Fantasy Virus: VRV

Ezra Felt as the girl gripped her hand which made her going into a flashback (yay Flashbacks). The Scene is the start of the virus. It was her younger sister gripping her hand. The junkie was biting her sister and her sister was trying to hold on to her. She snapped back to reality. She looked down at the girl who was still griping her hand. She Started To let go of her. She realized that she was a scared little girl, Like her little sister.

"What is it?" David asked, still keeping his eyes peeled for the biters. Then a snarling growl: The trick worked as expected; four biters, each drawn from the back of the Station. Whilst they were relatively close together, he felt he could likely take the closest two with the fire axe; or at least one. At least another two with the combat knife. And if necessary, he could likely push the nearest one a good distance back. "Okay, you ugly bastards... Let's dance..." David hissed between clenched teeth.

The axe came down in one downward chopping motion, plunging into the skull of the nearest biter, before David tried to rag the weapon free, yet a common problem with the axe was it was very easily lodged, letting the biter drop with the weapon, he unholstered his combat knife, before rushing forward in one burst and jamming it into the skull of the other. Two down, two to go. The two biters lunged simultaneously, yet David managed to easily push one aside like a rag doll by pushing the neck. They couldn't bite, if he was stopping the jaw from moving. It was all the better he had the strength to actually push from that angle. Then the last biter; hastily dispatched with a knife in the skull like the last, although David put perhaps too much force into the stab, sending the knife handle deep into the gory remains of the creatures' brain.

"Ah, crap." Spinning around, David simply went to pick up a nearby spanner, in the hands of what he assumed was a dead body. Sky was likely hiding outside. He had no doubt she was safe. Then, it struck; the not-so-dead arm wrapped around his leg, tripping him, and sending the spanner flying across the floor. Whilst normally kicking the hand off would be a piece of cake, David landed on his bad knee. The one he'd already strained far too much. "Ahhh, fuck!" He grimaced, the injured knee now preventing his ability to kick. The other walker he'd pushed down was now crawling over, faster than he'd like. his eyes searched rapidly, he didn't do it; he didn't call for Skyla. Rely. On. Yourself.

@Blue Fire @Cyber Wolf

"Do you mean Skyla?" Katja finally asked straight out, glancing up at him observing his reaction.

She glanced toward the hideout nearby. That would have to do. Even if she wasn't too keen with places like this. They contained supplies, but often also a bunch of infected.

Suddenly her heard a screech in a distance, the tone, the similarity...."Skyla!" He yelled in the direction, as he used whatever he had left to run towards the rest stop, the machete he used to chop his hand off in his grasp. As he neared her saw a group of infected, and just as quickly he began to cut them down, his pain not stopping now! He pushed through and soon the girls face came into view, "Skyla!" He yelled again as he beheaded another biter.

Skyla looked toward the girl. "Watch your ass." She mutters softly. She hears David's slightly cry of pain. She hurries over the counter, and rushes through the isles. She comes upon the scene, and rushes the crawling biter. With a mighty kick, she sends the creature into the wall with a sickening crunch. It hisses, and Sky shoves her boot on the biter's throat, and sends a bullet through its skull. Then she heard it. Yelling Glaz. Glaz was calling her name. She looks up, her eyes huge and innocent. Despite the rusty blood that pooled under her boot from the dead biter she had just slaughtered. "D-david.." was the only thing she say.

Glaz brought the machete down upon the last of the biters, its head split in two. He soon was clear of the walkers and walked slowly towards Skyla, his limp returning to him as he realized his blood had nearly completey stained his shirt and his skin was pale. He offered his hands to give her a hug of rejoice, only to reveal his missing hand, "Skyl-" was all he could say before he collapsed onto the floor, half-unconscious.

But Maybe Letting her go was a bad idea. But She Was A little Girl So I guess I Let her off the hook. She Got Her bag out and pulled out her medical kit and pulled out some Gauze and wrapped he hand. "That Little Bitch Better watch out for me" She Whispered to herself. She Pulled out her bat and looked out the window. "Oh Crap" She Looked out to see the guy that the girl called glaz.

Now with his leg free, David quickly regained footing; a crunching pain still evident in his knee. David heard Skyla's voice of pure relief, as if she was happy. He didn't waste time; he rushed the final biter, one hand gripping it's jaw, another the back of its head. In one swoop, David slammed the creatures' head down, and then again, and again. Twice more; until the back of its head paints the floor, and the creature is unresponsive. The man then sent a burning glare towards the new woman, suddenly it became evident by Skyla's previous silence that she was responsible. Yet for now, a more urgent matter presented itself.

David looked at Skyla, and shrugged slightly. "Well I'll be damned. You were right, Kit. He IS here." He was far more astonished, and impressed than actually surprised. Yet the look on the girl's face at his voice was similar, familiar even. Too familiar. David hesitated, his heart skipping a beat slightly. She looked so crushed, instinct took over, instincts long buried. And he very nearly, reassured her...

But a sickening slice intercepted the moment, as the soldier entered the Station, dispatching a biter with haste before rushing towards the girl he so dearly missed. Then, the stump. He'd been bit... And did what was necessary to survive. Adrenaline left the man; and he collapsed haplessly to the floor, fighting the same battle David had fought earlier.

"Hey, hey, I got him... I got him..." David muttered, managing to heave the rather heavy soldier up, and rest him on his shoulder. "He needs rest, food, water... And that stump needs to be burned." David said matter-of-factly. "And you!" He said, turning towards the new girl with the baseball bat. "You better watch your step, you're on thin ice. We don't know you. We don't need to know you! Make yourself useful, and either help fix up our friend here, or fortify this place!" David barked, command in his voice, leaving no room for debate.

Skyla watched as David began to help try and help Glaz. She stood beside him. She smiled weakly. "How was that? You know, for protecting myself?" She smiles. She wasn't angry, almost relieved that David was okay. That Glaz had found them. She watches Glaz with solemn eyes. "I..is he.." She asks aimlessly her face no longer confident, yet sad. Frightened almost, for the man.

She Nodded and she put her medical kit on the ground for them. She Looked Around For And Other Exits Which There was. She Started To Barricade The Backdoor. Now She Started To Put Wooden Boards on the windows and Made Makeshift Sound Traps With Thread and Cans so she would know if there were junkies. "Okay Almost Done."

(Sorry For Short Post Again)

David turned to Skyla, truth be told it didn't look good for him... He'd lost a lot of blood, and was exhausted beyond measure. His wound could already be infected... Then again, this guy pulled through a horde of zombies, and chopped his hand off; still able to keep going. He was a tough sonofabitch, and that kind of person was awfully hard to kill. "Y'know what? I think he'll be fine." David said as confidently as possible, before turning to the barely conscious soldier. He'll be fine...

Now snapping back to Skyla, David reposnded to her earlier boast. "Back there? It was good. You didn't protect yourself Kit, you protected me. Just minutes after I'd told you to rely on nobody, trust nobody, and essentially help nobody. If you'd listened to me; I'd be dead. So thank you, for what it's worth." David spoke, his voice sincere. Whilst it was an apology of sorts, the fact that she's killed the walker must have meant the most important part of his message got through. That was the sign of evolution.

Turning to the new girl; David's face was pained between annoyance and gratitude. He didn't want to be sucked into a large group, but by recent events it seemed it had already happened.

"Thank you, this medical kit could save his life." It was true, the soldier's chances of living without it were slim indeed. But here it was. "Now, to business. Skyla, I'm going to need you to pour this disinfectant on his... arm." David hesitated, handing her the bottle with a stern look across his face. "He will struggle, he will scream. The toughest men on earth would, the pain is almost unbearable. But it could save his life."

David then took up position beside the lay down soldier, and pushed down on his arms with as much strength as he could muster. If he struggled, the disinfectant may miss the wound, that would be bad. "Pour it on for four seconds - five if possible. This is a huge injury. It needs as much as we can give."

Skyla smiled, "it's how I am, gotta protect the important people, Dave." With a smile she watched the girl, clearly enlightened that David said Glaz would be okay. Then he handed her the disinfectant. "O-okay." She didn't like to hurt others, and the sight of his arm was making her pale in the face. She kneeled beside Glaz. "Stay calm, okay?" She cooed softly into Glaz's ear. if he could hear her or not, she didn't really care. "I'm not trying to hurt you, I'm helping you." She swallows hard. "On three."

"One"

Without counting to three, she pours the disinfectant on his wound. One.. two.. three.. four.. She counts slowly pouring just as slow. Watching as it thickly begins to bubble into globs of thick, crimson mess and hisses as it seeps into his flesh. She gags slightly, and bites her lip roughly, pulling the bottle away, and looking to David for more orders.

For a moment, Glaz felt peace a whitness surrounded him and he was sure he had finally died, after all the pain he was finally free. But soon the light grew dark and dark, then with a sudden snap an enormous flood of pain erupted upon him. "Ahhhhhhh Он горит она чертовски ожоги! Aghhhhhhhh ебать ебать ебать!" He screamed as he flailed around violently, though barely being restrained by someone on top of him.

Skyla flinched, before putting both hands on either sides of Glaz's face, her hands were warm and smelt faintly of gunpowder. "Shhh. It's okay." She spoke softly, rubbing him temples like her mother used to do to her when she was in pain. "It's okay. It's almost over, I promise." Her voice was softly, gentle and soothing. "It only last a little bit, I'm here. I'm here. I'm with you now." She looks to the new girl, making eye contact. "Get me a cloth, and wet it with snow until it's soaked, ring it out, and bring it to me. It needs to be cold. " She demanded, her voice wasn't as smooth as it was when she spoke to Glaz, yet it was gentle. The last thing she wanted to do was yell in his ear. That wouldn't help at all.

Ezra Jumped When She Heard The Screams Of The Glaz Guy. Ezra Looked To The Girl And Nodded. She Ripped Some Cloth From Some Of Her Spare Shirts and pants and walked out side. She Wet the cloth and wrung it out. She Encountered A Junkie but Toke Care Of It. She Walked Back In Side And Gave It To The Girl. She Sat Back Down In Her Chair And Went into Her Bag. "Stupid Question Do You Guys Want Food Or Water?"

"Good man. Just hold in there, yeah?" David said after the disinfectant had been appropriately applied, his pain clearly evident - yet he took if far better than David had expected nonetheless. The wound luckily didn't need to be cauterized; since the med-kit provided stitches, this newcomer was his real savior. Perhaps his philosophy of Rely on yourself wasn't the smartest thing ever. Although circumstance really changed everything in the end. David winced slightly, however as the girl called him Dave. The name bringing back painful memories, ones that he pushed aside.

"We won't need to burn the wound. Stitches will do the trick jut as well." David spoke to nobody in particular; he was the one who'd do the stitches, after all. Whilst he'd never officially done anything medical based in the old world, he'd learned a lot in the last few months of being alone. Mainly, after he nearly died from a cut which got infected, near the start of everything going to hell, at the time; stores weren't pillaged to every last scrap - otherwise he'd surely be dead.

David did appreciate what Skyla was doing. It eased the soldier's pain, and likely gave him the strength to fight on. Whilst he'd had no qualms with leaving people to die if his own life was at stake; he'd never done it without a heavy heart, nor had he ever been merciless, cruel or careless. Ifhe could save a life free of risk; he'd be damned if he didn't try.

"I think we all want to eat, and drink. I'll finish working on our friend here. Get him stitched up, then he'll need some water." David replied, gratitude in his voice; as his own throat was burning from dryness, and his stomach growled with fierce hunger. "We'll get you in good shape yet..."

With deadly precision; David managed to stitch the remains of the flesh up as best he could. When missing a whole hand, it was a difficult job, stitches were meant for small cuts, not dismemberment... But cauterization, though would have been a much better option. Was too unsafe, it could kill him, when so exhausted. "That's the best I can do for now, the wound should be cauterized... But he's to weak at the moment. The stitches will hold... for now." David explained, wrapping a bandage around the soldiers arm.

"Now he needs food and water, then rest. I suggest we drop the anchor for tonight. He's in no shape to travel, and like I said; he needs to rest. I'm unreliable, at best. With the leg as injured as it is, and the Station itself is hidden from immediate danger."

She Got Up And Gave Everyone Some canned Peach's (Opened) And Some Water. Well Except Herself Who Was Left With Some Tomato Soup And Water. "By The Way My Name Is Ezra." She Smiled Eating The Cold Tomato Soup. "And I Was Also In Medical School To Be A Nurse, So That's Where I God The Medical Kit." She Smiled Again And Ate Some More Soup.

Skyla carefully placed the cold rag over Glax's steaming forehead before she slumped beside David, exhaling a heavy sigh. She looks at the food for a moment, and the water, as if it'd been months since she'd seen such delicacies. She tipped her head back, not wanting to use her bloody hands on the peaches, and let one slice slide into her mouth. She chews for a moment, blushing happily. She carefully ran her fingers over Glaz's chest, gently, soothingly. He needed to rest. She looks to David, "What happened to your knee, anyways?" She asks, her voice was still soft as ever, despite having watched her savior suffer, and murdered a total of three biters the entire day. For her first time ever. She was rather proud of herself too.

Glaz screamed but as the pain subsided he fell back into darkness and passed out from the pain, mumbling in Russian as he slept.

(Short ass post sorry but I gtg! Loving the rp so far!)

David took the water and food gratefully, certainly not about to pass upon two much needed recourses. It had been quite the day... Somehow, he'd gone from being a lone-wolf, to sitting here with a 16 year old girl, a recently maimed soldier, and a girl who he'd known for no more than 20 minutes. The irony in the situation was, in truth he himself was currently a cripple. If they were attacked, it'd be down to the girls to protect the men.

Soon enough, Skyla wondered over, and took place next to David. Which he'd honestly expected, the silence for a few seconds was pleasant; David enthusiastically indulged in the fresh water, and heavenly canned peaches. The bright light of the outdoors was fading, it didn't beam through the windows as it did minuted before. Nightfall would arrive in a an hour, possibly two. There was much work yet to be done, somebody had to do it - and he'd always coped when alone.

Yet before he could leave; Skyla spoke. Causing David to chuckle slightly, it wasn't a bad memory, but a rather amusing one given the situation. "You can blame my brother for this." He answered bluntly, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Ah, what can I say? He decided skateboarding across multiple rooftops was a fun idea. And it was, I admit. Unfortunately the last time I rode a skateboard across rooftops, I mistimed a flip whilst jumping from one roof to another... I didn't fall far, it shouldn't have been more than a bruise." David stopped, and took in another mouthful of peaches; before continuing having devoured them.

"But I landed on the neighbors fountain, split the thing in two. Knee first, so whilst I was lying in the middle of the grass screaming in pain, I was also drenched in water, as an angry old man was yelling at me from the house-door. Dislocated it and broke it at the same time... ever since, it's never worked properly, doesn't do well with too much pressure, or running." The smile crept away as quick as it came. The realization that he'd lost all his family a sour reminder to his small moment of happy reminiscence. "I'm going to continue fortifying the Station... Night'll be upon us soon, we need to be safe." He muttered with concern, glazing out at the ever dwindling sunlight.

David turned then to the new arrival; "Ezra, was it? We appreciate the help. You're welcome to stay with us, you did help wit the medical supplies, defenses, food and water. You earned your keep." With a final friendly nod, David began moving any furniture, or objects to the front and back entrances. Once the doorways were secure, he'd board the windows Ezra either missed, or didn't board enough. Doing it all would take several hours; yes, but it was worth it. For his survival - the groups - survival.

@Cyber Wolf

Skyla has stared at him in awe as he spoke. "The closest I ever got to breaking a bone was when I was in gymnastics and mounted the high beam. I ended up kicking a girl in the face and fell on my ankle, I got a hairline fracture, and my parents waited to take me to the doctor because they called me a 'drama queen'." Sky scoffed, as if their remark hadn't been true. She watched David get up, and frowns. "Be careful, okay?" She asks as he walks away. She slowly crawls to Glaz, and curls upside his sleeping body. Looking toward Erza, with tired eyes. "What was it like being put on your ass by a sixteen year old?" Skyla teased softly, giggling quietly as darkness quickly began to make visibility difficult.

Ezra Nodded At David "Well Thank You For Letting me Stay." She Took A Huge Gulp Of Water. "Well It Was A Little embarrassing But You Are Only 3 Year away From My Age And I'm Just A Little Taller But It's Whatever." She Looked At Her Hand Where She Bit Her It Still Hurt But Not That Much Anymore. She Looked Down At The Glaz Man.

"My good deed..." She whispered under her breathe. She didn't expect a reaction like that for sure. Maybe her expectations didn't meet reality... No they definitely didn't. In her mind he would invite her to join him. She wasn't a loner type of person either way. No that was her chance and she wasn't going to waste it. She decided to follow the male shooter. "Oh come on... Don't be like that." She said as she followed the man smashing any rottenskin's meeting her way. Besides they were not very fast making them easy to kill. "Two are better than one. Don't you think? I mean you would be dead back there without having someone to watch your back." She surely was persistent to say the least and she wouldn't leave the shooter alone so easily. "And by the way you're welcome."

Asher McMichael

"I work alone... Mostly." Asher responded to the girl's proposal of a partnership between the two. He kept on walking swiftly through the infected who weren't smart or quick enough to be a problem in his way with the female, who had just saved him, a bit behind. Asher kept walking as the girl persistently mentioned the possibility of him dying back there, surrounded by the zombies, if it weren't for her saving him. She also mentioned the strength in numbers would be an advantage for both Asher and her. "Hm, dead..." He whispered softly. He didn't want to admit it, but she was right. Working alone would be much more dangerous and maybe he would get lucky three times and have some stranger save him. He hated forming groups as it had ended very badly before, but she looked like someone who could handle herself well.

He abruptly stopped in his tracks to look at the sky. Zombies were now a bit further away and distracted by the sound of the distant horde in the clearing, so it was safe for now. However, the night was falling upon them and soon the forest would be a death trap for any human who stepped in, due to the amount of infected around as they would start to disperse quickly. He let out a big sigh, annoyed about how right she was. He turned around to face the girl, and inspected her closely. Asher didn't really want people around him for long periods of time nowadays, but how bad could she be?

"
Alright." He said, while giving the girl a nod of a approval. "You can come with me. But don't expect this partnership to last. Once we get to nearest town we'll part ways." Asher continued looking at the girl carefully, making sure she would listen to everyone of his words correctly. He looked at the sky once again, now a little bit more worried. "It'll be night soon, so we better hurry. Follow me and don't fall back. I'm Asher, by the way." He said, turning around getting ready to move out. "You can call me Ash." He started marching through the forest once again, hoping the female would follow behind.

At the mention of the word 'mostly' Hyejeong's face brightened a little bit. She was expecting him to say okay the momment right after. As the seconds went by and noticed him look at the sky she was wondering what he was thinking, but she didn't want to get too nosy and agitate him. Then when she heard him say 'alright' she couldn't help but smile. "Let us reach a town frst and we will see what happens to this partnership as you so delicately put it." Then she also noticed as he spoke that they would have to find shelter soon. She was okay with following orders so she didn't hesitate with following him as he asked. Of course if she didn't agree with a plan she wouldn't stick to it. Just like she didn't stick with the plan killing other survivors and stealing their stuff like her former group did... Oh god how much this world had changed them... Stealing was one thing but killing... It was something she simply couldn't do. She didn't have the guts. "That's a nice name, actually. It's a pleassure, my name is Hyejeong, but you can call me Hye for short." After some momments of silence she decided to ask. "Were you in a group before, Asher? Or were you alone since the beginning?"
