One day you discover a mysterious app downloaded onto your phone. Unable to delete it you soon receive an influx of messages from "Ai" a self-proclaimed angel of love and justice who had descended onto Earth to rid it of its sin.

However, they cannot directly influence the world. Left with no choice they sought to seek help from others. And surprise! You are one of them. Congratulations!!

Now this is the beginning of your epic journey. The peace we see today is just a facade! In reality, danger lurks in every corner! Only by discovering the truth can this world continue to strive! I know you can do it but we must make haste before it's too late!

It has now been three decades since the launch of nirvana industries new virtual tech, shin sekai. With levels of immersion closely rivaling reality shin sekai has the world into a new age.

With it, the world had never felt so connected. Quickly becoming widespread it has now become the norm for schools and offices to have their own server to host classes and meetings.

Along with it entertainment has reached new heights as people can truly experience movies, games, and other media as intended.

NOTES

01 // expectation-wise I just wanted a good old magical girl roleplay. we already have our mascot, and we will have transformations and goofy lovely abilities and names. plus, everything will be solved with the power of friendship. most of this will be plot-driven.

02 // age range for characters will be around college age (18-late 20s). anime fcs. the majority of the roleplay will be light-hearted with players receiving missions from ai, fighting evil and solving crime as well as exploring the different worlds in shin sekai.

03 // minimum age for players to be at least 18, it's pretty casual so there won't be strict post requirements, just no one-liners and just let me know if you'll be unreachable for more than a week. ooc will be through discord

04 // like always this is just an interest check to see if there's enough interest for me to continue further. That being said I would like to at least have 3-4 players minimum to start and maybe 6-8 max.

05 // I'm probably forgetting something but if you have any questions I'll try to answer them here.

I'm not sure how the Shin Sekai is supposed to relate to the story,but I'm always down for magical girl stuff.

I liked the original series of Madoka when it was airing...also,Strike Witches and Sky Girls if those count.

I'm not sure how the Shin Sekai is supposed to relate to the story,but I'm always down for magical girl stuff.

Hello! It’s no problem since I didn’t dive deep into it in the original post. Shin sekai is meant to be part of the setting in which characters will be able to interact and connect despite not being close physically, which can potentially diversify cast. Ai will also make their own server for them as a base of operations.

Shin sekai will be also be the main force to drive the plot! In a world where virtual reality has become the norm in everyday lives an unknown being/organization is wreaking havoc by messing with its system trying to take over. On the downlow there has recently been cases where people are unable to log out and return to the real world and fall into a coma. With Ai’s help they’ll connect the characters into different worlds and characters will have to work together to figure out and complete the mission in the world to bring them back.

I watched Accel World a few weeks ago and I really liked the virtual/augmented reality aspect, so combining that with magical girls is like. Pure genius.
