Skills?
Well, give me the classes and I can think of some skills.

And how many skills do you want for each class?

And will the skills be earned as the story progresses?

And if they are, how will they be earned?

A leveling process, maybe?
Elemental Wizard(uses fire/ice/water/wind and shit; could be multiple classes)

Priest(religion-based healer)

Warrior(basic brute)

Paladin(magic-using tanky guy)

Ranger(outdoorsy guy)

Warlock/necromancer(black magic)

Rogue/thief(stealthy)

Druid/shaman(nature-magic)

----------------------------------

Drow

Orcs

Halfings

Tellurians (Half Animal/Anthromorphic race)

Winged Elves

Humans

Vampires (Non sparkling)

Giants

About ten for each class, and one special skill for the races

Skills will be earned by leveling and ranking up.

About ten for each class, and a special skill for races, okay...

If I can remember about this and I'm not swarmed by replies from other roleplays, I'll try.

I'll try.

But each thing they defeat gives them experience, right?

Where are the classes?

GIVE THEM TO ME.

Anyways... I have some questions about classes.

Drow

Halfings

Tellurians

Winged Elves

I have no idea what these are. And I just can't think of an idea for the winged elves. They're creepy.

Drow are basically night-elves. Halflings are basically hobbits, but I think it would make more sense to have goblins in this scenario. Tellurians were described as shape shifters by nico.

Tellurians are my own creation. So that's why you've never heard of them before. They are basically anthromorphic animals.
So...no Data Drain?
I've never seen .hack just SAO so I wouldn't know what that is.

Oh.

Drow = Fade. Face into the shadows, causing enemies to be confused. You have a chance of being confused.

Orcs = Rage. Boils rage inside of them to make a strength attack. Rage takes 1 turn to build-up.

Halfings = Bravery charge. They charge into the enemy, causing knock-back. You might get dizzy or stunned.

Tellurians = (Erm, I think this is already a given, but) Shift. Shape-shift into something else for a certain amount of time (Decided by dice roll, I guess. or maybe not, idk)

Winged Elves = Bombs. Spawns bombs out of thin air for the elves to fly and drop them on enemies. Only 16 bombs are spawned.

Humans = Knowledge. They fill the opponent with the knowledge of the universe, causing headaches and possibly brain explosion, depending on the creature. Enemy is stunned for two turns (If there even are turns). You have a chance to accidentally do it to yourself.

Vampires = Bite. Bite one of the enemies, causing them to shift to your side for that fight. The enemies might not become your friend, and they might turn back at any moment.

Giants = Bash. Repeatedly strike the enemy with their weapon. Causes dizzyness and stunned, but also causes fatigue for the giant. Your attack power goes down.

Now, for the classes.

Give me teh classes.

I searched for em on my own, now chu has to search for em.

They elves with wings. Look up "Winged Elves Perfect World"

We aren't using the dice system.

I was thinking classes should be specific for races.

Like certain races only get certain classes

---Classes---

Elemental Wizard(uses fire/ice/water/wind and shit; could be multiple classes)

Priest(religion-based healer)

Warrior(basic brute)

Paladin(magic-using tanky guy)

Ranger(outdoorsy guy)

Warlock/necromancer(black magic)

Rogue/thief(stealthy)

Druid/shaman(nature-magic)

How will chance events happen, though?

I mean, we've got to use something to decide for us.

I made some chance events things in the skills.

I made downsides to each skill. Do you want me to remove those?

Specific classes exclusive to certain races?

Look, if a job in real life was only allowed to be taken up by a white guy and you're black, what would you think?

Thing is this isn't real life.

I mean could you see a big ole orc running around shooting fireballs? Or a winged elf, who normally uses holy magic running around summoning zombies?

Hey thats fine with me. But I wont allow elves with facial hair.

Cause Elves do not grow facial hair.

If certain races get certain classes, I think it forces the players to choose a race they don't want to.

I personally don't like the idea.

Fine, then I wont use the idea.

But I do plan on being strict during character submission

I am frightened.

Boo.

Ah, I'm scared.

I feel like if I come up with ideas and I'm not accepted I would feel very stupid.

<_<

I know eventually it'll happen. But eh.

/sighs

I just want this RP to be detailed and good. Too many of my RPs have failed horribly.

I just want to make a RP that'll go down in history, not something that I spend days on and it only lasts two days.
