Fantasy War of the Magi (Private)

If you are reading this letter, then congratulations. You've been accepted into the Magi Arcane Academy. Please find attached the two maps of the location of the Academy, and if you cannot make it to the Academy then please go to the second location. The large field will be our meeting place for all students who cannot fly or reach the Academy in any way. However, any student is free to go to the meeting location to meet and greet fellow students. There, I, Headmistress Lady Red, along with Assistant Headmistress Grace, shall meet you all personally and take up all to the Academy. I look forward to seeing all the students there. For those who can get to the Academy themselves and do not wish to go to the meeting location, please head straight to the Grand Hall once you have arrived.

Note: Please try to stay discreet until you arrive at Academy Grounds.​

Prince Ali Sekhemi

Sekhemi looked at the lowly peasant who read the letter to him, staring at him with his cold, dead eyes. Sure, it wasn't really a peasant but that was what he called all of his royal guards. Nothing but mere tools to be used in his ultimate goal. The man spoke once more as he slowly stood back a little.

"So, Prince Ali Sekhemi, when do you plan on going to the Grand Hall? You can fly, after all."

Sekhemi's fingers twitched repeatedly as he stared at the man in front of him. He didn't say a word, all he did was chuckle a little. Suddenly, the royal guard caught on fire and began to scream and shout while the flames burned him alive. Within a matter of minutes the guard that was there became nothing but ash.

"You lowly, good-for-nothing peasant. I shall not fly, it is far too much effort for a Pharaoh!"

He clicked his fingers, and suddenly, a few guards came. They cleared out the dust then the guards picked Sekhemi up and took him outside. They placed him and his throne on the elephant's back then, and with that, Sekhemi and his lowlife peasant guards set off to the meeting point where he would meet these Headmistresses.

Pozuzy

Pozuzy read the letter carefully and with a small giggle, burned it to ash with his black fire. He then teleported to the meeting location immediately using his sin magic and looked around, so far, nobody was here which was perfect for him. He didn't want to miss a thing. There would be plenty of chances to play tricks on others here, plenty of chances to have fun. He couldn't wait! Once again, he took a look around before using magic to shroud himself in darkness, turning himself invisible.

Green

Green flew swayingly towards the meeting place. He couldn't fly all the way up to the island, his wings weren't strong enough to carry him. Besides he didn't want to. He wanted to meet as many friends as he could. He liked making new friends. It didn't take him long to arrive. When he did he looked around slowly. This place was huge! Green flew around joyfully calling out. He finally landed on a tree branch gently. He couldn't wait to start meeting new people and making friends. His wings were nice and folded, he waited. There was nobody else here yet so there was nothing he could really do.

Saber

Saber was already on his way to the meeting spot. He flew quickly going full speed ahead until he arrived. Once he did, he looked on at who was there currently, which just turned out to be a small green dragon. He sat down and used his familiar magic to summon a satual. He opened it up and pulled out his student diary. Saber began to read it, looking at the maps of the island while he leaned against a tree.

Manta

Manta flew gently with Neptune flying beside him, using his water magic to propel him. It didn't take long for them to get to the meeting spot. Once there, Manta called out loud for everyone to hear, making inaudible sounds. Manta landed gently with Neptune. Manta looked around the field, seeing that there weren't many here yet. For now, he wanted to see who would arrive.

He wanted to see who he could play with. He cast out his senses, closing his eyes. His feelers gently moved in the wind as he did. While he used his psionic senses, Manta waited. Neptune simply coiled around Manta while he left himself vulnerable, watching the field with his eyes while Manta used his senses

Cherry

Cherry read the letter and sighed softly. "Crimson, can't you get me there directly?" Crimson gave her a gentle nod as he flew in front of her. "I could, yes but I want you to go to the meeting spot. It could be the perfect chance to find somebody who can help you. Besides. Grace will be there. It will be polite to greet her early." Chery sighed again before nodding in acknowledgement. "Fine, but I'm not rushing. I just hope nothing goes wrong." Crimson landed on her head gently, and then Cherry began to walk at a slow pace. The location wasn't too far away, so a nice walk would give everyone else plenty of time to arrive.

Emperor Draco

Today was the day that the students would arrive. He knew of five dragons that would be joining the academy as students. Being their Emperor, Draco wanted to personally greet them himself. So he opened his wings wide and jumped down off the floating islands towards the meeting place. Then, when he got closer to the ground, he created huge gusts of wind with his wings as he landed. He looked around at the students who had already arrived, and his eyes stopped on Green, who was the youngest dragon that was joining the academy in physical age due to his slow growth rate and long life span. For now, he stayed in the back, watching the students and waiting for the other dragons to arrive. His huge stature and his regal air around him commanded respect and showed authority.

Andrew and Cassie walked through the portal. "Can you imagine what this will be like?" said Cassie. "A real magic school! It's gonna be so much fun!"

Andrew smirked. "Well, don't get overexcited."

"Hah!" said the phoenix Klarar, perched on Cassie's shoulder. "An unexcited Cassie? If I ever saw such a thing, I might legitimately think the world were coming to an end."

"I hope," said Andrew, "that you haven't forgotten about the war going on right now. The war between magi and humans?"

"Ah yes, that," said Klarar. "Really rather annoying, innit? Across my thirty millennia, it seems the one constant is that those of any species will find any reason at all to kill each other."

"'Annoying' is one word to describe it," said Andrew.

"Yeah, well, there's one crucial thing the humans haven't accounted for," said Cassie. "And that's that we're on the magi's side!"

"Actually," said Andrew, "I'd bet we're the two least powerful beings in the school right now."

"Raw power alone doesn't determine a fight's outcome," said Nina, Andrew's griffin companion. "Nor does it determine one's value."

Ruby

Ruby woke up with a spring in her step. Immediately, she ran to her mailbox and opened it to check if there was anything there. When she saw the letter from the Magi Academy, she excitedly grabbed it and ripped the letter open. Ruby skimmed it, only reading the important parts and focusing on the meeting location. Once she had finished, she created a blood portal and stored the letter inside. Once done, Ruby began to sing as she walked towards the meeting location. She wasn't too far from it so it wouldn't take her too long, which meant she could take her time to be carefree and enjoy the sights.



As she sang, her song magic would activate and suddenly literally everybody would be able to hear her sing, telling them that she was on her way. As she sang and walked, she gently picked a lily flower, smelled it then placed it in her hair.

Fern Thistledown

Fern was already on her way. She was sprinting through the fields and leaping over any obstacles she came across. She heard the song but she ignored it. She knew that she was going to meet many kinds of students and she figured that whoever sent that message was just one of the eager ones.

When she came closer to the meeting place, she jumped in the air then kicked out a powerful shockwave midair to propell her forwards. She landed on her knees, her fist punching the ground and making a small dent in the earth. Slowly she stood herself up and looked around. There weren't many people here at the moment. Immediately though Fern noticed two humans like students. Everyone else definitely wasn't human. So she wondered if they were taking a human form like herself or if they were actually human Magi. There was only one way to find out. Fern walked over to the two of them with a smile. "Heya. I wasn't expecting to see many humans here. I'm Fern Thistledown. Nice to meet you."

Skul

Skul had used his magic to lift and open the letter to read it. He quickly read the contents of the letter and once done he threw the thing away. "I suppose I could go to the meeting place, it'd allow me to see what students are there." He spoke to himself, ignoring Lyra who stood nearby. Quickly Skul used his Familiar magic to open a portal. He stepped through and quickly pulled Lyra along. Once there, he looked around to immediately see three humans talking. Sensing their soul, he could tell one of them had the soul of a Usami. The other two were human Magi. While he didn't like humans too much, they were still Magi so he didn't care too much. Since the three were talking however he decided to just listen for now while Lyra stood nearby obediently.

Fae

Fae's method of travel was simple. She looked at the map of the meeting location and focused on it. In an instant Fae teleported and appeared in the middle of the field. She looked around and already saw a few students had arrived. One of the ones she took interest in most of all however was the huge red Dragon in the back. She walked up to him and gave a friendly smile. "Hello. I'm Fae, who are you?" She looked the Dragon up and down. She had to admit he seemed to radiate authority.

Blue

Blue looked in his mailbox as Sensei perched on it. Looking inside he spoke in a confused tone. "That's weird, there's like, three letters in here." He grabbed the first one and opened it. Suddenly the wind picked up and the letter blew out of his hand. "Oh.... I understand why now. He grabbed the next one and opened it but before he could get to read it a pigeon defecated on it, making it impossible to read and vile to hold. He dropped it quickly before sighing. Sensei shook his head before speaking.

"Blue! Listen well! Insanity is doing the same thing again and again, hoping for a change. But true wisdom lies in understanding that to see different results, one must take a new path!" Blue nodded. "Right. Thank you Sensei." "One More Thing! You will achieve nothing without my intervention!" Blue nodded again. "Oh, right. Of course Sensei" Sensei quickly began to chant loudly. "Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao" The chant would ward off Blue’s bad luck for the meantime. As he grabbed and read the letter out loud, he placed it away carefully in his pocket.

Once done, Sensei stopped chanting. That's when the two of them heard Ruby's message that she had sent. "I guess people are already on their way. We should get going." He placed a paper talisman on the floor and Sensei landed on his shoulder. Blue quickly activated the talisman and the two of them teleported to the meeting location but the moment he appeared he noticed that he was slightly off, appearing above the field. He fell down as he screamed out. "Bad Day! Bad Day! Bad Day!" Blue landed face first on the ground before slowly picking himself up. Sensei simply landed in a tree with a shake of his head.

Gorath

Gorath was on his way, he had used his magic to build himself a little jetpack and was now flying to the meeting location. Once he was there he landed safely and took off the Jetpack then open a portal to his pocket dimension and threw it inside. Gorath sat down for the time being and observed.

Arthur

Arthur was sitting in his room holding his new shiny Demon blade thinking of the possibilities that cane with owning a prince of hell when suddenly a latter appeared after opening it and giving the content a quick glance he was unsurprised to see he had been accepted he knew that the Demons short distance teleportatoon was not well suited to a long distance journey and wasn't safe to teleport to a location he coukd not see even if a long distance jump was possible with a sigh he accepted he would have to travel there like a mundane human as he got up to leave he grabbed the bag he had packed the night before and took to the sky's and he flew off to the meeting location he suddenly heard a song ringing in his head he rolled his eyes wondering why anyone would feel the need to announce they had begun there own journey to everyone like that as he got closer he saw a small group of 3 humans and landed by them with a smile

"Ahh good there are people worth talking to attending this school after all i half thought I would be stuck dealing with lessor abominations who clam to be our betters im Arthur by the way and this here is Azazel former prince of hell turned obedient pet"

Azazel gleaned at Arthur before interjecting

"I am still a prince though I suppose the complexities of hells politics is to much for your pea brain to fathom not that i should be surprised that a savage like you has more muscle then sense"

Rose

Rose was sitting in her study revving her recent deadly failure of an experiment when a latter appeared in front of her she gave it a quick read, once she was done she packed up things and got ready to leave she walked over to the middle of her room and started writing runes down on the floor and started channelling her magic into the runes a large magic portal opened revealing a grassy field on the other side as she walked though it she took a quick around and saw a strange creature sitting by itself reading Rose the student diary Rose walked over and set next to him pulling out her own daily giving it a read in silence or at least she tried but a load song playing in her head interrupted the silence

Ruby

Ruby was camping out in the wilderness after a successful hunt though her prey was no mere beast it was a group of humans that attacked a nearby settlement after her brief but intense clash she was reminded that she still had a long way to go still had a lot of potential left untapped that's when a letter appeared in front of her she happily read it then slit ne of her wrists then swung her arm around creating a circle of blood as she was done the wound had already healed itself suddenly the blood began to glow and she was teleported to a vast open field she took a look around and saw a few groups already begin to from as she wondered what to do now she heard a song Play in her head she then walked over to a young girl and a large red dragon as she approached she overheard the girl introduce herself as Fae

"Hello Fea I'm Ruby nice to meet you and who might you be"

She gave a glance to the Dragon generally curious as a dragon this large had to be someone relatively important

Faeye and Drake

Drake was sleeping in the forest with Faeye sitting with her back against the large dragon using him like a back brace when suddenly a latter appeared in front of her as she read a song played in her head she smiled and used her soul magic to search for the traces of magic left by the spell then sent out a fun song for then to listen to on what could turn out to be a long journey



Though unbeknownst to her this song would find its way into the heads of not only the young girl who sent her the present song but also allows those who had heard the entertaining announcement of the sender journey once she was finished reading the letter Faeye got up and woke Drake as he rose to his feet Faeye sent her soul self on ahead to scout out the path as it was an ethereal weightless soul it didn't suffer form air resistance and could fly much faster then even a full grown dragon Faeye climbed on Drakes back and flew after her soul Self when Faeye and Drake had reach the half way point her soul had already arrived and was looking down from the sky at all those who had arrived allowing Faeye to see and hear everything that was happening it was then she saw a young drow fall out of the sky and land face first on the ground she thought to herself 'poor unfortunate soul' she shook her head and mumbled "so sad" after a few minutes she had arrived and decided to check on the poor boy who seamed to be in some pain and possibly in need of help as they approached Drakes large wings would block out the sun temporarily and as Drake landed the ground underneath them would shake under his immense weight then Faeye flew down form his back landing next to Blue as she did Drake shrunk and landed on Faeye his hind legs resting on her shoulders his tail gently wrapped round her neck and his fromt legs resting atop her head as he lay his head on them looking a little bored Faeye looked Blue over to see if he was alright and he seamed mostly fine if not a little dirty from the fall Faeye gathered up some soul essence and transubstantiation it into a little and water summoning a hot but gentle breeze followed by a stream warm water to wash away the dirt and dry him off in minutes

"Oh my that was quite the nasty fall are you ok umm whatever your name is I'm Faeye by the way"

Sabrina

Sabrina was currently taking a nap when a latter fell on her face walking her up she picked it up a little confused as to who would send her a random latter like that out of curiosity she opened it and suddenly it flew out of her hand and began talking to her in a load voice explaining she had been accepted into the magis Academy she rubbed her eyes with one hand and waved her other around her room all her things would sink into the darkness and soon she followed them and reappeared in a large open field everything seemed pretty normal at first but then she noticed a small demon hiding in the shadows Sabrina slightly moved though the shadow appearing behind him looking over his shoulder

"What are you looking at?"

Caleb

Caleb was currently still in heaven practising his magic so she would be ready to make a good first impression on his first day of school when a letter appeared in from of her she quickly looked though it to find the meeting location then defended from heaven and gracefully flew down to earth as she did she noticed another phoenix in a group humans and decided to fly over to join them during this time a golden ray of light would shine from the sky down to earth illuminating her decent that looked like a golden spot light shining on the large group all those in the area would sense the holy energy emanating from the light once she had landed the light would quickly fade Caleb shot a quick glance at two humans in particular one who had a demon as a pet and one that had a pet phoenix.

"a demon and phoenix both with humans as masters that's little unexpected anyway my names Caleb nice to meet you"

Dash

Dash was in his dojo getting some last minute training in while he waited for the letter just then his consideration was broken when that very letter just appeared out of things air right in front of him he quickly read it then packed his things and ran out the door augmenting his legs strength he jumped into the sky and as he reached the peek of his jump right before he would normally begin his decent he simply jumped again this time in the direction of the meeting location he continued to jump in mid air each time a shock wave of sound would blast out of his feet propelling him forward soon enough he was approaching the meeting location at an incredible speed when a sudden thought pop into his head in his hasty decision to rush to the meeting spot as fast as possible he had neglected to begin slowing down as he approached his final destination with a look of grim realisation on his face he braced for impact as he came in like a rocket as he picked himself up leaving a hole in the ground where his head was a few moments ago he looked around and saw a small group of humans and tried to laugh off his discomfort

Akumu

Meanwhile in Oblivion, Akumu recieved his own letter. He let out a thunderous laugh as he burnt it to a crisp. The rising from the pits of Oblivion Akumu summoned an Oblivion Gate. Back in the mortal plane, a huge Oblivion gate would rise from the ground in the middle of the field.



Akumu stepped out of the gate with an ominous laugh as he looked around the area. The fires of the Oblivion Gate scorched the grass beneath it while Akumu clicked his fingers and summoned a huge throne from Oblivion and sat upon it.



Drakthar

Drakthar awoke within the depths of the plague rotten dragon graveyard of rotting flesh and parasites. His four eyes drew attention to a single letter as the bottom of the flesh mound. He focused on it and magic surrounded the letter. With a quick tear, the letter was opened and Drakthar read the contents. Once he was done he set off, taking flight with his rotton flesh wings.

It didn't take him long to arrive. As he flew in the air, he listened to a song that played in his heard but the dragon ignored it for the time being. Landing in front of Rose, Drakthar took his time to take in his surroundings.

Radiance

Radiance was already on her way. She flew threw the skies with a blinding light as her radiant flames soared through the sky. As she flew she heard someone singing in her head. Once at the meeting place she landed gracefully then transformed into her human form. She looked around wondering who had sang the song but her eyes were immediately drawn to Klarar. "I'm glad to see I'm not the only Phoenix here. I'm Radiance, lovely to meet you."

Lilith

Lilith was sat in hell, sipping on the blood of mortals as she read the letter. Once then she stretched herself out and clicked her fingers. A portal opened up, Lilith transformed into her human disguise before stepping out into the meeting place. Once there she coldly looked around. Her attention was drawn to Arther, more specifically his sword. She could sense the evil within it and knew exactly who it was. Walking up to him with a smug expression she spoke, making sure to change her voice to fit her disguise of a young female child. "That's an interesting sword you have there." She spoke in a intrigued yet slightly curious tone.

Crimson Red

Red was digging into a human leg as she approached the meeting place, as she bit into it, some of the blood splattered onto her face and skull. Once there she looked around to see a group of humans. In a cold yet humorous tone she spoke. "At least I won't go hungry here" She took another bite from the flesh of the chopped off leg as she walked towards a corner to sit.

Tyrion and Oscar

Tyrion and Oscar flew together towards the meeting place. The song played in their heads as they tried to figure out where they were. Tyrion quickly paused however when another song played. Oscar was the first one to speak. "Tyrion, this could cause problems!" Tyrion nodded and decided to quickly deal with the situation first. Focusing on his Anti Magic and on the song, he weaved his magic into the song nullifying it.

Once that was dealt with Tyrion held the map in front of his face once more. "I think we're lost. We should of taken a right five trees ago. Oscar took a closer look at the map and pointed with his claw. "No, no. Look. See we're here. It can't be far now. It should be somewhere around here." Tyrion looked up from the map before slowly flying forward through a set of trees. He was surprised when he saw quite a large gathering. "Oscar! Over here!" He looked back to see Oscar catch him up and gave a knowing smile. "I told you! He rolled his eyes before shaking his head. He quickly saw Rose and Saber reading and landed beside them to join the two. "I'm glad I'm not the only bookworm here. Maybe there's hope for bookclub after all." He pulled out his student diary and sat by the two of them. Oscar, the young dritten gently sat down in Tyrion's lap.

Ruby

Ruby finally arrived to the meeting place, her head bobbing to the traveler's song. She looked around before bursting out into song. "Here I am! This is me! There's no where else on Earth I'd rather be. Here I am! It is just me and all of you! Tonight we make our dreams come true! It's a new world! It's a new start! It's alive with the beating of young hearts! It's a new day in a new land and it's waiting for me! So here I am!" She did a joyfull spin before giving a bright smile to everyone.

Blue

Blue was brushing himself off when somebody came up to him. With little warning, he was quickly given a forceful wash, luckily he was dried after, but still. "I should have seen that coming. Why can't I just have a normal day?" He sighed before speaking again. "I'm Blue, thank you for the shower.... I think?" Just as he finished, Sensei flew over and landed on Blue's shoulder. "One More Thing! I'm Sensei. Without me, Blue would get nowhere. Blue gave a quick nod to acknowledge and confirm what he said.

Fae

Fae turned to Ruby when she noticed her approach. She gave a friendly smile before pulling out a large Grimoire but this one was different than the first one.



"Nice to meet you! I'm Fae! Now, let's see. Ruby, Ruby, Ruby...." She flipped through the book a few times. "Song magic?" She looked to the other Ruby before shaking her head. "No. Definitely not." After flipping a few more pages she stopped finally. "Ah. Here we go. You have Blood Magic and Rage Magic according to my predictions." She closed the book then looked up to Ruby.

Fern Thistledown

Fern looked to Dash as he humiliated himself in front of everyone. Her nose twitched slightly as she looked to him, giving a small hint of her identity. "Oh, a Usami. I didn't expect to see any here. Nice to meet you. I'm Fern Thistledown. Are you alright?" She held out her hand, offering a handshake.

Cassie looked at everyone who had gathered around. "Hiiii!" she said with a little squeak. "I'm Cassie, and yep! We're humans! We're totally loyal to the magi side, though! Swearsies! And 'lesser abominations' seems a bit harsh, don't you think?"

"Well, it's hardly a cutting insult that'd make a grown man weep," said Klarar.

"Touché," said Cassie, playfully glaring at him. "But still."

"Hello," said Andrew, a slight bow of his head. "My name's Andrew. Cassie's my sister. She's quite a whirlwind, isn't she?"

When Dash arrived, Cassie turned to him. "Never mind embarrassing! That was totally a unique way to get here! I'd gladly take a messy landing for that! Especially, 'cuz I do stuff I should be embarrassed about on the daily, but for some reason I just don't feel that way!"

Andrew leaned in. "Yeah. It's both your biggest strength and also your biggest weakness."

Cassie shrugged. "Every weakness is a strength when you use it the right way."

At the Oblivion gate, Andrew and Cassie jumped back slightly. "Didn't they say we were supposed to arrive discreetly?" asked Andrew.

"Well," said Klarar, "some people need to express themselves in ostentatious ways, and why should they let silly little things like rules stop them?"

"Exactly!" said Cassie. "I mean, look at me! By the end of the day, I bet ya there's not a single soul in this school who doesn't know my name!"

"That's not necessarily a good thing," muttered Andrew.

Klarar looked at Radiance as she approached. "Pleasure to meet you as well, I'm sure. My name is 'Klarar'. It's not often one encounters another phoenix. One sign we're not much like humans, I suppose. The bloody creatures can't keep their hands off each other so if we were, the planet would be absolutely overrun with us. Never mind about all that. Are there many... phoenixes in your life?"

Cherry Rose

After walking awhile, Cherry and Crimson finally arrived. The two looked around slowly, it seemed Grace wasn't here yet. Instead they found a handful of dragons. One of them were undead. Surprisingly, there were also a few humans here as well. She honestly wasn't expecting any humans. She herself was the exception, forced to come here because of her curse. As if on cue, she heard Astaroth speak in her head. "Why did you bother coming here Cherry? You do realise that there is no saving scum like yourself, right?" Cherry shook her head. "Shut up asshole!" Crimson looked to her and quickly spoke up. "You uuh. You said that out loud." Cherry, realising her mistake quickly walked away and found a quiet place to sit by herself and watch the others with Crimson on her head still.

Wisp

Wisp floated through the air towards the meeting location while Mimi moved alongside it. When they eventually arrived Wisp took a moment to search the area. It's eyes stopped on Ruby, sensing the dark magic in her. Then it looked to the other Ruby, after that it looked to Sabrina and Pozuzy. After continuing to search the area Wisp's eyes landed on the group of humans. "Hello! I'm Wisp, I'm a.... well... I'm a Will O' Wisp." Mimi moved to its side and gave everyone a smile. "Greetings. I'm Mimi. If you can't tell, I'm a slime. Not just any slime too! I'm a multi purpose slime, so I can do anything other slimes can do, like absorb waste to clean the environment, purifying liquids and foods and so much more!" Mimi gave a little hop excitedly as she finished.

Saber

Saber looked up from his student diary when he noticed someone had sat beside him. He was going to say something but then looked to Tyrion and he mentioned a bookclub. "A bookclub? Huh. I didn't really think many people would be interested in books here honestly but a bookclub sounds like it could be fun. There's even a library that we all could go to in the "points of interests" section, though strangely. Looking at the older maps, there is some sort of abandoned castle that isn't part of the "points of interests" we could always check that out for secret meetings. Besides, as a vampire, it calls to me." He laughed and continued to read but made sure to pay attention in case they said anything else.

Pozuzy

Pozuzy was continuing to watch and wait for the perfect victim to prank when somebody came up behind him and spoke to him. He turned around, giving her an annoyed look. "How can you see me? How did you know I was here?" He looked back at the others before continuing. "For your information, I'm looking for someone to prank and scare!" He saw a few potential targets but he wanted to wait just a little longer.

Manta

Manta continued to send out his awareness and senses to the surrounding students, and finally, he found someone who seemed to be a perfect fit to play with. He opened his eyes and flew over to and then around Faeye. "Heya! I'm Manta! It is a pleasure to meet you! I am really looking forward to seeing the island up close but I wanted to make new friends before I flew up. I look forward to getting to know you better. Do you want to play?" When Manta finished talking through his psychic abilities he made his usual high pitched cheerful sounds. Then he flew in the air and began to shoot out bubbles from his mouth. The bubbles moved and burst creating soft raindrops which would make the the sound of music as they dripped onto the blades of grass. Then he used his psychic abilities casting them out to sing a calming, relaxing and playful song throughout the whole field.



As made little happy and excited sounds as he did so. When he finally finished he settled down again. That was a simple task for him. Water was his specialty. He could make water do anything he wanted. After all his species was in charge of purifying and protecting all oceans and seas. Neptune just watched cautiously and protectively. As he did he introduced himself. "I'm Neptune, Manta's Angelic Guardian.

Miarikia

Miarikia read the letter quickly and then gave a gentle nod to herself. She clicked her fingers and like magic, she was in the field with Flash by her side. She looked around for a moment before giving a few nods in approval. "It's so useful knowing magic. I'm never going to be late for class."

Flash stared at her blankly for a moment. He had to admit, he was a little insulted with what she had just said. Sure, he knew she didn't mean it, but it was how it came across. "Miarikia, even if you didn't have magic, you still wouldn't be late for class. Dude, you have the Flash by your side!"

Miarikia nodded to him approvingly. That was very much true. She yawned boredly. Finding an open space she clicked her fingers together and summoned her cauldron. "The potion is coming along well, it's almost ready. I swear, carrying all my ingredients in my pocket dimension in a pain. I'll have to reorganise everything the moment I get chance." She looked in the cauldron and stirred the potion a few times.


Emperor Draco

Emperor Draco looked to Fae and then Ruby who had both approached him surprisingly. He noticed that a few dragons had turned up though, he was certainly glad they came here instead of going straight to the island. Turning back to the two in front of him, he spoke. "I am Emperor Draco, the Emperor of Dragons and the Survivalist Teacher at the Academy. It is a pleasure to meet you both." He spoke plainly, making sure to finish this conversation before he went to check on his fellow dragons.[/b]

Radiance

Radiance nodded in agreement to him though she was caught off guard when he asked about her romantic life. She let out a cute laugh before closing her eyes and transforming back into her Phoenix form. "Why? Has my radiant beauty captivated you?" She laughed again before continuing. "That's quite cute. I must admit. To answer your question, no. There are no Phoenixes in my life, currently."

"Yes," said Klarar, "Well, perhaps I do need to work on being a touch more subtle."

"Ooh!" said Cassie. "Are the two phoenixes getting along?" She winked.

"Yes, yes, it's all very romantic," said Klarar. He looked back at Radiance. "Well, you've shown me yours, so I'll show you mine." He left Cassie's shoulder and turned into a handsome man in his thirties, wearing a suit.



"Suits me quite well, don't you think? No pun intended. I think it gives me a sort of quirky charm."

"Yes!" exclaimed Cassie. "You look like a professor from the 1900s! But like, the kind his students would secretly have crushes on!"

"Really?" said Klarar. "Didn't know you'd think of me that way. But, er, no offense, Cassie, but I was asking her." He gestured to Radiance. His tone was light as he said this, making it clear he didn't see it as a reprimand.

Radiance watched as he transformed and when she saw his human form, she gave a small curios nod. "Interesting. Not as radiant as myself, obviously but at least you have style. I can always share some of my radiance with you if it comes to that." She flicked her tail feathers up which caused light magic to shine down on her and add a almost golden glow to her flaming plumage. She then looked to Cassie with a smile. "I'm not surprised he's fallen for my radiant beauty, I mean, look at me! How could he not?"

Cassie grinned back. "I know, right? You look absolutely gorgeous!"

Klarar tilted his head. "Yes, you are quite striking. Though I admit, not having met another of my kind in centuries may have had something to do with it as well. And it shows what a hypocrite I am – earlier, I was talking about humans breeding like rabbits, and not even a minute into a meeting with another of my own kind, I go off and try to court her. But in my defense, romance is one prospect, having children is another entirely." He turned back into a phoenix and returned to Cassie's shoulder.

"Well," said Andrew, "I'm sure you two would make a wonderful couple."

Faeye

Watched Mantas show and listened to lovely song with a smile once he was done she reached up and stroked Drakes face as her eyes began to glow tapping more of his power she was going to need a bit of a boost for what she had planned

But even before she had stared singing Drake knew what she had planned and even though he was tied he raised he head and beared his fangs In an attempt to smile suddenly his eyes began to glow as well as the last few drops of eater Manta had created fell towards ground they began to glow then they rose up into the sky and span around them Manta and Blue as they glowed brighter and brighter almost looking like starts and as a gentle breeze washed over them the sounds of a melody could be heard as if it was coming out thin air Faeye continued to singe

As she continued singing Faeyes soul self flew around Blue as Drake jumped off Faeye as he began increasing his size turning back into a full grown dragon as he was getting bigger and bigger he placed his head between Blues legs as he continued to grow soon he had reached his full size with blue now on his back

Drake attempted to smile again "hold in tight"

while this was going on Faeyes own wings began to flutter as she took to the sky's and began flying around Manta like she was dancing she waved her hand over to him as if telling him to follow her as she did a large moon made of gold could be seen over there heads

With the combined power of Faeye her soul self and Drake they created a huge mass of water that floated around them almost making that small patch of sky around them look like a small river however they did not erase the clouds rather they continued to float on by as usual

Faeye and Drake continued to fly and dance in the sky as her soul sored ever higher

Arthur glanced at cassie with a curious look on his face

"Harsh? What's so Harsh about it humans are far more resilient adaptable and insidiously cunning then all the magi combined why do you think all of them have formed an alliance to fight them the Phoenixs and Dragon's even postponed their war proving they see humans as a bigger threat calling creatures that are beneath us lesser isn't Harsh it's simply a statement of facts"

As Arthur finished speaking someone rose up from the depths of hell and some else descend from heaven putting on a rather flashy entrance though in a way that was less surprising then the small boy who flew face first into the ground only to get back up and dust himself off like he simple tripped over Arthur rolled his eyes as he looked back to cassie

You see they act as if they are inherently more graceful more powerful then we could ever hope to he making grandiose claims like they are gods or Demons or some other mythical and mysterious race and acts like we should worship the ground they walk on without thinking or questioning the reality of these all powerful beings huddling together in fear if us lowly mortals and those of us without any magi powers to boot granted the magi tech that turns their own power against them is a rather terrifying invention and they are right to be afraid but that just proves they are not as all powerful as they would have us believe honesty i wonder if they are trying to fool us or themselves into believe this pretty lie of there's"

Rose
Rose looked up and listened to the two fellow book enthusiasts with a smile

"A book club that could be fun as well as educational we could read books for fun and study for our classes together we could make that library into a club room and set up a portal between there and the school"

Dash

Dach looked at Cassie with a shy smile appreciating her kind words then frowned as he heard Arthur's Harsh tone as he talked about the war so casually all while to Phoenixs where flirting like they where blind to the world around them

Dash then looked to Fern with a smile feeling a bit relived to see another young boy or urr girl either way another kid around his age was a welcomed sight but something seamed off about this kid the twitch if her nose the name Thistledown didn't seam very human like or at least it didn't based of Dashes limited knowledge of humans even her stance was that of an experienced fighter at this point Dash realised he was staring and shook his head as if shaking off all those strange thoughts

"Yeah I'm fine don't worry about me I have a hard head"

Dash then looked to Cassie with smile

"Thanks i guess but a unique like that isn't exactly discreet or painless for that matter hard head or not that was a pretty intense impact"

Caleb

Caleb face paled in shook when he heard that they where meant to be discreet he had no idea and now was wondering if he would be punished even before his first day of school officially began but there wasn't a lot he could do about that now he looked around to see if any teachers where nearby and let out a frustrated sigh when he saw Drako and mumbled 'yep he definitely saw me' Caleb nervously rubbed his head as he decided to walk over to apologise and explain himself hoping he would be let off with a warning once he had reached his location Caleb sheepishly looked down and spoke in a nervous tone

Manta

Manta watched Faeye and Drake excitedly and quickly joined them, flying an dancing in the air. He blew bubbles and flew in them, making melodic sounds. When Faeye finished he spoke through his telepath, using it to speak out loud. "Let me show you something special! I have all the knowledge and memories of my ancestors." with that Manta began to sing through his telepathy.



As he sang, he his feelers began to glow with powerful psychic energy and the world around them changed as he projected his memories. The scene that was created was an underwater majestic egg chamber.



Several Flying Mantaray circled the egg joining the chant loudly. The memory was so powerful and focused that it'd stretch across the whole field, allowing everyone to really see the Underwater Egg Chamber of Atlantis. Soon after, the egg hatched and Manta was born. This was the memory of Manta's birthing ceremony.

Saber

Saber nodded to Rose. "That sounds like a plan. He then saw how the field became a scene completely underwater. He looked around amazed. "Holy crap! This is.... amazing! It's like I'm really here! I can feel the water, smell the water, it is so pure and fresh!" the memory felt so real. The projection definitely had a lot of power put into it.

Draco

Draco looked over to Caleb and grunted in a slightly annoyed tone. "Just remember, in a life or death situation, announcing yourself like that will get you killed. So when your in my class, and I put your survival skills to the test, remember that."

Ruby

Ruby's stomach began to rumble and her mouth began to drool as the sweet sent of meat drifted past her nose suddenly remembering it had been a while since last eat anything she looked to Red seeing she was almost done with her meal

Ruby grew her nails into claws and dug them into the palms of her hands as she bleed the blood would gather up and form a circle in the air forming into a portal connected to where she stored all her things she reached both hands in and with a two sickening snap broke something free she then pulled out a human leg and ripped of the ragged cloth covering it with her teeth like it was wrapping paper and bit into the flesh as she pulled her other hand out holder another leg the portal closed she then walked over to Red and after swallowing a month full of meat she offered the other leg to Red

"Want some i have plenty left over from my last hunt?"

Sabrina looked at Pozuzy a little confused at the question then pointed to her eyes with a creepy grin

"I don't see like most people so hiding from my sight isn't so easy espespecially if your hiding in the dark"

Sabrina then looked past him once more at all the people gathering in the meeting place

"So someone to scare? Umm you looking for weak easy targets or stronger tougher ones?"

She didn't really care much just wondered what kind of demon she was dealing with those who targeted the weak wouldn't be any trouble for her but those who enjoyed a challenge might have a misguided idea that she could be a fun target and while she was confident she could deal with the little sin demon if he tried something it's best to get an idea of weather she needed to keep an eye on him or not

Fern Thistledown

Fern listened to Dash but before she could say anything Fern found herself under water. Looking around with mild impression she gave a nod then looked back to Dash. She noticed him staring at her and she gave a chuckle. "You know, this isn't my true form. If you're impressed with this, then you should see the real me." She closed her eyes and focused on her true soul. Suddenly, her body transformed in a blinding light. When the light faded, a large rabbit stood in her place.

She figured that people were probably going to find out sooner or later so she decided to reveal her form now. "This is my true soul. I was reincarnated in this human body when I died, but I regained my memories and access to my previous abilities and magic. What do you think?" She spun around swiftly before kicking the air. The power of the kick caused ripples in the water she then jumped and did a spinning kick sending out another powerful wave of water. When she landed, she transformed back to her human form.

Fae

Fae smiled brightly as Draco spoke. "Emperor Draco?! What an honor! It is a pleasure to meet you sir!" then all of a sudden, she got a terrible feeling. Something felt off, really off. Quickly flipping through the grimoire she looked at her predictions. "Uh, guys. Something bad is coming. Something really bad, and big and it is all coming this way!" Fae called out loudly to everyone so they could hear her, assuming they were paying attention. She pointed towards Blue, she didn't know all the details but the chaos was going to revolve around him. She could see that Sekhemi's arrival was going to be big, flashy and extremely chaotic. She didn't know who Sekhemi was, but it didn't look good.

Blue

Blue looked around, seeing how Faeye and her newfound friends apparently, began to fly and dance around him. "I've got a bad feeling about this." Quickly, he was forcefully set on Drake's back. He held on tight and screamed loudly. "Bad Day! Bad Day! Bad Day!!" He closed his eyes as he braced himself. When it was over, Manta began to chant and he was suddenly under water. He held his breath as he could feel and even smell the purity of the water.

To make things worse, someone literally pointed to him saying something big and bad was coming towards him. He lost his breath but luckily, he realised he could actually breath. "Why does this always happen to me?" Blue jumped off the dragon and pulled out a talisman with a rooster on it. "Rooster, power!" Quickly Blue levitated slowly and gently to the ground and safely landed beside the large group of humans, and apparently phoenixes too. He wiped his forehead with a sigh.

Tyrion

Tyrion nodded at Saber and Rose with a great big smile on his face. "Then it's settled. As soon as we get the chance, we should make an official bookclub. As our first act, we should check out the library." then all of a sudden they were all underwater. He was amazed but he was more fascinated by the egg and the ceremony as a whole. "Wow this is so cool!" His eyes shined, showing his fascination. Oscar then spoke next. "This is a rare experience. I never thought I'd experience such a vivid memory in my life time" He continued to watch as he sat in Tyrion's lap. He then looked to Fae, he didn't take her word too seriously, since the three of them were well out of the way from where she pointed at.

Radiance

Radiance laughed as she listened to Andrew. "Cute couple? I don't know. Klarar may have tried to court me, but he still hasn't dared to ask for a binding relationship. Besides, I will have to consider it before I decide. After all, we Phoenixes mate for life so it is a big commitment. If he impresses me enough and shows he is serious about such relationships, I may accept." She then looked around with mild panic in her eyes as she realised she was completely underwater though, the panic settled down when she realised it was only a projected memory.

Crimson Red

Red looked over to Ruby who offered her some more food. She took it and then, using her blood magic Red placed it inside of her cape. "Thanks. I'll save it for later. The name is Crimson Red" Red looked around seeing that she was now underwater, then looked to Fae as she spoke the warning but her face stayed the same. She really couldn't care less. She looked back to Ruby as she finished her meal then threw the bond to the floor.

Ruby

Ruby was just watching and listening to everyone although seeing that Manta, Faeye and Drake were all singing and dancing, she decided to join in. She closed her eyes and sang as she walked up to them. "Let me hear you sing! Sing it together, louder than ever! Forget everything, just sing! it's what we've been missing and they're gonna listen, listen! Forget everything, just sing!" As she sang, she put more and more passion into it.

Ruby started to dance and even spin. She cut her palm with her nail and used the blood to create pretty patterns in the water. "You think you've gotta hide it! Don't keep it on the shelf, let your waist start moving! Watch the way I do it, do it, see me do it like nobody else! If we sing it all together, if we sing it all as one, it's louder than yourself! All together, everyone! Everybody's lookin', see you lookin' now. Watch the way we do it, do it! Cause we do it like nobody else"

Ruby sang even loudly, using her music manipulation to make her voice echo. "Let me hear you sing, don't you stop it, don't you fight it! Let me hear you sing, if you got it, can't deny it! Let me hear you, it's waiting for you! Just sing! Sing it together, louder than ever, ever, forget everything! It's waiting for you!" When she was done she span around and cheered loudly.

Neptune who had been listening this entire time took immediate notice of Ruby and her song magic. With Manta displaying such a crucial part of his life, literally his birth, Neptune quickly began to focus on Heaven to cling onto his memories. He then used his psychic powers to strengthen the barrier around his and Manta's memories, making store nothing was lost while restoring any memories that had been lost due to the song. Once he ensured the safety of Manta, Neptune looked over to Ruby. "Be careful what you sing around us! Manta's ancestral memories are far too important for you to get carried away and accidentally erase all of it!" He hissed out of anger before coiling around Manta further, casting a physical psionic barrier around the two to prevent any more sound from reaching in. He knew Manta could still use his psionic abilities to understand and communicate with others if needed.

Faeye

After she was done singing Manta started singing another song as he did he projected a memory Drake now shrank again and landed backing Faeyes head after blue had abruptly jumped off Faeyes Drake and her soul self was enjoying the scenery and the music

just as much as the beautiful ceremony just then Ruby showed up and sang a beautiful song and then urr what was she doing again oh right Faeye was singing with urr with these nice strangers umm for some reason no wait who needs a reason to sing and dance Faeye smiled but it soon started to fade she didn't know what but something felt wrong like she was forgetting something forgetting herself but she wasn't panicking not really well not exactly she had an overwhelming desire to sing but something deep in her mind in her soul was trying to hold on to herself and some she sang the first thing that came to her mind as she did her soul self flew over to Ruby and placed its hand on her connecting them together allowing Faeye to borrow a small amount of her magic allowing every one to hear what she was about to sing

Dash eyes widened when he saw her true form he felt there was something off about her but now it all made sense or... did it what was he thinking about again suddenly he heard a song as his mind was getting clouded Arthur was going though the same thing but then suddenly some clarity washed over them as another song rang in there head there memories where returning but that wasn't all they still felt an overwhelming compulsion to sing and dance although Dash actually found it kinda fun Arthur was definitely not amused

Prince Ali Sekhemi

Sekhemi arrived shortly after on the huge elephant heading straight towards the large forming group of humans and other worthless scum. As he did guards paraded on the field, blowing horns as loud as they could. Then all the guards began to sing loudly. As they sang, seventy-five golden camels came on through the field. After that, thirty-five purple peacocks followed. Next were ninety-five Persian white monkeys. Finally, one hundred slaves were dragged through the field. All the while the guards were singing and dancing. The guards pushed Blue out of the way, knocking him to the ground, not even attempting to pick him up. The guard shouted out loudly to the whole group. "Move out of the way, peasants! Prince Ali Sekhemi is here!" the guards would continue to kick and bump into Blue as well as anyone else who didn't move out of the way.

When the whole song and dance was over Sekhemi got off his elephant and walked in front of everyone.

"Where's the Headmistress? She better not keep me waiting; otherwise, somebody is going to get hurt very quickly!"

He didn't care about one single person at all. No, he cared about himself not these worthless scum. As he waited one of the slaves came up to him. "Your Magi Tech sir" Sekhemi looked to the peasant and slapped him in the face, forcing him to drop the Magi Knuckle Busters. "Idiot! Are you trying to get me expelled? Magi Tech is banned here!" Sekhemi focused on the Knuckle Busters, and suddenly, they burst into flames, the soul in them quickly being completely destroyed before Sekhemi kicked the worthless thing away. "I'll use my non-Magi Weapons, Guards. Take him away to the stock holds." As the slave screamed and begged while the guards dragged him away, Sekhemi looked around.

 

Moon

Moon wanted to leave it to the last possible moment to arrive. Once she was sure it had been long enough, she closed her eyes. Karma, her wolf Manifested beside her then she jumped on her back. "Let's go Karma. It's time we arrived With that Karma sprinted towards the meeting location.

Saber

Saber listened to all songs by Manta and Ruby and he had to admit, something was taking over him. He opened his wings out wide and flew up in the sky before flying around in the sky as he sang.



It was then that Sekhemi came through, and that broke him out of the spell. He flew down, shaking his head in disgust.

Pozuzy

Pozuzy looked to Sabrina with mild annoyance before looking back to everyone else. Suddenly, he decided to just try and scare every. "I like a challenge!" He used his illusion magic to create demons, monsters and more as he and his illusions began to sing.



When Sekhemi came in Pozuzy looked to him and laughed, he would be able fun target at some point.

Wisp

Wisp listened to the song but before it could take a hold, Mimi adapted then absorbed him temporarily. "Don't worry, I got ya." the two then watched as Sekhemi came on through. Wisp really didn't like how he had all those slaves but there wasn't exactly anything he could do about it.

Green

Green who had been sat on the tree the whole time, was in a world of his own. When he heard Ruby sing he turned his attention to them. He flew over and landed on Blue's shoulder. As he began to sing, plants, roses and greenery all grew around him.



Cherry Rose

Cherry listened as Ruby sang, and for some reason, she began to grow increasingly nervous. She scratched the back of her head before singing to herself. As she sang she got louder and louder.

"I'll be the best they've ever seen! I'll make them so dang proud of me. It'll take some work to get to where I need to go but I'll be there before I know and it's hard and I'm tired but I'll work..... to get higher!" She started to walk through the field slowly then suddenly her legs completely turned to jelly and she found herself falling rapidly onto the floor. She pulled out her scythe and pushed herself back to her feet. "But it seems I've lost all function in my legs. Is this...normal? It's fine! I'm fine! Am I fine? I'm sure it's fine! Am....I going to die?" She shook her head quickly to try and clear her head then flew in the middle of the field with her psionic magic. She felt her legs come alive again she continued forward and gently landed on the floor and looked around at everyone.

She gave a sigh and thought it was best if she was just honest and try explaining herself. "I'm a wreck! I'm in a downward spin and I don't know what it feels like to win but they tell me "Just gotta put in the work, you'll be fine." And they tell me "Everyone falls down time to time." but no matter how hard I try there's this little voice in my mind and it tells me every time that I will NOT be fine but I'll be the best you've ever seen! It'll just take some work to get to where I need to go." Just then Astaroth spoke up so everybody could hear him. "They're better of without you, you know!" "Ooooh.....It's hard!" "Too hard!" "I'll work!" "Won't work." "I just gotta keep telling myself that I'll be fine! It's fine!" "Not fine!" "I'm fine." "Not fine!" "We're fine!" "Not fine!" "I'm sure it's fine!" "NOT FINE! You'll suffer and die!" At this point Cherry collapsed to the floor and slammd her fist into the ground. Crimson flew off her shoulder and landed next to her.

He thought that maybe it was best that he let her shout it all out. It would let everyone know exactly what was going on, maybe someone would know how to break this curse or even this spell. Luckily, he wasn't being affected. Cherry continued to sing in a sad, defeated voice. "I'm a wreck! And they tell me everyone falls down once or twice and though I try....and though I reach for the sky! There's this voice that's getting louder in the back of my mind saying "I'M NOT FINE!" It's screaming at me saying, "I'M NOT FINE!" I'm a mess, my life is an uphill climb, I get halfway up but I slip down every time..." Cherry took a deep breath then started to scream at the top of her voice.

"AND I HONESTLY DON'T THINK I WILL EVER BE FINE CAUSE MY HEAD KEEPS SCREAMING "YOU'LL ALWAYS BE BEHIND!" AND THEY TELL ME IT'S ALRIGHT, EVERYONE TAKES THEIR OWN TIME BUT MY TIME IS MOVING BACKWARDS, I DON'T THINK I'LL GET IT RIGHT CAUSE I'M LOSING MY OWN BATTLE, CANNOT FIND THE WILL OR MIGHT CAUSE THE LITTLE VOICE THAT'S SUPPOSED TO CHEER ME ON IS THE ONE I HAVE TO FIGHT!!!" She breathed heavily then began to slowly stand up. After taking a deep breath in she began to sing quietly again. "It's fine....I'm fine.....we're fine......I'm.....I'm sure it's fine.....I.....I don't think it will ever be fine." She took a deep breath for giving a long exhausted sigh. Crimson flew over to her and landed on her shoulder. "Hey. It will be fine. I promise. We'll get through this together. We just have to put in the work to break this curse." He looked at her worriedly before looking around seeing how everyone reacted to that, hoping somebody would know of a solution before looking back to her. Cherry just needed some time.

It was then that Sekhemi came through. Cherry was one of the ones who threw pushed forcefully out of the way and onto the ground. She looked up sadly but Crimson stared at him angrily.

Sabrina

Sabrina thought about Pozuzys answer then wonder who he might choose to target she even considered pointing out a few possible targets that is until her mind began to get clouded she frowned is frustration wondering who was casually casting a curse over such a wide area but as she wondered this her eyes began to glow as she transferred the curse to legion who was resting in her shadow legion simply absorb it as she grew a little stronger

Before Sabrina could investigate the sauce of the curse Pozuzy and a number of other students began to sing and dance Sabrina rolled her eyes as she did she saw a large parade barrelling though a ground of students without a care in tge world Sabrina didn't care though or at least she didn't at first then she saw who was in charge of said parade and her eyes narrowed as she saw a selfish arrogant insufferable royal basted of a human she thought about killing him and adding him to her collection but chose to refrain for now as she may get expelled she suspected she would get a chance later anyway Sabrina grain as she thought about the fun she could have with him in tge future
