Futuristic We failed....[Closed For Now]

I am also interested. So are we looking at a modern/realistic setting with undertones of cyberpunk? (augmentations, futuristic armor, etc?) @shadowz1995

More futuristic than modern but the blend between the two is well made, I believ anyway. We have people from the future who are incredibly advanced and humans are almost entirely synthetic. Some alien races thrown in and then modern humans with some cyber augments, if they so choose or needed.

The technology itself (guns, armor, vehicles) is several centuries ahead of the curve because of the knowledge brought back from the future so the SETTING itself is cyberpunk in nature. Its taking place at the beginning of the war.

As a side note, to everyone. Im thinking about telling the story through operations and then roleplaying some small moments in between major ops. I think it keeps the pace up and allows for good character development during the downtime. We can also have small "mini arcs" that serve as smaller operations for players who, for some reason, werent able to get into a bigger operation.

21! Blackjack!
Sorry I had to, my rank at 20 was "Hit me".

Anyways back to more important matters... that all sounds good to me, the only thing I'm curious about is... are you thinking very detailed/few posts during these missions/operations? Because of how many people there are I think the roleplay could be relatively fast paced with multiple people posting frequently, not sure though...

I think with the amount of people we have, we can keep it casual but I will personally always try to write as much as I can. That way we can cater to everyone's needs.

Some people get busy and can't afford to write a 4 paragraph post but some people (like myself) cant roleplay properly if there isnt some quality to the posts youre responding too. If that makes sense....

Im still working out the details and do need some opinions on everything. So by all means Lmao

ah okay I just prefer packing as much detail and uniqueness into a paragraph or two, it helps me think of ways to present things that could be explained in more detail in a fraction of a post. Again this is just personal preference, everyone has their own style. I also don't enjoy walls of text it overwhelms me and feels like a chore xD

Nah, cuz then sometimes it feels forced. Like you were jist looking for shit to write you know?

However, sometimes a post gets extremely long because you genuinely have a lot to write lmao. I personally love those moments.

Sometimes, but for some, like myself, it's the most comfortable. I can read over it fairly quickly and make corrections in a shorter time. I like a bit of obscurity and anticipation for the next post. I'm not completely against it but I don't actively seek out epic's. Sometimes I get really into it and write more than that but very rarely does that happen because most the time it feels like I've said what I needed to.

For setups, overviews, and missions however I do enjoy a thoroughly thought out approach the more detail it has the more specific I can get with a character, and the more accurately I can portray intent of the character

Great. Seems like it will be just fine then.

The only thing I ask is that roleplayers have different preferences. So lets just try to find the balance between individuals.

sounds good, posts been up for a couple days. When do we officially start?

I just put this up yesterday I think? Maybe the night prior. But I have the hosted project created. Im just getting the info together on my journal here and organizing it.

Would you guys prefer to just talk in the Hosted Project? Might be better there idk

I can see the date you joined, and I pay attention. Especially to authors of roleplays... wouldn't want to join a roleplay with an un-dedicated story teller ;)

Ahhhh. Right I forgot it says that actually. Sorry the nap has got me a little loopy.

Let me actually get back to the roleplay in question lol. Post up in the ooc
