Fandom Warrior Cats; a new home.

SpottedPelt flicked her tail, "TigerStar, a medicine cat knows best." She narrows her gaze. "your throat will only get worse." she presses the subject.


RowanFur turns toward StarlightHeart, his pelt ruffles in the soft breeze lightly. He opens his mouth to speak , he had always admired her, then the black smoke caught his attention. the flames licked at the grass of the clearing they were in. "we need to cross the river." He looks to TigerStar.

 

[Jinx]

Tiger-star sighed he knew the medicine cat was right, he stood up and looked around the clearing his eyes clouded. He looked at his deputy as he talked and nodded. "You are right Rowan-fur." He said. "Is everyone fit to swim? If not let me know." He said as he made his spray to the river, but before he stepped he took a drink of water and his throat was cleaned of the sot. "Everyone time to leave!" He said as the fire rapidly grew faster into the clearing.

 

[DemonKitten]

Crowpaw shook his fur from soot. "Finally!" Crowpaw's eyes gleamed. He was excited about the new adventure that awaits. No longer would he live in the place he was treated like a defect. He turned to Starlingheart. Her eyes were clouded and he recalled his adopted litter mates. "They will find us," He nudged her and gave her quick lick and she soon perked up. "Of course they will!" She growled and swatted him playfully. "We must go," She meowed as they walked over to the others.

RowanFur looks toward SterlingHeart, and the others. Nodding briskly, he looks to TigerStar, "want me to carry the kit?" He asks gently.


Princess and SpottedPelt stand by the river. Princess remains quiet, her light tan tail flicking every now an then.

Bearclaw plunged into the river and began to swim across, carrying Spottedpaw by the scruff and easily keeping her head above water. Meadowleaf looked at Rowanfur as he gazed at Starlingheart, and a she cracked a smile. She had long known about his... Admiration, of the she-cat, and she honestly found it to be the cutest thing. Not to mention, she was happy that he at least had someone in mind. Unlike herself, she had never really found any tom that tickled her fancy, making her always believe she would grow old with no kits. And really, somehow, she was fine with it.


"Come now, everyone! I have found the simplest way to cross!" Bearclaw shouted from the other side of the river, putting Spottedpaw down well away from the water. Meadowleaf herself scoffed and plunged into the river headfirst.

ShadowFang carefully leaped into the water. Growling softly as he swam across.


RowanFur sat on the other side, he was always one to put the clan first, always speaking in turn and never creating hostility. He was just like RowanOak, proud, brave, and loyal.

 

[Jinx]

Tiger-star watched his cats cross the river, he nodded to Bear-claw his ears twitch a thanks. "Everyone hurry!" He called looking at Rawon-fur and flicked his tail. "Go, now." He said as he looked behind him to see the fire engulfed the clearing there where in, as the fire grew hotter he waited till all the cats had gone. His eyes teared as the fire grew in heat as it started surrounding his soon he being hidden behind a wall of fire.

Crowpaw approaches first about to leap into the river with no fear, but Starlingheart grabbed him by the fur. She followed Rowanfur into the river as Crowpaw grumbled in irritation. She ignored the apprentice, but his wiggling caused her to slip and almost fall beneath the water as she tried to keep Crowpaw a float. He gave out a yowl in protest as the water rushed over. Starlingheart was weaker than she thought and she could feel the smoke in her lungs as the water started to seep in.

RowanFur leaped into the river. His paws grazed the gravel like bottom as he pushed against StarlingHeart, helping both she and CrowPaw to the bank. The water lapped at his silky brown fur, yet he kept steady. He was quite a muscular feline. He looked to TigerStar, "TigerStar!!" He yowles, "Hurry!" His eyes plead for his leader to follow, as the flames grew larger and were quickly eating up the clearing.

 

[Jinx]

Tiger-star looked at Rowen-fur he waits till he is about half way across the river. By that time the fire was now all around him. He took a deep breath, he bunched his back leg muscles up about to leap. When he leaps he goes straight through the fire, the fire singing his fur. He lands in the water with a splash, he doesn't come up right away when he hit the water he didn't think it was this shallow. It took him a moment to kick his strong powerful legs to get above the water and gasped for air, but he quickly swam over to where Rowan-fur was.

RowanFur pushes StarlightHeart and CrowPaw up the bank. "Are you mousebrained TigerStar?" The large tom hisses through gritted fang's as he hauls himself up onto the bank. "Far too risky, TigerStar." He twitches his ears, clearly stressed at how close his leader had cut his escape.

 

[Jinx]

Tiger-star leaped up on the shore, he shook himself making him look like a big fluff ball. He looked at Rowan-fur as he talked, he sighed a little before speaking. "Rowan-fur, I'm sorry I just wanted to make sure you and everyone else was safe, I care about you all more than I do myself." He said, he shook his head. "You know your just like your father, Rowan-oak." He said rlicking his tail. "Everyone, we must find a place to rest." He called before he stood up, he looked at Rowan-fur his eyes clouded from the lost of many cats, "I really am sorry." He said his fur all puffed up and fluffy now.

RowanFur twitched his ears, flattening them against his furry head when TigerStar mentions his father. He flicks his tail slightly, "I understand." He says in a soft voice, avoiding TigerStar's gaze. RowanFur looks over the group for a moment, "this is abandoned Riverclan Territory. We can stay in the vacant dens, if bears, foxes, and wolves haven't taken them yet.

Shadowclaw bounded across the river, not bothered by the water lapping at her paws. She watched as mates helped carry kits across. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like to be loved.

 

[DemonKitten]

Starlingheart voice was raspy and she felt the dread in her bones. "Thank you," She meowed, her voice low. She was still bitter about the tom who betrayed her, but she tried to remember that not all toms are like that. Rowanfur always seemed like one of the better ones. He had always been a good friend and loyal clanmate. She felt sort of sorry she was cruel during a first realization of her ex-mate.


Crowpaw shuffled his paws embarrassed by his actions. "Thank you, Rowanfur," He said shyly as he nuzzled up to Starlingheart. "I'm sorry," He purred at her and she licked him on the ear and swatted him with her tail. "It's okay as long as you are still here," Her heart lifted a little at the reminder that she still had him.

Tiger-star didn't say anything, he flicked his tail for his clan mates to follow as he lead them to the old river clan camp. He sighed as he walked he knew he should've of brought up Rowan-furs father, Rowan-oak, but at that one time he was acting just like him. He shook his head, he was near the entrance of the old clan camp, he flipped his tail for the cats behind him to stop. "All of you wait here, I will go and check it out." He said looking at all the cats but Rowan-fur. He new that his deputy would have something to argue about him going in there alone.

RowanFur took a pawstep forward, his large brown and white speckled paws left prints in the damp dirt of the abandoned camp. "We shall go." The deputy corrected him. His deep blue eyes were not dull, nor dark with hatred toward this leader. He was protective of the clan, all of the cats.

 

[explosiveKitten]

Bearclaw suddenly yowled, "Ah! Meadowleaf!!"


The black and white she-cat was struggling against the river's current, and just as suddenly she swept away. The huge male dropped his jaw, before jumping into the river after her.

 

[Tasteless]

RowanFur flicked his ears back and gasped. He watched as BearClaw leaps into the river, RowanFur stands at the edge of the river, lashing his tail slightly.

Soon enough, Bearclaw crawls from the river a ways down, the female looked bedraggled with her fur clinging to her body. She coughed and gagged, Bearclaw laying her down and looking at her, "Meadowleaf, are you of good health?"

 

[Jinx]

Tiger-star sighed at what Rowan-fur said, he simply just nodded. "As you wish Rowan-fur." He said looking at his deputy, his eyes filled with nothing but concern. He took a couple steps forward and waited for Rowan-fur to come, he walked to the entrance but stopped hearing splashing behind him.


He turned to see bear claw drag medow-leaf out of the water.
