[div class=mgrpBackground][DIV class=mgrpBody][DIV class=mgrpHeader]The Wizard, the Egg, and the Internet[/DIV] Character creation for the adventuring party
  • Your character can be any mainstream fantasy race, barring legit big-name gods and demons. You’re allowed to play demi-gods and minor deities provided they follow all the other rules too.
  • Your character must be original. We will not be working with canon characters from copyrighted settings.
  • Your character can only be as over-powered as everyone else. We’re straddling a delicate line between “hilariously unprepared for this new setting despite our awesome power” and “there’s no more storyline because we one-upped each other to the point that someone drilled a hole through the multiverse and ate the galaxy and welian wasn’t prepared for that kind of bullshit”.
  • If you’re paralyzed by the possibilities, pretend your character is a D&D character somewhere between levels 15 and 20.
  • Your characters know each other. In fact, they’ve known each other for a minimum of two months.

Character creation for everyone else
  • This is America and we have the Second Amendment.
  • Your character must be, to the best of their knowledge, a normal human with no magical abilities or knowledge.

Name: Amelia pendrakon

Age: 23 (looks about 7)

Gender: female

Alliance: the group

Role: Noble Knight

Power(s)/Skill(s): a master at swordplay, her noble sword is named uthgard and it has the unique property that it can cut through any material rather it be magical or otherwise.

Weapon(s): Uthgard the dragonslayers sword.

History: Amelia was the princess daughter of the king of knights Artier pendrakon. She was raised from a young age to be a powerful knight and has gone on many adventures. she has slain evertything from orcs to dragons and is praised for her good deeds. on one adventure, when she was 23, she went up agains a powerful sorcerer who thought he could easily make a name for himself by defeating the princess of knights. he underestimated her as all her opponents do, and before she was able to strike him down he desperately put out a curse to leave her weak, a curse which made her body regress to a childs form and never age from that day onward. the sorcerer escaped and now she struggles to find parties who are willing to take her on adventures, as no one seems to want to "babysit" her, despite the fact that she can still fight better then almost any knight in the kingdom.

Made him as overpowered as imaginable. (Well, not really. I can imagine more overpowered than this, and probably so can you.)
c995ba02b0c421b7e8803e48433f1ef1.png

Name: Antares the Despiser. Currently, he goes by the moniker of "Cedric."
Age: 625
Gender: Male
Class: Dark Wizard

Personality: tl;dr: Guy has been traumatized by his evil deeds, but he's narcissistic, so he creates the affable persona of a people-despising, love-hating dark lord, but in reality he can't bring himself to hurt people who don't deserve it. He doesn't admit to any of it openly. Also, he is pretending to be a dude called Cedric to do some stuff for fun.

Antares is something of a person actively leading two lives, like the two sides of a coin.

On one side, he is the polite archmage Cedric-kun who will gladly help the old lady across the street, and then help her carry groceries up the stairs with a kind smile. But the moment you flip the coin to the other side, there's a cruel motherfucker who will drain granny's mana as "payment" for crossing the street, and who will do nearly anything to obtain more power, from sacrificing his humanity to sacrificing other people in dark rituals. He is a marginal sociopath and a megalomaniac, and he justifies his deeds as himself being superior to other people who are simple trash and therefore not worth considering.

He thinks of other people the same way you might think of spiders. They're ugly, stupid, disgusting creatures, yet so abnormally foul that they provoke a natural instinct that makes you want to crush them with a paper towel, since flicking them away or leaving them alone carries the danger they might lay eggs and return for vengeance with reinforcements. However, if they keep their distance, they can be ignored, even if he has that aching feeling that those crawling, stupid creatures are setting up webs all around him. He particularly likes to torture stupid people, especially if they are confident or ignorant, because they are a menace to himself, to society, to culture, to ethics, and many other things.

He has been trying to keep a close lid on the fact he isn't entirely human and entirely moral. But, you see, he is a narcissistic dickwad who has been irritated on a persistent basis by the presence of "inferiors" and as such, he must've slipped out some of that grueling, vile salt once in a while. Despite his "nice guy act" there must have been obvious shows along the two-month journey. Maybe it's just the way he grinned when that band of pathetic bandits just wasn't giving up. Therefore, the party has already probably figured out that he's evil, or at least morally questionable, and they should not let him disappear behind closed doors without supervision.

In reality, the person you're looking for lies at the side of the coin, rather than either of these two sides. He is neither the nice and polite Cedric nor the megalomaniacal, sociopathic Antares the Despiser. The latter is a personality he created and assumed to deal with mental trauma and the former is a fake personality created by the latter. In reality, he's just a narcissist with self-image problems who wouldn't touch a hair on the head of that old lady I mentioned earlier, but he does just to prove to himself that he is still an evil, dark, brooding person and he should keep going like this or else he would be forced to admit that performing an act of great evil in the first place was a mistake, and that he is an actual, flawed human being.

He has noticed but never consciously acknowledged the fact, but he has never killed anyone who (a) didn't deserve it in some way, (b) didn't pick a fight with him, (c) was best to remove for the sake of all mankind. Yes, this includes all of his evil rituals. If he acknowledged this, the ego shell he built up to protect his fragile narcissism would probably develop cracks.

Backstory: tl;dr: People have severely exaggerated actual history, Antares isn't evil just stupid and prideful; used to be a mage, turned into a jerk, accidentally flooded the village, didn't admit to his mistake, people branded him as evil, couldn't deal with the shame, created an evil persona and convinced himself people were stupid and yucky, kept doing it until it became natural, is now stuck as a pseudo-sociopath with megalomaniacal tendencies. The imp was right all along! Wants Xandiel for his juicy knowledge bits and for political pull with the king and other big shots.

Not much historical records remain of Antares the Despiser, and what is left is the stuff of minor folk tales. As the story goes, there was a boy who despised at first himself, then everyone around him, then everyone else... but it wasn't always this way.

In the beginning, Antares was just a normal boy, his playing habits involving trudging through the sandbox, his education consisting of learning the alphabet at the priory. Like you or me, he had some embarrassing moments in his childhood, like that one time, where some kids caught him peeing by the playground. After that one, the village kids always knew him by the name... 'Foreskin Boy.' Everything changed after the three village elders discovered the boy's magical predisposition. To make a fake story-which-has-been-corrupted-by-time true:

No, he did not develop malice directed towards mankind; he became a jerk who liked to boast and parade his newfound abilities about. And no, he did not conjure up a demon, which would then force the villagers to offer a creature for it to fight each night for three consecutive nights or it would take another village elder each night, while also teaching them parables about magic and hatred.

He actually ended up making a decent career bringing down rain to the land, and was revered almost like a deity.

And that demon in the official story? That was his familiar at the time - a two-foot-tall imp.

Those three nights? That was just a, three-day-long celebration the villagers threw to mark Antares' eighteenth birthday, and the imp kept coming to the village elders complaining that the cumulative hangover in his master's head would result in a disaster.

And those three monsters the villagers supposedly had to offer for the demon to fight? That was just the villagers convincing the drunk Antares to get rid of the spoilsport of an imp. He didn't summon a sabretooth tiger; he summoned a cat, he didn't summon a great angel; he summoned a chicken with a halo, and he didn't summon a primordial titan; he animated a clump of earth in the rough shape of a human and had it fight the imp until it terminated their contract for abuse and ran away.

Unfortunately, the imp was right. On the next morning, when Antares got up, his throat felt so parched that when he tried to conjure some water for himself, but he used too much mana and he accidentally caused a flood.

Now, a person could either call this an accident that could have happened to anyone with a hangover or blame the villagers who were obviously in the wrong and have poisoned his body with vile alcohol. Now, mind you, this kid has been surrounded for most of his formative and pubescent years by a society that was completely smitten with him, so obviously the few inhibitors for pride that were in his brain didn't quite work correctly as he declared the villagers to be unlawful sinners and the flood to be the righteous, wrathful punishment he cast down upon them.

Internally ashamed of his deed, he fled into the mountains, saying that mankind is in the wrong. Eventually, to deal with the mental pressure of destroying the livelihoods of innocent villagers who were celebrating his existence up until that point, he desperately convinced himself that he was right, and that humans were fundamentally stupid, repulsive and disgusting creatures, and some of them really deserve to get tortured or killed. He succeeded, I would say, too well. And his megalomaniacal desire to seek power? That originated as a desire to seek enough understanding and control of magic to ensure that a miscast like that would never happen again, and ended up in him actively seeking out evil, unforgivable, amoral people who he could sacrifice for additional power.

Naturally, this continued for hundreds of years as he extended his lifespan and kept changing appearances every few decades,. Sometimes, he'd make a dramatic appearance, tell everyone of his true name, then laugh evilly and run away, saying he will be back, more powerful than ever, which contributed to the word of Antares being an evil, spiteful devil who shuns mankind. With time, he actually found the role of a scheming villain to be gratifying and the fear it brought at the mention of his mere name to really tickle his chuuni complex, so he kept things this way for all his time.

His current disguise, the archmage Cedric, decided to pursue Lord Xandiel in order to rip out the juicy bits of magical knowledge from his head and gain some pull with the local political scene, so he could play at this whole 'villain weaves intrigue and plots to take over the kingdom' thing that he heard about and was excited about trying.

Armor: tl;dr: super-robe, somewhat magical, dandy, and classy, but not very protective.
- Robe: Enhances mana regeneration and allows high-speed levitation and flight. Woven from the dandiest, mystic spider silk this side of the material plane. Has the rough protective value of mithril chainmail, without any of the weight and annoying cluttering sounds. Probably won't stop a bullet, unless you layer a mage armor spell on top of it. Has a dope-ass hood that casts a mysterious shadow on the wearer's face for when you want to be a coo' secretive sith lord and shii'.

Weapons: tl;dr: staff and sword, good combo, but not good at using the sword part of the deal. Killed some druids for that staff, but they were wannabe bio-terrorists, so it's okay. Did I say the sword is basically a lightsaber?
- Staff: Enhances cast spells and lowers their mana cost. In addition, when he strongly strikes the bottom against a surface, it makes loud thumps and causes visible air-waves to expand from the point of impact for sheer impression. Made from carved, glazed mahogany wood taken from an elder wisdom tree. Those druids were actually a group of ecologically-motivated terrorists, and not very effective at their job when they tried to use vines to block traffic, so taking them out was beneficial for mortalkind by both getting rid of terrorists and filtering the gene pool, and no one will grieve after a tree or two.
- Shortsword: Even Gandalf had one. Mostly for when "Cedric" runs out of mana. It has been enchanted with the element of fire, so it lights itself ablaze when drawn and blazes at a modest temperature of 1,750°C; enough to melt steel beams and cauterize wounds like a lightsaber, because lightsabers are cool as heck.

Skills: tl;dr: smart boy with rituals, magic items, and torture methods.
- Educated Polymath: More of a sorcerer than a wizard in this regard, but he did actually study arcane lore extensively in his years and began to understand the world around himself, as well as the abyss of magic a little bit better. He monopolized his skills by transmuting water into gold paint and painting and selling rocks, but was quickly found out by the local mint. After that, he transmuted diamonds, because it's easier to transmute carbon into really, very solid, pressurized carbon than to transmute some fuck-off weird substance into another substance close by on the periodic table.
- Ritual Magic: Can contact demons from the underworld to do things for him, if he pays, and do similar things. He used rituals where he sacrificed bandits and evildoers to convert their EXP directly into additional lifespan for himself. Alternatively, he just crushed them like juice boxes, where the juice is +1 point to his MP pool.
- Torture Methods: Enjoys torture as a past-time. He knows all the dirty tricks, ABCs, 101s and neat psychological techniques a torturer might use to make the victim uncomfortable or turn them into a screaming wreck.
- Magic Item Crafting: Personally made his robe and staff. He did not make his sword, but he did enchant it. He can also make potions, scrolls, wands, and similar things, if given ingredients and a workshop.

Abilities/Spells: tl;dr: shoots blasts of kinetic energy, fire, and other elements, but also does some evil stuff like zombie raising and cursing people with hemorrhoids, but also does some minor stuffy things like prestidigitation, or mugging grandmas in alleyways and making people forget. Also, Drain Touch is stronk, pls nerf.
- Evocation & Elemental Magic: A school of magic that focuses on converting raw magical energy into other forms of energy, like kinetic energy, potential energy, heat energy, stilling energy, but also more esoteric forms of energy. He is also studied in the elemental arts, which he calls upon to blast fools with whirlwinds, balls of fire, smother them in balls of water, or just kind of make boulders fall on them.
- Dark Magic & Necromancy: A closely-correlated pair of branches of magic that specialize in things like curses, wounding, maiming, casting misfortune upon a target, raising undead soldiers, stealing or exchanging positive and negative energies, and similar, often adverse, effects. Antares is rather proficient with it, adopting it like second nature. He knows a lot of curses; a curse that opens a cut wound that never heals naturally and bleeds profusely if not bandaged, a curse that causes a man to spit up golden coins every few hours with more and more coins each hour until he chokes on them, a curse that causes the target's neurons to misfire as if they hadn't slept in a tenday, and a curse that turns the target into a toad unless they receive a true love's kiss. He can also speak with ghosts, raise undead troops, or steal your body's various selection of life-forces (health, mana, stamina; in D&D just inflict negative levels, HP drain, and ability score damage. Either way, pretty nasty.)
- Other Stuff: He's not exactly a universalist, but he has dabbled in other schools extensively, particularly divination and enchantment; hypnosis is useful for maintaining a secret identity when you fucked up and need to rewrite the memories of some witnesses who saw you casting magic on a grandma in an alleyway. Either way, he's a 20th Level Wizard, so until he runs out of mana, you're fucked, and the thing with running out of mana is that knowing the spell 'Drain Touch' turns human beings into mana potions on legs.

Aria Aedes Culicidae
567456

Overview

Name: Aria Aedes Culicidae

Age: 666 (looks 20ish)

Race: vampire

Sex: female

Class: tank/vampire

Personality:
Aria is a playful vampire that likes to help others. Being one of the oldest in the team, she consider herself as the big sister of the group. Sometimes this lead her to being overconfidence in doing things.

She likes sleeping. So much that she decided to carry her coffin everywhere. Whether this is the side effect of her being a vampire or simply because she's just a sleepyhead is unknown.

Backstory:
Centuries ago, Lord Alucard gone mad from drinking chicken blood all the time and decided that its time for him to conquer the world so he can freely drinks human blood. He leds his army of undeads and trampled through the kingdom. Until a band of heroes were formed to defeat him.

Although the source of the chaos has been defeated (Lord Alucard has been 'banished', to quote what the church said). His bloodsucking rampage had accidentally turned some of his victim into his kind. Resulting in a rising number of vampires for the first time in centuries and the enactment of vampire-hunt by the king at that time.

Aria was one of the accidental vampire. Because her family didn't want her to be hunted. They hide her underground in a secret chamber. Aria spent time by sleeping on one of the rock. She fell into a very very deep slumber.

500 years later, Aria woke up only to found that her family has long gone. The current owner of the house got mad when he found Aria wandering aimlessly inside his house and kicked her out. "NO PAY NO STAY" he said.

Lucky that Aria found another pair of misfits. A skeleton in shining armor and a headless hedge knight that was looking for his missing head. Together they formed a mercenary team, The Raging Bone- I mean, the Aging Bones, since they're all undeads. They become her new family, and this one will last for eternity, right?

They spent times doing all sorts of works together. Guarding caravan, subjugating monsters, repairing their neighbor's fence, looking for lost cat. All seems good until they get a clue to the whereabout of the headless' head.

Long story short, things gone south when they try to retrieve the headless' head, betrayal and *somewhat* epic battle ensued. Now they're separated in their own way, Aria decided to help in the mission to capture Lord Xandiel so she can get a manor as a reward. Her plan is she will make this manor as comfortable as she can while she wait for her two friends to return, which might take decades.

Combat Abilities

Armor
- Aria wears no armor, but her metal coffin acts as both weapon and shield. Oh, and portable bed too, and lootbox if necessary. Its high magic resistance material allow anyone inside it to be protected from most magic attack. Her clothes cover most of her body from direct sunlight, not that she would die from being exposed to sunlight but she's still allergic to it.

Weapon
- Her metal coffin. Its a 100kg metal with pure crushing power.
- Needlette: A pair of soft needles that can quickly grow from her wrist. It can easily pierce organic material and used as Aria's main bloodsucking organ.

Skills
- brawler: She has learned how to utilize her strength effectively in close combat. Yes, hit 'em till they move no more.

Abilities
- Vampirism: Aria has all the basic abilities of a vampire, including enhanced strength (she's strong enough to carry her metal coffin with ease and use it to smack her enemies), fast regeneration, thermal and chemical detection and the ability to transform into mosquito(s). Although she doesn't need to drink any blood to survive, she needs blood in order to access her true power.
- Blood magic: Magic that enables the caster to manipulate their own blood. Being a vampire, Aria has no blood, but she can sucks it from other and use it as if they're her own blood.

Aiko.gif
Name: Aiko Kuramasa
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Class: Swordsaint
Appearance:
Aiko is a female human of average height. Her built is atheltic, even though she does not show the greatest muscle. Her attire consists of mostly cloth, except for a metal cuirass, a metal mask and her helmet. The latter is however hidden by the ornament she has decorated it with, which appears like a white wig with demonic horns and the face of a goddess reaching out. The mask covers her nose and mouth, having the shape of an Oni´s mouth. Aiko usually wears this even when not in battle, simply because it is both useful and comfortable. Only the helmet and mask get removed when not needed. The mask more oftenly so than the helmet.
fantasy-girl-knife-straw-hat-raining-short-hair-artwork-fantasy-19602.jpg

Personality
A very regal aura comes off from the samurai. She appears calm, steady and self-confident. She knows who she is and she knows what she does, that much is clear from seeing her alone. One might easily mistake her confidence for arogance, but that is not true. She has been taught to always keep a levelled head, to take in every bit of a situtation before making any decision, however small it might be. When Aiko talks, it is oftenly either a suggestion, a wisdom of her master or a sarcastic joke. She does not talk much about herself, however she does not hide anything either, if she is to be asked.

Aiko mostly seems at peace with herself, even if sometimes, small disturbances occur. She would further never call herself a master, even if others do, insisting that she is merely at the start of her journey, that she has to learn a lot more before she can teach.

In moments of free time and relaxation, she enjoys to cook for her friends, to make sure they are happy. Her singing, however, is something she keeps to herself. Only in the most dire moments can her angelic voice be heard singing for friends, to soothe the stressed souls. Or, of course, if she feels unobserved.

Backstory
Aiko was born in the Rising Sun Empire, worked for the emperor and fought with a good friend. Then she found out that the government is supressing people and using dishonorable methods of keeping power. The strongly honor oriented Aiko deserted, her friend didnt, he never forgave her. She found a new master, where she and another samurai that had been banished, because he spoke up to his superiors too much, were trained. She became very good, so did the other, they fell in love as well. Years later they rebel against the emperor, big epic battle, old friend is now an enemy, her lover dies to her used to be friend to save her, she discovers and kills her lovers slayer, along with pretty much everyone else around (for the extra edge). Now she´s really sad because she won the battle but the price she paid hurts. She doesnt let it get the better of her, but decides to learn from it. She studies more, eventually overcoming her master, who dies satisfied, seeing his task of rising a worthy heir as fulfilled. Aiko decides to roam the land as kind of a mercenary, but one that only takes work she feels is honorable and good.

Weapons:
Aiko´s primary weapon is a nodachi, a sword similar to a katana, however way longer. It is very difficult to effectively use, but after long training, she has the necessary skill and experience to make it a deadly and elegant weapon. Hidden in the robes she wears, Aiko however usually has at least one Wazikachi.

Skills
Aiko has mastered the way of the Nodachi, just as much as her own body. Every movement, no matter how small, is controlled and focussed. With that, she has quite literally reached the peak of what a human can achieve. Her body is just as much a tool as her blade, her blade a part of her body. Aiko is not the strongest, but due to how efficiently she uses every little bit her body can offer, that does not matter. However, even the best human body is still human and will fall to a blade that pierces the heart.

Besides that, she is a trained cook and a very good singer.
Abilities/Spells
Sakura Flight
"Battle is not raw strength. It is the dance of blades, the beauty of combat. And the always lurking embrace of death."
An ability learned through pure discipline, Aiko´s will manifests with her blade. When concentrating on it enough, each strike with her blade will leave behind a trail of cherry blossoms. However, as beautiful as they are, as deadly are they. These blossoms are sharp as razors and cut through anything in their path. With that, Sakura Flight enhances the already great range of the nodachi to new lengths.

Koibito no katana
"With all my love, i promise... You will never stand alone. No matter where you are."
Through love and memory of who she lost, Aiko can manifest a ghost. It will lunge forward from her body and then appear almost like a mirror image of her. However, it does not mirror her movement, instead the ghost acts on its own, a strong warrior in itself. It stays for limited time, but makes for a useful temporal ally, especially when outnumbered.

Call of the Oni
"You are not meant to never feel anger, hatred or vengance. You are meant to control them. They must not consume you, instead you must utilize them. That, also, is part of the true way."
Only once has Aiko used this technique so far. Channeling all those feelings, that are usually meant to remain controlled, Aiko surrenders her body as a tool to wrath. She becomes more than a human then, ignoring whatever injuries she might have been dealt before. It is, as if she was another person, not knowing friend nor enemy. She only knows wrath and bloodthirst then and slays whatever unlucky fool may cross her path, absorbing their soul in the process. Each kill strengthens her in this form and drives her further into the madness she experiences.
When nothing to kill is around anymore, however, Aiko will collapse. The wrath will leave her body, all her old wounds reappear. As if whatever controlled her had given back the body it lent. But Aiko has full memory of what happened during the Call of the Oni. And she regrets.

Name: Kirin

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Class: Swordmage

Personality:
Kirin is a laid-back personnel of interest with much to say with his plows and shovels. He usually expresses a blank, emotionless visage, and sometimes with a few frowns in between, albeit not out of annoyance. It is just out of habit when tending to his farm while being harassed by the blazing sun. An earnest farmer at heart, he is less tactful when it comes to the world of politics and hidden agendas. Due to his nature as a straightforward farmer, he will say what he perceives, without regards for emotional responses. The man is not a master at the arts of speech, and is less persuasive when it comes to lies or deceits (his eye will twitch and will sweat a lot if he did tried to). Kirin is generally a progressive and practical person, with a hint of a humbled sense of humility. He is less likely to be seen reprimanding someone for their dereliction, and would instead, attempt to cheer them up with some potato soup. One would perceive him as a passive person, but when his lifestyle as a farmer is threatened, Kirin would not hesitate to make a stand for himself. Another thing of note is his easily-distracted state when anything about "farming" or "potato" is mentioned.

Backstory:
A tale of tragedy, Kirin had it rough since a young age… the evils that befell the farmer, eventually reinforced the young man’s resolve and conviction to see justice served with the demise of the wicked Xandiel. It was his fateful duty and inevitable destiny to accompany the company of heroes...

… actually, not quite. Kirin would have sat this one out, truth be told. Let’s rewind a bit...

An orphan of a bygone tragedy, the young child was adopted by a small town couple in Ostwald. It was here that the young Kirin spent most of his childhood on the farm, knowing all there is to know about the farming business. He eventually became a blacksmith apprentice for a while that accounted for most of his farming equipment's immaculate state. Kirin is an earnest farmer whose dedications to his crops are reflected in his well-refined personality of an honest rural man. When his foster parents passed during a plowing accident, the young Kirin carried on as a farmer. Skipping a few years, Kirin eventually stumbled upon a dying draconian that he ended up saving. In return for his act of kindness, Kirin was endowed with ancient draconian magic. Of course, with great powers, comes great responsibilities, or so the saying goes. The young man ultimately decided to put his newfound abilities to good use…

… by using it for farming.

1xOzeI6.jpg

Taking advantage of his nocturnal gifts that a draconian possess, accompanied by their enhanced strengths and keen senses, Kirin used it to watch his crops at night, chasing rodents and such. All was well, and the young farmer made great progress growing his crops, until one fateful day. He met Xandiel, of whom was trying to escape from the grasps of the company of heroes that chased after him. Kirin provided shelter and food for both the wizard and his assailants that were some days behind him. For months, he watched as Xandiel waltzed pass his home and back the way he came, as well as those that followed him. Despite his capable powers and personal training as a farming-swordsman-in-training, Kirin was less keen on joining either side. If anything, his crops were more important to him than anything else.

Eventually, a fire broke out one night, during Xandiel’s escape through Ostwald for the twenty-ninth times. Xandiel insisted on it being an accident, but Kirin gave in to his heart to pursue the man, or so one says. But the truth was that one of the heroes bribed him with promises of a new potato farm, if he accompanied the band to bring the evil mage to justice. Needless to say, the earnest farmer didn’t need to think twice when applying. Driven purely out of hunger.

+ Expert at farming (everything there is to know about farming and botany)
+ Lumberjack
+ Fisherman (a patient one. Except when he's hungry, then he'll use his draconian powers to catch the fish with his hands)
+ Potato Chef (decent cook, but his menus always consist of potato)
+ Pathfinder (able to track a trail, or simply detect if someone stole his potatoes)

The highlights of Kirin's skills consists mostly of his experiences on the farm. The man's showcase of humane skills are those of most farmers that have taken their time to study those around them. From survival skills to that of the improvised innovations, Kirin has what it takes to be a lone survivor, as well as to provide for those around him. As a swordsman, Kirin is able to defend himself for most cases, but have only graduated a common footman's grade when it comes to combat. While his combat skills are limited to that of a peripheral individual, Kirin is a fast learner, and will, for most part, be able to adapt to most situations without much hassle.

Abilities / Spells:
[Draconian Blood] - Kirin passive ability as a draconian knight encompasses his resistance to cold and hot climate, as well as his keen senses to detect movements in darkness. Although he insisted that it was because he ate a lot of carrots as a child. Furthermore, he is well-conditioned to tackle on most task without breaking a sweat.

[Draconian's Breath] - Kirin is able to conjure most fire spells innately without having to go through the process of incantations to cast them. Although he have only used them on a small scale. (specifically stoking fireplace or providing night lamps)

[Potato Masher] - Kirin's home-crafted spell that he had put up with trial-and-error experiments. The swordmage is able to turn any vegetable into a grenade that will detonate upon impact. The effects of the said enchanted vegetables are dependent on his enchantment: high-explosive, flashbang, or smoke. Potato is a prime candidate for this spell, as it is durable, rollable, easily concealed, and is relatively lighter to carry than most. Although, Kirin did considered carrots for their longer throwing range.

A piece of half-cooked fish, please. Without any sauce. I will burn your house down if I get another indigestion.
Millicent

  • 567492Name:
    Millicent

    Age:
    67

    Gender:
    Male

    Class:
    Familiar

    Personality:
Millicent is smart for a cat, but he is a cat. Unlike his older brother by 13seconds, Millicent is polite and courteous in his words and speech. He has a high tolerance for people and could be considered very open-minded. He is resolute in his actions and speech, driving to the heart of the matter as he likes.

Self-respect is an important trait to have, and Millicent knows it well. As he should treat himself with the greatest respect, it means he should treat himself best. In other words, selfishness and arrogance are not in the wrong. Millicent' proper conduct and politeness also stems from his self-respect. By being presentable, he is respecting himself as well. Of course, when it comes to how others see him and what he really wants, his wants comes first.

    Backstory:
Millicent was born on the 7th day of the 7th month as the 7th kitten of a litter of seven, the 7th litter from his mother, who was the 7th kitten of her litter of seven, from a lineage whose 7th generation above him stood an ancestor who was also born on the 7th day of the 7th month as the 7th kitten of a litter of seven. In other words, Millicent was born under a very auspicious condition the world practically blessed him with everything. Elongated lifespan, excellent magical talent, and innately high intelligence.

Lunar Cat was a popular race as Witch' Familiar. Millicent was no different. His master was Kitchen Witch Gretanael, whose prowness in arcane cooking rivaled that of a Grandmaster Chef. The responsibility of a Familiar was to support their contractor, and for Millicent whose talent was excellent, helping Gretanael in her arcane cooking was not too difficult. Cooking was fun, but the eating part was rewarding too.

After fifty years under Gretanael's care, he grew bored of being in a witch' kitchen, so he didn't renew his familiar contract and roamed alone. Being a lone Lunar Cat was a bit annoying. People often tried to convince him to be their Familiar. That part wasn't bad, but when kidnapping and threats came too often, sweeping away their remains and avoiding the authority was a pain. What even was more annoying, the great Millicent was put not on a wanted poster, but on a subjugation quest! Being put under the same level as beasts was very insulting, so he decided to straighten some things by being a better adventurer than the most.

Apart from the subjugation quest one time in the past, life was still wonderful for Millicent, until the day he met Xandiel.

He was pouring himself a saucer of milk from a bottle inside an ancient tomb when the bastard ran in, broke through his protection arrays and restriction spells, and kick him down the sacrificial altar.

He kicked him. Like a stray cat. Worse, the kick broke his concentration and broke the milk bottle. It was the milk of Cow that Jumped Over the Moon. He spent two years looking for that cow bastard to get that bottle of milk! Before Millicent could give the wizard a piece of his mind, the sacrificial altar glowed red and a demon showed up. And it spoiled the milk with his demonic aura. Millicent saw red.

Once he regained his sense, the wizard was nowhere to be seen and the demon a red stain on the wall. That was how Millicent joined the group chasing after the bastard wizard. The reward he wanted from the kingdom? Access to the Royal Herb Garden! Plundering all those delicious herbs... hehe.

    Armor: Solar Fortress
A set of a dozen metallic sheets that moves under Millicent's control to form a protection array. Able to use sunlight as their energy source.

    Weapon: Lunar Flintlock
A flintlock that shot spells that could substitute for staff or wand for medium. Able to use moonlight as its energy source

    Support: Spatial necklace
A necklace that has a dimensional space inside. Able to store up to 1 kilometer cube of things.

Name: Montrizaur
Age: Adultish
Gender: Male
Race: Kobold
Class: Panty Thief
Personality: Surprisingly unkleptomanic. Very sly. Much clever. Uber-sassy, yet charmingly optimistic.
Backstory: Was the greatest thief in the world. "Got bored" and started stealing panties instead. Though just between you and me... nah. I can't. Telling you the whole truth is exactly what welian would expect me to do.

Armor: Leather, if that counts.
Weapons: Tricky stuff. Explosive stuff. The rogues arsenal. Seriously, the whole arsenal. Literally in his back pocket.

Skills: The greatest thief in the world, with all the skills due to such a title.

Abilities/Spells: He don't protec, but he can attac. Mostly does sneks. Can swing and climb making the man spider proud. Oh, and can go invisible but that usually makes things too easy.
