Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

Regan looked over at a guy on a bike and realized it was Butch. She pulled her earbuds out and gave him a small wave in return then smirked a bit. "Nice bike you've got there" she said loud enough. Regan did think it was pretty cool, no doubt about that. She raised an eyebrow when she saw his bad arm from the fight earlier.

Butch was surprised she didn't just keep walking, maybe she needed a ride back home? It wasn't about being soft or anything; he just figured that he made more than enough enemies today. He pulled the bike a little closer and shut it off; taking off his helmet. He wasn't wearing his sunglasses under; so his red eyes, along with the black eye he got the other day were exposed.

" Wanna ride? "

He didn't even know how far or where she lived. It's not like it was going to be a hassle or anything though.

@FestiFries

She studied his face for a bit, looking at his red eyes and the black eyes. She didn't even want to ask how he got that so she dismissed the thought. "And how many girls have you picked up with that bike?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She slowly put her phone in her pocket, thinking it wasn't really a bad idea if she did get a ride from him. Her house wasn't too far away but she didn't really feel like walking either. "Sure, I'll take the ride."

Butch handed her his helmet, and quickly put on his shades; since he forgot. He thought it was funny that she thought he was a lady killer or something because of the bike; he's only ever really had two 'girlfriends', and they tended to mess around with other guys just to piss him off. He took off the bandana from his belt and put it around his head. He then started his bike.

" So... Where do you live? "

He started to slowly glide his bike onto the road when she sat on.

@FestiFries

Regan quickly put on the helmet then gave him the directions to her house as she sat on the bike. "It's a straight shot." She held on as Butch got back on the road. "So what was that fight all about earlier?" she asked curiously. "That guy really took a beating."

Butch smirked a bit, but then actually had to think about the motive for the whole thing. He decided to just tell her the truth, screw it.

" Guess I just had to let off a little steam... Didn't really want to hurt the dude that bad; he just had to use a damn chair... "

Butch started thinking about throwing the fight tonight. If only the dumb ass didn't hurt his arm, he would just win tonight, then go about his day like nothing ever happened. He decided to change the subject a little.

" If you were given a choice to help an old friend that would kill you if you didn't, or a new friend that could get you out of trouble; who would you pick...? "

He decided to ask for advice, he didn't really have many people with half a brain to talk to about this stuff. But saying it out loud like that almost made him sound stupid.

@FestiFries

Regan was surprised he was asking her for advice. She thought about it then wondered why he would even need advice on that. "What kind of crap did you get yourself into?" she asked jokingly, but also meant it a bit seriously. "I would probably choose the old friend purely to live. It depends what exactly is going on..." Regan knew that probably wasn't much help, but she was never great at giving advice anyway. "Why would an old friend want to even kill you in the first place?"

Butch was mildly irritated at her statement, but took it with a grain of salt. From a smart persons standpoint, she was as right as rain. Then it hit him; he could just call the principle and tell her to bet on him winning. He knew he could win, even if it meant breaking his arm in the proses. If he were to get on her bad side; he wouldn't be able to deal at the school anymore, sort of ruining his relationship with his old partner anyway. She remembered her asking why exactly he would ask; he wasn't about to talk about that shit to an innocent girl like her, she would probably call the cops on pure principle.

" Just trying to get idea's for the book I'm writing... The main character is in the middle of a huge dispute of interest, and he has to make moves in order to live past the 12th grade. "

After saying it like that; he almost made it way to obvious. 'What an idiot' he thought; how could he just start talking about this shit now? Hopefully she didn't realize.

@FestiFries

Regan raised an eyebrow, surprised that he was writing a book. He didn't seem like the type to write but she tried not to judge too much just from the way she saw him. Deep down, she felt like something bigger was going on with him but she knew better than to ask. It was none of her business anyway so she just played along with it. "Sounds like an interesting book. Maybe you could let me read it sometime."

Butch let out a deep sigh. 'Thank you' he thought, he was glad he didn't have to awkwardly explain himself anymore. He stopped at her house and lit a cigaret, holding it with his bad arm.

" You'll probably read it soon enough... Well, this is it right? "

Butch removed his bandana and ran his hand through his hair; then put it back on.

@FestiFries

"Yeah" Regan mumbled, getting off the bike. She looked at the bike and smiled slightly. She liked riding on it. It was a cool bike. She looked up at Butch and gave him a quick, genuine smile. "Thanks for the ride. And good luck with your book" she said, referring to whatever he was probably going through at the moment. She handed him back his helmet and walked up the driveway towards her house. She took out her house keys then opened up the front door, waving bye before she disappeared inside.

'She was sweet' he thought; even though he didn't like 'good girls'. He sped off and headed toward his apartment. Once there, he parks his bike and gets ready for fight night; he was going to win, no doubt about it. Even if it killed him.

((It's after school, That's kinda all you need to know lol. Butch kinda got into a fight; and has to fight tonight. Alex is going through cheerleader drama; and the girls are kinda just getting to know each other lol))

(Ah, oke.)

Syo emerged from the school, jacket tied around her waist, and her guitar case slung over her back. ''Man, it got hot all of a sudden..'' She mumbled to herself sleepily. That's one reason she hated warm weather; it always seemed to make her tired. Syo yawned, stretching, and decided to head back to her house. It'd get cooler outside when it got late, and she figured she could always go for a walk that time instead.

Butch drove up to the fight house; there being multiple cars outside it already. He turned his bike off and started to walk inside. Before coming; he did multiple drugs in hopes of him not feeling the pain in his arm, including Oxi. As he walked in, his two partners were waiting for him. Both now betting on him winning.

" Everyone but us are betting against you now Butch... Don't you dare disappoint me... "

The principle said with stern eyes. His old friend slapped him on the back and wrapped his hands as they headed toward the locker room.

" Hey homie, you got this shit man. Vargas may be pretty big and all; but you got heart! And... Craziness? Shit man, just do what you do best. There's no rules in this fight. "

Butch smiled, he loved no rule fighting. As he sat Butch down; he injected him in the back with heroin without him knowing. Butch then freaking out.

" What's wrong man?! You good?! I hope so... It would be such a shame if you lost... Since after that stunt you pulled in school today. Everyone's betting on you winning! Hey... If you were to lose; we'd make some big money!!! But don't tell mommy; wouldn't want her to change her bet now would we... "

His buddy walks out; and Butch falls to the floor, foaming from the mouth.

As Syo walked by, she heard something that made her stop abruptly. She listened, unable to identify the noise, until she realized it was the faint sound of others talking. She sighed and started up her walk again, brushing it off as nothing.

(Is this something Syo should somehow stumble upon, or no? 'Cause I'm not sure, I don't think it is, but)

(( You could watch the fight happen; since it's open to everyone, but you won't be able to enter the actual locker room. They are at the "fight house" which is in a ghetto part of the Washington state the school is from. It's not too far from the school though, so kids from it usually go there and hang out, watching fights. ))

(Ah. So maybe I should just pass it off as, she heard rumours about a fight going on there involving Butch and some other people, and she only just remembered it now so went to check it off?)

Syo sleepily made her way down the street. She normally took a bus, and only took this route when she was late, which, thanks to her forgetting her guitar earlier, she was. Her eyes drifted up to a building she recognized as the 'fight house.' She'd never been in there - not her kind of place - but she'd heard plenty about it. Ah, hold on a minute.. Syo stared at the building, trying to remember why she had a weird feeling about the place, when it occurred to her..She'd heard rumours that Butch was going to be involved in a fight there tonight. And, well, considering the kind of person he was, she was sure those rumours had some truth to them. Normally, she wouldn't have any need to go in there, but that was 'cause she never knew who was involved in the fights. It was always just random tough guys from school who she'd never talked to. She had, however, talked to Butch (Not enough to consider him a friend, especially seeing as he'd got pissed at her for laughing at his sunglasses in the beginning) and, hey, she'd never actually seen him fight. Could be interesting. She made her way there, but hesitated to go in. I mean, she had no idea what it was like in there. It probably wasn't the most welcoming place.

(Sorry if I have slow replies, I'm drawing stuff at the same time xD Also, you don't have to, but I might need a small description of the place, so I'm not just making it up as I go along)

Butch was able to awaken five minutes before his fight was about to start. He stumbles out of his locker room, shirt off and wearing black gym shorts. His feet already wrapped also. As he made his way into the ghetto like arena, he felt at ease. Even though he was f*cked up out if his mind, and barely able to function; it calmed him down for some sick reason. Nordic blood perhaps? Maybe he just loved pain so much, he loved battle? He walked out as the announcer was calling his name; playing an old school easy-e song as his entry.

" First up on the mat! Weighing 145 pounds! Your local asshole! Your good for nothing scumbag that rips the heart out of his victims! He'll steal your car, and he'll steal your girl!!!! BANDIT!!!!! "

Butch puts his right arm up, still unable to move his left. He probably hurt it more falling for some reason... What was wrong with him? What did he get injected with? He started seeing demons; everywhere. He looked down at the ground to avoid freaking out. They called in the other contestant.

" Last up! Weighing 203 pounds! Tatted up from head to toe! Bad ass mofo joe! VARGAS!!! "

Syo tried to quietly make her way in without getting noticed - she didn't think she'd be kicked out or anything, but the atmosphere here was kind of overwhelming for her, and the less people knew her presence, the better. She stood on her toes to try and see over the other peoples heads - and sure enough, Butch was there, along with this other guy. Maybe it was just her, but he looked waaay older than Butch. That, and pretty intimidating - she didn't doubt Butch could handle himself in a fight, but that guy..Even from over here, she felt nervous, for whatever reason. She watched quietly, taking note that Butch looked kind of.. out of it.

The crowd kept yelling 'Bandit' over and over. They really wanted him to win. Butch was extremely messed up, tripping occasionally walking toward Vargas. Vargas started hitting himself on the face to hype himself up. He then looked toward the crowd and yelled.

" What makes the grass grow?!?!??! "

The crowd yelled 'Blood, Blood!' And started yelling Vargas' name. Usually Butch would be talking shit, but he was too far gone. The announcer finally told them to start. Butch lowered his guard like he usually does and observed his movements with a smile. He punched Vargas in the face once, but it had little power. Vargas pushed Butch back, making him fall down on his back. Vargas jumped on top and put him in the guard position.

She watched carefully, wobbling slightly as she attempted to stay on the tips of her toes. Now that she thought about it, it probably would have been better if she'd left her guitar case outside, as the weight just made it harder for her to stay in her current position and still see the fight. From what she could see, though, Butch was doing pretty badly. And she had this nagging feeling that this wasn't just because the bigger guy - Vargas? - was tougher. He looked totally disorientated, like he couldn't focus, and his occasional stumbling only further proved this point.

And, as much as she didn't like where this was going, she knew she couldn't exactly step in or anything. The only option was to just watch, hoping he didn't notice she was here. Syo wasn't sure why she didn't want to get noticed, really. Maybe it was 'cause this place was really not somewhere she fit in. It was her fault, for coming here in the first place, of course.

Butch started laughing pretty hard. He managed to somehow reverse-guard Vargas. Butch then lifted Vargas' chin up and started punching his throat. Maybe the injection did him good? He was starting to see things in a weird way; he saw Vargas as a little school boy, and he wanted to rip his head off. Vargas grabbed Butch's bad arm and gave it a quick nudge, making Butch scream happily at the pain. Butch then headbutted Vargas and continued to punch his throat. Vargas tried to counter by hitting Butches gut/face, but Butch wasn't having it. It got to a point where Butch would spit blood back in Vargas' face; still laughing, still punching his throat. Butch then put his knee on Vargas' head, tilting it toward the left. Butch then put his finger in Vargas' mouth and tore it from the crease. Butch fishooked Vargas. Vargas grabbed Butches head and slammed it into the ground, hard.

Much to the annoyance of the person in front of her, Syo used the rather tall person in front of her's shoulders as a boost to see what was going on. Before she got shrugged off by the irritated teenager in front of her, she saw that Butch had managed to make a come back, but.. She frowned, watching the expression on his face. He looked..scary. Kind of insane, to be honest. He was still getting beat up, too, but at least he was managing to fight back now, although she couldn't help but cringe when Vargas slammed his head into the ground - it looked like it'd really hurt. She was pretty sure that, on instinct, she'd yelled out to him, but it didn't matter, seeing as the rest of the crowd yelling probably covered it up.
