I Hear A Hummingbird!
Albedo Winterfree
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Surrealist
Corviknight | Golduck | Arcanine
Indeedee | Meditite | Toedscruel
Appearance & Persona
Albedo has bright teal eyes with three dots in each iris, pale skin, and pale blond hair reaching below his shoulders. Due to being a synthetic human, a gold diamond marking can be found on his neck. Most of the time he keeps his hair in a small tail that is hung in a similar way a man bun is. Sometimes he wears glasses, though they aren't particularly for the need of seeing, but just for the natural effect. Albedo also wears ear piercings, sometimes have a piercing connect from his ear to lip.

Albedo's personality combines intense curiosity with a striking, sometimes eerie calm. His mind is an intricate labyrinth, filled with an endless thirst for knowledge and a drive to understand and experiment. Driven by a constant need to unravel the world's mysteries, Albedo can become wholly absorbed in his work, almost to the point of obsession. He's meticulous, examining even the smallest details with a scientific eye, and views the world around him as an intricate puzzle waiting to be solved.

Although he seems detached from emotion, Albedo is remarkably self-aware. His insights often go beyond mere observation, understanding both his limits and the consequences of his actions. He prefers logic over impulsive behavior and rarely lets his emotions cloud his judgment, giving him an unshakable presence that others find both impressive and intimidating. This careful control, however, sometimes makes him appear distant, as if he's observing life from afar rather than truly living it.

In social interactions, Albedo is polite yet reserved. He tends to keep others at a distance, not out of arrogance but due to his introverted nature and the belief that too much distraction could hinder his focus. Those who seek his company often find themselves captivated by his vast knowledge, but they must work to gain his trust if they wish to see beyond his analytical exterior. For those who do, Albedo reveals a dry wit and subtle humor, balancing a touch of charm with his otherwise stoic demeanor.

Albedo’s moral compass is complex. He’s guided less by conventional ideas of good and bad and more by what he sees as the value of knowledge and discovery. This can make his actions unpredictable to others, as his curiosity sometimes pushes ethical boundaries, especially when he prioritizes understanding over consequence. Despite this, he doesn’t act with malice; his intentions are almost clinical, driven purely by an unyielding quest for truth.

Hidden beneath Albedo's intellectual exterior is a slight vulnerability, a whisper of uncertainty about his own nature and place in the world. While he rarely shares these thoughts, he occasionally reflects on his purpose and the impact of his actions. It’s a quiet reminder that, while his mind may be sharp and scientific, there’s a subtle human side that emerges, hinting at an inner depth that even he continues to explore.
Background
Albedo had grown up in Wyndon, Galar, all the while taking a satisfaction for music. He has taken his time on searching for Pokemon, and recording the sounds one can make. His knowledge of such noises are exquisite, since he has been doing this for a long time. He just liked collecting these, and afterwards, would sometimes edit them into a song. Not every trainer knew that a Pokémon's melody could be a good hit.

Though, he only sometimes sold out discs of his creations, and all the others kept them to himself. His research, his findings, he wasn't selfish. It was simply Albedo's prize. He had, in one of his years at his school when he was younger, had became the valedictorian at some point. It was one of his gracious moments, because he technically won that title due to his interest of Pokémon that was seen in a different way.

Albedo's ace Pokemon is a Meditite, who absolutely refuses to become a Medicham. He can note that it wasn't because of a terrible bond they didn't have, but perhaps that Meditite didn't want to adjust into another body, and would rather stay as is. There was indeed some features of new moves Medicham would get, so there was a chance Meditite was afraid of change. Whatever the cause was, Albedo didn't mind it at all.

Ice Cold, Baby Blue; The Jayfeather Wins
Cosmo Tocci Winterfree
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Pianist
Vulpix | Smoochum | Maractus
Butterfree | Decidueye | Kirlia
Appearance & Persona
Cosmo has light blue hair that is long enough to run down to his ears, often brushed down in a messy way while one strand curls upwards. His eyes are an ice blue, which sets him apart from his non-biological family who owns tealish-green eyes. His clothing choice goes through more of baggy fashion, and a color scheme of light hues like gold, white, and more blue (sometimes even green on it's own time).

Cosmo is a quietly positive and compassionate individual whose resilience shines through in even the most challenging situations. While not overly exuberant in his optimism, he maintains a calm, encouraging demeanor that uplifts those around him. His subtle positivity is complemented by a deep inner strength, allowing him to weather hardships with grace. Cosmo has a particular fondness for sweet treats, finding joy in the simple pleasure of a fresh-baked pastry or a handmade dessert. This love for sweetness mirrors his kind heart, though he prefers to express his feelings through small, thoughtful gestures rather than overt displays.

Although composed by nature, Cosmo has a shy streak that makes him reserved around new acquaintances. This quiet nature contrasts sharply with his fear of Ghost-type Pokémon, whose eerie presence can send shivers down his spine. While he occasionally musters the courage to face them, these encounters often leave him unsettled, and in some cases, he may lose his composure entirely. His instinct to stay composed is a source of pride, but when faced with his phobia, Cosmo’s vulnerability becomes apparent, reminding those close to him of his human side.

Frustration is a rare but significant emotion for Cosmo, especially when he repeatedly loses something he values or falls short of a goal he worked hard to achieve. In such moments, he leans heavily on his adopted brother, Albedo, whose understanding and steady nature provide the reassurance Cosmo needs. Their bond is a cornerstone of his emotional strength, and Albedo’s presence serves as a grounding force when Cosmo feels overwhelmed. The mutual support between them highlights the deep trust and connection they share, proving that family isn’t always defined by blood.

Cosmo has a profound love for the cold, drawn to the crisp, fresh air of winter, which mirrors the icy blue of his eyes. The season fills him with a sense of peace and renewal, making snowy landscapes and frosty mornings his favorite settings. Whether it’s taking a brisk walk in the snow or simply gazing at a wintry sky, Cosmo finds solace in the cold’s quiet beauty. This affinity for winter reflects his personality: cool and composed on the surface, yet deeply warm and caring at his core, a blend of resilience and kindness that makes him truly unique.
Background
Cosmo Tocci was an ordinary boy who soon got disowned. Cosmo Winterfree is the new and improved, adopted and loved boy who grows besides Albedo Winterfree though not related. Cosmo's older brother always had a penchant for music, and for some reason, he approved of that, His fingers could work greatly together, in delicate, swift movements-almost like a Pokémon running.

After time came to play in his life, Cosmo had found the passion in tuning out the piano. At first, he figured he was terrible with instruments in general, but he had found a friend that was an expert in this sort of field. After that, he started to get more comfortable with his new skills and took them on like a game challenge he just had to hurdle past. Castro Garden, one who was the confident fellow, was basically Cosmo's tutor now but also a friend that was the same age as him.

Due to Albedo adoring his Meditite a lot, Cosmo got so many chances to battle against his 'brother's partner Pokémon. Though, after trying, and trying again, Cosmo hadn't quite reached the level to defeat the psychic and fighting type creature. The worst of it all was that it hadn't evolved fully. His goal was to train his Pokémon to defeat his brother, which would mean he was one more percent to actually being the best trainers-a side quest, obviously. Albedo was good, but not the best.

The Indigo Songbird
Castro Garden
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Violinist
Poliwhirl | Lilligant | Quaquaval
Kilowattrel | Alakazam | Honedge
Appearance & Persona
Castro has golden-amber eyes that can pierce deeper than most gazes, which is accentuated by his dark, navy blue hair that is cut asymmetrically so that his bangs and other parts were either longer or shorter on one side. He fashions more of loose, silk, but intricate clothing-fairing very different from his musical apprentice. Castro wears a blue earring with a gold tassel on his right ear.

Castro is a man of intriguing contrasts, combining a quiet and unassuming demeanor with a streak of playful mischief. On the surface, he often comes across as polite and studious, especially when interacting with older adults or figures of authority. He has a knack for maintaining composure and earning trust with his respectful and thoughtful attitude. Yet beneath this composed exterior lies a daring spirit, always ready to embrace the unexpected and seek out adventure. Castro’s subtle sense of humor and playful nature often catch people off guard, making him a charming enigma.

Despite his reserved nature in formal settings, Castro thrives in more relaxed environments, where his gregarious and chatty side shines. He loves connecting with people, sharing stories, and exchanging ideas. His conversations are laced with wit and genuine curiosity, making him an engaging companion. His adventurous tendencies often lead him to explore new places, try unique experiences, or test his boundaries, sometimes pulling others into his escapades. This duality of being both a calm observer and an outgoing adventurer makes Castro an adaptable and magnetic presence.

Castro has an undeniable love for Water-type Pokémon, admiring their fluidity, strength, and adaptability. He often spends his time near lakes, rivers, or the ocean, finding solace and inspiration in the soothing sounds of water. His Pokémon companions reflect his own personality—calm on the surface but brimming with energy and capability underneath. However, when it comes to food, Castro is surprisingly picky; he has an intense dislike for carrots but a deep appreciation for seafood and baked goods. Since these treats are a rare indulgence for him, he savors every bite, often sharing his favorite finds with friends.

At his core, Castro embodies a balance of respectfulness and mischief, seriousness and play. His ability to adapt to his surroundings while staying true to himself endears him to a wide range of people. Whether he's quietly studying or leading a daring adventure, Castro has a knack for leaving a lasting impression. His love for Water-types, combined with his dual personality, makes him as dynamic and unpredictable as the waves he admires.
Background
Castro had known Cosmo Tocci before. It's just that, Cosmo never realized it. Castro had went to the same school back then with the other, but after a while, this light blue haired boy vanished completely. Several years later, he made a grand run in with a whole entire 'different' person that didn't recognize him. Cosmo Winterfree.

Cosmo had been looking for a musical tutor to help out with piano skills, and while Castro was a lowly violin player, he understood more things about instruments themselves than not. While the two friends chattered to one another doing sessions, Castro got to learn about Cosmo's older brother- Albedo Winterfree. They weren't related, since Cosmo obviously was adopted, but Castro honestly figured the 'brother' was a good guy.

Since Cosmo had a fear of Ghost-Type Pokémon, Castro hadn't told his friend about Cheryl Fae. The girl was all about spooky stories and teasing people, and Cosmo would practically die and wither away if he saw the brunette haired trainer. Castro got used to her antics, knowing there was always more than what met the eye. He had made a mental note to challenge her some day, when she really became a Ghost-Type Gym Leader.

Hypnos Eclair
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Rationalist
Ceruledge | Armarouge | Tinkaton
Meowscarada | Orbeetle | Shiinotic
Appearance & Persona
Hypnos has blue eyes that are framed with red eye liner, as well as dark indigo hair that leads towards his ear. It is cut so that he has choppy bangs coming around his face-similarly to like a male hime cut. Hypnos likes using the triadic color scheme for his palette of clothing choices (red, blue, and purple specifically), and sometimes adds a even touch of white and black around.

Hypnos is a deeply layered individual, outwardly sharp and aloof yet carrying an inner complexity that reveals moments of vulnerability and depth. He often adopts a sarcastic and witty tone, using it as both a shield and a weapon to keep others at arm's length. Despite his caustic exterior, Hypnos possesses a keen intellect and an almost unshakable confidence in his abilities, making him a formidable figure in any setting. He values his independence fiercely, viewing reliance on others as a weakness he cannot afford. However, beneath his cold demeanor lies a deep-seated yearning for understanding and connection that he rarely acknowledges, even to himself.

Despite his guarded personality, Hypnos is incredibly perceptive, often reading situations and people with remarkable clarity. This sharpness, paired with his pragmatism, allows him to make calculated decisions in the face of challenges. Yet, this self-reliance often leads him to reject help, even when he could benefit from it, driven by a stubborn belief in proving his own strength. In battle, Hypnos showcases a flair for strategy, preferring moves that outwit his opponents rather than brute force. His team of Pokémon reflects his personality, with partners that share his cunning and elegance, creating a synergy that exemplifies his calculated approach.

Though Hypnos struggles with his identity and past, he occasionally allows his softer side to emerge, particularly when he feels a strong bond with someone. These fleeting moments reveal his capacity for loyalty and even tenderness, traits that surprise those who manage to break through his guarded exterior. He is fiercely protective of those he truly cares for, even if he has difficulty expressing his emotions directly. His inner conflict between his sharp edges and hidden warmth creates a dynamic and unpredictable personality, leaving others curious about what lies beneath the surface.

Hypnos’ journey is one of self-discovery, as he navigates the complexities of trust, purpose, and belonging in a world that often feels at odds with his nature. While his tendency to keep people at a distance can make him appear unapproachable, those who take the time to understand him find a companion of rare depth and loyalty. His enigmatic nature and unyielding resolve make Hypnos both a challenging and inspiring figure, someone who continuously evolves alongside his Pokémon and the bonds he forges with them.
Background
Hypnos had been born into the Paldea region, having his starter Pokémon as a Sprigatito. Eventually, he had bonded with his pokemon enough so that it had became (present day) a Meowscarada. He tends to feel more accomplished when he fully evolves his Pokémon, which is why he tries his best to do so- so long his team wants to do that too.

Hypnos' family was a bit broken up, with his father and mother divorced. He was allowed to sometimes visit his dad on the weekends, but other than that, he lived under his mother's roof. She apparently had a Braxien still with her to protect her and the house since she had so far stopped leading herself into Pokémon battles. Hypnos sometimes took up his time to challenge his mother's Braxien for fun, and often got 'bullied' in the end since he was evidently weak. Though, he was glad, since each time he had over come a thing he needed to let go through every loss.

Hypnos had once met a boy with platinum blonde hair, who was also Hypnos' neighbor. He got to see the other child through the balcony heights sometimes, but after a year, the disappearance dawned on him that the boy had moved away. Hypnos was a bit sad after that, but shrugged himself out of it. The world was just so small, surely he'd meet the boy again-even if he knew nothing about them just yet.

The Pale Sky Brings Rain
Magnus Castillo
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Irrationalist
Banette | Masquerain | Glaceon
Jigglypuff | Ribombee | Salazzle
Appearance & Persona
Magnus has platinum-blonde hair, also having a red streak to highlight it, that is mainly tied up in a low ponytail. His eyes are red, and he finds joy when people situate him with autumn colors. His whole attire is one like a Canadian leaf, not quite stating what exactly he puts on, but more like he has a free choice. A few bandages layer his arms and hands, though not fully covering his fingers. Over it, partially, stands fingerless gloves as well.

Magnus is a serene and thoughtful soul, carrying himself with a quiet grace that draws others in. His demeanor is calm and measured, a reflection of the inner peace he strives to maintain despite the shadows of his past. Magnus rarely speaks of his hardships, preferring instead to focus on the beauty of the present and the joy he can bring to others. His gentle nature is matched by his politeness, and he is often sought out for his comforting presence and wise words. His love for travel stems from a need for freedom, a way to explore new horizons while leaving behind the weight of what once was.

A creative and meticulous individual, Magnus finds joy in the art of giving. He takes pride in crafting handmade gifts, often wrapping them with care and tying them with a signature red ribbon—a personal touch that represents his connection to the recipient. For Magnus, the act of giving is as meaningful as the gift itself, a way of expressing gratitude and kindness without the need for grand gestures. His appreciation for simple, heartfelt moments makes him a beloved companion to those who know him.

Magnus’s favorite season is fall, a time he cherishes for its vibrant colors and the quiet reflection it inspires. He has no preference for any particular type of Pokémon, seeing each one as unique and special in its own way. This perspective reflects his broader outlook on life: that every person, creature, and experience has value. His ability to articulate his thoughts with clarity and compassion makes him an excellent mediator and source of comfort, whether he’s sharing his perspective or simply listening.

While Magnus’s calm nature is his hallmark, he is not without his limits. Though rare, his anger manifests in quiet, sharp honesty or a stern gaze that cuts to the heart of the matter. These moments are not born from malice but from a deep commitment to truth and fairness. Magnus believes that his calmness is a reminder of his humanity—a testament to the resilience he has cultivated in the face of adversity. His journey is one of balance, finding peace in the present.
Background
Magnus had a father-figure of his as a best friend, especially since his family spent too much time at work. He had even put a nickname on his friend-a name that actually meant 'friend' in Japanese. He hadn't realized it's meaning until the day his friend had died, and he had found the note his friend left last of what the definition was. After that, he had requested to move.

Magnus was born in the Paldea region, often taking walks on the streets, and all the while being forced into Pokémon battles. But one thing has caught his eye. Every morning, there would be this indigo haired boy watching from their window sill, as if wanting to know what Magnus was doing outside. He was a bit glad, not for the 'stalking part', but that someone actually cared to watch what he did. But, unfortunately, since he had asked to move, his parents hurried that a bit too quickly.

Magnus was gone, and he couldn't help but feel bad for the mysterious boy. Whatever, he could shrug it off...he could...not. He had made a mental note that he'd at least go back to the region he was first raised at, to relive the memory of where he used to have a home at. Maybe he was hoping to see the other trainer, though, more than just visiting again. They both would be way different, he knew that, especially since they'd be grown, but childhood attachments were always a pain.

Magnus turned up to be a person who gave away free things. He liked to make crafts, (as said in persona) and was honestly good at it too. Wood carving, clay modeling...would scrapbooking count? His father had saw this and actually took some time to make snow globes with him, which he turned out to be really happy. Then, after he had decided he collected enough things handmade, he'd bring them out to a little booth...and...do his stuff!

Surprises Are What She Seek!
Adele Frost
★★★★★★
Female / Nineteen / Dreamist
Greninja | Squirtle | Ampharos
Scrafty | Espurr | Trevenant
Appearance & Persona
Adele has pale blonde hair. Her hair is cut in a short and choppy bob with two longer shoulder-length locks of hair framing her face. Two light blue and white flowers are clipped to the right of her head, while a couple, pale blue feathers are sidled onto the left. Her color scheme consists of white, light blue, and gold. Her eyes shine as a liquid, golden-amber, which is similar to her brother's.

Adele is a gentle yet complex individual, someone who navigates life with a mix of quiet reflection and bursts of childlike wonder. Her anxiety often makes her cautious and hesitant, but when faced with challenges, she surprises even herself with her courage. Adele doesn’t shy away from her emotions, and her openness allows her to process them quickly, leaving little room for grudges or bitterness. While she’s more comfortable in smaller, quieter settings, she radiates a subtle warmth that draws others to her. Her empathetic nature allows her to connect with people on a deeper level, making her a dependable friend and confidant.

Though introverted by nature, Adele has a playful side that emerges in the company of close friends. Her childlike personality brings joy and lightheartedness, even if her humor leans toward the sarcastic when someone does something silly. Her laughs are soft and genuine, a sound that has a way of putting others at ease. Adele’s demeanor is a delicate blend of tranquility and quiet happiness, and her presence feels like a calm oasis in the middle of life’s chaos. She balances introspection with moments of unfiltered joy, making her an endearing and dynamic companion.

In the midst of Pokémon battles, Adele becomes someone entirely different. Her calm demeanor and fluid movements make her seem like a seasoned professional, exuding confidence and precision. It's a surprising transformation, considering her usual anxious tendencies, but it’s in these moments of focus that her inner strength truly shines.

Adele’s love for nature is an integral part of who she is. She’s especially drawn to white flowers, finding peace and beauty in their simple elegance. Whether walking through a meadow, resting by a river, or sitting beneath a tree, Adele feels at home in any natural setting. Her ability to relax and appreciate the world around her is a testament to her resilience and her desire to find joy in life’s small pleasures. To her, every habitat has its charm, and every moment spent in nature is a reminder of the calm and beauty she strives to embody.
Background
Adele lives in a family of four, the third member being her older brother Vernon Frost. Technically they were identical twins, but he was just a bit older than her by a few seconds-to-minutes. They share both of their mother's appearance, but a bit more of their father's habits. She had grown up feeling she'd never want a brother, the same with Vernon on his part, but after reaching present time she could agree that she wouldn't want to live without her sibling.

When Adele was around the age of fifteen, she found a dark, blue haired boy going around with the name Hypnos Eclair. Vernon says Hypnos isn't a good influence, but she still tries to make use of a friendship between the other trainer. Eventually, she was like a talisman clinging onto Hypnos for good luck. She must've indeed brought some luck, because she was there when Hypnos had managed to evolve his ace Pokémon.

Adele is really fond of Nightmare, who is Hypnos' Ceruledge now. She wasn't quite sure why the boy named his partner that, but when she had asked, all he had to say was, "A Nightmare is not one without the Knight (Night)." The saying was actually to resemble how Hypnos' Armarouge was a knight in shining armor, while Ceruledge was the opposite and rather the Nightmare of Dusk.

★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Normalist
Buneary | Clefairy | Grapploct
Midday Lycanroc | Pyroar | Solrock
Appearance & Persona
Vernon is tall, and has a more vibrant, saturated shade of yellow-blonde hair than his twin. His hair is cut at somewhat medium length with uneven bangs at the front, and a waist-length braid is settled at the back. Vernon's color scheme primarily consists of black, gold, and white-which excludes how his sister goes well with blue. He has the same color eyes as Adele does, which is a liquid, golden-amber.

Vernon is a lively and optimistic individual, always looking for the silver lining in any situation. His extroverted nature makes him a natural conversationalist, and he thrives in social settings where he can connect with others. Vernon’s helpfulness shines through in how readily he offers support to those in need, whether it’s lending a hand with a task or being a listening ear. His compassion runs deep, and while he may tease or joke with those he cares about, it’s clear his intentions come from a place of genuine affection and concern.

Despite his friendly and approachable demeanor, Vernon has a sharp wit and a tendency toward sarcasm. His humor often lightens the mood, but it also serves as a way to express his thoughts when things get too serious. Vernon is incredibly protective of his younger sister, Adele, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Though he trusts her judgment, he can’t help but be wary of anyone who shows romantic interest in her, often playing the role of the overprotective older brother. His protectiveness is born out of love, but it can sometimes come across as a little overwhelming to Adele.

Vernon is humble and selfless, rarely seeking recognition for his efforts, though his short temper can sometimes get the better of him. He’s not one to hold grudges, but he’s quick to express his frustrations in the heat of the moment. His expressive nature means he wears his emotions on his sleeve, and he’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes is right. At the same time, Vernon is deeply empathetic and quick to apologize if he feels he’s overstepped. His authenticity and openness make him a dependable friend and someone others naturally gravitate toward.

One of Vernon’s favorite things is the thrill of a thunderstorm, with its rolling thunder and crackling lightning filling him with a sense of awe and energy. He’s drawn to the raw power and beauty of electricity, finding it both invigorating and inspiring. This love for nature’s intensity mirrors his own dynamic personality, balancing his vibrant, extroverted side with moments of deep reflection and wonder. Whether he’s helping someone through a tough time, cracking a sarcastic joke, or watching a storm roll in, Vernon embodies a blend of warmth, strength, and authenticity that makes him an unforgettable presence.
Background
Vernon is the oldest of the twins in the family, Adele Frost looking nearly identical to him. They bicker a lot more than one can think, but at least nothing of what they say is what they mean. He can pull off as the protective sort, but maybe really is a bit too much. His sister had once started talking about a boy named Hypnos Eclair, and Vernon nearly jumped out of his skin. After much persuasion by Adele, he let it off with a light mark of scorn.

Besides that, Vernon started going on his own adventures. He figured that if he was going to travel, he was going to do it with a squad. He practically started to collect people-easily too! One member was named Magnus Castillo, the first crewmate 'onboard'. Vernon had put two nicknames on the other members, though they both surely had real names, which were The Bard Of Lowly Riddles (Bard For Short), and Diamond-Hearted Serpent (Serpent For Short). He didn't put one on Magnus since they were a bit too kind to mess with.

<These Characters That Are Bolded Are Just OCs Of Mine, Do Not Fret>

In his...'free time', or just in general, Vernon enjoys readying himself for Contests. Competing against other trainers is what he likes to do, especially with Pokémon that are 'expected to lose'. It all just matters how a trainer trains his team, anyway. Technically he'd be a Pokémon Coordinator, but what more is a title that does nothing than a nickname?

Diamond-Hearted Serpent
Severin Sylvester
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Stoicist
Malamar | Spiritomb | Crobat
Aurorus | Inteleon | Volcarona
Appearance & Persona
Severin has very dark green hair of medium length with tealish undertones at the roots, swept back with two neck length locks. He has piercing cat slit pupils and golden irises for his eyes, and bears a purple marking on his forehead as the shape of a diamond. As much as he likes to dress casual, he can sometimes give off the usual high schooler look since he almost always wears something that has ruffles, or maybe just a tinge of looseness in it. Severin doesn't necessarily appreciate 'non-clean' appearances though.

Severin is a reserved and introspective individual, often the quietest member of any group he finds himself in. His demeanor carries a natural coolness that can come off as distant or aloof to those who don’t know him well. Beneath this calm and composed exterior lies a sharp intellect and an even sharper tongue. Though he rarely engages in verbal spats, Severin’s words can be cutting when provoked. He’s not one to show anger through loud outbursts or visible frustration, instead choosing to convey his emotions through dry, biting remarks or pointed sarcasm. His restraint and measured approach often leave others guessing what he’s truly thinking.

Despite his seemingly cold disposition, Severin has a subtle humor that he reserves for his close friends. In the company of people like Vernon Frost and Magnus Castillo, he occasionally cracks dry, understated jokes that catch others off guard. This rare glimpse of his playful side is enough to remind his companions that he’s far from unfeeling. His competitive streak also emerges during Pokémon Contests, where his determination and flair for creativity shine. Severin may not seek the spotlight, but his methodical approach and knack for elegance often leave a lasting impression on judges and spectators alike.

One of Severin’s defining quirks is his aversion to water. He despises getting wet unless it’s on his own terms, which is why he’s rarely seen without the clear umbrella strapped neatly to his back. This aversion extends to Water-type Pokémon, which he tends to keep at arm’s length. However, his dislike of water doesn’t prevent him from appreciating its beauty from a distance—he finds a certain tranquility in watching the ocean or rain falling against a window. His deliberate care to avoid unwanted wetness adds a touch of humor to his otherwise stoic personality, especially when his friends tease him about it.

Severin’s favorite season is winter, a time when the world mirrors his own temperament. The cold, quiet stillness of snow resonates deeply with him, as he sees it as both pure and subdued—qualities he often attributes to himself. To Severin, winter is a season that allows for reflection and calm, a reprieve from the chaos of warmer months. Though he might not show his emotions openly, those closest to him know that Severin’s loyalty and steadfastness run as deep as his icy composure. Beneath his frosty exterior is someone who values the bonds he shares, even if he prefers to express it in his own reserved way.
Background
Severin had grown up in the Johto Region, alongside a now close friend named Valeri De La Fontaine. In other words, his friends were given the nickname of The Bard (though there was definitely a longer version of that). The both of them were dual opposites, him not being much chatty, while Valeri was the guy that could bring a crowd in. Sometimes he figured Valeri was stupid, but after a while, he realized that actions' consequences only happen later in time.

Severin had achieved his own nickname; The Serpent, by two other fellows that had somehow swamped everyone into a friend group. Magnus Castillo had luckily avoided the mess Vernon Frost was creating with these silly titles, yet he soon outgrew the weirdness of it and now found it more comforting that the four of them had even remembered to care to call one another things.

The encounter of these trainers had been when Severin and Valeri had come across a booth that was selling wood carvings and such. Magnus was the one hosting all of these projects, and Valeri wanted in on some bidding. Magnus, after a while of persuasion, had finally gave in and placed posters around for a bidding of one of his crafts. Severin was there to watch, practically clucking his tongue all day towards Valeri since the boy just clearly enjoyed spending currency. In the beginning, Valeri could have just got away with getting a free item, but now telling Magnus to do this...was insufferable.

Of course, Valeri ended up winning, and was equally traded a large statue of a Pokémon. It was indeed useless, in Severin's opinion, and Valeri literally couldn't take it anywhere. That was when Vernon had appeared as one of Magnus' helpers to clean up the booth. Gradually, Valeri's boastful energy had matched Vernon, so then Magnus and Severin were left to the side as the other two conversed. In the end, they spent the rest of the day together while exchanging information for another hangout.

The Bard Of Lowly Riddles
Valeri De La Fontaine
★★★★★★
Male / Nineteen / Hedonist
Vespiquen | Goodra | Bombirdier
Pichu | Machamp | Chimecho
Appearance & Persona
Valeri has fair skin, aqua green eyes, and short black-ish blue hair with short twin braids at the sides of his face that fade into aqua blue. He wears (as a signature outfit) a frilly white top with a corset-like leather midsection, along with teal shorts with gold embroidery, a matching teal cape held together by a deep blue and gold bow. He also wears white stockings with three gold diamond shapes along each leg and a beret-like hat with a Cecilia, which is his favorite flower.

Valeri is a lively and enigmatic individual who exudes an air of carefree charisma, often masking his inner thoughts behind a playful façade. He delights in clever wordplay and frequently peppers his conversations with rhymes, riddles, and poetic musings. His love for music is evident in the gentle strumming of his lyre, which he uses to express himself when words fail. Valeri views life as a canvas to paint with vibrant colors, rejecting constraints and reveling in the freedom of choice. He is drawn to Cecilias, flowers that symbolize freedom and individuality, resonating deeply with his desire to live unrestrained by rules or expectations.

Beneath his cheerful exterior, Valeri possesses a profound appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Apples, in his opinion, are the quintessential fruit—original, vibrant, and universally appealing. He admires their bold red hue and sweet flavor, which he likens to the experiences that make life memorable. This view of the world is a cornerstone of his personality, allowing him to craft wise sayings effortlessly, much to the amusement and admiration of those around him. Valeri often shares his musings with a mischievous grin, bringing a spark of joy to those fortunate enough to cross his path.

However, Valeri's lively demeanor belies a deeper, quieter struggle. Despite his outward confidence and charm, he wrestles with feelings of loneliness that he rarely shares with others. His playful attitude and whimsical nature serve as a mask to shield himself from vulnerability. The paradox of his personality lies in his desire to connect with others while keeping parts of himself hidden. This tension drives his philosophy of "living life to the limit," as he seeks to fill his days with meaning and experience, even if he sometimes feels isolated in his journey.

At his core, Valeri is a complex soul with a heart that longs for connection and understanding. His zest for life and artistic inclinations make him a captivating presence, but his hidden depth adds a layer of poignancy to his character. He navigates the world with a mix of lightheartedness and introspection, embodying the beauty of embracing life's dualities. For Valeri, every note of his lyre and every riddle he spins is an attempt to bridge the gap between the joy he shares with the world and the solitude he feels within.

Valeri believed with all his heart that Pokémon should never be forced into training or battles against their will. To him, every living creature deserved the freedom to choose its own path, unbound by the expectations of others. Pokémon, with their unique spirits and personalities, were companions, not tools, and their bond with a trainer should be built on trust and mutual respect. Just as Valeri cherished his own freedom—the ability to wander, to create, to live without constraints—he felt it was a privilege every being, Pokémon and human alike, should have.

For Valeri, freedom wasn’t just a luxury; it was a necessity, a force that gave life its vibrant colors and boundless possibilities. Training Pokémon, in his eyes, should be an extension of that freedom, a shared journey of growth and exploration, never a chain to bind or a rule to enforce. That belief was what he loved most about life: the untamed, unbridled liberty to be who you were meant to be.
Background
Valeri, residing in the De La Fontaine family, had always put up the 'rich kid' filter for everyone to see. He wasn't like that, when raised back then. He wanted to show off a few things when going to his academy, but things weren't buying it for his family. Struggles were visibly rare to see in Pokémon Trainers, but that was what he was experiencing. Most kids his age would assume that his last name would mean his wealth, since his own did seem to have a nice ring to it.

Because of this, Valeri had often started to push himself to the limit on things. A cheerful smile playing his lips, and the absolute wonder of playing an instrument. He wasn't allowed to play one, especially due to the non-importance of doing so. But, he didn't like to be held back. What he could, and couldn't do was something of his own choice. The thing that helped was meeting Severin Sylvester. The trainer's perspective of life was way off of how Valeri saw it, and it potentially freed Valeri from his mental cage for a moment.

He could easily reach out for his goals, and had actually found a way to support his relatives like anyone 'normal.' Severin was like an iconic duo of his, but Valeri made sure they stuck like glue together. Severin was heavily important to him, and Valeri knew Severin caught some subtle hints he had given. It'd be cringe to say, but the "power of friendship" gave an honestly, positive outlook on his life.

When one thing met with another, Valeri and Severin had formed a group with two other Pokémon Trainers; Vernon Frost and Magnus Castillo. Vernon's energy had complimented Valeri's hyper-active one, and the fact Severin and Magnus could easily cool them both off when they caused too much of a ruckus was the best part. Limits exceeded him, at the moment.

Though, his journey has continued on still. Outside the little squad Valeri joined, another trainer named Heizou Synopolis had granted a small relationship with him. This was the only person that Valeri could slightly drop his mask towards, since Heizou seemed like the type to not spill any secrets. The guy himself was a bit introverted, and Valeri wouldn't mind helping Heizou out with social interactions. It would be like teaching Severin to do so.

The Glove For The Hand
Angele Monette
★★★★★★
Female / Twenty / Pessimistic
Blaziken | Espathra | Cacturne
Dragonair | Zoroark | Minior
Appearance & Persona
Angele is a fairly tall woman who has pale skin and eyes that have pure black irises, with a red "x"-shaped pupil. Her asymmetric long length snow white hair has occasional black streaks swept to the right side of her head. She normally wears black and white snowflake patterned earrings, for the sake of representing a dead friend. Her clothing style often reflects off of poker card colors, which are red, black, and white. Angele also has a preference of wearing heels, unless under circumstances.

Angele is a person of subtle complexities, a woman who values her independence and principles above all else. She has a strong aversion to greed, finding avarice to be the root of much suffering and dishonesty in the world. Despite this disdain, she maintains a composed and polite demeanor when interacting with others, even those she finds distasteful. Her nonchalant sarcasm serves as both a shield and a tool, enabling her to communicate her thoughts without causing unnecessary conflict. She firmly believes in living by her own moral compass, often comparing her actions to “helping a wilting flower in winter”—a quiet effort to bring goodness into the world despite its challenges.

Angele’s view of the seasons reflects her practical and balanced outlook on life. While others might favor one season over another, she sees the necessity of all four, appreciating how they work together to sustain life. She has an affinity for magic shows, finding solace in the artistry and illusion they provide. Watching magicians perform is one of her rare indulgences, allowing her to disconnect from the rigidity of her day-to-day life and marvel at the creativity of others. However, this enjoyment is something she keeps private, preferring to revel in such moments in solitude.

Physical contact is not something Angele welcomes easily. She has clear boundaries when it comes to affection, finding repeated hugs or excessive touching to be uncomfortable. A handshake is fine, but anything beyond that crosses into unwelcome territory for her. This reserved nature extends to her relationships, where she values emotional connection over physical gestures. Despite her preference for distance, she has a surprising knack for juggling—a talent she dismisses as pointless yet keeps sharp nonetheless. It’s a small testament to her ability to master skills, even those she deems frivolous.

When it comes to helping others, Angele’s approach is distinctly situational. She has a soft spot for children and the elderly, going out of her way to offer assistance or kindness to these groups without hesitation. However, her generosity is less consistent with people her own age. In those cases, she decides on a case-by-case basis, helping only if she feels the cause is worth her effort. This selective empathy can sometimes make her appear aloof or detached, but those who truly know her understand that her actions, however measured, always come from a place of sincerity.
Background
Angele had been brought up in Castelia City, Unova Region with a friend of hers declaring a relationship at childhood. Unfortunately, the one that had continued to age was only her, and not her friend. That was when she started to wear her friend's earrings on a day-to-day basis. Having something her friend had too was a good keep sake she wanted besides her most of the time. She always thought it could bring a sense of luck, even though it was a stupid idea. Her friend was honestly really lucky, besides her dismissal of life.

Castelia City had enough towering buildings to amaze Angele, but she found out later on that alleyways weren't so pleasant. Often there would be as many gangsters around as there would be street battlers. It was a place of risk, either losing or finding some pride on the ground and wearing it like a badge. Since the area was mainly urban, she had found out physical contact was much of a popular thing. Her parent's relatives would ask for a hug, and she'd just back away. This caused some problems under her roof, to a point she had never left her gloves from her hands. It was a way to prevent real skin meeting her, even during handshakes.

Casteliacones are obviously the signature treat, and for some reason, it has been something Angele liked to enjoy with her Pokémon occasionally. If she had been traveling and decided to come back to the Unova region, it would be so that she got to retaste this snack in the same old café she had practically grew up by. She didn't have much of a sweet tooth, and preferred fancier sights (without complex seasonings, that is). Something like steak seemed normal, but if someone ever mentioned that there was possible chances a Pokémon was in her food, she'd throw it out.

You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.

Green Lantern Witch
Evangelyne Hopkins
★★★★★★
Female / Twenty / Sentimentalist
Toxicroak | Zoroark | Drampa
Rotom | Flapple | Altaria
Appearance & Persona
Evangelyne has pale skin that is complimented by her choppy, shoulder-length, blonde hair that fades to pink slightly and is tucked mostly behind her right ear. The strands curl inwards to frame her face, and she holds rose eyes that are dotted with light-blue flecks and white pupils. Her style is almost always dramatic, which shows, since she loves adding a fashionable hair piece to settle upon her head most of the time. Evangelyne owns under eye-round glasses, and is only ever seen without them under certain situations.

Evangelyne is an empathetic soul who easily connects with the emotions of others. Her warm nature makes people feel heard, though she tends to keep a calm and composed demeanor rather than being overtly expressive. She enjoys reading long texts, often losing herself in pages of intricate stories or detailed research. Her fascination with Dragon-type Pokémon stems from their strength and mystique; she admires their resilience and complexity, often reflecting on how their weaknesses mirror their own power. Her collection of Dragon-types is her pride, and she nurtures them with great care, believing they reflect her passion for understanding the extraordinary.

In her childhood, Evangelyne had a knack for experimenting with random liquids, leading to messy but endearing misadventures. Those playful experiments have now evolved into a career as a perfume maker, where her fascination with scents allows her to create unique and elegant fragrances. Despite her talent, she rarely shares her profession openly, preferring to keep it private except with her close friend, Angele. This secrecy isn’t born from shame but from a desire to avoid unnecessary attention and maintain a low-profile life. For Evangelyne, the art of creating perfumes is a deeply personal form of expression.

When it comes to her social life, Evangelyne is polite and approachable but doesn’t go out of her way to engage unless she feels genuinely interested. Gossip intrigues her, but she participates only when the mood strikes, often contributing with a quiet laugh or a knowing smile rather than loud boisterousness. Around Angele, however, her reserved nature softens considerably. Their bond allows Evangelyne to be more candid and relaxed, revealing a more playful side to her personality that few get to see.

Evangelyne’s perfectionism manifests in her love for clean spaces and appearances. She feels a sense of accomplishment in maintaining order and elegance, a stark contrast to the chaos of her younger years. Evangelyne has a natural flair for dance, often incorporating graceful twirls and flashy poses during Pokémon battles, which adds an elegant, theatrical touch to her style. She sees battling as an art form and enjoys blending strategy with beauty, making her fights as captivating as they are effective.

Her fashion sense mirrors this penchant for artistry—neat, stylish, and always thoughtfully chosen. She takes pride in her appearance and occasionally helps Angele pick outfits, offering her keen eye for detail to ensure her friend looks her best. For Evangelyne, fashion and movement are simply another way to express herself, blending practicality with creativity in all she does.
Background
Evangelyne had founds herself surrounded in a bustling city-sprouting life wherever she went. Castelia City was enjoyable, but there were just so many street rats she'd need to avoid. Her parents were the type to haul people in for a friend group, so she mostly sat down on a chair and looked like a pretty doll for most guests to see. Her boredom overtook her, and she pushed herself to literature. Old writings was a taste her tongue was attracted to, and soon enough, the aromatic perfume messages came into her studies.

At first, she thought it was just a little wish, but that wish grew. Evangelyne figured her family wouldn't like the idea of her taking up perfume making, so she just let the dream wither away in a dull space. But soon, her run in with a brute child had nearly disemboweled her Flapple. There were always rude people in the area, so what did she expect? Definitely not another trainer her age busting out a Hisuian Zoroark to fend off the harsh trainer.

The random girl who had made an appearance had ended up winning, and was given money in return of her win. Though, she had just tossed it to Evangelyn and was about to leave. Yet she couldn't just have a potential person running off her sleeve. A bit later did she learned that the girl's name was Angele Monette. At first, the white haired one didn't seem to like Eva at first glance, but they got along the more she stayed by Angele's side.

Angele, ever the 'enthusiastic one' (sarcasm), had been the one to actually give a sign of persuasion that Evangelyne should start making perfumes. Her chemical reactions when young were mere explosions, but right now she could surely mix up something that actually smelled nice. From then on, Angele had bee Evangelyne's muse when she needed to spray a dose on someone.

Soft Lipped, Filthy Tongue, Smooth Words
Fluerette Sartre
★★★★★★
Female / Twenty / Barganist
Togekiss | Growlithe | Golisopod
Aggron | Xatu | Nidoqueen
Appearance & Persona
Fleurette is a tall and very elegant young woman with fair skin, red eyes. She has long straight hair, half of it being tied into a wide bun resembling a bow and the rest is left to flow into two individual divided sections. Her hair is white and reaches her knees, where it fades into an ashy color. A red tassel is put on her forehead for 'decoration', and sometimes she switches for a dark blue one depending on what she is currently wearing.

Fleurette is meticulous in her approach to life, often planning her steps carefully to ensure the best outcome. She has a penchant for spending money on things she values, but her sharp bargaining skills often leave her with the upper hand in trades. This shrewdness isn't born from greed but rather a keen sense of resourcefulness. Fleurette believes in maximizing value, whether in deals or relationships, which often makes her the go-to person for advice on negotiations. Despite her calculating tendencies, she has an air of charm and warmth that makes her approachable to most.

Her natural friendliness shines brightest around children, whom she adores. Fleurette takes pride in solving problems, both big and small, for those around her. Whether it’s a simple errand or a more complex issue, she’s eager to help. However, she has a sly streak—if she senses an opportunity, she might offer assistance with an expectation of something in return. While this might come off as manipulative to some, her intentions are never malicious. She sees her actions as mutually beneficial exchanges rather than selfish transactions.

Fleurette has a deep-seated respect for Pokémon, viewing them as creatures with their own challenges and struggles. To her, being a trainer is less about ownership and more about partnership and guidance. She takes great care to observe their behaviors and provide solutions to help them thrive. On stormy days, however, her demeanor can shift to one that is colder or more distant. Fleurette believes this is simply part of being human and doesn't attempt to mask her emotions, allowing her expressions to reflect her true feelings.

Her appetite mirrors her selective nature—she only eats food she truly enjoys, and she has little patience for the concept of starving oneself for dieting. Fleurette doesn’t hesitate to express her views on body positivity, advocating for people to enjoy what they love without unnecessary restrictions. Her passion for life and people is rooted in her desire to improve the world around her, one thoughtful step at a time.
Background
The Saffron Market was probably the best place to ask around where Fleurette was, if she wasn't there in the first place. She would try any day to get things at a lower price, or help someone to gain something she needed. Though, she wasn't that desperate. Her coins could glitter on, and her real moto could just be that she wanted to offer reassurance in work. Some people would be surprised that she didn't have a Thievul yet, but...Fluerette honestly wouldn't want to be described as some thief. She didn't technically steal anything, did she?

Her family worked at a wedding parlor, and though they are always depicted as really nice, they aren't. Seeing a connected between two individuals was fine, but Fleurette was there to stop problems from running about. Whether it be a Pokémon or trainer ruining the cake, or a demand for a change of bouquet due to a mistake, behind the scenes couldn't really be seen by the camera. She didn't adore weddings, but she didn't hate them either. It was a human thing one should experience so long they wish for it, and live up to it.

In the end, Fluerette had sought out the idea of studying the histories of Pokémon. She disliked being considered a nerd, as that wasn't exactly what historians do or learn. She certainly didn't fit the appearance of one, but getting to surprise people of her knowledge was a thing she wanted to see. A friend of hers she knows was actually a Pokémon Racer, so their hobbies weren't compatible. Opposites attract.

Roxanne Nethers
★★★★★★
Female / Twenty / Competist
Rapidash | Steelix | Aerodactyl
Floette | Mimikyu | Mienshao
Appearance & Persona
Roxanne has long, waist-length dark brown hair and fair skin. Her right eyes are a deep ruby-colored hue melting into gold. Sometimes she has hair pieces in her hair due to a friend of hers giving them out as gifts, but her overall nature is dress more like punk style. She only ever has one earring-on her left ear-because she doesn't see the worth of having two earrings on at once. Because of this, she wears elongated earrings that can somehow make up for the absence of it's pairing. Roxanne carried around a red cloth, tying it over her left eye when she really gets into the heat of a battle. This shows how she feels of wanting to win, and how much she thinks luck should be on her side.

Roxanne carries an easygoing attitude that allows her to navigate life with a confident stride. She has a sharp sense of judgment, able to estimate risks and outcomes with impressive accuracy. While she respects those who earn it, she isn’t afraid to challenge authority when she believes it’s necessary. Her ambition is one of her strongest traits, always pushing her forward. However, she also knows that luck plays a role in every endeavor, which is why she ties a red cloth over her eye as a charm before important Pokémon battles.

For Roxanne, Pokémon Racing is more than just a sport—it’s a way to embrace freedom. She believes that racing side by side with Pokémon strengthens their understanding of movement, wind, and open space, reinforcing their natural instincts. The thrill of speed fuels her drive, but at times, she pushes herself too far, determined to improve at any cost. Thankfully, her friend Fleurette is always there to pull her back before she burns out. Their friendship is built on mutual support, with Fleurette offering a graceful balance to Roxanne’s relentless energy.

Outside of racing, Roxanne has a love for skateboarding, a passion she picked up naturally over the years. She’s constantly refining her tricks, flipping the board with ease and pulling off stunts that demand precision. Despite her thrill-seeking nature, she possesses an analytical mind, particularly in chess. Her strategic thinking allows her to anticipate moves far ahead, though when facing Fleurette, their games often become intense duels of wits and skill. She admires Fleurette’s elegance in the game, but rather than feeling envious, she appreciates how they challenge each other in different ways.

Roxanne’s preferences extend beyond sports and strategy to the simple comforts of food. She enjoys her meals hot or warm, savoring the way flavors meld together with heat. That doesn’t mean she dislikes cold food—it just doesn’t hold the same appeal for her. Things that are meant to be cool are a whole different subject than one that was accidentally left out and lost it's steam.
Background
Roxanne lived with two parents that had a habit of staying up late. Sometimes she too would get sleepless nights, spending more time with her family than not. She knew better than to not say her parents weren't lazy...but it did drag on a lot of weight onto her shoulders as she grew. Her relatives were irresponsible, unfit for the authority they were given. She had all the right to be glad she wasn't like them, but she also couldn't say they weren't so bad. Her family would always still be her family even if she cut ties with them.

Though, that didn't stop Roxanne from not achieving a rebellious nature from her mother and father. In most of her childhood, her skin would be littered with scars and scratches due to the stupid mistakes she'd make just to impress someone. On a day of skateboarding, she had accidently crashed into someone. She defends herself that it wasn't her fault since it was the corner block part, meaning she wouldn't be able to see the victim with a warning at least, but this little bump gave her a new friend.

Fluerette Sartre was a woman who was raised against a job for love birds. Little did Roxanne know, she couldn't quite figure her new friend as much as a nerd. Fluerette could tend to get stern when Roxanne had no apparent knowledge of something, but their relationship was healthy. In fact, because of Fluerette, Roxanne was brave enough to take up Pokémon Racing as a hobby. The two of them also learned chess together, but she couldn't deny that her friend was better at the game. Losing was inevitable.

Stars Can Go Anywhere
Artemis Ashlyn Starr
★★★★★★
Female / Nineteen / Astrologist
Espeon | Meowstic | Mareanie
Spritzee | Shuppet | Mothim
Appearance & Persona
Artemis has fair skin that compliment her pale, sea green eyes, which is followed up by her waist-length dark purple hair that turns slightly red at the ends. Her fringe is uneven, but it is something she hadn't bothered with in a while. All over her body can be daily astronomical accessories littered around, like a thigh crescent moon band and a star necklace. Her interest in such subject had brought a whole gallery collection of things in the same category of her storage. Technically, her outfits would be considered 'normal idol-wear' in present time days.

Artemis carries herself with a quiet pride, never quite crossing into arrogance but always confident in her own knowledge. Her fascination with astrology shapes much of her worldview, as she sees the stars as more than just distant lights—they are messages waiting to be deciphered. Counting constellations is more than a hobby; it’s a ritual, a way of connecting with something greater than herself. This deep connection with the cosmos influences her daily life, from the color schemes she incorporates into her outfits to the way she frames her thoughts. She moves through the world with an air of mystery, her enigmatic nature making it difficult for others to fully understand what she’s thinking.

Despite her seemingly distant demeanor, Artemis has a strong sense of self-worth and is incredibly pragmatic when it comes to her ambitions. She speaks her mind with blunt honesty, never one to sugarcoat the truth. While she values logic and discipline, she isn’t immune to emotion—if she ever finds herself flustered, her immediate reaction is to scold the person responsible, more out of self-preservation than actual annoyance. Passion and craft mean everything to her, and she dedicates herself fully to whatever she deems worthy of her time. As a Pokémon performer, she ensures that every detail of her performance aligns with her vision, whether it be through matching color schemes, shared Pokémon types, or the incorporation of astrological themes into her choreography.

Though she prefers to keep her distance from direct interaction with animals and Pokémon, Artemis holds a particular fascination with feline creatures. She appreciates their grace, independence, and elegance, often observing them from afar rather than engaging with them directly. Her hesitance to touch or bond with creatures she doesn’t fully understand stems from a deep-seated need for familiarity—she refuses to interact with something unless she has taken the time to analyze and comprehend it. This slow, methodical approach to forming bonds makes her a difficult person to grow close to, but those who are patient enough to earn her trust find her loyalty unwavering.

Beneath her composed exterior, Artemis harbors a passionate drive for perfection and a curiosity that never wanes. She thrives in structured environments, yet she yearns for the unknown, always seeking out knowledge that others overlook. Her sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude may make her seem unapproachable, but her intentions are rarely cruel. When she speaks, she speaks with purpose. When she moves, she moves with grace. And when she dreams, she dreams of the stars—of the vast, endless sky that holds all the answers she has yet to uncover.
Background
Artemis Ashlyn Starr-the long name only made 'long' due to her aunt choosing such middle name-was an ever so changeable child that could fill the house with just so many unearthly facts. At first, she didn't like her full name. What type of person would be born as "Madam or Mrs. Starr"? But after truly seeking astrology, she had practically bounded in joy from how convenient her last name was.

What had exactly brought Artemis into the art of Pokémon Performing? She always thought that wasting her time in front of a stage would just be useless-like she couldn't exactly earn anything by doing so. But not everything should be done just because you get something in return. Pokémon Performing was something that was given out of choice, like a new path. Battling other trainers was one sport, but actually expressing yourself in ways that didn't hurt other beings was...better for her.

Her first face-to-face show was mesmerizing-there was a Ponyta helping out with a contestant, flinging around fairy dust as it galloped around, and the twins Plusle and Minun helping out with mixing some Poke-puff pastries with another. Performing was a way to bond with Pokémon, and even if her nose was too caught up in astrology, she knew she would have to move on from somewhere. The only problem was, she didn't know how she was supposed to do once she was up there. She had a silent fright she'd just break into a cold sweat, and not be able to move.

But it wasn't exactly like that when she really tried for her first time. Just a few bedazzles there and dance moves getting swished from her partners, and she was already given a key. The feelings after that rushed into Artemis just as quickly as she had went through it all. Now she feels much more confident when she performs, yet her lingering feelings can always lurch when she sees others struggling. She's glad she overcame something like this, because if she didn't, she wondered what'd she'd be doing now without Pokémon Performing.

Fluffy Lil' Bunny!
Mimi Loka
★★★★★★
Female / Nineteen / Sympathist
Raboot | Raichu | Hydreigon
Milotic | Salandit | Hydrapple
Appearance & Persona
Mimi has soft, light pink hair worn in a side ponytail with a few loose strands framing her face, along with pale pink eyes and a generally gentle expression; she often wear outfits with pastel colors and delicate details like frills and lace, typically featuring shades of pink and white, with her most recognizable accessory being a pastel-colored bow in their hair. She has taking a liking to fluffy things, which would explain her favoring side for bunnies and such others.

Mimi is a whirlwind of emotions, shifting from joy to frustration in the blink of an eye. Her sensitivity often makes it difficult for her to express her true feelings, as she fears judgment or ridicule from others. Because of this, she holds back at times, but when she does let loose, her emotions come in a flood—whether that be excitement, anger, or sadness. Despite her inner struggles, Mimi is deeply in tune with her emotions and those of others, making her an empathetic and understanding friend. However, when others show her sympathy, she finds herself at a loss, unsure of how to accept kindness in return.

Her love for all things cute is evident in everything she does, from her wardrobe to the way she decorates her space. Fluffy textures, pastel colors, and soft fabrics dominate her fashion choices, creating a sweet and approachable image. Rabbits have always been her favorite animals, and her Raboot is never far from her side, acting as both a comfort and a source of confidence. Mimi’s adoration for cuteness isn’t just surface-level; she finds deep joy in the small, simple things in life and believes that a little bit of softness can make the world a better place. This gentle outlook contrasts with her occasional bursts of moodiness, but it’s all part of what makes her who she is.

As much as Mimi loves aesthetic and comfort, she is also a natural peacekeeper, seeking out conflict and doing her best to resolve it. Whether it’s a dispute among trainers or trouble brewing in the streets, she steps in when she can, offering a level-headed perspective despite her occasional emotional outbursts. Her strong sense of justice keeps her grounded, following her own principles rather than bending to what others expect of her. However, her childish energy often shines through, making her someone who can shift between mature discussions and playful antics in an instant. This duality makes her a unique and unpredictable presence in any social setting.

Mimi finds comfort in solitude as much as she does in connection, often retreating to her room to work on her art and animations. Creating brings her a sense of fulfillment that nothing else quite matches, allowing her to channel her emotions into something tangible. Though she enjoys interacting with others, there are times when she prefers to lock herself away, lost in the world of her own creativity. This balance of maturity and energy, understanding and seclusion, makes her a person who is hard to define yet impossible to ignore.
Background
Mimi was almost born with talent-the talent of trusting her gut and putting her decisions into art work. Traditional paintings don't amuse her, but digital screens do. The fact animating could just be so satisfying was what surprised her the most. She has spent most of her time trying to animate the motions similar to how Pokémon do-like running or battling. She can't find herself seeking out a battle much since she's took stuck in imagining it by herself.

Her freshly caught Scorbunny was just so energetic before that she liked going outside on travels with her Pokémon, yet when Mimi's little rabbit evolved into Raboot, at first she thought it's mood swings were unnatural. That made her thing she wasn't it's true trainer, but even after evolution, a Pokémon shouldn't have changed that much from what came from the inside. Even if Raboots can have the common nature of being cool-headed, it didn't mean it's previous form was any different.

On one of her own walks she had ran into Ferris Warner-a guy who had a Cinderace. Mimi had seen Cinderace's energetic nature, which bounced off how her Scorbunny used to be liked. Raboot was just a medium change, but with change came the intelligence. It was liked Scorbunny and Raboot each had good parts, such as positivity and then the knowledge, but Cinderace was the combo she had missed out on.

Luckily, this realization helped her and inspired her to not give up on her Pokémon. She's grateful-even for the slightest-when she sees her Raboot trying to hide a sneaky smile when enjoying something, because Mimi knows under that 'mask' is something that reflects off of her own personality. Mimi doesn't like to express herself in fear of getting embarrassed, which is probably similar to how her 'mon sees it too. It's all for the fear of weakness.

Jellyfish Glow Like Me
Atlantis Coraline
★★★★★★
Female / Nineteen / Photographist
Toxtricity | Delcatty | Noivern
Braviary | Baxcalibur | Clawitzer
Appearance & Persona
Atlantis has blue eyes and very long, blueish-white hair. Her bangs are tucked to both sides, save for a long section in the middle that almost reaches down to her nose, and her face is framed by a fairly long strand of hair on either side. Her voice is soft and calm, and she is generally inexpressive. She is left-handed, but is able to use both of her hands, making her an ambidextrous. Though, she still favors her dominant limb. Atlantis' styles portrays her emotions-which causes her to dress gloomily as if a ghost type Pokémon herself.

Atlantis is a person of quiet depths, her emotions often turbulent beneath a calm exterior. With Borderline Personality Disorder, she struggles with expressing how she truly feels, sometimes coming across as distant or indifferent. Despite this, she always tries to be kind in her own way, showing care through actions rather than words. She puts the needs of others before her own, often neglecting basic necessities like food or rest when she is focused on something important. Photography is her greatest passion, capturing fleeting moments of Pokémon, trainers, and landscapes that speak to her soul. Through her lens, she preserves the beauty of the world, even if she sometimes feels disconnected from it.

Though she tends to be antisocial, Atlantis has a remarkable memory, able to recall past encounters and small details that others might forget. She struggles to connect in casual conversation, yet she remembers the faces and words of those she has met, even if they do not remember her. Her fascination with dull and dark-colored Pokémon stems from a sense of understanding—she sees herself in their muted tones, believing that while they may not shine outwardly, their depth and beauty remain unmatched. Atlantis prefers quiet observation over active participation, often sitting on the sidelines of social gatherings, taking in every moment with quiet admiration.

Jokes and humor tend to go over her head at times, simply because she has never been as socially immersed as others. She finds herself puzzled when others laugh at things she doesn’t quite understand, though she tries her best to keep up. When given the time and patience, she can slowly begin to adapt and appreciate the warmth of companionship, though it is a learning process for her. Her soft-spoken nature makes her an observer rather than an instigator, but she is always listening, always watching, always remembering. It takes time to truly understand Atlantis, but for those who do, they find a person who feels deeply even if she cannot always show it.

Despite her quiet and delicate demeanor, Atlantis knows how to handle herself in a Pokémon battle. She does not rely on brute force, instead using strategy and patience to read her opponents and react accordingly. She values control and precision over reckless aggression, treating each battle as a carefully composed image—every move, every action, captured with intent. Though she may not always be confident in social situations, on the battlefield and behind her camera, Atlantis is sure of herself, proving that even those who prefer the shadows can shine in their own way.
Background
Atlantis had kept to herself mostly when her parents died when she was young-yet, she wasn't necessarily alone. Her aunt and uncle were always there for her, but she couldn't see things the same. The gain of BDP was quite a challenge for her guardians, because this made her not want to complete the needs her body wanted her to achieve. She could go a whole day without food-without a single pang too, but none of her relatives would've left her. Though, the feeling of something in her mouth sometimes made her feel the need to throw up.

Once she became a fully fledged Pokémon Trainer, she didn't know exactly where to start. She had found a lonesome Toxel that was practically asking to be cradled. All she could do was accept, and soon it was under her care. The Pokémon technically resembled one that played music, and such thin vibrations gave her comfort as she traveled. Atlantis' Toxel didn't stay in form for much long, and had evolved into a Lowkey Toxtricity. It technically showed that her choice of Pokémon was based off of her own nature.

Trainers could have all kinds of interests-like Pokemon Performing, doing athletic or aquatic sports, maybe some artistic drawings-but Atlantis had a different hobby. Photography. Using a camera was like a wish come true. She could capture a beautiful scene without having to worry about the world she felt that she wasn't apart of. She could be in the picture too, which helps let her know that maybe she did belong in some ways. Her struggles can simply be soothed by this type of craft, which is why her disorder hadn't made her do things that are too rash.

Play The Dark Strings
Lunette Li
★★★★★★
Female / Nineteen / Guitarist
Toxtricity | Talonflame | Druddigon
Skarmory | Pangoro | Kommo-o
Appearance & Persona
Lunette has long, messy, uneven, warm grey pigtails that reach down to her knees, fading into a darker grey at the ends; she also has heterochromia, with one turquoise eye and one pink eye. Her left leg is almost always kept uncovered in all of her outfits, while a long, black sock is risen all the way her right leg so it reaches just above her knee. Her ponytails each are separated by two white bows that are sectioned in the middle. She tends to like olden day styled dresses, those where they looked like night gowns sometimes. if she doesn't wear that, it's streetwear. Strapped to her back, a guitar case can be found since she plays the instrument.

Lunette carries herself with a sense of quiet confidence, her maturity evident in the way she handles challenges. She has an aversion to ice skating, a fear rooted in the instability of the frozen surface. While she embraces the cold and enjoys the sight of snowfall, the thought of losing her footing on ice unnerves her. Instead, she’s mastered the art of rollerblading, ensuring she remains in control of her movements. Her reliability makes her someone others can depend on, though she rarely boasts about it—her actions speak louder than words.

A melancholic air follows Lunette, not out of sadness, but because her tone naturally carries a subdued weight. She believes that exaggerated expressions are unnecessary, convinced that people who truly care will take the time to understand her. Music is one of her greatest passions, and she can often be found strumming her guitar or humming a tune. Her Amped Toxtricity shares her love for sound, and together, they resonate in harmony. She finds beauty in Pokémon that express themselves through melodies, cries, or even the rhythm of their attacks.

Her desire for precision makes her a perfectionist, someone who despises making mistakes. Before an important battle, she’ll quietly whisper hopeful wishes, as if sending them into the air will keep her from failure. Despite her reserved demeanor, she holds a strong well of determination within her. The fear of falling—both literally and figuratively—pushes her to work harder, but it also makes her hesitant to take risks. She admires those who can throw themselves into the unknown without fear, even if she can’t always relate.

Lunette has an eye for small details, finding comfort in the intricate designs atop lattes and tea drinks. The delicate swirls of foam and cream bring her a sense of joy, though she dislikes the taste of coffee itself. She has a particular distaste for anything sour, scrunching her nose at even the mildest citrus flavors. These small pleasures and preferences define her quiet world, where emotions are kept beneath the surface but felt just as deeply.
Background
Lunette had a pair of parents that were strict on what she needed to learn. Academic wise, how she brought herself manner wise, and to express herself. Time and time again would she fall past their expectations, or at least, until she had sought out the art of music. Her fingers could move well against the strings of a guitar, and she wasn't the type to enjoy country melodies. A rock and pop girl, not so much sparkling with energy until she really plays her instrument.

At one point, Lunette had entered a small competition with her Toxtricity. The last Pokémon still standing won, except the Pokémon were told to continue dancing the whole time. Of course, to her very surprise, she had aced this little 'concert' and was given a mini award. But amongst the crowd, a girl named Atlantis Coraline. A camera was propped in the trainer's hands-and she was taking photos of Lunette.

Lunette thought it was a bit creepy, but when she approached the other girl, she found out it was just because Lunette had the nice appearance that stood out amongst vibrant scenery. Atlantis had a Toxtricity, yet it was a Low-Key form. She always wondered the difference truly, besides the nature and abilities obviously, but that question had still yet to be answered. Because Lunette even bothered to talk with Atlantis, they learned more things about one another. That they were similar in some ways, which is how they are now friends present time.

Eowyn often keeps her hair settled down, since it looks fine that way, which causes it to cascade down her back. It stops just in the middle of her spine, not quite reaching her hips, but around her waist.

Eowyn is unusually skinny, a mark of her past where she had nearly starved herself countless of times to the brink of death. However, this type of build also holds some proper muscle. This came from her job-slinking around like a true assassin she was raised to be. Being slim was practically a necessity.

Eowyn has no body mods technically, but had been born with a ouroboros symbol etched onto the top of her back. Some other people she knows have different markings. These markings symbolize key traits of the person, and what happened to them in the past. She is different because she had this 'tattoo' from the very beginning, which makes others curious to what her family is all about.

Archons think Furina is good and did good. Hydro Dragon has things to say about archons but not Furina though. He says he will judge them all fairly one day even if everyone dies. One lie always follows another, and so "justice" awaits inescapably at the end. The ignorant see this as some kind of farce. But if they trace back to the source, they inevitably realize that they began by deceiving themselves.
@focalors
Furina is actually the human part of the Hydro Archon, Focalors. Focalors was the successor of the first Hydro Archon, Egeria, who granted humanity to the oceanids of Fontaine, an act the Heavenly Principles considered sinful. Focalors used Furina to prevent a prophecy from becoming reality. Furina suffered from severe self-esteem issues and paranoia.

"Listen, there is a disturbing growling in the wind. That's the sound of a long-forgotten sea monster having a nightmare." 'Huh? Why is it having a nightmare?' "Uh... I dunno, because fear has to manifest itself somehow?"
The Rain Is Out The Window Tonight
Furina is a whirlwind of theatrics and charisma, a performer in every sense of the word. She thrives on attention, weaving grandiose speeches and dramatic gestures into everyday conversation as if life itself were a stage. Beneath her flair for the dramatic lies a keen intelligence, sharp as a blade and just as precise. She plays her role flawlessly, exuding confidence and control, but those who look closely may notice the cracks beneath the surface. She doesn’t simply bask in the spotlight; she clings to it, as if letting it go would mean fading into irrelevance.

Furina's fear of Arlecchino stemmed from the fact that she had to pretend to be an Archon.

Underneath all the pageantry, however, there is something more fragile—a loneliness she would never admit to. Furina’s theatrics are not just for show; they are a shield, a way to keep others at a comfortable distance while ensuring she remains at the center of their world. She fears being forgotten, fading into obscurity, or worse—being seen for who she truly is.

that lantern rite was amazing, but sadly the emotions of fontaine have caught up with me!
Hu Tao and Furina have only interacted in the 2024 Lantern Rite event and most likely do not know each other that well since the two are from different regions. Furina originates from Fontaine, while Hu Tao resides in Liyue. Hu Tao and Furina share a lot of similarities, both in terms of personality and design. A funny thing about this, is that they act similar roles too. Hu Tao as Zhongli's 'director', and Furina as Neuvilette's. They both have went into situations of near death, if you could compare that.

i, focalors, welcome you to the nation of hydro and acknowledge the significance of your trip.
Furina, the Hydro Archon of Fontaine, considers the Traveler to be the closest thing she has to a friend, despite the complex nature of their relationship due to the Traveler inadvertently exposing her secret during her Archon Quest trial, which caused her significant emotional distress; despite this, she sees them as someone outside of Fontaine's politics who can relate to her on a personal level, making them a rare connection for her. The Genshin Fandom sees these two as a reasonable ship (Aether's POV).

Arlecchino appears to view Furina with a mix of respect and cautious apprehension, recognizing her as a powerful and potentially dangerous individual, likely due to Furina's position as a Hydro Archon.
Furina and Arlecchino have a complex and strained relationship, primarily characterized by tension and past conflict, where Arlecchino once attempted to assassinate Furina, leaving a deep sense of trauma and distrust between them; despite this, some fans speculate that their relationship could develop further in future story content, potentially leading to a begrudging understanding or even reconciliation. Essentially, Furina is terrified of Arlecchino, making their interactions tense and potentially dangerous for Furina.

Chess' hair runs to his mid-back while two strands in the front are at his chest. It is often set loose, with naturally styled waves that curve in the front, but he sometimes can be caught seen in a high ponytail.

    Main Accessory

As a knight, Chess is the only one and red armor with a red plumed helmet, whereas all the other soldiers have only a gold armor with a red plumed helmet. This difference shows status, and favoritism from the prince himself.

    Special Features.

Chess' theme is all about roses, which is why he might have some petals stuck in his hair or adorned into his armor when he is wearing it. He also has a personally made weapon, ordered by Roxwell the General, that fits his personality.
