In the future, modern cities are not controlled by one person. But are controlled and constantly fought over by groups of people. In this particular city though, there is a maximum security prison. It is one of the tallest buildings in the entire city. It consists of two tower-like buildings connected by a single bridge in the middle. There are hundreds of levels all containing thousands of prisoners.
You and a few of your friends have broken a law. And a minor law at that. But because you are arch enemies with the current power house of the city, you and your friends have been sent to this prison, in the attempt that your enemy no longer has to worry about you trying to take back control of the city.
A few months later and you have just escaped the prison that was thought to be impossible to escape from. You are now Wanted By Law and must avoid Authorities. But there is a more prominent danger. The current power house of the city, your arch enemy, is still in control of the city. He/she is slowly bringing the city under their complete control. You and your friends set out to get rid of him/her for the last and final time. But the enemy knows of your break out and has already set in motion several tactics to get rid of you. Can you avoid the Authorities and bring down the enemy at the same time? Or will your attempt be in vain?

((Everyone at this point has gotten out of their cell. If you want to break out on your own, that is fine.))
Thannor had his long white hair tied back into a lose ponytail as he was kneeling on the concrete floor. As a creature of the night, Thannor saw well in the dark prison complex. His eyes were well adjusted to night living. The dark elf was picking a door lock. This prison, being of high security, had all their doors locked. It was silly really, seemingly pointless. But it was a safety measure; a safety measure that Thannor knew how to get past that is.
There was the sound of a small click and Thannor smiled, the door had been unlocked. He stood up and pushed the door open. By the look of the interior, he could tell that it was a weapons room. Bingo, thought Thannor.
“Everyone grab your weapons and get out. This is the last stop.” Thannor whispered. The elf stepped into the room and began to rummage the individual shelves for his own two scimitar swords.

"My Lord?"
Really, he should discourage that. People addressed him as a lord even though he was merely a man. Well, a Warlock, at any rate. But no, he liked the phrasing, it sound good with the last name. Lord Haze...he could get used to that very easily.
The tall, gaunt figure turned from the window in his office, acknowledging the speaker with a nod.
"We've lost two guards at the prison, sir! Thannor and his group are making their break!" the guard exclaimed, his voice high and wheedling. The leader of the city rubbed his eyes with one hand, trying to find polite phrasing.
"Jedidiah, have you ever considered the fact that perhaps I want to give my underlings work to do? As vexing as I find the fact that Thannor and his friends could ever possibly escape from our prison, I am curious as to what they do. Chase them, but give them a few days, if you please. Oh yes, and having broken out of that prison myself..."
Kalus smiled a mirthless grin, similar to a crocodile's smile. "Having escaped once or twice myself, might I suggest fixing a few of the walls and re-doing some of the cell bars? The metal is old and the stone is ancient and chipping in places."
The guard nodded, almost shaking under those icy blue eyes, which didn't move away from him.
"Don't let me detain you, Jedidiah," came the soft, amused voice, and the guard practically bolted for the door, shutting it behind him.
Kalus smiled, then chuckled darkly, moving back to his full-wall window that overlooked the entire city. Smoke from factories killed his people earlier in their lives, the other gangs wanted to unbalance his carefully balanced scale. He smiled. Let them try, after a hundred years of living, he had a plan. He was going to use their fighting for good purposes, put them to work...form a police-force worth the upkeep, disband the current one. Policemen who could keep Law, rather than Order or Peace...Law was important, Order and Peace followed after, didn't come before.
Kalus sighed. He had a lot of work to do...
