Honeyfur

Honeyfur followed the other cats, her tail in the air, but stopped short when she scented MoonClan. She strode to the edge of the river, the fur along her spine rising slightly despite her trying to control her anger.

"Deerpaw." She said quietly. "If it looks like there's about to be a fight, you run back to camp as fast as you can, and you get more warriors." She kept her voice quiet, so only the cats beside her could hear. In that moment, she didn't care that Deerpaw wasn't her apprentice, she was the one with the least experience in battle. She stepped forward slightly, raising her head.

"Is there a problem?" She called so the other clan could hear her, her tail flicking slightly. "We're on our side of the border, as are you, there's no reason for hostility!" She continued, though her claws dug into the ground slightly.

"My soul be wild, but legs are getting old,"

The old leader let out a rumbling purr as he was greeted by his old friend. "Windstep, as pleasant as ever," he meowed before stepping down from his place on the overlook. He preferred to be level with everyone else once they all awoke. It was nice to be reminded that he was still an Airclan cat after all not just a leader.

"Ready for some morning patrols?" he asked as he gave a long stretch before straightening back up. "It seems most our camp would rather just let the other clans walk right over the borders this morning," he joked as he looked around the rather silent camp.

Spiralbounce's light snoring ceased as he could feel the warmth of the sun shining on his head as it slowly got more visible and warmed his whole pelt. There were some downsides about sleeping right next to the den entrance, such as getting stepped on and how cold it could get in Leaf-bare but he didn't have much of a choice. The toms nest used to be in the back where it was warmest but whenever he woke up first he'd cause a ruckus, step on tails, and crash into sleeping felines, He couldn't complain about his switch after all it was pleasantly warm in the mornings.
Still laying on his side he extended his long legs and gave them a good stretch before his large round green eyes flickered open and looked around. Many of the warriors were still asleep but he wanted to see if Wildstar had assigned any patrols yet. Normally it'd be up to the deputy to do this job but the leader had yet to find a suitable cat for the job.
Spiralbounce rolled onto his belly and hopped up onto his paws before pushing his way out of the warriors den. He quickly noticed Wildstar on the overlook and Windstep speaking with him. If anyone were to be picked as deputy he could see it being Windstep. The tabby decided to let the two talk in case they were speaking of something important instead of just butting into the conversation. He sat comfortably in the clearing and gave his fur a good wash.
