person A is sent to escort person B to a neighboring kingdom.
person B is a very important person in their kingdom while person A is a knight who has sworn to protect person B.
along the way they deal through many trials and learn that they aren't that different.

Rabia waited impatiently in her carriage. She did not like being a bargaining chip. Recent tensions between their nations, and constant bickering between idiots at high posts ended up in her being transferred back into her homeland. She only needed to get home not dead. But from the rumors she heard, that was going to be tricky. Therefore she waited for 'The Kingdom's Finest Knight' to show up. She was not looking forward to dealing with the ego that came with that title.

Xavier strode up on his horse next to the carriage window. he knocked a few times and looked at Rabia. he awkwardly smiled and headed infront of the carriage and with the motion of his arm the carriage and his horse started moving. 'this is going to be a long trip' he sighed to himself. him and his horse trotted along ahead. he gripped the reigns tightly as if waiting for a monster to attack.

Rabia rolled her eyes. 'What? no hello?' she thought.
"Hey soldier boy." How long is out trip?

Xavier smiled and looked back "three days if we have little interruptions from monsters" he put his gaze infront of him. "I'm Xavier by the way"

Rabia opened the window that gave her a better view of the knight. "So you're the kingdom's greatest knight?" She raised an eyebrow. "You look kinda young for a title like that?"

"Whatever." She leaned back on her seat. Not liking how uncomfortable it was. Even if he did look like a innocent minded conscript, it didn't matter. The route was safe and secure afterall

Xavier became wary as he heard rustling in the trees. "please keep an eye out. if you see anything notify me" he said in a serious tone

"That's your job soldier boy." Rabia waved her hand. "I'm the cargo. And you need to get me home in one piece."

xavier sighed at her. he looked around as he rode still not feeling safe

"What? No polite gesture?" Rabia teased peaking out of the small window. "I thought you were a knight? Where's your honor."

Xavier tightened his grip on the reigns while gritting his teeth. ' royal pain' he mutters to himself

Rabiia noticed Xavier tighten his grip on the reigns. A malicious smile crept on her face, 'Oh. I think this trip just got a lot more interested.'
"So Xavier was it." She pestered, "Were you always this rude to authority? I can't see any high royalty crown you a knight with that attitude."

"i didnt choose to be a knight" he whispered and stopped his horse due to the fact that a large harpy had jumped out of a tree. he unsheathed his sword and got in a fighting stance

"OH GODS" Rabia closed the window shut. And huddled in the corner

Xavier slashed through the beast with his sword . the harpy fell limp on the ground. he tied it up and mounted it behind him on his horse. he figured they could eat it for dinner.

"I HEARD A NOISE! ARE YOU DEAD?!" Rabia screamed from inside the carriage. She had her magic on the ready, but was not confident in her skill.

"I'm fine. hope you don't mind harpy for dinner" he smiled "m'lady" he mockingly added.

"That's disgusting why would you-" Rabia snapped, but a more pressing thought came to her head. "We were just talking for five minutes. How did we get attacked so soon?"\

xavier shrugged "monsters dont care about time" he laughed "also i can fry harpy to perfection so dont judge until you try it"

"NOT THE POINT!" she pulled the window open and shoved out a map. "This is a route that was handpicked for my safest travel. They're shouldn't BE any monsters around"

"well its not my fault' he stated getting back up on his horse "anything else 'Princess'?" he mocked

"Yes." Her eyes narrowed. "Harpy's tend to travel n packs. soooooo..."
