Zori thinks about it before nodding. "Yeah, I'll have that then. I don't really want to eat too much right now. I know- shocker." He said with a laugh.


Solana leans against the door of her stall, wiping her mouth as she continues to cry. Her stomach grumbles more and she feels even more nauseous.


"I'll be out in a bit." She mumbles to herself. "I have to wait for Alex to wake up."

Lexi approaches Alex's room, she tears up seeing him bandaged up all over his abdomen. His face is pale, and his eyes are dull, Lexi puffs put her lower lip slightly, sitting in the chair beside alex. She takes his hand, he can't speak yet, they still have tunes in his mouth to help him breath. Alex smiles lightly, and Lexi breaks down, she squeezes his hand and sobs. "I thought i was going to lose you, Alex! Im so sorry!" Alex shakes his head slightly.

Regan gasped and pretended to be surprised in a dramatic way. "You don't want to eat too much? What? Since when?" She turned towards the cashier when it was their turn and placed in the order, starting to get her wallet out to pay.

It takes her a few more minutes to force the nausea down. She finally manages and slowly makes her way out of the bathroom and to the waiting room. She doesn't know where Lexi went so she sat down, sighing. Her arms wrapped around herself as she thought of positive things. Anything to keep her from crying again.


"Thanks Reggie." Zori said sarcastically as he chuckled. "I just don't feel all that well today. Something's bothering me. Don't know what. Maybe it is just because I'm hungry. I don't know." He stopped her, grabbing his own wallet. "I've got this Reggie."

Alex frowns, his eyes meet Lexi's and she sighs. "I'll get Solana." Lexi stands up and walks out of the room. she beckons Solana to come, before slipping into the room again. Lexi smiles weakly, Alex was still pale but slowly getting his color back. "You look like crap." Lexi says softly, smiling half-heartedly.

Regan frowned slightly then reluctantly put her wallet away, letting him pay. "Are you feeling sick from last night?" she asked when she glanced at him, using the back of her hand to put against his forehead. "You feel fine." They got the receipt then moved out of the way to wait for their food.

Solana had been talking to a doctor when Lexi came out to get her. She smiled politely at the doctor before quickly walking towards Lexi, trying to avoid the looks she got from other people in the waiting room. She wrapped her arms around herself.


Walking in and seeing Alex awake made her happy and she smiled at him though she stayed at the door.


"Last night?" Zori questioned. "Of course I'm fine. I didn't drink enough to mess me up." He said with a chuckle. "I'll be fine though. I promise you that this feeling isn't going to get in the way of our day." He said with a grin, pinching her cheeks gently.

A nurse came on and removed the tubes from his mouth. He coughs and gags slightly, he wheezes and whines in agony. He whimpers, and looks to Solana, flashing her his handsome smile he smiled the first day they net, which felt like forever ago. Lexi smiled, "are you okay?" She asks Solana, she looked pale also. Alex furrows his brow slightly, beckoning Solana over.

Solana looks away when the nurse does what she needs to do, wincing at it. She can feel herself needing to throw up again but forces it back down. She smiles weakly back at Alex. Solana looks over at Lexi and slowly nodded.


Solana bites her lip and hesitantly walks over to Alex, sitting in the chair beside his.

Regan laughed and pushed his hand away from her cheeks gently. "How would you like it if I pinched your cheeks instead?" she asked with a small laugh, starting to pinch Zori's cheeks gently also.

Zori chuckled, ruffling her hair. "I don't mind miss Reggie. My cheeks are adorable and make me lovable. Bask in the glory of my cheeks." He teased, blushing a bit though doing his best to hide it.

 

[Tasteless]

Alex frowns, and looks away from Solana when he remembers what happened. He shakes his head, starting to feel like shit again. Lexi looks from Solana to Alex. Solana was so afraid to lose him, and now she wouldn't talk?


Lexi stood up slowly, "I need a snack.." she walked out.


Alex doesnt look at Solana, his eyes sting. "I'm sorry.." He says I'm a soft voice.

Solana doesnt say anything. Instead she takes his hand and presses a kiss to his palm.

Regan noticed Zori's blush and smiled, pinching them again. "Sure they are" she said sarcastically. They got their food and found a small booth to sit at. Regan sat across from him. "But I can't argue with you that your cheeks make you lovable."

Alex looks up at her, and squeezes her hand softly. He kisses the back of her palm, and leans back in the bed. "I wonder when I can go home.." He says softly, his voice scratchy from being silent and having tubes down his throat.

Zori grinned. "Ha! My cheeks are very lovable! I certainly am glad you think so. I'm just a lovable guy." He joked.

Regan rolled her eyes then nodded. "Sure, whatever makes you happy" she said with a small laugh before she started to eat her lunch.

Alex frowns, before lifting his hand and kissing Solana's, "I'll never leave you... i promise." He says softly, his eyes gentle and loving.

Zori chuckled. "I do whatever makes me happy. You don't have to worry about that." He said teasingly, reaching over and ruffling her hair.


His words only brought more tears to her eyes. She let out a sob, putting her head on the bed beside him and tightening her hold on his hand.

Regan laughed then looked up at Zori. "So what made you want to hang out with me today?" she asked curiously before she took a sip of her lemonade.

Zori thought about it before shrugging a bit. "I don't know... I just like hanging out with you?" He said, sounding as if he were asking a question more than stating.

Alex frowns and kisses the top of Solana's head. "I love you.." He says softly. Lexi comes back in with chocolate icecream from the shop sown the street. Walking in cautiously, frowning when she sees Solana crying.

Solana tries to calm herself but when she looks back up at Alex, her tears start up once more. She caresses his cheek before reaching over and placing a small kiss on his lips. Pulling away she gets up and quickly walks out the room. She leans against the wall, using it to hold herself up as she lets out another sob. She can't stand the sight of him in that bed... The thought of almost losing him...

Lexi frowns, and gives Alex the chocolate. "I think you need this more than me." Alex shakes his head, "no thanks." Alex can hear Solana crying, he looked like crap. Pale and dull eyed, nearly dead, getting a blood transfusion due to all the loss of blood.
