Warhammer

Cool and heavy metal units are the larger mechanical units for all races meant to be used in apocalypse games only. They include titans and units larger then monstrous. I only ask as they are used usually in much larger games.

Oh, Super-Heavy units. Yeah, those are more than welcome. I don't have the rules for Sisters of Battle, where are they located?

in other news, here are Necrons and Crimson Fists.

I have every Necron unit in there (I made them for an earlier game), but the Space Marines only have the basic Marine, a Sergeant, Terminators, Sergeant Terminators, Dreadnoughts, Predators and Land Raiders<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2011_12/Necrons_zip.f6572c3fef07336a527829e48b0da3ff" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="23337" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2011_12/Necrons_zip.f6572c3fef07336a527829e48b0da3ff" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p><p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2011_12/57a8bfb2db8ef_CrimsonFists_zip.4aa91a8502a33a1fe373724f0a12cf6b" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="23338" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2011_12/57a8bfb2db8ef_CrimsonFists_zip.4aa91a8502a33a1fe373724f0a12cf6b" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

God-Emperor suggested that the Enemies of Man be given more points to spend if the teams have an even number of players and playing up their animosity. Here's the current idea:

Enemies of Man recieve 8,000 points rather than 5,000 (ONLY if both teams have an even number of players). At the end of turn 4, all Enemies of Man factions become enemies if they have not already done so (to represent the extremely tense "alliance" breaking apart)

How does this sound to everyone? thoughts, questions, dissertations?

Sounds good, now I can understand, Chaos siding with Dark Elder, and Orks, maybe Tyrinades. But what use do Necrons have for Organic life? ;)

Now an Elder, Tau, Imperial Guard, (I don't think Space Marines or even the Sisters of Battle will side with anyone.) alliance sounds bit better but thats just me.

Space Marines work with Imperial Guard all the time. they both serve the EMPRAH!

In other news, there is another option for the tool used to play the game: MapTools. Both MapTools and GoogleDocs have their own advantages, so I will leave it up to you to decide

Google Docs:

Allows permanent unit grouping (maptools requires you to highlight units each time. not difficult but can be tricky in rare cases)

No download required (both are free, maptools is ~20MB)

Units can be pre-scaled (Maptools has easy to use in-game scaling, but is still slightly harder)

MapTools:

Looks better

Built in measuring tools (GoogleDocs requires ruler tokens)

In-game stat blocks

In-game die roller (RP Chat allows die rolling in Google Docs, but requires context shift)

I tested MapTools in a match against holy today and found it works like a charm. Since nobody has voiced any objections, we'll be switching over to MapTools for the upcoming game. I'll have the map done tomorrow and should have the server up several times throughout the weekend so that people can begin setting up. Hopefully we can begin this next Monday. Be sure to post your army lists here. We'll determine setup order shortly. The idea is to have one player from each team alternate, for example if the Enemies of Man get to go first:

Enemies player 1

Imperium player 1

Enemies player 2

Imperium player 2

Enemies player 3

Imperium player 3

We'll have the two teams roll off to determine who places first, then each team can decide player order amongst themselves (if a team cannot agree, roll for it)

And here is the map

standalone

The Red, Black and Purple areas are Enemies of Man deployment, the blue area is Imperium deployment. Grey buildings are height 2 (equal to most vehicles, vehicles can fire through but their targets have cover), red buildings are height 4 (only Titans and similar height units can see over), while the cathedral is height 8 (only a Warlord Titan or equivalent can see over). The light yellow section of the hill is height 2, the dark yellow is height 4. Grey buildings are AV 11, Red are AV 12. The Cathedral is treated as a close-topped Ruin. Units may enter through either the top or bottom, but skimmers, jump infantry etc. cannot fly in over the walls. Are there any questions, concerns or suggestions? For scale purposes, there is a 12" gab between the black zone (top right) and the Imperium area.

Both I think as the most experienced players of the game its self are on the same side. And The races they chose are very... One sided would be the closest thing to it. Besides the chaos of course.

Alright. Holy and I just rolled initiative. The Imperium forces will deploy first. Enemies of Man should sort out their deployment order amongst themselves and post their decision here.

Cool so i can just sign up now???

Sign up for what? There's no real big games going on right now, this and the campaign that was going on is cadaverific. I'm just saying that everyone who signed up for both this and the campaign would probably be up for a game, possibly.
