History: While many marvel at his quick rise to prominence or his early success they often overlook his family history. His first Job at 21, while it was that of Senior Engineer at a very prestigious company, was provided to him by his father who happened to own the company. While it was hard work and definitively a trial by fire it wasn't as if he wasn't able to get away with the odd screw up or as if he was without help. After some years establishing himself within the company and being promoted to Chief Engineer the opportunity came for him to join the UKSA which had long been a dream of his and so, at age 29, he went from Senior Engineer at his fathers company to Junior Engineer at the UKSA. They might not have had the funding or influence to match NASA, ESA or many of the other big names but they wern't stupid and so, despite the glowing review of his ability, they remained cautious, knowing that family connections could be the driving force behind it. Despite this he went from being one of the Junior Engineers to joining the Senior staff. Another Three years and he was spearheading the UKSA Engineering department. During this time many job offers from the larger Space Agencies had been waved in front of his nose but he had refused them, despite some being quite lucrative indeed. He may have asked for various pay rises from the UKSA but it was unlikely he would ever actually leave as he was living his Dream.

On the counter argument many say that his raise to fame was purely down to his fathers powerful business clout, being a large supplier of the UKSA and while those facts are true he is also clear to all those who meet him that Henry is both an incredibly intelligent individual and also very driven. He received glowing commendation from his professors and during his time working for his father achieved both his Masters and Doctorate degrees while also managing to meet both his work and educations requirements, often exceeding both. From his position within the UKSA he would often be loaned out for a few months to other Space Agencies and had a major role to play on the engineering behind the FTL system. When the first manned test was to be carried out he pulled what strings he could to be on board with the argument that few, if anyone, knew the mechanics of the system more then he did and so he could study it in use and diagnose and issues better then anyone else that would be willing to take the small risk involved.

Personality: When he is not busy he can be quite jovial and kind those times are rare. When he has a project or a focus nothing takes precedence over its completion, during such times he forgets what the words rest and relax mean and refuses to form the sentance 'take a break'. When working he looses his joviality and is very no nonsense and determined, if it needs to be done he will get it done even if he is told its not possible.

Ever since Kord was a child, he has been enthralled by the stars of the night sky. This fascination with the night sky was only furthered by sci-fi movies and television series such as Star Wars and Star Trek which filled his mind of what might possibly be out there. The ideas and methods of interstellar travel presented by this type of media also filled Kord's mind of what humanity could accomplish in the future and if he would grow up to be a part of this milestone in human history. This fascination would stay with him though out his life.

His passion of space led him to do some light studying on the subject on his free time during his high school years, watching space related documentaries, reading articles, etc. Upon graduation of high school, Kord attended the University of California - Los Angeles and pursued a a degree in astronomy. After many years of study, Kord had earned his doctorate in astronomy and had applied for a career at NASA. As soon as news of the UNSS Einstein had reached him, he rushed to apply to be a part of the crew and was ecstatic once he was accepted, achieving his childhood dream of travelling the stars.

• Appearance:
  From the neck and above it is indistinguishable from a human. Its hair is genuine and under close inspection the same as any other human's. Its skin has a similar texture and elasticity to that of a mature human female's and its eyes, though at times revealing of its synthetic nature, are designed well enough to be on par with most normal humans. Modern androids and the composition of their skin has been the topic of many discussions regarding the uncanny nature of androids and humanity, and while there has been much speculation as to what exactly goes into making an android appear so human those responsible for the discovery have kept the secret closely guarded and refuse to provide official statements.
  As for the rest of its physique, Xandra's body is slim standing at an orthodox height of 5'10, and lacks the eerily human-like skin of its head and shoulders. It is instead covered entirely with a thin black fabric under suit which, when married with its bulkier white plated suit design that fits in over the top of the black under suit, resembles a clean and modern style of clothing which flawlessly conceals all of the android's inner workings. Though this clothing design has been used scarcely in the past it's regarded by many to be traditional android attire and helps in identifying androids from humans.

  The SE401's original schematic design, much to the surprise of many, dates back to the earliest stages of the rise of Yokai Industries and Slate Automata. These household names went from obscurity to international fame within weeks of each other after certain discoveries in the fields of programming and engineering turned science fiction into reality. The two companies branched into different fields to reduce direct competition with one another, with Yokai Industries focusing on companionship and domesticity and Slate Automata focusing on the military and high risk application of androids and machines. The two companies, rumoured to be sisters, slowly divided their focuses away from potential collaborative efforts in an attempt to further refine their intended markets. Due to the slow divide formed between the two companies concepts like the SE401 and other inter-company crossover models failed to see the light of day. Instead being stored away with many other 'failed' concepts.
  
  Unlike the story of the other archived projects, the SE401's schematics didn't remain stowed away forever. The project was discovered by an aspiring developer in Yokai Industries who sought to revive the project out of glory. His request was granted permission by the higher ups within Yokai Industries but would prove to be quite the headache when it came to convincing Slate Automata to participate. The project, after three months in approval limbo, was granted permission by officials in Slate Automata but usage of their software and components were withheld until substantial progress was made with the prototype.
  After two years of hard work the project encountered another hurdle when a smaller robotics group, 'Dan's Diesels', claimed that a certain wrist component was being plagiarised and that they demanded financial compensation as well as public recognition. While the claim was false it still set the budget for the project back considerably and lead to many of the staff members being relocated to more profitable areas. The original project lead remained with a decreased salary to keep more of the coders and mechanics on pay role. With the bad publicity of the model the entire concept was kept quiet from that point forward. That was until Slate Automata's share holders elected three new members for the company's board of directors. The introduction of new personnel, and the recent publicity of the model, caught something in their eye and encouraged them to renegotiate the terms of the model's construction.
  Slate Automata's passive role in its development became active and the prototype in development quickly came to its final stages. With the superior functional coding of Slate Automata at their disposal and the increased staff and budget, the project came to a close as they produced a final product. The prototype known as Ariel. Unfortunately, the conflict of programming styles and mesh of personality drives lead the prototype to be a twitching mess with bugs and errors within every corner of its being. A major set back. The failure to produce a functional model annoyed both company's superiors and lead to some rather heated discussions about the staff involved and the schematics used. Ariel was disassembled and those who were involved with the original project were relocated to other fields including the project manager.
  The next project manager, an accomplished man from Slate Automata, hand picked his new staff for taking over the project. Using Ariel's flaws as guidelines on where to focus their resources the team devised three potential solutions to the clashing software issues. After consulting with the representatives of Yokai Industries it was concluded that the personality programs would be compressed and translated into the same language used by Slate Automata via external drives paired with a unique reader that would require development.
  The project took a further two years to finish but the end result, pessimistically dubbed Pariah, proved functional and without a doubt a considerable improvement upon the previous prototype. It was tested within a number of scenarios and proved itself capable in all of them. With the results from every test returning overwhelmingly positive, they presented their final product before official representatives of the board who were pleased and gave the team the all clear. From Pariah's success came the new line of SE401s.

Yaling was always a thin and fragile child growing up. Her doctors thought she was anorexic, but she ate just as much as everyone else. She learned to live with all the comments she received about her weight. She instead put her focuses into something valuable. From the age of ten she started working with computers. Coding, building, programming, anything she could do with a computer. By age fifteen she had built and coded her own computer that catered to each of her needs.
Her parents were very proud of her accomplishments and urged her to strive further. She did just that and went on to learn other useful skills such as hacking, her anonymity, and even working with A.I. later on. Once she graduated college with a Master's in Computer Science she ended up working for the UNSS. She worked hard and eventually created the A.I. aboard the Einstein. They brought her along so that she could fix it should anything happen to it while they traveled.

  History: Avery was born into a family of 5, including herself. She has two older twin brothers, Ronin and Lucas, who are aged 31 while her parents were in their early 70s, her father 74 and her mother 73. During Avery's early years of life, she always looked up to her brothers, following their examples. Thankfully, they weren't the kind to get in trouble. Instead, they exposed Avery to the wonders of space and space travel. Though, unlike her brothers who were more interested in the science and engineering behind space travel, Avery became more interested in the actual travelling. It became a dream of hers to fly through space and see the stars surrounding her. She wanted to be the one who did the actual flying.
  
  From there, her future was set. Her parents and brothers were all supportive of her decision. When Avery was old enough, she quickly enlisted into a local flight academy by her hometown. Overall, it took Avery half a year to obtain her pilots license for both day and nighttime flight as well as being able to fly a moderate variety of ships, from small civilian ships to medium-sized transports. She didnt stop there, however, and applied to the UKSA Flight Academy, the mot prestigious program anyone could go through, for if you passed their examinations, you would be automatically be enlisted and join the ranks of their well renowned pilots.
  
  Avery was no prodigy. Though, her passion and dedication was what caught the attention of her instructors. Every so often, Avery was found up late at night, working in the flight simulators and practicing. There were a couple incidents where she was caught simulating spacecraft she was not authorized to touch. However, she wasn't disciplined. Instead, Avery received a note from one of the assistant director's in the academy, stating that effective immediately, she would be transferred to a classified training program. It wasn't long until she realized that she was the only one in said program.
  
  The program, under the codename "ICARUS", was designed to enlist Avery to the United Nations and gave her the special opportunity to be the human pilot of the UNSS Einstein. In addition to her year the UKSA Flight Academy, she spent 2 more years in the ICARUS program, putting in a plentiful amount of hours into the simulator. A couple times, she was brought to the site where the Einstein was being housed and went aboard to familiarize herself with the actual bridge controls. After completing the ICARUS training program, Avery was granted her special clearance and a call-sign, "ARTEMIS". The program shifted into its conditioning phase, where Avery's instructors would throw near impossible situations at her, seeing how she could adapt and account for the imminent dangers. This conditioning continued until it was time for the Einstein's launch, where Avery got one last glimpse of her home planet before going off to pilot humanity's new frontier.
