Realistic or Modern Warzone- The Alpha's (A methuman story.)

I’m thinking about taking teleportation. I have a few ideas for a bit of a get in get out infiltration, rescue and hand to hand expert. If that’ll fit in.

You did and i gotta say i love your character. Atori would probably be quite fond of him as well. Stryker not so much, but hey he isnt the big boss now is he?

Well once the backstory is done that is.

Btw a tip for all. If you are having trouble with your history keep in mind it can be both about the history they had before becoming an alpha and what they have done since.

As for the Age here is a table to help with that. The years are how long they have been reanimated as an alpha. Just add the number to how old your character was when they died.

A1=25 years. A2=24 years. A3=23 years. A4=22 years. A5=21 years. A6=20 years.
A7=19 years. A8=18 years. A9=17 years.
A10=16 years. A11=15 years. A12=14 years. A13=13 years. A14=12 years. A15=11 years. A16=10 years. A17=9 years. A18=8 years. A19=7 years. A20=6 years. A21=5 years. A22=4 years. A23=3 years. A24=2 years. A25=1 year.

So for example alpha 23 was 27years old when he died. He has been reanimated for 3 years so he is 30 years old in actual age give or take a week or two.

I saw you mention that the RP is going to develop, Stryker seems to have some "futuristic" looking gear... how far are we allowed to stretch the gear's believability? I ask because I have an idea for a character already but can't seem to find an image for her that doesn't break the realistic/modern theme

The year in the story is 2077. So we are looking at 50 years development. Balistic weapons are incredibly powerful now. Handheld railguns and energy weapons are a thing. Homing tank shells and bullets, vibrating knives, portable 3d printers and Shredders which break metal into power to be used for the printers. Hypersonic flight is now commercialized. Military has Ultrasonic (Mach 20+) vehichles. Space travel has made leaps and bounds as outposts have been put on the moon, and manned missions have established rudimentary bases on Mars. A manned mission to venus is currently underway, scheduled to arrive in 6 months. Forcefield technology is in its infancy but works. Portable radiation free Nukes are now a thing as well. There was a scare 3 years ago with a terrorist regime getting ahold of a few of them. But the alphas confiscated them before they were used.

I think I'll just have to draw mine... nothing is quite getting the point across. Also I know what I want my character to be but I'm having a hard time pinning it to simply being a "power". Basically they're efficient in long range CQC which is a contradiction I know. But her nickname is "The Butcher" she has two, almost sentient-like, cables that are attached to her suit; think Solidus Snake from MGS 2 except hers are thinner and are much faster.

I want her to have this wish for death - basically she's a bit deranged after learning she's actually dead and hates that her body was used like it was and wants more than anything to die. Which is where her nickname comes from... she rushes into battle like some kind of animal and demoralizes the enemies by sheer blade work and the fact that she just doesn't seem to go down. Not to say that she can't die but it's like she's got this miracle/curse where it's insanely hard to kill her.

What are your thoughts on potential powers she could posses?

Well all alphas already start with a base set of 7 augmentations from the mpdified omega serum that reanimated them.
Strength, Speed, Durability, Stamina, Reflexes,Intelligence, and Regeneration.

I actually do have a potential power for her. Adaptive regeneration. As an activated power it would be an at will activation and basically the way it works is the more of a particular type of damage you take the better your healing factor gets at recovering it.

If you take an Early Alpha that will give you years of adaptive regeneration to the point where fractured bones and ruptured organs wouldnt even really slow her down anymore. .

Atori could promise her "rest" as he puts it once the alpha prohect is "complete."

Alright that actually sounds really good, I'll keep her personality intact but change the power. Please keep her "rest" in-mind ;)
