We're dead. We're all fucking dead!
I don't know why I'm writing this, no one will see it... but if you do, you'll know more about what the hell is going on.. maybe.
I worked in a lab.. we were testing a new strain of Ebola we found in Nigeria on lab rats.. The subjects displayed symptoms almost immediately. They became lethargic.. not eating.. not drinking for the first few minutes. They just remained in a corner, eyes closed, very slowly breathing. Around the fourth minute they began to become energetic. They were running and running and running. Trying to climb out of the glass cages they were in.
Then came the aggression in the fifth minute.. they began to lunge at us through the glass around the sixth hour after infection. Biting and clawing at the grass until their teeth and claws bled... then the bleeding didn't stop. Blood slowly seeped from their eyes, mouths, ears and other exits.
We needed to test how they reacted to one and other. Two infected rats were placed in the same cage, but paid little to no attention to one and other. No fighting, no care.
One infected and one healthy rat acted much differently.. The smaller rat was infected, yet was able to overpower and quickly slaughter the healthy rat in seconds.. Terrified of these creatures we had created, we killed them painlessly with a gas anesthesia... but while one scientist was reaching into the cage, they came back. Fuck! How could we let this happen!!!
He got bit, and... and in minutes he was showing symptoms. We tried to rush him into containment but he got aggressive and attacked another scientist. We didn't have any weapons or any means to protect ourselves.. It became a bloodbath so quickly. I didn't have time to save anyone but myself.
Its been two days after the first human was infected, now I watch out of my boarded up apartment as those beasts kill anything that moves... I helped create this.. This is partly my fault that so many people are dead.
Emergency Alert said to stay inside.. protect yourself.. that the government would fix this... but the government created this.. this was our self destruct button and we fucking pushed it!!!
Trust no one.. Watch for the blood!
