United States and other world powers have officially sent out hundreds of ships to Planet Zero. It took us many years, yet we have finally became ready. We ran many tests to ensure the planet will be as beneficial as earth was, and we received spectacular results.
Planet Zero is not only twice the size of esrth, yet has a type of anti-aging affect. Those who have visited Planet Zero have noticed that they age slower, if not at all. Yet they also report feeling watched, and hearing peculiar sounds.
We have not caught sight of any foreign life, but the planet has beautiful ecosystems. Bodies of water are light purple or pink, while the sky is a very soft lavender color.
Planet Zero has one sun, yet two moons. One has aradioactive ring around it, while the other is incredibly similar to our past moon.
It will take 100 years for our race to reach Planet Zero, yet everyone will be placed into an anti-aging slumber. They will not need to eat, drink, nor do daily human functions
I can only hope we will treat this planet better than we did earth, we cannot afford to destroy another.
- You are a young adult (18-28) you were placed on the ship and expected to arrive perfectly fine, only to wake up and find that you and the others around you are the only humans who have survived the great travel. The ship crashed, and while there a some weapons, there are very little and are practically useless against the natives of the planet.
You must learn their culture, learn how they worship their planet, and learn to respect them, because they are far more powerful than any human who lived.
These natives are gorgeous, flawless and resemble humans very closely despite their powerful gifts. They are kind, yet protective of their land. The queen is who you should fear, go against her and you will disappear.
- 1.) This will be a hyper-realistic role play. Which means if your character is shot or injured, you cannot act as if the character is perfectly fine.
2.) This is a detailed role-play, I expect at least one paragraph (7 full sentences) per post. If you have any issues (ex. Limited time, writers block, etc.) Please let me or the Co-gm know so you avoid warnings. If you cannot write up to one paragraph at the least, this role play isn't for you.
3.) Absolutely no god-modding (ex. Controlling characters that aren't yours, killing other characters without permission, changing the plot of the roleplay with permission from the gm/co-gm) you will immediately be given a warning if you refuse the change the post or if you constantly god-modding.
4.) What Tasteless (GM) and DemonKitten (Co-GM) say is final. If we ask you to revise your character/post, be sure to do so to avoid being removed from participating.
5.) This role play will be a strictly three warnings only type, after three warnings you will be removed from the role play.
6.) If you have any questions, contact the Gm or Co-Gm via PM.

Leo Grey Marble
A ringing filled Leo's ears as he slowly opens his eyes, blinking away the long sleep he had just endured. His world spun for a moment, a blur of movement until he was able to focus and everything became still again.
He focused on the dark ceiling above him, before focusing on the glass that encased him in his sleeping pod. The glass was cracked in several places, yet had not broken into his pod. He pushes against the glass gently, and the pod opens up with a gentle swish. The ship was dark, which struck him as peculiar since it had been incredibly bright before he had been induced to sleep.
He slowly sits up and his body screams in protest, causing him to groan softly. The pods around him had not opened yet, was he the first one to wake up? He carefully got to his stiff feet, and grabbed onto one of the pods beside him to steady himself. Inside the pod was a beautiful young woman, her eyes moved rapidly behind her closed eyelids, he guessed she would be awake soon as well.
Then a scent hit him, the smell of gasoline and smoke.
He carefully walks across the massive room filled with pods, stumbling occasionally but catching himself. Once he gets to the door, he places his hand on the read, and it blinks red for a moment, before the door swishes open. He steps into the long glass hallway, and furrows his brow. The glass was broken open in multiple areas, he approaches on of the openings and Stares out at the world around him in awe. The trees towered larger than any building man had made, the sky was lit up a beautiful lavender color as the foreign sun rose in the distance, while the two moons lowered slowly. He then notices the black smoke, and is hit with the a painful realization. They had crashed here, meaning the ship was useless and irreparable without the property squad and tools.
He hurries back down the hall toward the pod room, and places his hand on the reader. Nothing. He does this several more times, with no success. "You bastard." He mumbles, before a guttural growl from the massive forest outside makes him jump, there wasn't supposed to be life here.
Finally, the door swishes open and he hurried inside, watching it close behind him. Yet he swore he saw Amber eyes watching him from the shadows of the forest.
He brushes off what he saw as him being paranoid, before going toward the lockers. He unlocks his with the code of his birthday, and pulls out his duffle bag. He strips out of the white clothing, before pulling on his gray army pants, and a black shirt that was a tad tight now. He looks toward the back of his locker, and his stomach flutters softly. A high tech rifle and pistol were hung by their holsters, just how he had left them.
He had clearance to bring weapons due to his military status, which put him at ease. He slung the rifle over his shoulder, and attached the pistol to his belt. He rubbed his face softly, before he heard the sound of more pods opening.

Sangue
The guard had been patrolling the elegant forest, and visited the tree of souls. He got down on his knees and held out his muscular arms, several blue items carefully drifted down from the massive glowing tree, before gently resting on his body. These items cling the the tree branches and were believed to be the souls of their fallen ancestors. Whether killed in battle or sickness, they were all buried around the tree for their souls to be forever placed within its leaves.
He could feel the warmth as he prayed in his native language, his eyes shut as he murmured gently. He was at peace, until a massive rumble shook the ground below him. His eyes opened, and the items gently lifted off of his body, and floated upwards and onto the branches of the trees again.
He growls, before looking toward the sky. He could see black smoke rising toward the lavender sky, and he furrows his brow. He shifts into his wolf form, his bones cracking sickeningly, and his skin turning black with thick fur. His paws landed on the ground with a heavy thud, and he shakes his now shifted wolf body.
Without another thought, he sprints towards where the smoke was, he avoids bumping the massive trees that trembles in the breeze as he makes his way through the kingdom's territory. Once he reaches a clearing, his Amber eyes fall onto the massive machine that had shook his world. He growls loudly, noticing some movement inside. Then the strange being was gone, and he begins to circle the contraption, sniffing it. It held a strange scent, not one of danger yet something.. different.
He quickly slinks back into the forest, and watches the machine for any more movement. This contraption resembles the machines they had spotted flying over their planet for what felt like seasons now, why had this one finally landed? Why was it here, and more importantly, what was inside?

Samuel Paul Anderson
Samuel had awoken from his long sleep. His body was so stiff that he didn't even want to move, but he had to get out of the pod. He pressed his hand against the glass and pushed, no movement. He pushed with more forces, didn't open. He brought his right, bionic arm back as far as he could and seemingly punched the glass. The pod cover launched open and almost off its hinges, creating a loud clank. He climbed his way out of the pod and did some static stretches before looking up. Something was off. In fact, many things were feeling off. The smell, the darkness, what happened? His first action was to go to the lockers where he heard some commotion other than pods opening. As he approached the lockers he saw another man who was getting their stuff on. Samuel walked up to his locker and entered his code. He looked over to the man at his locker. "You have any idea on what happened?" he asked as he grabbed his wrench and clothes.

Jaime heard nothing, but her own heart within her ears. Everything was clear and empty as if everything had stopped, yet, she was still there. It made her pulse rise and she felt she couldn’t breathe before bursting awake in a panic of deep breathes. Feeling her heart beat calm and her breathing steady, Jaime remembered where she was supposed to be. The pod she was in was slightly opened, though at least it was not shattered like a few others.
Shattered?! She thought with panic. If glass is shattered that means, we did not land safely and if we didn’t land safely that means we could be anywhere and if we are anywhere that means we could die and if I die I will never see my siblings again!! Her long list of thoughts rushed out of her as her breathing began to labor again. It took all she could to calm herself with reassuring reminders that they could still have made it on Planet Zero which meant there was hope and that she had a chance to see her siblings. But first I should find someone to make sure they know I am alive and that I still want my siblings here, she decided as she, weakly pushed open the glass. Luckily, hers was already opened or she would probably have not been able to open it with her weak stature.
Even though the glass was open, Jaime couldn’t really use her legs as they wobbled and she fell to the ground. Her heart rate was still rather high and she felt she had a major migraine now and she felt as if she was going throw up…. In fact, she just might. Don’t throw up…Don’t throw up… she told herself as she leaned back to stop the dizziness she felt which slowly allowed the nausea to vanish.

Just another day under the lavender skies that left the grey-haired thief feeling rather bored and slightly hungry, again. She had already picked off a free breakfast, but her stomach grumbled that she wasn’t quite full yet. Mercury resided on top of one of the merchant shops that she had been staking out. She had heard that this place had a beautiful and priceless iridescent jewel that was said to change into the color of the wearers soul. Only royalty was said to possess it, but her birdies told her that one might just be in the grasp of this merchant within the Nzuri kingdom.
She had been waiting patiently, watching trader after trader come out, rich person after rich person. She found it hilarious to watch rich people “act” like common folk to not attract the attention of people like her, but they were ridiculous. Mercury stretched her arms and leapt from the roof onto the ground. No one seemed to turn to notice the new addition, but maybe a child that pointed and yelled “kitty” before her child shooed her away. Yep, everyone was in her little illusion. She had precisely ten minutes to grab the stone and get out before someone was bound to find her off switch and call the authorities.
Mercury gracefully entered the room. In her mind, she was now a cat. That was the rules with illusionist. You must believe in your own illusion to a certain point and Mercury was great at living in a fantasy. She stayed close to the floor as she looked around for the jewel, but it seems that were ever it was it was not in plain sight. Clever merchant, she thought.
“Excuse me, sir,” her voice was tiny just like when she was younger. The merchant looked down at the little grey haired girl, who appeared to be dressed in rather expensive clothing. In the merchant’s eyes, he saw money even if she was only a small child.
“What can I do you for, young lady?” Mercury brought out what appeared to be a large bag of money that seemed too heavy for the young child to carry.
“My mother is sick and I wanted to get her a special present one that shows her how much I love her. I read in a book there was a stone that could do that. Is that true?” the merchant was too distracted by the promise of money that he didn’t realize how suspicious the story sounded.
“Yes. I have just the stone,” He began as he reached under the counter and seemed to unlock something from beneath. Bringing out a small, black box. The merchant motioned with his hands making the curtains close and lock behind her.
“This is a very special stone that can show you what is inside, but I fear it cost more than what you have little girl,” he informed her as he showed her the jewel inside. It was clear as if untainted. It reflected the blackness of the box. through it, but it was obvious it held no color itself. Mercury wasn’t sure if it was the real thing, but her time was running out so she decided to just go ahead and offer all her “money” to the merchant.
“I have more!” she started pulling out many bags filled with glimmering coins that made the merchant’s mouth water.
“Will this be enough?” she asked as she waited patiently now with all her supposed “money” upon the counter. The merchant seemed to be thinking for a second and she knew that he planned on robbing her later, though he had no idea what he was dealing with. To think he thinks he can outsmart an A class thief, she thought to herself and tried to restrain from laughing.
“I’ll tell you what, you can have the jewel for that much if it means your mother will be happy,” the merchant’s words were filled with fake sincerity as Mercury happily took the gem.
“Oh thank you sir!!” she exclaimed as the merchant allowed the curtains to be opened again and she left the room. Times up, she informed herself as she quickly walked through the stalls. She could already tell he had people following her, but it was time for the illusion to break. In an instant, the money that had been on the counter would of became just nuts and Mercury was once again her normal size. Stuffing the gem into her pocket, she pulled her hood up before hearing the que to run.
“The Coyote!! She has stolen from me!” Mercury darted through the stalls as guards were already on her heels. She liked that this trading hub was right at the edge of one end of the city as it was an easy escape. They should really rethink their game plan, she thought as she weaved, trying to dodge the incoming guards. These guys are such a hassle, she grumbled before pulling herself up on the roof and disappearing into another illusion until she was well over the kingdom wall and safe. She could hear the guards yelling to look for anything with grey hair or fur and grey eyes. Sorry to anyone that looks like that, she thought, though her sympathy was short lived as she headed towards the outskirts.
Mercury pulled the gem from her pocket to examine it, but was forced to quickly put it back up when she heard a growl not too far off from where she was. There was no telling what it was, though she hoped it was merely an actual animal and not a guard on the loose. Sneaking about behind trees, Mercury made her way towards the sound thinking it was best to see what she is up against instead of being the one in the unknown. She soon came upon something curious as her grey eyes took in the site. It is just like one of those flying things I have heard has been circling our planet, she thought and she started to move forward until she noticed a black wolf circling it. Guard! Mercury thought, a little irritated as she decided it was best to wait until he was gone before she did her own exploring and she quickly climbed into a nearby tree to watch.

"Sleep is a fickle and mysterious thing, especially when it is induced through cryostasis," Lucille thought as she walked among the flower garden she had planted in her mind. Lucid dreaming was a useful skill to have when you are being made to sleep for the next 100 years on your way to a new life. It was not the first time she had this thought as she slumbered, but it entertained her to question what a "normal" way to sleep was. She gazed upwards as she sat down in the soft grass, her dream sky filled with a hundred million stars and nebula. A faint smile played across her lips as she wondered if her new home would have a sky similar to the one she had made when it flickered. Like candles being snuffed out by a cruel hand the stars began to quickly wink out of existence, the bright lights of countless imaginary suns gone. She came to her feet quickly, fear and confusion evident on her face as she spun around, her soft, chestnut hair whipping around as she saw the Eden she had made vanish, replaced only with darkness.
Ever so slowly a pinprick of light appeared, as if someone had lit a match miles away. Despite her best efforts she felt her self draw closer to the ever growing light as it grew in front of her, erasing the peace her mind had brought her. As she came too her senses were flooded, a loud, annoying ringing assaulted her ears as her eyes were briefly blinded by dim light, the smell of smoke and fire strong in her nose. She moved a hand in front of her eyes, trying to allow them to adjust to being open again as she retraced what had lead to this bizarre moment in her mind. As she inhaled new, foreign oxygen she would begin to cough, hacking up the stale spaceship air that resided in her lungs. She instinctively moved forward, stopped by a clear glass shield in front of her. The pod door. She pushed against the fractured glass and it slid, a harsh screech slicing through the air as it dragged its way across the track. Lucille stumbled out of the pod still coughing, immediately having to lean against the nearest object as her legs readjusted to having her weight upon them and as a support as she caught her breath. She straightened slowly, noticing that the pod she leaned against was open and empty. Turning around she noted two more open pods as well as.. A woman on the ground that seemed to be not very aware of what was happening.
Lucille rushed over as quickly as her legs would allow her to, which was about the pace of a casual walk. Dropping to her knees she would place a hand on the female's back, giving her a slight shake. "Hello? Are you alright? Do you need help?" The questions came in rapid fire as she looked the woman over in concern, her voice rough from not being used.

Callista opened her eyes, blinking rapidly despite the fact that it was dark. That didn't seem quite right... did it? If she was awake...shouldn't the lights be on? For a moment she felt fear twist in the pit of her stomach. Was she the only one awake? Had something gone wrong? Her fear was quickly diminished by the sound of people faintly speaking, and she sighed in relief. Everything was going to be fine, she assured herself. This was what she wanted, what she had waited her whole life for! Heck, she was over a hundred years old now, technically - she had a lot of birthdays to make up for. The thought made her smile. It was silly, of course that wasn't going to happen.
It took her a moment to gain enough energy to push open her pod's door. She guessed that was what you get when you've been asleep for a hundred years.
Slowly she lifted her arms, pushing against the lid...nothing. Frowning, Callista pushed harder, but still, there was nothing. The door didn't even budge, didn't shake - nothing. "What the hell?" she mumbled under her breath, pushing with all her strength. This wasn't right - the pods were supposed to be easily opened from the inside. She ran her fingers across the edge of the pod, her heart beat picking up in her chest. "Fuck.... fuck..." she said, beginning to panic. There was no way out. She began slamming her fists against the glass, hoping someone was close enough to hear her. "Hey! HEY!!" she screamed. She had come here for adventure, but not like this. What if others were stuck? What if no one ever got to her?
It was then she noticed the crack in the glass. "Oh no..." she said. That couldn't be good. Cracked glass could only mean something had gone wrong. Their landing wasn't perfect. Things hadn't gone as planned. As she continued to bang on the glass, an image of her parents popped into her mind. She had left them all for this. They were dead now, and she was in this situation? THIS was what she had to show for herself? She felt like a knife was cutting into her stomach, and tears began to well in her eyes. "Don't cry, this isn't over, don't cry," she said through gritted teeth. It was too early for water works, no one had even tried to rescue her yet.

Oliver Mordecai "Olli"
2024
"No! No! No!" I won't let them lock me in here, not without my father. Dad. Why does he have to stay behind? Its not fair! Oliver began screaming at the men in the white suits, telling them to stop as they pushed him into a cold pod. "Why are you doing this? Its cold!" He always hated the cold, ironically, he was about to be frozen. His attempts were futile, he knew this, but tried to push it out of his mind. Luckily he did pack his camera in the locker, his nerves seemed to just get to him at the last minute. Oliver calmed himself by closing his eyes as the pod door closed with a hiss. This was it, a 100 year nap...
2124
Cold. All Oliver felt was cold, all he saw was darkness. He began coughing, violently. His coughing fir went on fer what felt like a minute. A flood of memories began flowing into his head, he remembered where he was. "Oh god..." Oliver said to himself, he still couldn't see. It felt like his eyelids were frozen shut, it took many minutes of pain to pry them open. Looking down at his body, he noticed a faint layer of ice covering him, making racing noises with every move he made. along with the noise, came stiffness. He felt so rigid and stiff, almost as if he was a thirsty statute, meant to stand in the cold day in and day out, unable to move but craving something to drink. The only difference between the statue and himself was that he wasn't actually thirst. Cyro sleep was said to keep its Sleepers alive, and it did. Its like his body was frozen in time, no need for daily human needs like using the restroom or eating, he was just fine!
He only basked in the amazement, and discomfort, of being cyro frozen for a short while before the nausea kicked it. Oliver began to hyperventilate, he needed to be in a more open environment. He began to push the pod door open, but it quickly shattered against his weight, which was odd because he was a fairly light guy, but why it happened became apparent for him very soon. They had crashed, his pod's door was so cracked that all it took was a push to shatter open. He fell out of the pod when it shattered, colliding against shards of broken glass on the floor. his elbow was cut by the fall, blood began to show through the tears of the jumpsuit. "Just a tiny cut." Oliver said, reassuring himself.
Once he got his bearings, he noticed a girl panicking in the pod next to his. Oliver quickly ran over to it and began prying at the door. After a few tiring tugs, the door flew open and hit his chin with a loud bang. "Damnit, this isn't the time to keep being clumsy Oliver..." He insulted himself. The girl was crying, he assumed she was a little panicked, who wouldn't be though? "Alright, its open. you ok?" He said turning around assessing the room.
A few pods were open and he heard commotion from the locker rooms, had everyone already started leaving? More importantly, was it safe here? The strong sent of gasoline drifted through the room, there was a leak somewhere. This didn't bide well with Oliver, a spark could easily ignite this ship, we needed to escape with as many passengers as possible. Wait...how many passengers are there? Had it just been them who survived? Where did the other ships land? So many question ran through his head, this certainly was a curios situation he was in.

He always hated the cold, ironically, he was about to be frozen.

A few moments later, Callista saw someone - a boy - through the window of her pod. She screamed more, even though he was right in front of her. The hope he brought her made her become more panicked than she already was, for some reason. The boy began pulling on the door of her pod, and at first it seemed almost as though he couldn't open it. Her heart dropped into her stomach, until finally the door swung open, hitting him in the chin. "Oh THANK GOD," she said, stumbling out. She bent over, breathing hard with her hands on her knees. She wiped the tears from her eyes, regaining her composure. "Yeah, I'm okay," she responded, taking a deep breath.
Callista stood upright, looking around the room. It was dark, but not too dark. There was lockers in the far side of the room - she remembered from before her sleep - and people standing around it. There was tons and tons of pods, but it seemed that only a few of them had gotten out at the point. She bit her lip, looking at the darkened pods around her. Where they dead? Had they died on impact? Callista didn't seem to be wounded, but that could be shock. She examined her arms, her legs. Nothing seemed to be bleeding or broken.
She didn't want to be left behind - people seemed to be getting dressed to go outside already. This was what she had came here for, and she needed to stay with the group if there was some danger. And if all these people were dead ...well... they were all going to have to put in a lot more work than before. She wiped her eyes again and bit her lip, turning to the boy that had saved her just a minute ago.
"Um, thank you for saving me," she said, feeling a bit awkward considering she had just cried in front of him. She held out her hand. "I'm Callista."

He looks up at the man approaching him, he faintly remembered seeing him before they were induced. "Yeah. I have a pretty good idea, actually." He mumbles, before looking toward Jaime. He approaches her calmly, yet Lucille got to her first. He stands over the pair, his gaze stern yet thoughtful. "She will be alright, this is a typical side effect after waking up from the sleep." He looks towards Lucille, "Once you regain yourselves, change quickly. We cannot stay here much longer, if there are others we need to find them." He states, before his gaze lands on Oliver, he was bleeding from a cut yet looked relatively uninjured besides that. He was actually opening up another pod, once it opened a woman quickly leaped out.
He sighs softly, noticing no other pods had opened. He didn't look in them, he doesn't even approach them. Instead he walks back toward the lockers and begins to rummage through his duffle bag, before pulling out four magazines. Two for his rifle and two for the pistol, before attaching them to his belt.

Samuel gave the man a couple nods as he walked back towards the pods. Sam put his jeans and t-shirt on quickly and attached his wrench to one of his belt loops. It didn't matter where they were going or what would be there, a wrench is always a useful tool. It could work as a method of self-defense, or to break branches for firewood. When the man had returned to his locker to grab his weapons and ammunition Samuel asked "Have you stepped outside yet?". He leaned to look out the window and observe the beautiful scenery. "Amazing" Samuel thought to himself as he awaited a response.

Oliver Mordecai "Olli"
Oliver nodded his head at the girl that he just saved. She then put out her hand and introduced herself as "Callista" and took her hand shaking it. "Im Oliver, you can just call me Oli...all of you can just call me Olli." He said to Callista and everyone in the room. It was beggining to get a little crowed with all the new people, it seems that everyone was waking up at the same time. This may be because of the crash or because of the Cyro sleep time limit. How long have we been here? Oliver thought to himself.
"Once you regain yourselves, change quickly. We cannot stay here much longer, if there are others we need to find them." One of the other men said. Oliver looked over to find his locker, it was next o an already open locker that had the nameplate "Leo" on it. That must have been the man that just spoke. Inside Oliver's locker was a soft grey T-Shirt and a long brown overcoat that was dusty and obviously outdated to newer fashioned jackets.
He threw these on and picked up a complex looking pistol. It seemed to have glowing parts on it, as if it were from a scfi-fi movie. Its probably just some new weapon that the government created, who knows? Regardless it was very high-tech and probably didn't shoot normal rounds. Oliver has never shot a gun, but he knew that being on a new planet could have its dangers, so he took the pistol nonetheless.
After preparing himself for the outside world, he sprinted over to two women on the floor, one seemed to be consoling the other. "Is everything alright over here?" Oliver asked in his usual faint voice. He noticed the girl that was helping the other had light grey eyes, almost as grey as the jumpsuits that the new-wakes were wearing. Behind those eyes, he could see tragedy and sadness. This woman has lived a whole life and many more worth of terrible fate, and now she has a new one on a different planet. He tore his gaze away from the girl's eyes, he believed everyone's eyes hid a story behind them, though this was the most obvious one he had seen.

Callista nodded as Oli told her - and the rest of the people his name. Then, he went over to a girl who seemed to be having some trouble. She was curious what was wrong, but she seemed to have enough people coddling her for the time being. Callista wasn't really interested in coddling anyone at the moment, either. Adventure was in the air! She walked over to the lockers and walked down the line of them, looking for hers. She remembered putting stuff in her locker, but not exactly what she had stored or which one was hers. Probably due to the excitement before hand. She found her locker and opened it up, stuff clattering to the floor. She frowned. The locker seemed like it was stuffed now that everything had been jostled around and thrown to the bottom. She sighed, picking up her things.
She had packed some boots - the expensive kind that you have to break in. She took those out, setting them on the ground next to her. Next she took out some cargo pants, for their pockets, and a black t-shirt. She was already wearing a tank top, which was just as clean as when she had put it on a hundred years ago. She changed quickly, not caring if anyone saw her bare legs. That kind of thing didn't seem to matter anymore, or at least not at the moment. She tied up her laces and grabbed her back pack and her gun, the last thing in her locker. The backpack had a few water bottles, snacks, and a long - sleeve shirt, in case it happened to be chilly. She had been told that it wouldn't be super cold on this planet, and she hoped it was true. She didn't really have the space to bring a heavy coat. Callista had been relieved they were allowed to bring their own guns. Sure, there were some cooler things on the market, but her pistol did the job, and it did it well. It was strong and fairly fast, and it hadn't let her down yet.
Closing her locker, Callista turned around to the room. She walked over to the window where someone else was standing. "It's amazing, isn't it?" she mumbled. The colors reminded her of being underwater, in a way, and that spark of curiosity hit her again, like it did before she left earth. It hit like a brick, terrifying and exciting.

Samuel was in such a deep stare at the scene that when someone had spoke next to him he jumped. Regaining himself, he chuckled. The woman was right, the site was amazing. "Yeah, it's beautiful. The mixture of such vibrant colors like the blues and pinks with the duller blues and purples just work so well. Don't you think so?" he said going back to the forest. It was like a fantasy came true. The colors were so beautiful. Samuel loved the color blue, any shade of it. It can make something look intense and it could make something look sweet and kind as well. One thing Samuel couldn't wait for was to get outside and explore.

He hesitated slightly, before zipping up his duffle bag. "Technically, you can say I was outside." He watches Samuel approach the window, and a woman he now knew as Callista, join him.
He raises an eyebrow before standing up and joining them, shaking his head slightly. "Don't be too in awe now." He begins steadily, "whatever is out there, knows we are here. I'll be the first to tell you know, they are pissed." He finishes, having spoken loud enough for everyone to hear. "I'm not going to lie to you like everyone else did, something is living on this planet. It's huge, and it sounds very unhappy." He says calmly. "If these creatures approach us, do not shoot. Do not run, just stand your ground. They will tear us all apart like chew toys if we threaten them in any way, do I make myself clear?" He says, his voice holding power and authority.

Everything seemed to be moving at high speed around Lucille as she examined the fallen woman. Her head would come up sharply as a the sound of glass breaking cut through the room. She turned just in time to see a smaller person pulling at a pod door that seemed to be stuck with someone else in it. Before she could move to help the boy the door came free, allowing the girl inside to practically fall out. Lucille rose to her feet, looking around the room she had slumbered in for so long. Everything seemed so foreign, even though this ship corridor had been her home for the past century. "- good idea, actually" Without realizing it she had drifted off into her thoughts, tuning out the world around her. Feeling the blood rush to her face as she blushed she would clear her throat, focusing on the man that had appeared before her. "She will be alright, this is a typical side effect after waking up from the sleep. Once you regain yourselves, change quickly. We cannot stay here much longer, if there are others we need to find them." Lucille would nod in agreement, biting her lip as she thought about their situation. Why did so much constantly go wrong in her life?! Her gaze wandered over the remaining pods, and the people alive, milling about. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes for a moment, calming her mind.
"One action at a time, Lucille. Focus." she thought, he breathing becoming more regular as she exhaled, opening her eyes again with new purpose. Somehow without realizing it the boy who had opened the pod earlier was suddenly in front of her, wearing a beat up looking aviator jacket with a hand gun that seemed too big and complex for his small frame. She instinctively took a step back as he first looked at the woman on the ground, and then at her. Though young, the boy had a look to him that made him look younger and older, as if his youth had been stolen away. She sympathized with this young stranger, recalling her tragic past, drifting off into the nightmarish memories. Lucille shook her head, gathering her wits about her again. This is a new, unexplored planet that may be dangerous. She could afford the luxury of drifting off into the darkness of her past. Lucille took a step forward and placed a hand on the young mans shoulder, smiling lightly. "We are alright, thank you Oliver. She seems to just need a moment to get her strength back in her legs is all. It was thoughtful of you to check on us though. Would you mind staying with her while I change? I will be as quick as possible." Her voice was soft and warm, trying to radiate calm and comfort.
Without waiting for an answer Lucille would move for the lockers, finding hers in only a matter of moments. Quickly keying in her sisters name and birth date the locker would slide open, allowing her to take her possessions. She set to work quickly pulling what she would need out. First a pair of short, durable black hiking shoes. Not quite boots, but far better suited for walking long distances in a wild enviroment than normal shoes. Next were clean, pressed grey pants made of what had been a newer material when they had left, it resisted tearing and were water resistant. Then came a light purple short sleeved shirt, as well as a dark green long sleeved flannel. The last to come out was a small backpack, a reusable bottle filled with purified water tucked into a pouch on its side. Lucille smiled to herself as she slung the bag on and tucked the clothes and shoes under her arm, sliding the locker shut. It was fortunate she had decided that part of the new life she wanted to live was a more active one.
Looking around for a moment before spotting an alcove for her to change in she noticed people gathering around a intact window. She looked back to where Oliver and the other woman were, debating about heading back to them, or to gather more information to bring back to them after changing. Lucille decided upon the latter, ducking into the alcove for a moment before emerging in the clothes she had snagged from her locker, a small silver locket hanging around her neck as well as a survival knife strapped to her thigh. Clearly Lucille had thought about the most efficient way to pack, choosing to put the most important items in the actual bag.
She would cross the room quickly toward the group at the window, just in time to catch the man from before raising his voice for everyone to hear "-stand your ground. They will tear us all apart like chew toys if we threaten them in any way, do I make myself clear?". Stopping behind him she would clear her throat before speaking, falling back to her habits when she worked at her old job, trying to sound calm and confident. "I think that gets the message across rather plainly, thank you. But I was told that this planet did not have hostile life. Was the intelligence the government gathered wrong, or did they lie to us and send us to our deaths? Not that it matters much now that we are here, but it is good to be informed. To better prepare ourselves." She would move her stormy grey eyes to each person as she spoke before returning them to the man who had spoken first.

His dark eyed shift towards the young woman, as she speaks his eyes look her over. She has fair skin with eyes that were a soft gray, her hair framing her face elegantly.
Once she finishes, he nods his head slowly. "I know what you were told, and yes. The government did lie to you, like everything else on the planet. They haven't sent you to die though, contrary to popular belief. Instead, these creatures will not harm you, as long as you conform." He looks towards the window. "If anyone does the wrong thing, we all die, the human race then diminished into total extinction." He shrugs his shoulders slightly, adjusting his rifle.
"Prepare yourselves mentally, because physically we can do nothing here."

Callista nodded in response to the boy next to her. There wasn't really a need to continue, the picture in front of them said it all. She grinned, excited to see the new world that was in front of her, no matter what happened. She turned around as another boy began speaking to them. He had been there the whole time, it seemed, but she had somehow managed to miss him. Her grin faded quickly as he spoke, and was replaced by a look of worry. Why weren't they told this before? She would surely have rethought coming if she knew that there was things that wanted to kill her here. I mean, sure, some things were expected. Disease, predators, but she was expecting it to be similar to the predators on earth. That's why they would be sent here, right? She wasn't nearly as thrilled about something with enough self-awareness to be "pissed" that they were there.
She listened to the boy and another girl talk, and it made anxiety grow in her stomach. Anxiety and anger. "What the hell?" she asked, pissed. "I should have been told the truth. I had the right to know what I was stepping into. I left my family!" She said, angry. It was pointless, she knew. There was no one to be angry at here. Even the boy who seemed to know everything was surely not at fault...was he? She didn't know how he knew what he did, but it didn't seem like the right time to point fingers. She didn't want to make enemies before they had even started. She took a deep breath. "Sorry. I'm just feeling a bit anxious," she said with an apologetic look. She looked down at her gun before slipping it into her back pocket. Sure, she wasn't supposed to use it, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to take it with her.

He was always up for a bit of adventure and learning, but he had a feeling this was going to be a little different. He turned to the girl who seemed to have a slight panic attack. "Darling... wake up..." Nikki stirred in her sleep, her body aching in protest. However, a smile slipped across her face as she looked the beautiful woman next to her, her Luna. Her raven hair draped over her pillow, those dazzling grey eyes glimmering with content, and that nightgown-
"Nikki, stop that!", Luna blushed as she lightly slapped Nikki's shoulder. Nikki let out a laugh but then a couple of coughs. Luna examined with a worried expression before asking, "How about some breakfast?" Nikki nodded in agreement while trying to suppress her coughs, her lungs crying out for the oxygen that seemed to elude her.
Luna delicately slid out of bed and made her way to the kitchen, her hips swaying with the calm and grace of a ballerina. Nikki's attempt to follow was far less graceful as her body felt nearly too heavy to move at all. She had barely made it to the kitchen table before she collapsed into a chair, breathing hard.
Nikkei knew something was off as she pushed her suspicions aside. She had finally married Luna and left the Company behind. Everything was perfect. Nikki paused for a moment, puzzled and then chose her next words carefully, "Luna, baby, when was our wedding?" Luna stopped what she was doing and turned to Nikki, staring at her with a confusing mixture of fear and love. There was a long silence before Nikki began coughing violently again.
"Do you love me?", Luna asked,an urgency lingering somewhere in her voice.
"To the moon, my dear.", Nikki responded, after her coughing fit subsided. A sudden sense of dread hit her as Luna approached her quickly.
"If that's true, you''ll wake up for me, right?", Luna whispered as she rested her hands on Nikki's. The room dimming as Nikki narrowed her eyes in confusion. Her attention was drawn away from Luna's pleading eyes by the sound of their front door slamming. Heavy footsteps lumbered towards the kitchen, the sound of the gait all too familiar in her mind. "Please Nikki, you gotta wake u-", Luna's pleading was cut short by the loud bang of a handgun, a sound Nikki knew well. Nikki rushed to catch her love as Luna fell to the ground, a look of surprise freezing her features. Blood gushed from the bullet Luna had taken to the stomach, leaving a neat hole that quickly filled as her intestines fell into the gaping hole. Nikki frantically placed her hand over the wound, trying to do anything to save Luna. Nikki's head whipped around to the figure standing calmly in the doorway, "V-Vance!? How could you?!"
"Sorry lil' sis. We can't rule an empire with snitches running around. That's just bad business. You know this." He muttered coldly, his face calm and bored as he cleaned the gun of his prints, like he had just listened to someone's poetry reading in a empty coffee shop. As everything familiar started to fade to black Nikki struggled to breathe, coughing harder and harder as she struggled to breath, tears streaming down her face. A sob escaped Nikki's lips as she felt Luna's hand brush against her cheek. Nikki's gaze fell back to Luna, her baby blue eyes meeting grey eyes of her love, looking the glimmer that had always trapped her..
"Please N-Nikki... You don't have much time...." Luna choked out past her labored breaths.
"Go on, get! We don't want you around here anymore!", a voice echoed from the dark that seemed to grow ever thicker around her, leaving just her and her dying wife.
"J-Joey!?", Nikki stuttered, "Please! Don't leave, you're supposed to be my brother! Help me save Luna!!"
"You hurt innocent people with your dirty "business." No daughter of mine could ever be a criminal, so as for you? Well, I guess I don't have a daughter anymore, do I?" The darkness swirled thicker and thicker, filling Nikki's throat, making it hard to defend herself against the barrage of memories.
"Dad, please... no..." Nikki cried out, tears running down her face, falling into the darkness around her, vanishing as they left her..
"Killing people over money? I raised a child of the Resistance! You're just like those greedy resource corporations. What a disappointment." Her mother's voice hissed in her ear. The dark nothingness grew ever thicker, causing her to gasp for air that was not there.
"We're already dead, you can't save us Nikki! Stop reliving this nightmare!!", Luna pleaded as she was consumed by the nothingness, her voice fading, like she was far away, "Haven't you suffered enough!? Wake up!!"
Gasping for air, Nikki lurched forward, her head colliding with something hard. She opened her eyes as the 'something hard' opened and oxygen rushed in. Nikki's body trembled as she breathed in, the blood returning to her face and the burning in her chest subsided. Her realization of the dark ship was nearly instantaneous. Something had gone wrong and her pod stopped producing oxygen.
A panic ignited within as she stumbled out of her pod, her legs crying out in protest as they moved for the first time in 100 years. Nikki's body was weak and aching, making her movement slower than she would have liked as she barely managed to stay up right, moving past a younger boy standing near a girl on all fours on the ground. After a moment of confusion as she oriented herself Nikki headed straight for the lockers in hopes that her stuff was safe, collapsing against the metal as she fumbled with the code. After a stressful moment the locker made a soft beep and slid open, much to her relief. Rummaging through the clothes she had deposited, Nikki found the object of her stress, a pocket watch. With a click, Nikki popped it open to reveal a picture of her family from her younger years; and where the clock face should have been, a portrait of Luna gently resided. She took a few moments to breathe, wiping away the burning tears that had collected in her eyes.
Nikki closed it softly and tugged on the cargo pants and black athletic t-shirt that were nestled in the locker, not bothering to remove the cryo-stasis jumper beforehand. She slipped on her boots next, still splattered with the mud of earth as she had ran from her past. The pocket watch made its was into her safest pocket, where Nikki was able to keep it protected. As she then started to close the locker door something caught her eye, a few extra objects in the locker with a small, white rectangle resting on the top. She grabbed the small piece of plastic, turning it over. Her stomach flipped at the I.D.
Guinevere Garner, the woman who's identity Nikki stole, who had been the only woman in logs who looked anything remotely close to Nikki, also seemed to have been some kind of medic. SHIT, Nikki thought. her mind reeling. She shoved the I.D. in a pocket to hide the image of the real Guinevere before anyone could take notice. Sliding a large container out the locker a strap unfolded, falling as she freed it from the small confines of the locker. As she looked at the bag Nikki realized its purpose, A first-aide kit. She took sharp breath, thinking quickly I can be a medic. I've sewn people up before! Back home, I constantly fixed knife and bullet wounds, this really is no biggie.
Nikki closed the locker door and turned towards all the people, spotting only one she vaguely recalled before she was put into cryostasis. I can totally pass as this 'Gwen' person. What kind of con-artist would I be if I couldn't?!, She thought as she put on a somewhat, confident grin. This was her territory, and she as a pro at the game.

Lucille listened to the man admit the lies they had been fed before he casually started to introduce himself. She stayed quiet for a moment as the other girl there started to rant before seemingly to catch herself, taking a deep breath. As the girl apologized Lucille would give her a sympathetic look. "It is rather unfair, I know. We were sent here under somewhat false pretenses, but we do not seem to be fully under prepared." Lucille said, nodding at the girls gun and the other men with their weapons. She held out a hand, giving a small smile as she introduced herself "I suppose we should follow suit, seeing as we are all kind of stuck together here. My name is Lucille Everett." Her voice would raise a little as she gave her name, trying to let it be heard by the other two men nearby.
Her hand would drop quickly, the sound of another pod screeching open echoing through the chamber. Lucille turned just in time to catch another woman emerging from another broken pod, stumbling as she went. The woman seemed familiar, pulling at now ancient memories. Lucille had met the woman before they were put into the cryostasis, she was sure. Before Lucille could move to help her the woman was moving again, rushing for the lockers, opening one quickly as she moved her body to block the contents of the locker. Lucille gave the girl in front of her an apologetic look "I am sorry, but I must go for a moment. I sort of abandoned Oliver over there with that girl on the ground, and it seems that we have someone new to help. Would you mind sending over Sargent Marble or Samuel if anything new happens? I will try to bring the others over so we can stick together, once they are feeling well enough to travel." Without waiting for an answer she would speed walk over to the two she had left behind, craning her neck to look at the new woman.
Stopping in front of Oliver she would smile again "I am sorry to have left you here all of a sudden, but I am back now. Unfortunately I do have bad news. We were lied to. This planet has life that is potentially hostile on it, so we will have to tread carefully. I think it will be best if we stick together. You do not need to worry though, we fortunately have a man of military experience with us, and it seems most people are armed. Did anything happen while I was gone?"

Jaime hadn't had time to respond as everything quickly processed in front of her. Her legs still wobbled, but the confronting words of the girl and the more abrupt words of the other boy had sort of reassured her. The girl, Lucille as her name turned out to be, had left Jaime alone, but that was fine. It gave her time to process everything around her a little more clearly.
Jaime started to analyze those that were around her. There was a lot of fear, worry, confusion, and impatience among the ones that had awoke. Jaime shuttered at the thought that some might not ever awake and even more so when she realized there were only five of them on an unknown planet that was said to be deserted. She knew it was illogical for those on Earth to really think this place was really void of life when it was so perfectly suitable for them.
Having assessed her situation, Jaime pushed herself up. Her legs didn't crumble this time, but they started to bite from sleepiness. The others around her seemed so busy, most of them, as they recited their names. Should I say my own? She wondered, but she felt awkward in pushing herself into their conversation. She at least wanted to thank Lucille, but she found that, though she could stand, her feet did not move from where she was. Jaime side and resorted to just listening for a second longer to everyone's conversations.
She mentally took note of all their names. Lucille is the girl that reminds me of a fairy tale princess, Leo seems to be the type to take charge, Samuel seems to be a curious type, she thought as she appreciated his more playful personality in this tough situation. Calista seems like the type to survive on her own, and Oliver... He seems rather sweet and probably more like me... she thought as she finished her view on the others. She wasn't a great people person, but she liked to think that she understood a little when it came to the overall picture.
Jaime now was faced with the realization that she needed to get off this ship. She now waited for the order to move.

Callista looked down at her feet as Leo spoke to her. She didn't like the way things were but what was she going to do about it now? A girl who had introduced herself as Lucille held out her hand, only to drop it suddenly. Another girl came out of a pod, gasping. It seemed as though her oxygen had stopped working. Callista frowned. What if all of these people's oxygen stopped working? She looked at all the pods, then shook her head. She didn't have time to think about that, there was no saving them if they couldn't save themselves. Their pods wouldn't open.
Callista turned as Lucille spoke to her, and she nodded. Not that the Lucille heard anyways, she was already off to Oliver and the girl on the ground, who seemed to be regaining herself nicely. Callista walked over to the girl who had been rummaging in her locker. "Hey," she said, trying not to startle her. She imagined not being able to breath was about on the same level as getting stuck in your pod, if not worse. "Are you alright? Caught your breath?" she asked with a smile on her face. She wanted to seem friendly. She wanted allies, sure, but she also wanted real friends. It was going to be a lonely existence if there was no one to really talk to.

Samuel shook Leo's hand firmly. Sergeant Marble, got a ring to it he thought. "I'm more commonly known as Wrench. Please, don't ask why. Anyways, I fully agree. Anywhere would be more comfortable than in here" he replied to Marble. Samuel took his wrench off his belt loop and spun it around his finger. He was ready to leave. The world outside was beautiful and as long as the life here is intelligent he could reason with them. Turning to the girl who said she could work as a medic, he smiled. "Good. Cause my degree wasn't in Medical Science" he said with a chuckle. He was always a little bit squeamish, at the site of blood he would get a little dizzy. He shook off the thought of blood and kept a grin on his face.

Guinevere Garner
Nikki slung the first-aid kit's strap over her shoulder, hoping that she wouldn't have to use it anytime soon. The last time she was in a situation to save someone's life, it was Luna; and well, that obviously didn't end the way she wanted.
Suddenly, Nikki jumped at the sound of a young woman voice, someone who was approaching her asking is she was alright. Come on, Nikki, you can't panic over every little thing. No one here knows who you are, Nikki thought to herself. She made her best attempt at a brave yet worried expression, "Heh, don't worry about me, I'm alright. As far as nearly suffocating goes, I don't recommend the experience." She offered the young woman a sheepish smile. "Actually, I think I should be asking if you're okay, instead!" , Nikki laughed awkwardly as she gestured to the first-aid bag at her hip, "Since I'm a medic n' all..." She paused a moment before extending a hand and raising her voice to a more confident octave, "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Gwen. Gwen Garner. You are...?"
