Chapter #1

Let the magic BEGIN...

Introduction

...

Another scholastic year commenced with a magical flourish as Walt Disney University once again flung open its grand doors to both new and returning students. The campus buzzed with excitement, mirroring the blissful, sunlit day that set the perfect tone for the beginning of this academic adventure. The warmth of the late summer sun, combined with the vibrant energy in the air, made the first day on campus feel relaxed yet filled with anticipation, especially as the annual welcoming bonfire awaited students that evening. A WDU tradition that was mentioned throughout campus and other universities.

For most of the day, on-campus students could arrive at their leisure, with move-in hours stretching from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During this time, they collected dorm keys, student IDs, and timetables, while ensuring that all administrative matters were in order. As for the off-campus students, they were given a dedicated hour between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. to finalize their student IDs and timetables and just in time for the evening festivities. That being said, they were also welcome to join the earlier arrivals, seamlessly blending with the on-campus residents to take care of things ahead of schedule.

The day was thoughtfully designed to ease students into their upcoming (for those who started) or familiarization (for the returning students) university life, leaving everyone to look forward to a fun-filled evening that would officially mark the beginning of the year ahead.

Not to say the least, students had already met many of the peers they would be living alongside throughout the scholastic year. By midday, the campus was abuzz with activity as students explored the grounds and settled into their new routines. While the official club recruiting days were still on the horizon, some of the universityโ€™s most fundamental groups namely; Sorority, Fraternity, Student Government, and School Editorial, had already begun unofficially scouting and recruiting new members. Omicron Alpha Fraternity and Omicron Psi Sorority were particularly active, engaging both returning members and enthusiastic first-years, eager to bolster their ranks ahead of orientation.

The leaders of these prestigious groups were hard at work. Tara Baker, the golden-haired, graceful president of Omicron Psi, was a figure of warmth and confidence. Her gentle demeanor, however, belied the intense organization she had in place to ensure her sorority stayed on top. Keaton Landau, on the other hand, president of Omicron Alpha, cut an entirely different figure. A boisterous brunette with boundless energy, he was the charismatic heart of his fraternity, making sure to personally recruit every promising first-year who crossed his path. Together, these two powerhouses represented the elite of Walt Disney Universityโ€™s greek life.

In parallel, Daniella Rockers, with her striking white hair and commanding presence, oversaw the Student Government. As president, Daniella exuded an air of unshakable authority, but she also knew the importance of making new students feel at home. She and her team had been meticulously assigned to ensure the smooth arrival and integration of newcomers, from handing out welcome packets to guiding students through the orientation process. With a blend of care and efficiency, they helped first-years settle into their dorms, making sure everyone felt welcomed and ready to explore the campus at their leisure.

Meanwhile, the School Editorial wasted no time in getting down to business. Even amidst the buzz of move-ins and club sign-ups, the team was already brainstorming their first issue. With Kadara now returning from her temporary absence, the club's structure had been reconfigured, not even slowing them down the slightest. Each member was eager to contribute to the editorial vision, even as Kadaraโ€™s return to steer the ship once more. Her managing editor, Leah Cartwright had kept the Happily Ever After always up to date with new content whilst keeping in communication with Kadara. Albeit being absent for a year, she was still kept in the loop and she wasted no time in sharing her ideas for the upcoming year, including the need for a Design expert as well as the new WDU Student Yearbook.

As the afternoon rolled on, the excitement only grew, especially with the much-anticipated bonfire just hours away. Student Government alongside the WDU staff were hard at work, making sure the evening's event would be nothing short of spectacular. It was an all-hands-on-deck effort, ensuring that this yearโ€™s welcoming bonfire would set a new standard for school spirit and unity.

The day had been one of smooth transitions, new beginnings, and the forging of connections, but it was far from over. With orientation on the horizon and the nightโ€™s festivities fast approaching, Walt Disney University was just getting started. The magic of a new year was in the air. An open invitation for students to dive into the opportunities ahead, whether through clubs, friendships, or the shared excitement of the journey they were embarking on together.

As the sun dipped lazily below the horizon, casting the last golden hues across the sky, the much-anticipated bonfire finally began. Students meandered along the winding paths of the campus, gradually making their way toward the sprawling back gardens where the event was being held. At the entrance, a large, cheerful sign reading โ€˜WELCOME!โ€™ greeted them, framed by strings of fairy lights that twinkle like stars. Behind the sign, two members from the Student Government welcomed students with warm smiles, guiding them through the eveningโ€™s first tradition: signing the guest book. This task, entrusted to them by Daniella Rockers, was part of a yearbook tradition, preserving the names of all who attended this magical event.

The garden itself had been transformed into a breathtaking space, thoughtfully designed to celebrate the start of the new year. At the heart of the area was a large, open circle where the bonfire would soon blaze, surrounded by a ring of wooden logs and benches for students to gather and relax. Surrounding this central space, various activity zones offered something for everyone. Food stalls, adorned with fairy lights and rustic signage, lined the gardenโ€™s perimeter. Each stand offered a selection of mouthwatering snacks: from classic comfort foods like burgers and hot dogs to more eclectic options, including gourmet sandwiches, vegan delights, and freshly baked pastries. Nearby, beverage stations served everything from chilled lemonade and iced tea to hot cocoa and cider, perfect for sipping by the fire as the evening grew cooler.

Scattered across the garden were cozy nooks furnished with hammocks and bean bags, giving students a chance to lounge and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. To keep the excitement going, the garden brimmed with activities catering to all interests. For the more competitive, there were several lawn games set up: giant Jenga, cornhole, and a lively volleyball game under the softly glowing string lights. A ring toss and a horseshoe pit beckoned players eager to test their skill, while a friendly tug-of-war contest was scheduled to take place later in the evening, complete with cheering spectators. For students feeling creative, an arts-and-crafts station offered a chance to paint small ceramic tiles, which would later be assembled into a mural for the student center; a permanent reminder of the nightโ€™s fun.

At another corner of the garden, a makeshift open-mic stage welcomed singers, comedians, and poets alike. Students gathered on blankets and bean bags, cheering for their classmates as they performed under the stars. The air was filled with music as a DJ, set up near the edge of the garden, played upbeat tracks that had students breaking into spontaneous dance. For those looking for quieter moments, hammocks and bean bags were scattered in cozy corners, offering a place to stargaze, chat with friends, or simply soak in the magical atmosphere. Adding to the playful spirit of the night, a face-painting booth and temporary tattoo station drew crowds of students eager to sport vibrant designs. And for the adventurous, a scavenger hunt spanned the entire garden, with hidden clues leading to fun prizes like university merch, gift cards, and passes to upcoming campus events. Each activity added to the growing excitement, making sure there was something to engage every studentโ€™s interest.

Once it was clear that all students had arrived, the two members had closed the sign-in book, securing it until the initiation ceremony later in the night to be provided to School Editorial for safekeeping. The gathering hushed as Daniella Rockers, the Student Government president, let out a booming call for attention, her voice cutting through the buzz of conversation.

"Attention, students," she declared, torch in hand, her powerful voice commanding the crowd's focus. "Tara, Keaton, and I, your current student presidents, are thrilled to officially welcome you to Walt Disney University!"

Standing tall beside her, was Tara, with her golden blonde hair catching the torchlight, and Keaton, his broad grin matching the flickering flames, held their own torches high. Behind them loomed a towering effigy; a massive representation of the rival Dreamworks University mascot. Each year, this effigy was built with the backing of Daniella's family business, symbolizing the playful rivalry between the two schools.

After a few more words of welcome, the trio raised their torches in unison and dramatically dropped them onto the base of the effigy. In an instant, the structure was consumed in flames, crackling and roaring as it lit up the night sky. The bonfire burst to life, casting a warm, fiery glow across the studentsโ€™ eager faces.

"LET THE BONFIRE BEGIN!" The three presidents shouted in perfect unison, their voices ringing out as a wave of excitement swept over the crowd. Applause erupted, followed by screams of joy and excitement as the effigy blazed, sending sparks into the night. The flames danced high, igniting not just the wood but the energy of the evening.

It was a moment of unity and exhilaration, marking the start of a new year full of promise and adventure. With that, the bonfire commenced โ€ฆ

Welcome to Walt Disney University! The above starter should give an idea of what the first day consisted of and how the night can branch out to. It is encouraged that all your students participate in this event as it is open to every one of your characters. As you may realize some students like Presidents have been placed accordingly for introductory purposes but are now free to roam along with the rest. We shall be giving some ideas to help people that are in the main clubs but in the meantime, do not hesitate to ask us. We do not suggest posting right away, in fact we highly encourage character plotting and connections to the even in our discord server so we can make the whole thing inclusive and fun!

best of you

It was only the opening events for the first day of her last year of school, and while Leah would love to spend all her time reminiscing, she had work to do. Work that she loved, don't get her wrong, but part of her wished she was already with her best friend, enjoying the party and bonfire. She'd get her chance - she was almost done, after all - but she was almost ready to vibrate out of her skin if she didn't hurry.

She doubted Eugene would be happy if she did that though. She'd like to think her jock of a best friend would miss her. Not to mention all her other friends.

Reaching up with her free hand, she tucked a stray piece of blonde hair back behind her ear as she chewed her lip, looking at the form in her hand. For the last year she'd been the editor in chief in place of Kadara, and while it technically wasn't her cup of tea, having been more than happy to leave the final decisions to others, she'd accepted the job as a favor to a friend. Plus, it wasn't like it was forever. As seen this year, as the younger girl returned to take her rightful place, allowing Leah to happily return to her role in production. Which she just so happened to be going over currently.

She'd gone over everything with Kadara already, but she'd still had her own checks to go over, helping get the information booth for the paper set up in an effort to recruit more members for the new year. She was hunched over one of the tables, having put her free hand back down to help stabilize her position as she ran through her personal check list one last time. She wasn't in charge per say anymore, but she still wanted everything to be perfect.

Everything seemed to be in order though, and she had nothing to worry about. She just wanted to be extra diligent, making sure her desire to go out and meet Eugene wasn't causing her to rush through her tasks and make a mistake. But! She was positive she'd finally done it!

"Finished!"
she cried out, suddenly, voice bright and loud over the general chatter, startling a few others nearby. Leah winced, flushing slightly as she raised a hand in apology. With an awkward laugh, she set her list down on the table and grabbed her phone, checking her messages. She perked up again at the sight of her most recent text.
"I'll see you guys later, kay? Text me!"
she chirped, locking her phone and hurrying to dart out of the little booth they'd set up.

Your girl had plans, and she was more than excited to spend the rest of her night enjoying her last welcome bonfire.

Following the instructions left to her by her best friend on where she could find him - though she was sure she could have found him without, he was very hard to miss - Leah practically skipped down the paved path towards the rest of the festivities. Eugene loved the physical challenges, so it wasn't hard to catch sight of him with his voice booming over a small crowd that had gathered as he worked to one-up his latest challenger.

Stopping a little ways back, the blonde couldn't help the small smile at her friend. She loved seeing him like this. In his element and relaxed and just enjoying himself. He was free in this moment, and she couldn't help but fall even a little bit more in love with him than she already was. But that was a story for a different day. For now, it was time to make the most of their last welcoming day, and to do that...well. Unfortunately she'd have to interrupt just a little.

"Eugene!"
she called, standing on her tiptoes so she could be seen over the crowd. Waving her arm in the air, she bounced on her toes for a moment, waiting for him to realize she was there before she began to make her way through the crowd.
"Sorry it took so long, hope you weren't waiting too long."
she apologized, sliding her arms around one of his own, hugging the appendage tight to her chest in greeting.

"You've been busy though! So, I hope it wasn't too bad of a wait."

on top of the world

Despite it being the first day back, Kit's morning had been full of excitement. Which was a slight relief, the brunette enjoyed being kept busy. It was why he joined the student government last year, and he was thrilled that Danny and the rest found him capable enough to become the vice president while only being in his second year. Purely due to his hard work and dedication to putting himself out there, getting to know his fellow students and getting involved in multiple activities, Kit was pleased to have his efforts recognized, and so early at that. Not normally one to be too proud, he couldn't help his joy, though he tried not to let it make him too cocky. There was always room for improvement after all.

Having already helped everyone make their way to orientation, he'd spent the morning directing first years to where they needed to go, helping hand out information and being available for any staff member or student as needed. He loved it. It was full of the social contact that he thrived in, taking to it like a fish in water.

Which, speaking of water...With a glance down at his phone, he smiled at the message from the small group chat that he'd created with his firsties, Melanie and Audrey.

He'd been assigned the two girls for orientation, meant to help guide them around campus and get them settled before taking them to orientation. Something he definitely did not mind, especially since, upon meeting the two, he found they got along quite well. Both were a tad shy, but he didn't blame them. Obviously this was a new situation for them both and he didn't mind answering their questions. Both girls were a tad quiet at first, but they opened up in their own way, and despite the fact that he had to leave them at orientation, Kit couldn't help but give them his number and offer to show them around further after, when the bonfire was in full swing.

He hadn't made any set plans, having known he'd be busy off and on throughout the day, so having found out that he'd have the evening free, he didn't see why he couldn't offer his assistance to the two who he wouldn't have any problem becoming friends with.

And now that orientation was over, he was pleased to see a request for another tour of sorts. Something he was definitely happy to give. Having sent off an affirmative, telling them to wait for him in the gardens, he began to make his way over, offering a wave to his fellow government members in goodbye.

It didn't take him long to reach the two, smiling as he saw them. Hopefully he could help them settle in and find their own place at WDU. He loved his school, and he wanted others to find the same joy in attending as he did.

"Melanie! Audrey!"
he called out, waving at the two.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting long. How're you two finding the school so far?"

count on me

Another day, another school year, which also meant, another bonfire. And more than likely another year of her best friend seemingly walking a fine line of wanting to be by her side twenty-four seven or avoiding her like she had the plague. Penny was hoping for more of the former, seeing as any time spent with Pint was something she treasured. After everything they'd been through with their back and forth, all she wanted was to just enjoy the year with her friend.

Logically she knew nothing could separate them forever, they'd already proved that true, but still. She knew that with the way she truly felt about the man sitting next to her nothing was going to be easy. She wanted to be honest, but she was terrified that he didn't feel the same and things would change. Pathetic she knew, but Penny was willing to admit that she was a coward.

A soft bark caught her attention, bringing her gaze down from where she'd been staring at the sky. She smiled, reaching out to give Patch, her dalmatian puppy, a scratch behind the ear.
"Yes, I know, you're the goodest boy, aren't you?"
she cooed, using a softer baby tone, gaining her another bark and the weight of the twenty something pound puppy in her lap.

She laughed, the weight causing her to lean backwards, as she settled into a new position to comfortably hold the dog in her lap. Sure there were benches everywhere, but Penny preferred to sit on the ground. She'd bugged Pint to remember to pack a blanket so they could lay it out and make their own small comfy space where they could hang out and enjoy the bonfire. They were close enough to feel the warmth, but far enough to be able to enjoy themselves and not feel crowded. It was nice, somewhat intimate, but open enough for any of their friends to find them if they happened to pass by.

She loved it. Hopefully they could make this a tradition or something, seeing as they still had two more years to look forward to after their current one. The redhead was positive she could get Pint to agree. She hid a smirk at the thought, pretending to rub at her nose so she could cover her mouth. He could pretend otherwise, but Penny knew that he had a hard saying no to her when it came to things like this.

"So, I know we tried a few things already, but was there anything else we wanted to sample?"
she asked, stretching out a bit on the blanket so she was laying on her back as Patch shifted as well, pressing all his weight into her stomach as he laid his head on her chest. A small 'oomph!' escaped her as the breath was kicked from her lungs. Taking in another breath, she adjusted quickly - thankfully - and gave the dog another scratch behind the ears. She was used to becoming a human shaped dog bed for her spoiled pup.

Maybe Pint was right and she spoiled him a little too much sometimes...

"Or did you want to skip straight to dessert?"
she continued like nothing happened. Which, honestly, it hadn't.
"Cause I can feel my sweet tooth kicking in."

Maya was late.

She had to be at WDU before Mama R, because she had orientation so she left before she did but not before promising that she would come and find her at the bonfire. Once she had got to school, she went to where she was suppose to go, and got her dorm assignments while also meeting her student goverment person? Apparantly she had someone to guide her through the school and give her tour. Her's was Marceline with another girl called Aria. Once they had gotten all of their things dropped off to their dorm, she was rushed off to the tour. It was kinda fun, and enjoyable. She had a lot of questions about clubs and subjects which Marcy had been so kind to answer her. Once they had separated, Maya ventured off to explore the school on her own.

Then her family called her once again.

They had been calling her every day, and she had been just ignoring them. Sending them to voicemail as soon as she sees it was them. This time was no different. She knew they were calling her to come back home and she refused. She was doing something for herself for once and not for the island she had called home. So after that, she went around more, and soon she had lost track of them, and was running to the bonfire. Her phone dinged with a message from Mama R, and she groaned knowing that she was serious. To called her Mai-Mai and demand a hug? That means she better hurry up. Once she got to the bonfire, she moved in the crowd looking for her. Finding her near the face paint booth. She rushed over there.

"I'm here Mama, I'm sorry...I might have gotten a bit distracted." She said smiling softly at her. Maya then opened her arms "You said you wanted a hug?"

better when i'm dancing

"Honestly, thank god we decided to come back together..."
Renata muttered, looking up from her phone to glance at her best friend, Tanner.
"Thank you again for helping me lug all my stuff back."
she thanked the other girl. While Renata liked to think of herself as smart and capable, she was still a bit of a girl's girl, packing too much. There were a few things that were now safely unpacked in her room that she doubted she'd need, but she just didn't want to take the chance. It wasn't like she'd be able to pop back home in case she forgot anything.

Luckily for her though, her best friend was truly a gem, and had been willing to help her. Tanner was too good to her, she knew that. But she'd be a fool to let her first friend ever get away from her. Not that she thought they could ever be separated, they were practically sisters. They'd do anything for each other.

They'd made it back to school a little after orientation for the first years, giving them both plenty of time to unpack before the actual start of the bonfire and its fellow events. Despite having attended her previous two years, Renata couldn't help but look forward to what would no doubt be a night full of relaxing fun. She could definitely use it before she had to dive in and focus on her schooling and her responsibilities to her extracurriculars. Not to mention all of the practice time she was going to have to fit in. For both her major and for the dance team. She could already see herself collapsing into bed, exhausted and ready to pass out for the next few weeks. She couldn't wait.

And no, that wasn't sarcastic. Well. Maybe it was a little.

Hopefully she'd be able to settle into a routine quickly and find enough time to spend with her boyfriend, Carlos, along with Tanner and Sergio and her other friends. Though, those three were the ones that took priority, so they came first. Obviously.

Speaking of Carlos, Renata focused back on her phone, finishing the text she was sending to her boyfriend.

'Just made it back with Tanner! Hope you and Dani made it back alright too. Let me know if you want to meet up later at the bonfire? xoxo'

Tapping send, she made sure the message went through before locking her phone and sliding it into her bag. Clapping her hands together, she spun on her toes so she was facing Tanner.
"Alright! Where are we going first? Food or games? Watch someone make a fool of themselves? What's your fancy?"

happy

It was a bright, fun filled, action packed day, and Haruki was always living the college dream. At least, he certainly thought so. Heโ€™d spent the last few years desperately missing his best friend, Ben, hearing stories about his time at school, and now that he was finally here? He was ready to live this experience to the fullest.

Heโ€™d arrived early this morning, in time for orientation and met with his student guide, Sergio beforehand. The older student was extremely helpful and was more than willing to put up with his excited ramblings and questions, leaving the green-haired boy very happy. While he had plenty of questions for Ben, he was grateful to have someone else he could talk to if he wasnโ€™t sure of something.

Heโ€™d just left the group of other freshmen heโ€™d been a part of and started wandering, looking for his best friend that said he was going to finish showing him around campus and the events for the upcoming bonfire. He was really excited! Now if only he could find Benโ€ฆ

โ€œNow if I were Ben, where would I be hidingโ€ฆโ€
he mumbled, narrowing his eyes into a squint as he scanned the open area before him. Youโ€™d think it would be easy to find a tall curly haired blonde guy wandering around, but he guessed not.

Oh well, heโ€™d find him eventually.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets, Haru continued his stroll, whistling to himself and taking everything in. The campus truly was beautiful and he couldnโ€™t wait to dive headfirst into his classes, everything seemed so new and up to date. It was almost like he was a kid in a candy shop when he saw the labs when heโ€™d done his tour of the robotics department. He was sure if he thought about it long enough then he was definitely going to end up vibrating out of his skin. Which would suck, actually so he should definitely try to focus on something else, likeโ€ฆoh!

โ€œBen!โ€
he called out excitedly, waving one arm wildly in the air.
โ€Over here!!!โ€

To say Melanie was nervous would be the understatement of the year. As she stood looking at the college ahead of her, she wished for nothing more than to be on her familyโ€™s boat somewhere in the Caribbean, far away from the crowds and unfamiliar faces. The buzz of the crowd around her only amplified her sense of isolation. She couldn't help but fear that this might be her entire college experience: alone, lingering by a wall, watching others having fun while she stayed on the sidelines. Looking out at the sea of people made her stomach twist with anxiety. How could anyone make friends in a place this overwhelming? And, really, who would approach the shy girl clinging to the wall, too afraid to take the first step?

Thankfully, Melanie was placed with Kit and Audrey for orientationโ€”two people who seemed to put her nerves at ease from the start. By the time the tour wrapped up, and sheโ€™d exchanged phone numbers with Kit, she couldnโ€™t believe how different she felt compared to when sheโ€™d first arrived at WDU. That morning, she had been ready to bolt from the college altogether, but now here she was, strolling around campus with her new friend Audrey and looking forward to meeting up with Kit later at the bonfire. She would be lying if she said she felt entirely comfortable with the crowds around her, but with Audrey and Kit now in her corner, she had a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she could survive this year after all.

โ€œHey, Kit, no worries at all! We just got here ourselves,โ€ she replied with a smile, pleasantly surprised by how easy the conversation flowed between the three of them. She listened as Audrey excitedly shared her thoughts about the school, nodding in agreement. โ€œIโ€™m definitely going to get lost a lot here,โ€ she said, a hint of laughter in her voice.

When Audrey turned her attention toward Melanie, she glanced around them, biting her lip in thought. โ€œNothing is really sticking out to me, so Iโ€™m happy to do whatever. But maybe we could slowly make our way into the crowds, if thatโ€™s okay?โ€ she suggested, a slight twinge of nerves evident in her tone. She quickly brushed it off with a smile, hoping to convey her enthusiasm despite the slightly bubbling anxiety as she noticed a crowd forming around the bonfire.

As though a sudden idea had struck her, Melanie's eyes widened momentarily as she looked at Kit. "Oh I hope you don't feel like you have to stay with us, I know we agreed to meet up again, I just hope we aren't keeping you from your friends" her words came out a little rush with a slight twinge of panic present in her tone.

The first day back at WDU was as expected: loud, chaotic, and full of excitement. Carlos and Danitza had arrived early, hoping to ease her into the new semester before the crowds poured in. Of course, he didnโ€™t tell his sister that; heโ€™d played it off like he was the one who needed an early start. After they got to campus and found Daniโ€™s room, they parted ways, promising to meet up later for the bonfire. Leaving the perfect amount of time to drop his own bags in his dorm before going to his favorite spot on the green for a long awaited smoke.

Carlos lay on the grass, watching the lost first-years running around and grin pulled at his lips. He remembered being in their shoes just two years ago, feeling like heโ€™d never get a grip on the place. Now, as a third-year, he knew the school like the back of his hand, well for the most part anyway.

Carlos pulled out his phone, intending to text his girlfriend, only to see that she had beaten him to it. His grin grew as he opened her message and he quickly responded.

Was just about to text you! We got in early to beat the crowds. Yes definitely want to see you <3 I'm meeting back up with Dani now to take her to the bonfire so let me know when you get there :) see you later xoxo

Putting his phone back into his pocket, Carlos slowly stood up and stretched, feeling stiff from lying on the grass for so long. It didnโ€™t take him long to reach the meeting point, where he spotted his sister waiting. He waved and, with a grin, took her arm in his, for her comfort as they began to walk toward the bonfire together. Carlos noticed his sisters tension almost immediately and his eyes darted down to look at her now white knuckles from hanging on so tight. He had just begun to slow his pace when his sister suddenly dropped his arm and Carlos turned to look at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't be silly hermanita, I want to spend time with you" he told her as he put an arm around her shoulders and pulled her into him "now how about we go over there and have a seat for a bit?" he suggested pointing out a quiet spot by the back of the crowd.

Once he received confirmation from her, Carlos began to guide them towards a more quiet spot of the bonfire, a bit more away from the crowd that had gathered. He sat down on the grass, stretching his legs out in front of him "So how are you feeling about being back? Have you seen any of your friends yet?" he asked her.

best friends

Back at it again with the best brother one could ask for, Fin couldnโ€™t wait to start the year off with a bang! He and Finn had arrived earlier, making sure to get settled in their respective dorms, before meeting up again to enjoy what was officially their last night of freedom before their schooling and extracurriculars took up their free time.

Perry was happily walking along beside them, vibrating as he usually did, which was a small comfort. Seeing as eventually the brothers would have to separate once more. He knew that it was for the best, they were supposed to be learning how to be more independent and not do everything together. Which was hard considering they shared so many of the same interests! Itโ€™s why they got along so well when they met all those years ago when their parents married.

It was hard to remember why they were doing this sometimes, but Fin knew he needed to power through. After all, it wasnโ€™t like theyโ€™d never see each other again. They shared some classes and clubs, so theyโ€™d definitely see each other soon, not to mention theyโ€™d probably be texting whenever they had a free moment.

He just had to keep reminding himself of all the good things that were going to be coming. He was in his second year of college, and that meant something to him. He was doing well and was excited to learn even more.

โ€œReally?โ€
he asked, drawn out of his thoughts by his brother. He was rambling off another random fact, and while Fin didnโ€™t know where they came from, they were definitely interesting!
โ€œHuh, well I guess that makes sense.โ€
he shrugged.
โ€œSeeing as all those advisors at the end of last year kept talking about making sure to take this year seriously before it was too late to change things.โ€

Fin was probably rambling as well, but once he was on a roll, it was hard to stop. His brother was used to it, but heโ€™d rather not go into a long drawn out monologue about what had happened with his advisors at the end of his freshman year. He winced at the reminder of the small fire heโ€™d started in his programming class when one of his tests on his end of year project caught fire.

His ears had been ringing for quite a while after that meetingโ€ฆ

Shaking his head quickly, he vowed not to keep thinking of how much of a mess that had been. It was the bonfire! Last year, heโ€™d been a freshman and unsure of where everything went and where to go. But now? Now he had some experience and he couldnโ€™t wait to enjoy everything to the fullest!

A tug on his sleeve brought his attention back to his brother, who was now sporting a grin. Instantly he grinned as well. He didnโ€™t know what it was that had brought a rare expression to his brotherโ€™s face, but he was glad. Although once he followed the otherโ€™s gaze to the giant jenga blocks, everything clicked into place.

โ€œMakes sense,โ€
he agreed, his own mind running a mile a minute.
โ€œWhat do you say we go give it a shot?โ€

'Shape up, Rory!'

Such a short and simple phrase, but it was one that held so much meaning. Too much, if you asked Rory. It always echoed with her mother's shrill voice in her ears, and if it wasn't for her brother's she would've never risked going back home, Danny's promise or not. She couldn't stand the woman who gave birth to her, but the temptation to see her brothers again was too sweet. And honestly, the visit back home to Scotland could have been worse. On her own, she definitely didn't have the money to pay for the flight there and back but after Danny had threatened her mother via their companies cooperation, the elder woman had caved and in an offer of goodwill, had bought the tickets so the redhead could come home for the summer.

Overall, she loved spending time with her brothers, but when she wasn't with them, she was practically locked in her room and left to her own devices. The boys were on their way to being the perfect heirs her parents had wanted, and despite their young age, they had plenty of social events to attend with other toddlers and young children. Events that she wasn't invited to. Which was fine, she hadn't wanted to attend them anyway, but she was lonely. Despite struggling to let others in, she didn't like being alone. And that's what she'd been.

Alone.

So it was almost a relief when it came time for her to come back to the States for her second year. She missed her brothers, but she was glad to be able to be back in a place that she actually considered home.

She'd arrived very early in the morning, and took a cab straight to campus, probably being one of the first few to arrive. Rory took advantage of this by getting settled in her dorm first, even taking a small nap to shake off her jet lag, knowing that she was going to have a late night due to the bonfire. Something she'd definitely been looking forward to, she couldn't wait to meet up with everyone again, her limbs ready to get back in business and jump straight into practice, even if it wasn't an official one.

Which led her to hanging around the tents set up to advertise different clubs and sports. Having an obvious bias to the sports teams, she stuck to the one end, bouncing between the football, soccer, and volleyball areas. Having just left the volleyball teams tent, she was headed over to look and see how the soccer team's advertising was going when she caught sight of another familiar redhead.

"Tessa!"
she called out, a small grin on her face as she jogged across the pathway to reach the older redhead.
"How're you doing? How was your summer?"
she asked.

100 bad days

Looking around the campus grounds that were packed full of people, Oliver couldn't help but be grateful that he'd managed to lock Chess safely away in his dorm room. He'd texted his roommates, letting them know to be careful when they arrived so that the small cat didn't escape when they made their way in. He'd closed the door to his own room with her inside, but he wouldn't put it past the sneaky little black cat to find a way to open his door and have free reign of the apartment. She'd done it before, and he had no doubt she'd do it again, especially since she'd been mad to be left behind.

But it was for the best though, with all the people out and about, it would've been far too easy for her to get lost and stepped on, or even worse. And he loved that little stinker far too much to risk such a thing happening to her. He could handle her being mad at him for a few days over her being injured. He'd just have to grovel whenever he got home, which was something he was - unfortunately - used to doing when it came to Chess.

Clearly she was a tad spoiled. At least he wasn't the only one to blame for that, his one roommate, Dani, was the other main perpetrator. He couldn't blame her though, Chess was quite adorable, and when she was such a tiny little kitten, constantly yelling for attention, only a monster could have ignored her.

With his luggage and Chess safely squared away, Oliver was more than ready to kick off the rest of the day and night with a bang. Some time at home had been nice, and the surprise visit from his parents had been interesting, but he couldn't wait to get back to campus and see some of his favorite people. Plus, the night of the bonfire was always a great night to party and let loose before they had to buckle down and take their classes seriously. Well, at least he did. It was his final year before he truly had to go off on his own, and while he'd more or less become self-sufficient over the years, he still had a bit of a safety net, and it would be hard to lose that.

"Man, I need a drink..."
he muttered, running a hand through his hair, ruffling the curly strands. Surely there was someone he recognized nearby that he could start the night off with?

Merging with the crowd headed through the welcoming booth, he was grateful to find a somewhat clear area to escape to, having caught sight of a cooler. He crouched down, opening the lid and began digging, frowning as he only saw soft drinks.
"Ugh, man I'm gonna have to go looking for the right cooler aren't I?"
he grumbled to himself, taking a coke out before standing up and shutting the lid. Cracking the can open, he took a drink, grateful for at least something to quench his thirst.

He turned, planning to try and make his way back through the crowd only to come face to face with someone he did recognize. A grin split across Oliver's face as he lowered his drink, greeting the blonde in front of him.
"Hayden, long time no see man."
he reached out with his free hand, knocking the other man in the shoulder lightly.
"You been here long, or did you just get here?"

The couple had arrived at Walt Disney University just as the hustle of move-ins had calmed. Emil, already familiar with the campus, effortlessly guided her through the grounds. His calm presence was a welcome contrast to the nervous energy of the day, especially when it came to the overwhelming sense of anxiety and happiness all these students were omitting. Avoiding crowds was always a must with Meg, this time was no different. The trip around campus was pleasant. Although not entirely detailed, he showed her all the must hit spots that in his opinion were worth seeing. Straight and to the point. Always so appreciative. Megan was not one to loiter around and surely was not one of the social ones so the more discreet the locations were, the better. He took her to the art department first, pointing out the classrooms and studios where sheโ€™d be spending most of her time in, given her choice of subjects. Megan, silently assessing the space, felt a quiet excitement stir. Her passion for design and tattoo artistry would find a home here.

Rarely the female feels a spark of enjoyment, no, excitement. She had to admit, after their time apart while Emil was here - it took a bit of a toll on their relationship. The pair had never been separated for that long. They had always been next to each other since the moment they met when she had just entered high school. Emil was quite the lightning drop the minute their eyes locked. The look in his eyes may have been misty at points but Meg had always been sure when they were alright and when they weren't. Megan decided to simply not poke her finger in the hole if there was one, so to speak.

It was simply a hunch. A hunch that bubbled the minute their relationship took a long distance stance.

The fact that there was a period been semester where he was radio silent, unsettled her. Meg has been supportive of this step; them going to university together. The pair did not want to be stuck living in a trailer all their lives. In fact, they had been saving up for an apartment near the university in hopes of moving in together there which was now a reality.

As they continued their tour, Emil led her to a few secluded spots. The quiet places he had discovered during his first year. One was a hidden corner of the campus library, nestled between towering bookshelves and large windows that let in just enough light for studying or sketching in peace. Another was a small courtyard tucked behind one of the older buildings, shaded by oak trees with a couple of benches where he liked to sit and write music. It didnโ€™t take long for Megan to appreciate the solitude of these places, where she could easily lose herself in her sketchbook, while Emil could tune his guitar, and both could enjoy their own creative processes in peace. Their shared appreciation for quiet moments made these spaces feel almost like a sanctuary.

By the time they finished the tour, most of the students had already settled into their dorms. Meganโ€™s heart felt a little lighter knowing that Emilโ€™s room was just next door to hers. Despite being independent for the majority of her life, it felt unsettling not to have him in the same space as her like they always been to this day. She hoped for a cozy evening together after they unpacked, perhaps curled up on her bed with music playing in the background.

โœ™โœ™โœ™

The campus bonfire, though, was hard to ignore. Even if she hadnโ€™t been interested, it seemed like everyone was talking about it. As much as she valued her privacy, Meganโ€™s curiosity was slowly getting the better of her.

With a soft sigh, the female tilted her head upward, glancing at her boyfriend's chin. She had been so comfortable being lazy with her back against Emil's chest and her phone in hand, Megan felt the comfort of the moment. A familiar warmth that wrapped around her like a protective shield. The two of them lounged on her bed, watching a video, but her mind kept drifting to the bonfire. With a hand on his thigh, she adjusted a bit up and turned up her head slightly to meet his eyes.
"Maybe we should go check it out,"
she mused in a nonchalant manner, her tone low but curious.
"Iโ€™ve been hearing about it all dayโ€ฆ might as well see what the hype is."

It was true... the minute those words left her lips, she sort of regretted it. Honestly, she could hear the faintness of the crowd in the background, more evident if the window had been open. Gnawing on her lower lip, she swung her legs along the bed's edge to slip on her boots as she awaited the verdict of their potential night change of plans from him.
"So? What do you say for an unusual hang at the bonfire, love?"
she tilted her head a bit to tuck a couple of vibrant red strands behind her ears from the loosely braided hair she donned right now.

Megan was sure he was not going to deny her the opportunity to witness something new at least once. They had been deprived from so many things in their lives that it was nice to have their small moments of enjoyment from time to time. It rekindled something in Meg whenever they shared such moment. It gives her the motivation she doesn't know she is looking for at most. It was her first year after all. What's the use of sitting in a dorm when you can lurk around to see the atmosphere around her. Get a lay of the land a bit more.

The red-head was nothing if not prepared. She wanted to recon all she could around her fellow peers. First impressions. Who to avoid, who seems okay as far as Megan's standards and well... she was certain that the smell of delicacies was slowly wafting it's own way to the dorm building right now.
"Hmm, maybe even continue the nightly part of my tour? I can smell ..."
she jokingly sniffed, especially since the window was closed,
"... BBQ? doughnuts?"

A subtle chuckle escaped her lips at her attempt to point out that she was also getting a little bit hungry. If there was food being offered, she was not going to shy out. It was no secret her finances drained with the new apartment in the works but also... she still had to be careful on her spendings.

From the moment Ben stepped foot on the WDU campus that morning the grin hadn't faltered from his expression. Not only was he thrilled to be back at the school that he absolutely adored but this year he had the added bonus of his best friend, Haruki being here with him. Whilst Ben thoroughly enjoyed college life last year he found himself constantly missing his best friend and wanting to have all these new experiences with him and now he finally would.

Whilst he hadn't actually applied to be a school tour guide due to the fact that he had spent most of the previous year wandering around lost, Ben was pretty upset to find out that he wasn't automatically given the responsibility of showing Haruki around, as if the school administrator would know they were friends. He was content, however, in the knowledge that he would get to show his friend the more secret spots of the college, the spots that couldn't be shown in the traditional tour.

He had spent most of the afternoon unpacking and preparing his room for that semester before deciding to take a stroll around the grounds, taking the scenic route as it were to kill time before the bonfire would officially start.

The excitement on campus was somewhat contagious and even with being a second year student, Ben couldn't help but feed into the first years excitement as he wandered the grounds. His attention being brought left and right as excited new students made new friends and old ones reunited.

A familiar voice broke through his thoughts and his head immediately turned towards the source, his grin only growing as he spotted his friend waving at him. Without any hesitation, Ben began to walk towards him "Hey! how'd it go? who was your guide? do you like the school? isn't it great? "did you see the robotics lab?" he excitedly asked him.

Uptown Funk

The last year at Walt Disney University felt like a ticking clock, each second closer to the inevitable goodbye. Eugene didnโ€™t do sentimental, no, not really, but it gnawed at him more than heโ€™d starting to even begin to admit. He couldnโ€™t shake the bittersweetness of it all. As he swung by Leahโ€™s house to pick her up for their road trip a couple of days before as per their annual tradition, he tried to keep his cool as best he could. It did not take much effort for Finn but he did not know what about the blonde made him see through him as if he was made out of see-through glass. Normally, heโ€™d be cracking jokes or singing along to the radio, but today, the bike ride was quieter. He hoped she didnโ€™t notice how tightly he gripped the handle bars to his motorbike which was rather off. As much as he loves rough-housing and not really taking the time of his life to be gentleโ€ฆ the only thing on the planet (emphasis on thing) he handled with care was his precious Maxima, his army green Harley Davidson (here).

Thoughts or lack thereof aside, university ending had one silver lining, one though; their endless road trip. No rules, no schedules, just the open road and his best friend. That, at least, was something to look forward to and he has been ever since they started planning it in their first year.

Settling into campus had never been his thing. Thankfully, Leah had it down to a science. She got his dorm key, arranged his timetable, and somehow made the chaos of moving in seem easy and simple. Heโ€™d grunt in thanks, knowing she didnโ€™t need words to understand his appreciation. He had ducked out as soon as he could, though, throwing himself into a cold shower and heading for a jog was all that was on his mind to get himself into proper motion again, especially for tonightโ€™s festivities.

The jog was his reset. The pounding of his feet on the pavement, the steady rhythm of his breathing, the burn in his legs. It was the one time and place he could think without overthinking. Not that he ever did overthink. Here, he didnโ€™t have to worry about what came next or how to put his feelings into words. Everything felt lighter after a run, and by the time he got back to his dorm, he was ready to tackle whatever the night threw his way.

Thankfully, his roommates hadnโ€™t changed. After the nightmare of his first year dorm mate, he had been skeptical about new people. But since second year, things have been smooth sailing. He didnโ€™t bother learning their names; except for Alison, his โ€œquasi-sister,โ€ as he called her. But they didnโ€™t seem to mind. Most of his time was spent either at the campus gym, Leahโ€™s dorm, or the practice field anyway.

After another quick shower to scrub off the sweat from his jog, all the emotional derailment of the day was taking its toll and needed to catch some zโ€™s. Nothing but a quick nap would fix it at all. The male slid into his room and dimmed the blinds to his window, kicking back into bed with a content sigh as the warm sheets comforted his cold and bare back, momentarily closing his eyes. He knew to take a mental note to text both Leah and Alison that he had settled, especially Ally, since Leah was so courteous to actually settle him butโ€ฆ by the time he remembered he was fast asleep.

โ—‰โ—‰โ—‰

The sound of the alarm was faintly heard in the background as the male struggled to wake up. Naps were his downfall most of the time whenever he felt like this. With a couple of rubs to his eyes, he slowly sat up with a couple of grumbles before rolling himself up to find something suitable to wear. Opening his luggage, which was not even unpacked, he rubbed the back of his neck in thought before finding a blue sweater that matched his blue sweatpants. It was sporty but with a casual flare. Not that he bothered with style - his lingo was - loose and comfy for when the sporting need arises, after all. Sliding his white hightops, Eugene emerged from his dorm, peeking over at Alisonโ€™s room to see if she was there but sadly, she wasnโ€™t.

He still has not seen her yet, weird. With a sigh, he looked at the time and made his way to his meeting point with Leah which was originally the bonfire center. However as he approached the bonfire, he couldnโ€™t help but feel the familiar buzz of energy in the air. The massive flames roared in the center of the clearing, sending embers crackling into the night sky. The orange glow cast long, flickering shadows over the gathered students, who were laughing, chatting, and challenging each other to feats of strength and daring.

It was his kind of scene.

Dressed in his usual laid-back athletic style, he carried himself with that effortless confidence that made people naturally turn their heads when he walked into a room and usually not the good kind. His broad shoulders and towering frame didnโ€™t hurt either, and the firelight danced across his sharp features, giving him an almost cinematic presence. A few familiar faces called out to him as he passed, and he answered with a nod or a quick wave, but his eyes were already scanning for something, or rather, someone.

Before he could spot his familiar blonde, though, a different opportunity caught his attention. A small crowd had formed near the edge of the fire, their collective cheers and jeers directed at a guy who was flexing his biceps and boasting ever so loudly. The guy was showing off his strength, taking on anyone willing to challenge him in pull-ups, push-ups, or whatever else the crowd could come up with.

Eugeneโ€™s lips curved into a sly grin. This was too good of an opportunity to pass up. To not show off his skills.

He strode toward the group, his steps purposeful, and the crowd began to part as they noticed his arrival. His reputation preceded him.
โ€Well, well, what do we have here? Hey, big guy,โ€
Eugene called out as he approached.
โ€œShowing off, huh? Hope you donโ€™t mind some real competition,โ€
he said, his voice carrying easily over the noise. He tucked his hands casually into his pockets, his smirk growing as he addressed the show-off,
โ€œYou looking for a real challenge, or is this just for the audience, champ?โ€

The guy turned, clearly sizing Eugene up. He hesitated for a split second before puffing out his chest, refusing to be intimidated.
โ€œYou think you can do better?โ€

Eugene chuckled, the sound low and amused.
โ€œOh, I donโ€™t think, man. I know.โ€

The crowd erupted into cheers and laughter as the tension shifted into excitement. This wasnโ€™t just going to be a contest; it was going to be a show. Eugene thrived in moments like this, where the spotlight wasnโ€™t just on him but shining because of him. There once was a time where he was tiny, where he was skinny and so scrawny that he was barely even noticed. Invisible. Due to countless self-fights and struggles, that boy was in the past. Never to be shown again no matter how easy it was to shift back. The key was gaining an increase in his own self-confidence.

He rolled his shoulders, flexed his fingers, and stepped into the center of the circle with a casual confidence that said, This is my stage now. The crowd closed in tighter, eager to see what was about to unfold. Eugene loved the rush of it. The way the adrenaline kicked in, the way the eyes on him pushed him to be even better. For a moment, he forgot about everything else; about the lingering weight of this being their last year, about the strange ache of knowing these moments were finite.

This was his element. And he was just getting started.

Challenge No #1: Arm Wrestling.

The makeshift "arena" was a rough-hewn wooden table, the kind that had probably seen countless games of cards, spilled drinks, and bonfire stories over the years. Eugene rolled up his sleeves, exposing corded muscles that flexed casually as he gripped his opponent's hand. The crowd leaned in, their breath held in anticipation.

โ€œYou sure about this, big guy?โ€
Eugene teased, his voice dripping with mock innocence.

โ€œJust try me,โ€
his opponent shot back, a confident smirk on his face.

The referee; a girl in a university hoodie who had clearly taken up the role on a whim, counted them down,
โ€œThree... two... one... go!โ€

The crowd erupted as the match began. Eugene let his opponent press first, holding firm but pretending to struggle just enough to keep it interesting. His jaw tightened as he gave a small grunt, but the twinkle in his eye betrayed the fact that he was playing with the guy.
โ€œIs that all youโ€™ve got?โ€
Eugene asked, voice calm despite the tension in their locked arms. Then, with an effortless push, he slammed his opponentโ€™s hand down. The table shook with the impact.

The crowd roared. Eugene leaned back in his seat, giving the guy a casual shrug,
โ€œGood try, though. Not bad.โ€

Challenge No #2: The Plank.

โ€œLetโ€™s see how long you can hold, Mr. Show-Off,โ€
the challenger said, clearly eager to redeem himself.

Eugene dropped into position with a cocky grin, forearms pressed firmly into the grass, his body straight as a board. The crowd circled tightly around them as both men locked eyes, determination etched on their faces. The first few minutes were easy. Eugeneโ€™s opponent tried to distract him with small talk, then with taunts, but the jock didnโ€™t bite. He simply smirked, keeping his breathing steady and his core locked.

Five minutes passed and then seven. By the eighth minute, the other guyโ€™s arms were trembling, sweat dripping from his forehead. Eugene, on the other hand, looked entirely too relaxed.
โ€œYou good down there?โ€
he asked, tilting his head to glance at his competitor with his own hint of sweat.

The guy tried to hold on, but his arms buckled, and he collapsed into the grass with a frustrated groan. Eugene straightened up, brushing dirt from his hands.
โ€œGuess endurance isnโ€™t your strong suit either, quite a close call to me thoughโ€
he quipped, earning another round of cheers from the crowd as he could feel the burn in his core and arm.

Challenge No #3: Push-Ups.

The third challenge drew a tighter crowd. Push-ups were straightforward - no tricks, no games. Just raw strength.

Eugene and his opponent dropped to the ground as the referee barked out the rules.
โ€œChest to the ground every time! No cheating!โ€

At first, they moved in sync, matching each other rep for rep. By the fiftieth push-up, the crowd was counting along, the rhythm picking up speed. Sweat began to bead on Eugeneโ€™s forehead, but he kept his pace steady, his breathing controlled. His opponent started faltering around the seventy-fifth push-up, his arms shaking with the effort. Eugene didnโ€™t let up, pushing through the burn in his shoulders and arms. By the time the guy collapsed, Eugene had hit eighty and he threw in an extra one for good measure, grinning as he rose to his feet.

โ€œThree for three,โ€
he said, smirking down at his competitor,
โ€œThis is getting embarrassing for you, huh?โ€

Challenge No #4: Tree Branch Pull-Ups.

For the fourth challenge, the referee pointed to a sturdy branch on one of the old oak trees near the bonfire. The branch stretched wide, perfect for pull-ups. Eugene and his opponent jumped to grab hold, their hands gripping the rough bark. The crowd began chanting as they pulled themselves up, one after another.

This one was close. Both men were strong, their movements smooth and controlled. Twenty pull-ups in, neither showed signs of stopping. By thirty, the crowd was screaming, urging both men to keep going. Finn could feel the burn in his arms, but he wasnโ€™t about to let up. He glanced sideways at his opponent, who was gritting his teeth, determination etched across his face.

Then came the slip. On the thirty-fifth pull-up, Eugeneโ€™s opponent lost his grip, dropping to the ground with a frustrated shout. Eugene tried to hang in there for a moment longer, but failed as his arms gave out just briefly enough to land on both feet. โ€œA tie, my man,โ€ he said, the smirk back on his face. But as the crowd cheered, he heard a familiar voice cutting through the noise.

That was until he heard a familiar voice he could hardly miss. Leahโ€™s call cut through the noise, and he turned to see her waving, her blonde hair catching the light from the fire. She was making her way toward him, weaving through the crowd with a smile that always made his chest feel lighter. He turned, spotting Leah weaving her way through the crowd, her blonde hair glowing in the firelight. The sight of her brought a grin to his face.

Seeing his beautiful companion sifting
โ€œNo need to apologise, I was schooling this chump here on real strength and endurance,โ€
he mused before looking down at her with a soft smile as he returned the embrace briefly due to his sweaty situation, yet again. It was times like these where he blessed his loose clothing. As he focused on Leah, a new and final challenge came to mind,
โ€œYouโ€™re just in time for the grand finale,โ€
he said with a grin as she wrapped her arms around his, a type of warmth he yearned for more than he cared to admit.

โ€œLucky for you, youโ€™re part of it,โ€
He turned back to his challenger, cocky smirk firmly in place. โ€œAlright,โ€ he said, clapping his hands together to draw everyoneโ€™s attention.
โ€œWeโ€™re keeping it simple this time. Squat holds - weighted, of course. First one to give out losses, bites the dust. And, as always, Iโ€™ve got the best weight right here.โ€
He pointed a thumb toward Leah, earning a chorus of laughter and cheers.

It was true. The amount of times that the female had to endure being part of his training, were endless. He figured from her laughs and giggles she always enjoyed them and he enjoyed those joyous sounds that fill the gym with quite hearth.

His competitor raised an eyebrow, confused, but Eugene was already gesturing to the branch.
โ€œBest out of five, right? Letโ€™s make it interestingโ€ฆโ€
he dared as he awaited the agreement of his competitor and his best friend as he shot her a wink and crouched down on the ground,
โ€œTrust me?โ€
he muttered as he invited her to sit on his shoulders.

Shooting the man opposite a grin,
โ€œOf course, you gotta find your own girl to lift, budโ€ฆ this one is taken,โ€
