Walking Dead RP

Sooo...If we don't get anything from either of the moderators by midnight tomorrow I vote @Fantasy Crazy and @RiahB in to the RP. I'm sure the decision is unanimous cause we all want to move the RP along and keep it interesting. However, anyone against that or against any of them joining speak now or they're in (given that the moderators don't show back up before the deadline).

Well that's mean and kind of weird of them. But we can just vote on Character Acceptance from now on. And meeting them in town sounds like a plan, Cain.

Description: Larry has cropped dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a leaner physique. He wears a shoddy set of military fatigues and a combat helmet, as well as a chest rig with various pouches and such. He carries around an expected M16-type rifle, which looks in somewhat bad condition. He has a New York Army National Guard patch on his shoulder in addition to a backwards American flag. He's not particularly tall, standing at about five feet and seven inches.


PERSONALITY:


Overall: Although Larry is just a lowly private (...and in the National Guard), he a has massive fucking superiority complex and an inflated sense of authority and importance. He thoroughly distrusts every single person that he encounters, unless they look like some kind of civil servant. He views everyone as having degenerated into looters, and is convinced that the infection is the product of bioterrorism or a foreign attack. He is prone to shooting and asking questions later.


Likes: Pornography, raspberries, cotton candy, cigarettes


Dislikes: French people, Catholics, the United Nations


Flaws: Irritable, paranoid, selfish, confrontational


Abilities: Part-time military experience & training


BACK STORY: Larry is/was a member of the New York Army National Guard, and was called up during the early outbreaks to assist in attempting to contain the infection. Most of his unit became killed in the initial chaos when the city was overwhelmed. The remnants of his unit retreated to the outskirts, and then most of the remainder got killed as well. His commanding officer declared him as "Acting Corporal" before being devoured by walkers, and he takes that position quite seriously. He believes that the infection is only confined to one region of the country, and believes that the government is still active, and that he is still operating under it- though, he still seems to act as if he's the last civilized person on earth, at times.

BACK STORY:

When the apocolypse started, Rori's mother was already sick, one day a horde of zombies made it into their house. Rori tried to fight them off as best she could but they had gotten her mother. They had gotten her because she was trying to help Rori. Because of her sickness, she was almost paralyzed, so when she pulled herself off the bed the zombies attacked. Rori was forced to stab her mother in the head, it would be easier than to see her turn. Her dad had walked out on her when he was seven so she could care less if he was dead. Rori has been on her own now, hiding, killing zombies, not getting bitten. This was the 'norm' for her now.​

I say we accept them all and have them all start in the Town that Lachlan and Jason are headed to. It should call for some crazy outcomes. If any one wants their character to get shot to add Drama, just approach Jason with a weapon drawn.

Description:


Mayt is a dark haired, latina female. She dons a pair of amry cargo pants and combat boots. Also, she has a dirty ACU t-shirt and her dog tags tucked neatly under the material.


PERSONALITY:


Overall: Mayt is not a bad ass military killer. The army was a lifestyle that allowed her think clearly in terrifying situations and know an m16 or m4 like the back of her hand, not walk through death like she's seen it everyday. It's unrealistic. She's logical and can put aside her emotions fairly well. She is resiliant. She has the ability to bounce back from situations and events fairly quickly. She's also pretty maternal.





Likes: Chocolate. Mayt loves chocolate so much. If chocolate were a man, she'd be a walker. (wow). She enjoys late ninety punk rock, her M4 , which she named Barbra, and is relatively useless because ammo for that doesn't just lay around. It is mostly used for blunt work on Walker skulls. She also enjoys story telling.


Dislikes: Mayt will not put up with disloyalty. Or catty jerks. or raisins.


Flaws: Mayt has a temper that can lead to dire situations. She aslo has a habit of wandering off by herself and slight PTSD. Not from her one deployment, but from a traumatic life before the military. She can be what the group needs and doesnt take her own needs into account, believing it is insignificant (can also be an asset). Seeing Walker children or dead children hits her very hard. It takes much longer for her to bounce back from.


Abilities: Mayt is certified in the highest level of combatives (The Army's fighting style that consists mostly of ground work (wrestling)). She knows how to use M4's, M16's, and M9's. She is physically fit.





BACK STORY: Mayt was deployed only once as an MP (military police) before she switched her MOS to intelligence. She was deployed fresh from AIT (ADVANCED INDIVIDUAL TRAINING) and spent 6 months in the middle east. She joined the military fresh out of high school to start anew and go to college for free.


When the apocolypse broke out, Mayt was an E-5, or a sergeant, and was actual back home in New York on leave. She was called in to fight the hoard with other troops and watched her Battle Buddies ripped to pieces by the dead. She escaped by shedding that heavy IOTV (VEST) and ACH (HELMET) and hauling serious ass out of there. She tried to make it back to headquarters but the place was surrounded by fellow dead soldiers and civilians. She often battles with the guilt of living and leaving, trying to make up for it with being as useful as possible.


Her family life consisted of nine brothers and sisters, her being the oldest daughter. She took care of the younger five and protected them from the fights and abuse that raged through her home throughout her childhood, or lack there of, even if that meant taking the heat herself. it spurs her protective instinct and love for children.

Hello.


To answer all questions. Yes we dropped the rp. When we wanted to come back you guys had a lot written down and we didn't have the time to read all that had happen. Also our personal lives have been busy. I am about ready to graduate and start college and Ferno just got back from college. I don't have the time to constantly be here. I didn't think my life was gonna get so busy towards the end of the year but it did. I'm sorry that we are leaveing but you guys have been doing good on your own so I don't think it will be much of a difference.
 
So, what exactly is going on right now? Not just in the to, but in general.
 
Jason and Lachlan are in a nearby town searching for supplies. It's early morning sometime. They are meeting up with Mayt now. While that's happening Sean, Carter and Joey are in the substation waiting for them to return. Other than that, zombies and war. Lol. Anything that you specifically need to know just ask or check out the back stuff.

PERSONALITY:


Overall: Garcia's personality revolves around laughs. This led to him gaining school-wide popularity and the nickname of 'humor'. He took his jokes so far that he had an existential crisis as to whether he was a genuine joker or an erratic sociopath. He has trouble empathizing with people since he took to alienation and laughing-it-off when he experienced tragedy.


Likes: Fresh breath, throwing ball, Elvis Presley, naps, a good laugh


Dislikes: Feet, wind, rusty metal, naps being interrupted, people who can't take a joke

Flaws: Astigmatism; left eye is high above average whilst right eye is good for nothing (contemplates gouging it out), depression, sociopathic indifference to another's feelings


Abilities: High athleticism and hand-eye coordination, jiu-jitsu training, good at calculating and planning strategies


BACK STORY: As merely a 15-year-old, his school life was relatively smooth, he almost never had problems with anybody. In fact, he was with friends at a theater during the initial outbreak. His upper-middle class parents raised him as a pretty good kid, both of them being military. Garcia could never point out the origin himself, but he had an immense love for baseball and became quite good at it, even mentoring his fellows who never really learned it. He came to be a brother at 12, although never actually completely adapting from life as a single child. On the dawn of the epidemic, both his parents and brother perished in two separate incidents. As a result, he fell in a depression, but his humor retained itself, resulting in a bipolar wreck.

Description: Before the apocalypse, Christian was a weekly weight lifter, which means he has a very bulky and muscular build. He stands at about 6'1 and weighs around 205 pounds, he has a habit of always wearing the same protective outfit (seen above) only wearing a vest and shorts when not.


PERSONALITY:


Overall: Ever since the start of the apocalypse, Christian has suffered as much as anyone, his tragedy has led to a deep level of emotional damage, and suffering from night terrors. Living has become more of a chore for him, and his state of mind is warped, the loss of his son means he is overly attached to other children. He is prone to being easily angered, and doesn't hold much loyalty to other adults.


Likes: Nature, a good meal, alcohol, to be noticed, friends, children, and his blades.


Dislikes: Cities, people who try to take charge, bandits, anyone mean to children, internal conflict in a group and being alone.


Flaws: Emotionally damaged by past trauma, often overly protective of children, easily angered, not very tact, suffers from night terrors. Sometimes only cares about the wellbeing of himself and children.


Abilities: Great strength and an extremely brutal brawler, as well as a high pain tolerance with an affinity for intimidation. Very experienced in zombie slaying.


BACK STORY: Before the apocalypse, Christian was a weekly weight lifter, and worked as a bartender, life wasn't glamorous, but he got by, and it was all worth it for his son, Harry. When the apocalypse hit, he wasted no time in getting out of the city - or trying. The attempt was doomed to fail, he tried to escape too late. And upon crashing his car due to the chaos, he made a run for the woods, unfortunately they were pursued. He tripped over a stray branch, and his daughter was bit. Using his previously ornamental blades, he battled the zombies and barely won. Yet could do nothing to save his son, as he died in Christian's arms, he was forced to leave him when he turned. Since then, he has been scavenging in less populated areas, barely surviving. Unlike most, he hasn't turned on other humans, always trying to maintain his humanity as it is all he has left.
