In the future, modern cities are not controlled by one person. But are controlled and constantly fought over by groups of people. In this particular city though, there is a maximum security prison. It is one of the tallest buildings in the entire city. It consists of two tower-like buildings connected by a single bridge in the middle. There are hundreds of levels all containing thousands of prisoners.

You and a few of your friends have broken a law. And a minor law at that. But because you are arch enemies with the current power house of the city, you and your friends have been sent to this prison, in the attempt that your enemy no longer has to worry about you trying to take back control of the city.

A few months later and you have just escaped the prison that was thought to be impossible to escape from. You are now Wanted By Law and must avoid Authorities. But there is a more prominent danger. The current power house of the city, your arch enemy, is still in control of the city. He/she is slowly bringing the city under their complete control. You and your friends set out to get rid of him/her for the last and final time. But the enemy knows of your break out and has already set in motion several tactics to get rid of you. Can you avoid the Authorities and bring down the enemy at the same time? Or will your attempt be in vain?

((Everyone at this point has gotten out of their cell. If you want to break out on your own, that is fine.))

Thannor had his long white hair tied back into a lose ponytail as he was kneeling on the concrete floor. As a creature of the night, Thannor saw well in the dark prison complex. His eyes were well adjusted to night living. The dark elf was picking a door lock. This prison, being of high security, had all their doors locked. It was silly really, seemingly pointless. But it was a safety measure; a safety measure that Thannor knew how to get past that is.

There was the sound of a small click and Thannor smiled, the door had been unlocked. He stood up and pushed the door open. By the look of the interior, he could tell that it was a weapons room. Bingo, thought Thannor.

“Everyone grab your weapons and get out. This is the last stop.” Thannor whispered. The elf stepped into the room and began to rummage the individual shelves for his own two scimitar swords.

"My Lord?"

Really, he should discourage that. People addressed him as a lord even though he was merely a man. Well, a Warlock, at any rate. But no, he liked the phrasing, it sound good with the last name. Lord Haze...he could get used to that very easily.

The tall, gaunt figure turned from the window in his office, acknowledging the speaker with a nod.

"We've lost two guards at the prison, sir! Thannor and his group are making their break!" the guard exclaimed, his voice high and wheedling. The leader of the city rubbed his eyes with one hand, trying to find polite phrasing.

"Jedidiah, have you ever considered the fact that perhaps I want to give my underlings work to do? As vexing as I find the fact that Thannor and his friends could ever possibly escape from our prison, I am curious as to what they do. Chase them, but give them a few days, if you please. Oh yes, and having broken out of that prison myself..."

Kalus smiled a mirthless grin, similar to a crocodile's smile. "Having escaped once or twice myself, might I suggest fixing a few of the walls and re-doing some of the cell bars? The metal is old and the stone is ancient and chipping in places."

The guard nodded, almost shaking under those icy blue eyes, which didn't move away from him.

"Don't let me detain you, Jedidiah," came the soft, amused voice, and the guard practically bolted for the door, shutting it behind him.

Kalus smiled, then chuckled darkly, moving back to his full-wall window that overlooked the entire city. Smoke from factories killed his people earlier in their lives, the other gangs wanted to unbalance his carefully balanced scale. He smiled. Let them try, after a hundred years of living, he had a plan. He was going to use their fighting for good purposes, put them to work...form a police-force worth the upkeep, disband the current one. Policemen who could keep Law, rather than Order or Peace...Law was important, Order and Peace followed after, didn't come before.

Kalus sighed. He had a lot of work to do...

Scarlett followed Thannor quietly, trying to muffle the clicking sound of her hooves on the hard floor. She looked at all the weapons in the room and frowned. "How am I supposed to find my bow?" She hissed. After looking around a few times, she saw it. "Finally!" She smiled and held it tight, waiting impatiently for the others.

Rowan quickly walked into the room, her footsteps silent as she glanced around the walls, looking for her weapon. A metal gleam caught her eye, and she smiled, seeing a familiar blade. The nymph quickly walked over to a shelf, taking her katana from where it rested. It felt comfortable within her grip. The blade was practically an old friend, and she was happy to have it back.

Rowan brushed the straight, black locks of her hair back over her shoulders, as she walked back over to the door she had just previously entered the room by, peering down the hall cautiously. Things were going well so far, and for that she was glad, but she also knew things would most likely not be getting any easier from here on out.

Scarlett grabbed her quiver of arrows and slung it over her shoulder. "When can we go?" She asked, wanting to get out. She wasn't used to being cooped up. She traced the two upside down triangles on her cheeks that she had burned there when she was little, by accident. (She face-planted into a burning hot wall with upside down triangles on it...? I dunno e.o)

As the door opened Dante immediately spotted his and Serenity's weapons. He took his sister's hand and walked over to them. Serenity looked up at her brother and at the others, feeling embarrassed her brother was treating her like a child again. But she was already getting used to it anyways. Dante let go of her hand when they reached the weapons and picked up her bow and quiver, placing them on her and picking up his own battle axe, resting it on his shoulders. Serenity sighed a bit annoyed since she could have done it herself, but smiled since she knew her brother was just taking care of her. She handed him his daggers then grabbed her own. Dante pat her head and they smiled at each other. He looked around at everyone, waiting for everybody to grab they're weapons before they left.

Scarlett paced in place, wanting to rush out the exit. "Come on!" She mumbled.

(Sry for the really short post, couldnt think of anything to say..)

"Have patience Scarlett." Rowan murmured, glancing back at her. "Rushing will do nothing but make us careless, which is one thing we cannot afford to be. Just try to stay calm." She said, her attitude a blend of seriousness, and relaxedness. She knew that worrying would do her no good.

Scarlett stopped pacing and glanced at Rowan. "I guess youre right." She sighed. "But this place gives me the creeps." Stroking her bow, she glanced out the door. She swished her tail, and looked around the room. "Should we take anything apart from... our things?"

(I'm so sorry I haven't responded. Work tends to get in the way a lot. The post will probably come on Sunday, as that is the only day I have "off." I truly hope you don't mind the wait.)

((It's not dead. Work has just over loaded me. Currently have gotten myself ill because of over working myself. I'll reply within the hour.))
Thannor grabbed his scimitar swords and belt and strapped it around his waist. He looked at them all, "Shh. Just grab your weapons. It's all we have time for. Now come on, let's get going. This place is creeping me out." Thannor hissed. He moved passed his comrades and out into the corridor, turning right.

The elf came face to face with Derek. Derek's face had a smirk plastered to his face. Thannor looked down and saw two guards dead at his feet.

"You didn't." Thannor stated. Derek only smiled wider.

"Couldn't help it." He replied back. Thannor dropped his shoulders and shook his head sadly.

"This is the last thing we need. We don't need the whole prison on alert. It's bad enough we were able to get out of cell." Thannor said in harsh whisper. The dark elf stepped over the dead guards and passed Derek, who only turned his head to watch his friend continue down the hallway.

Scarlett jumped over the guards, and followed Thannor with a grim expression. Her hooves clicked and she tried to quiet them.

(Aww sorry about that, hope you get better!)

((Well, I sincerely hope you are feeling better by now. Don't push yourself too hard to post often if you just don't have the time or energy to. I'm sure everyone understands.))

Rowan followed both Thannor and Scarlett out of the room, giving the dead guards only the briefest of glances as she steppe over them. While the two being dead might prove to make things a bit more difficult later on, she found no sympathy or regret for them within her. Things were bound to get difficult soon enough anyway, and what was done was done.

Rowan kept her blade unsheathed, gripping the hilt firmly with two hands as she held it at we side, said blade pointed down at the ground. She glanced between Derek and Thannor, merely shrugging her shoulders before continuing at a brisk pace down the hall, keeping up with the two ahead of her.

Rowan's gaze was alert and wary as it flitted about, while she made sure to observe the positions of her friends, and be aware of the surrounding area. The time for being careless an lazy wasn't now. Even she knew that much. It had always been easy for her to change her mindset, like all she had to do was flip a switch.

'If there was only a large enough body of water nearby..' Rowan let the thought trail off. She doubted they'd find much water, at least in this place, and besides that, portals took time, time she didn't really know if they had. Rowan didn't dwell much on it as she continued to move.
