  Tansy is a spunky, quirky girl, who doesn't believe in personal space. Tansy is wild and is always found hanging on a tree or something during her free time. She loves pulling pranks on other demigods with her half siblings, and making new friends with the newbies trying to calm them down after being chased by a monster or some other kind of crazy thing that brought them to the camp. Tansy is also very painfully honest (which is surprising seeing who her dad is) and will say some stuff that people really don't want to hear. Tansy is naïve and which allows people to manipulate her at times. Also her never back down from a challenge attitude adds more fuel to that fire.

  Tansy was born in Lebanon, Greece with a loud, optimistic and crazy mother. Fa would tell Tansy many stories about her father and since then Tansy made it her personal goal to find and meet him. Tansy grew up loved by all her neighbors, little did the naïve child know that they were all monsters. Tansy would play around, have fun, and not have a care in the world. This all changed when she started school. Elementary was fine it was a breeze for her, then Middle School hit. Tansy started to struggle in her studies and her straight A's turned into straight C's with a B in Mythology. Students started to make fun of her and soon Tansy found her self with the wrong crowd. These were the students who were held back for not caring, they smoked, drinked, you know the bad kids. Tansy started to hang out with them since they were the only ones nice to her. Or so she thought. The kids were just using Tansy because she was pretty and easy to manipulate. They had her do all the dirty work and they were just there for the results. Fa noticed her daughter changing as she hung out with these kids. Tansy started wearing black clothing, begging her mom for a phone, pushing her homework onto the floor or burning it. The last straw was when Fa found a fake ID under Tansy's pillow. Fa lost it then. Fa yelled at Tansy first, then once her daughter was crying started to comfort her. Tansy saw the error of her ways and swore to her mothernshe would fix it. Tansy went up to her 'friends' and told them she didn't want to be friends anymore and she was sick of their ways. Tansy guessed they didn't like that since they started to grow, and their eyes started to merge together. Yes, her friends were Cyclopsi. Frightened and confused, Tansy ran for her life, using sticksand anything else she could find to throw at the monsters. When she got home she explained to her mom what just happened. To Tansy's surprise, her mother pulled out a suitcase filled with money and two passports. Fa gave Tansy a golden knife and told her daughter to get in the car. The drove to the airport while rocks and trees were thrown at them. Once there, Fa told Tansy to use the knife. Tansy not sure what to do stabbed a Cyclops' foot and he toppled over the others and they fell like dominos. They turned into dust, which made Tansy confused even more but she had no time to ask questions for her mom dragged her to their plane and off they went to New York. On the plane ride, Fa told Tansy about her father, the monsters and where they were going. Tansy laughed thinking it was a joke, but when her mom wasn't smiling, she knew she was dead serious. Tansy slept the rest of the way to New York. Once there Tansy's mom took her to somd relatives house where they got situated. Then Fa drove Tansy up to a place called Camp Half-Blood. Tansy entered the camp by accident and she looked back to see her mom looking around calling her name. Tansy yelled at her mom telling her she's right here but a voice behind her told her that her mother cannot hear her. It was a centaur named Chiron. Tansy looked back at her mother as Fa told Tansy she loved her and this is for the best. With tears in her eyes she left, without hearing Tansy's cries. Tansy was a mess that day and she followed Chiron further into the camp.
  
  
  Years past since that day and Tansy got use to her life in the camp. Messaging her mother was easy since she has the Messanger God on her side. Tansy became part of the welcoming committee helping newbies adjust to their new lives. Also visiting the Roman camp to say hi to a certain Mars Praetor.

Nickname: "You can only address me as Leader, you got that newbie?" Whenever a new person comes into Camp Jupiter, they usually call him leader because they didn't want to offend the scary guy. Now, Leader stuck on to many, and only a few people like Maximus call him by his real name.

Thaddeus is an expert at hand to hand combat. He has mastered many forms of fighting, the ones he usually uses being Judo, Roman wrestling, Roman Legionarre fighting, street fighting, and Taekwondo.


Lightning Manipulation:


Thaddeus, being the son of Zeus, has a natural control over lightning. He can summon lightning from above, coat his weapons or himself in lightning, or just straight up throw lightning like his own dad does. He also uses his demigod powers to fly, as he can control the wind as well and make him fly. He can create mini storms around him.


Master Strategist:


Being a Praetor, Thaddeus is a master war strategist. He is able to think up almost any strategy that could get himself or his group out of any tight spot.


Expert Swordsmen:


Thaddeus is very good at handling a blade. He uses his sword frequently in battle, cutting down monsters four times his size, even larger. He can outduel children of Aries, out think and parry children of Athena.


Sword of Caesar:

The blade Thaddeus uses is the same one Caesar once used before he was killed.


Weakness: "You trying to say something newbie? Everyone has a weakness, even the gods."

Slow:

Thaddeus has to sacrifice some speed for his high defense and attack. He isn't horribly disabled, but he can be outsped. This is why he usually does close range fighting.

Anger:

Though he is usually cool headed, if he does get mad, it's bad for both sides. He can become very reckless,attacking anything in his way. Sometimes, that could be an ally.

Thaddeus is a very serious young adult who doesn't take crap from anybody, not even gods. He is pretty humorless, being a cold stone leader. He is very intimidating, which make his job easier for him, as the campers will do his bidding without any back talk. He has a lot of Roman pride, and would rather die than see his beloved Camp Jupiter fall. Even though he is tough and prideful, he cares a lot for everyone in the camp, and he believes that the best way to protect them is to make them battle ready. He is constantly either training, or talking to Maximus about battle strategies. Even though it is protected by a cold stone leader attitude and his intimidation, he still does have a heart. However, it is very difficult to earn his trust, even harder to earn his love. Being born on the streets, Thaddeus is tough, and won't back down from anything. You can call it stubbornness, but he calls it "pride."

Just before His mother tragically passed away, on his 19th birthday, she gave him this bracelet. It seems like a normal rastaclat bracelet, but at desperate times, it gives Thaddeus a last boost of energy.

Not much is known about the past of this young man, hut it us easy to tell it was tragic. The only people who know are the gods, and also Maximus.

It all started in Detroit, the home of Thaddeus. Jupiter at least gave his mother money so they could live a decent life together in an apartment together, but that was all he did. One day, while he was coming home from school, Thaddeus noticed two large men behind him. At first, Thaddeus thought these two men were from a rival gang, so Thaddeus throws a punch at one of them. The two large men blinked at him, and he was astonished that they both only had one eye. He was chucked into the alley, and he booked it to his house. He told his mother everything, and she surprisingly grabbed a suitcase and gave it to her son, and taxi money. She told him to ask for Camp Jupiter, and she gave him some strange large coins. He was so confused, but he snapped out of it when his door was kicked in by one of the Cyclops. His mother shoots one with a golden pistol as they both run out if the apartment. Suddenly, everything went wrong. They were surrounded by hordes of monsters, with no escape. He mother shoots two more monsters down before she is speared by a Gorgon. He couldn't believe it. She was dead. His mother was- "That's enough. We don't have to get into the rest." Thaddeus now currently lives as the second Praetor of Camp Jupiter. (The rest will be reveled later)

Nickname: Mr. Tomin, though some students call him “Absent Abe” behind his back.

Below is a rather sophisticated portrait of Abe by a Nymph he encountered while finding ingredients for a cloaking spell. While it has captured his likeness a great deal, his current appearance might not exactly depict a sense of sophistication, as Abe's appearance can be described as somewhat “kooky.”

His hair and beard are a little frizzy, and to complete his “old-professor” look (and for practical reasons of course), he wears a pair of brown glasses, and carries around an old leather satchel, with papers, miscellaneous woodland spell ingredients, and his old and faithful reed pipe.

Abe can be clumsy sometimes, he leaves behind random items he forgets are in his possession, and can often get distracted by his thoughts causing him occasionally bump into to others or objects.


Another weakness and reason why Abe has been commissioned to teach rather than serve in expeditions or battles, is that he suffers from PTSD – Post-traumatic stress disorder. His flashes or episodes can occur at any time, interfering with day to day life. Some are mild and cause him to stare blankly or mutter expressions of his discomfort, others appear to be a re-enactment of a moment in time where he was particularly distressed, as if the incident was taking place once again.


His sense of smell is weakened underground, you would not be able to coax him into entering an underground tunnel due to his fear of not being able to sense danger coming his way. Abe often refers to the time he found himself lost in a nest of Myrmekes, all he could do was run until he found a way out, not before encountering many of the giant ant-like creatures and nearly becoming captured.


Personality:


Abe can often be perceived as eccentric but this is mostly due to his forgetfulness and bouts of random recollections of past traumatic experiences. He is kind in nature and friendly to all, the only things he complains about are annoying animals or technologies and things in the modern world, and often becomes shy when he is around a beautiful nymph. Abe really enjoys the simple things in life, such as nature, chewing on a piece of wood, or writing in a journal.

Family: His father was a shepherd and Satyr named Archibald Tomin, who was a popular goat's cheese merchant when Abe was young. He does not know who is mother was, only that she was a Dryad (wood nymph). No children that he is aware of.

Abe has a small humble home in the half-blood forest, not your typical setting for shepherding, however he had to make a home for his goats as well as himself somewhere. He has a variety of species of goats; some Alpine and LaManchas for good goats cheese – they tend to wander around Abe's home finding things to nibble on, miniature companion goats – can be seen following Abe around, or sometimes demi-Gods and other camp residents, and then there are his tree goats – they are a little mischievous at times and appear in strange high places, particularly trees of course.

“Marshy” - The above tree goat is extremely stealthy and appears in unconventional places, not just trees! He is very inquisitive and likes to be among the action around the camp, but is not equipped for combat or anything other than climbing since he is after all, a goat. A goat who thinks he is more than a goat.


History:


In his younger days, Abe's father Archibald Tomin taught him all there was to know about being a shepherd, since Archibald enjoyed the peaceful life being very timid in nature. However Abe was very curious about life and myth, and sought knowledge in all things magical and earthly. He eventually started out becoming a keeper, or protector, in his early to mid 20's, during this time he gained some knowledge of combat, something new and frightening to him, but it was enough to keep him out of trouble. After years of success he approached the Council of Cloven Elders in hopes of taking part in a great quest, the search for Pan, and sooner after obtained the Searcher's license and started his journey.


In the many years that followed, he completed journal after journal documenting his discoveries while he searched for Pan. Though the attempt to find the great God of nature had failed, he still maintains his time searching was a successful quest for knowledge, meeting many creatures and encountering monsters along the way.


For a time after that, after finding was not quite so youthful anymore to continue a life of questing, Abe retired to becoming a shepherd, selling some of the finest goats cheese. His shop also specialized in providing spells for travelers. Now he has relocated to Camp Half-blood, where he feels he might be more useful.

I enjoyed the movies, and haven't read the books unfortunately and surprisingly since I enjoy mythological stories. My favorite Percy Jackson character is probably Hermes, he is just a character I wish had more screen time because he was pretty interesting and entertaining. Favorite God would have to be Poseidon, I love all the sea creatures of myth the most.

Personality: He is kind and caring due to his father drilling that lesson into him, even if he lost him at an early age. He is smart and stubborn due to growing up on the streets. He is very serious and leader like due to losing his dad at an early age. He is labeled as a bad boy but that's because if he sees someone getting bullied he will fight the bully and beat him up, the same goes for if he's bullied. He is very brave, often not backing down just to protect someone

History: His father died when he was nine and he had lived on the streets for two years before an orphanage took him in. Then he went into a foster home that was just in for the money. His current foster father beats him up and often times he comes to school with bruises saying he fell. As such he began to be bullied for his clumsiness. Though he wouldn't take any of that, he often got into fights with them. This accompanied by his D average ended up getting him a lot of detention and a bad boy rep.
