Other Voting for RpNation

What happened is exactly what I expected to happen. They started a new program that gave users "x" amount of in game currency. Unfortunately, they did this for every voting site. Their main users obtained so much gold that it ultimately killed the currency. Because of that, the votings have slowed (they have not stopped but slowed TREMENDOUSLY).

We currently have more users online right now than we have votes all day.

It's up to our members to want to vote. I can't force you. I can offer you the best community I can in hopes the millions of vote links near the shoutbox remind you each day to do your part.

So basically the websites screwed up their currency value? Don't game creators think these things through?

I think they achieved their goal to be honest. I think their goal was to reach number 1 as fast as possible. Reap the spoils & hopefully obtain a large member base. From their, word of mouth. If you have not noticed, we earned more hits in third place than even the previous first place site earned in the number one slot. People keep coming back here for a reason. Slowly but surely we will be back in second & hopefully not far behind #1.

Update:

Total votes: 2976 [5.50 votes per day]

Hits: 12263 [22.67 hits per day]

I hope y'all know none of your efforts are in vain. I found RpNation through the Top 50s website so I make it a point to vote everyday. I'm a breathing example of the fruits of your efforts so hang in there. We can pummel those ********. They won't know what hit them.

Let's start focusing on taking second place back. Then from their we can target #1!

I'm not tooting my own horn here, but if I made four out of those ten votes today (by voting from different places throughout), then that means that only six other people, out of the countless folks that log in on a daily basis, actually clicked one of the THREE vote links on the front page.

This has to improve somehow. With the flood of new people we've gotten recently, it's maddening to see the vote number not increase in turn. If there's anything that I can do to motivate people to actually click the damned links, let me know.
