Kharia shook her head, annoyed with the fighting that had occurred. Lance yelled at them again, which made her more on edge. She was occupying herself with looking at her tattoos before she noticed someone off to the side looking left out. The new kid...Joel? Yeah, him. Kharia walked over to him, looking him over with her bright red eyes. "Hey. Why you standing off from the group?" She asked as she fiddled with her lip piercing.

Jack was leaned out over the bunsen burner, and using an eye dropper to carefully add the catalyst to the medicine he was mixing. Moving with the utmost care, he squeezed the dropper. One wrong move and the whole thing could explode. Suddenly a girl right around Jack's age lept up onto his shoulder and yelled in his ear.


"Boo!!!"


Startled, Jack knocked over the beaker he was using, and was knocked on his ass by the ensuing explosion. Waving the smoke away from his face, Jack looked down before saying,


"....Well shit....."





(slight time skip for Jack)


Cheerfully whistling as he walked down the hall, Jack tossed what he had in his left hand up in to the air, catching it as he went. Making his way to the infirmary, Jack looked at the door before giggling, and using his left hand to manipulate his right hand into opening the door, before looking back at the trail of blood left by the amputated stump of his right arm. Entering the medical office, Jack cheerfully called out,


"Anybody home? No? Good! Now wheres that needle and thread."


Without waiting, Jack began to look though the shelves and draws for medical thread, so he could re-attach his arm.


Unsure of how to respond, Hat merely looked down, rolled his shoulders in a neutral motion, and continued to disassemble the pair of rifles.


Everest sighed and said,


"You know what? I just cant deal with the stupidity anymore."


Laying on his back, Everest called out,

Elliot walked through the school hallways,His hood was on and he was walking around with a serious look because he heard noises nearby,Elliot reached the infirmary and the noises got louder Elliot decided to see who or what was inside and knocked on the door "Who's inside?!Open up?!"

"Why?" Joel asked himself that question after asking himself others. Why did she come over to talk to him? It was weird to say the least. "Dunno really. I just don't wanna get involved with all of this just yet. I can't be asked to make a plan. I would rather follow it once it is made. In other words, I'm being lazy." Joel hadn't noticed it at first, but the girl who approached him had red eyes. Were they natural? If they were, was she human? No way, they couldn't be human. "So, before I ask you for a little fighting practise, how about you letting me know your name." The teen was really in the mood to punch someone. After being called a bastard and being told he had to stay with the group, he needed to let of some steam. Plus, maybe he would get that feeling from the fight.

Kharia laughed in response to his question, amused with his request to fight. "My name is Kharia, and before you ask, I'm a demon. Ya know, dark gray skin, black tattoos all over me, red eyes? Bit hard to miss all of those. But yeah, I wouldn't mind sparring a bit. The others have yet to make a decision, mainly Pb - who is the skeleton guy, mind you - so I've got time. Plus, didn't want to leave you here all alone. I may enjoy killing people in many different ways, but I've learned making friends or allies is better than making enemies." Kharia explained, a dangerous glint in her eyes. She reached down into the shadows and pulled out two dangerously sharp-looking blades, and moved into a defensive stance. She then spoke to him mentally, "What about you? What's your name, challenger?" She smirked as she asked this, prepared to fight.

Lance let out a sigh as he shook his head. "I'm still forgetting something." He muttered to himself.


Lacy of course was in the infirmary and when she saw the guy enter without an arm. She glanced up from her magazine and sighed before looking back and turning the page. "Clean up when you are done. Shelf next to my desk." She said before taking a sip of scotch. "And whoever you are stop banging on my door! I just got it fixed."

Shepard looked at Hat after she cleaned off and thought about it. "Since I'm not the stick in the mud Lance. I'm going to be impressed. You can keep the amulet as a reward, it could prove useful." She said as she walked over to a different section. "We both missed my lesson so you are free to do whatever."

Neth walked over to the two that were standing on the side and shook her head. "We can't be sparring right now. I know it's boring but we need to focus. And Lancy may kill us if we do that. Hey Pb. A plan would be good any day now."

"Damn." Kharia let go of her blades and they fell back into the shadows, making no noise. She grinned at the boy she met before tying the one side of her hair back into a ponytail to keep it out of the way. "Maybe another time, man." She said and turned away from him to face the girl who spoke to her. "No offense, but...who the hell are you?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.

Joel smiled as she accepted his fight. "Okay Kharia, prepare to get your butt...seriously?..." She pulled out two daggers from shadows! "Okay, that's cool. Doesn't mean I won't win." But he wasn't too sure now. He hadn't fought demons before. He knew nothing about them. Were they stronger then humans? Faster? Smarter? He couldn't show his uncertainty though. "What red eyes. tattoos? You're skin looks the same. In fact, you look like any other person who looses to me in a fight." With his smug face on, Joel stood with his hands behind his back and watched as she got into a fighting position. He then heard her voice in her head. Great, something that could actually damage him. "I said it earlier dude. Joel."





He was just about to start the fight when someone came over to tell them to stop. It was that girl who invited him over when he was first sorted. "Really? God damn it." He had to keep his thirst for violence locked up still. "Yeah, another time..." Joel realised he was listening to someone who he didn't even know the name off. "Yeah, Kharia brings up a good point. Who the heck are you? I mean, you bring up some good points too. Like how the so called leader of the group should hurry the hell up and come up with a plan! But, I would rather know the name of the person who is all buddy buddy with the bastard over there." He pointed towards Lance and waited for the girls reply.

Neth gave them each a small smile as she tilted her head to the side. "Sorry. I did kind of pop out of no where. My name is Neth. Neth Nobody, a pleasure to meet you two. I hope we make good team mates so we can crush the others to nothing." She said in a kind tone. She then glanced over at Lance who had his eyes closed and appeared to be resting.


"That bastard is my uncle. That's why I'm so friendly with him. Now that introduction is done. Hey! Pb! Are you going to play leader today? I swear if we loss to the other team because you are taking a century to come up with a plan I will rot you." She said loud enough so he could hear. "I want to do something fun. not stand in these woods all day." She mumbled

"Okay, Okay, I was just preparing a lil backup plan" Says Pbtenchi, as he came back to join the group. "Here's the plan, we rob a bank, and kill some people there. Simple, right? Don't worry I've got a feeling we will get more points then the other team." He said.

"Nice," she shouted back to Neth and awaited orders or something to do. "Neckros, calm down, I would say breathe but I don't really know if you can," Sadie chuckled, hugging him.

Neckros chuckled. "I still breathe Sadie, I am dead enough that toxins will not effect me, and the undead recognize me as one of their own. But I still breathe, I still eat, I still sleep, and bleed. I live." He took a deep breath. "The Captain aims too high, he expects all worlds, all realities to exist in the same way. He wants to fly off and destroy one of the most heavily defended cities in the world, a city which may not even exist depending on what reality we are in. Now I sense some energy lines, lines that indicate the presence of a place where there are likely legends, and myths that people whisper. Stories that attract daredevils, and arrogant young unprepared teenagers looking to make themselves appear macho and trick young women into taking off their pants for them. We head that way, get our bearings, and if we encounter any adventure seekers we kill them. If we don't, we figure out where to go to find a different crime, or we destroy whatever property we find. But we find our bearings first, then make a calculated decision. You rush, you die. You get arrogant, you die. The Captain does not seem to have learned that, he endangers himself and those around him with his arrogant know-it-all attitude, and I have no problem with that, so long as I and those whom I actually trust are not among those he endangers."

Sadie made an 'oh' with her mouth in rpply to Zeckros then she tripped and just about managed to not hit a tree, how, she didn't know, she just felt a small pull on her body.


"My goddy god! I'm going to break my nose! Mother of Jesus, I just want to go for a swim, I haven't had my chance yet, and I am NOT swimming in that lake!" Sadie growled out as her body continued to follow Neckros.





"That's it!" She jumped as she heard the shot of a bullet, she ducked and watched it enter the tree. "Neckros!!!" Her arms flailed forwards as she pulled him down just as another sounded.

Neth raised a brow and shrugged. "Okay ever so fearless leader." With that she was about to walk off but stopped to think about something. "Does anyone on our team have one of those amulets? If you do we can use that to travel rather than foot. And we can go to legitly any bank in this world." She said with a smirk liking the idea of less walking and sooner killing.

Neckros gasped in surprise as Sadie pulled him down. "What the?" He winced as he heard the bullet crack against a tree. "Well! This'll take less time then I thought!" He said as he began to gather the Earth magic that surrounded him, carefully converting it into death magic, then expelling the scraps around him with a loud *crack* causing rocks to jut out of the ground nearby in an unpredictable manner.

Nightmare heard the bullet go off and smiled. "Tantibus modum." ((Nightmare mode.)) He emptied his elephant gun and filled it with wind bullets. He shot one slug towards the location of where he heard the sound of shots. Whoever fired them shots would get blown towards his team so they could take care of them.

Yuu was about to jump off from the ship and save both of them but that's when another bullet hit him on his shoulder "H..Help" Yuu said before he shouted and passed out blood was starting to pour out of his shoulder as he layer there

"Someone help Yuu," her eyes turned into the colour of blood and she ran, she wasn't like a vampire, yet, she just had these short bursts. Her amulet shone as it gifted her the increased senses and she slid on her knees missing the bullet by only a few centimetres.


"Oh sugar this way," with help of Nightmare that flung him forward, Sadie jumped and grabbed his foot slamming him into the ground, he tried to scuttle away but she placed her foot onto his chest.


"I want a little snack, GUYS ANYONE WANT HIM BEFORE I HAPPILY BITE INTO MY MEAL!?" Sadie challenged the others.

Dante saw Yuu get hit and sighed. He quickly rushed over and started to fix him up. "Now. Either you accept my medicine and heal quicker or lose more blood that you need." He handed him some medicine and just stared at him with a very serious face. This pirate would not betray his team.

Neckros stood up and kicked the gun away. Pathetic! He thought, walking towards Sadie and their unknown assailant. "Don't worry Sadie, he's all...." He stopped as he looked down at the boy. "Oh, now there's a face that I haven't seen in a long time!" He laughed. "Well, well, well, Eric Williamson! What are you doing out here by the lake, with a gun, taking pot shots at perfect strangers?" The boy stopped struggling under Sadie's foot, and looked up at Neckros with a look of abject terror. "H...how did you know my name?" He asked. Neckros reached up and dropped his hood, revealing his fleshless face.


"You answer my question first mortal!" Neckros shouted. "What are you doing here?" The boy struggled a bit more under Sadie's foot. "Weekend getaway with the crypto-hunter club at my school! I heard you talking about killing my friends and our parents so I wanted to stop you!"


"Interesting...." Neckros turned back towards the lake he had sensed. "Is it just one or both of your parents?"


"Both," The boy sighed dejectedly. "You're death aren't you?" He asked, "That's why you know me? Isn't it?" Neckros laughed.


"No," he said turning towards him, "I am what you could have been, had your life taken a different turn, I killed our parents to attain powers from the dread gods in my world. It will be a pleasure to kill them again...." He turned back to Sadie. "Go ahead Sadie, he's all yours. Drain my echo dry."

Neth rolled her eyes as she waited for someone to speak up. "Well do I have to start and asking everything? The others are already gone and we haven't done a thing. As for the largest bank if my memory serves it would be Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, or the ICBC for short." She said as she tapped her foot and crossed her arms. "Though personally I don't think that is a good target, instead we should go else where maybe... I don't know which ever place attracts less heroes."

Sadie looked confused between the conversation between Neckros and soeeone he knew. "I'm not even going to ask, thank you," she smiled at the boy she was to devour before her teeth came in contact with his skin, it felt weird... she'd only fed off of Steve and no doubt he'd be piss her fangs were at anothers throat.





"Luckily I'll be killing you quickly," and with that Sadie pulle her head away from him and sen her hand into his chest, pulling out the heart, she chuckled.





"So my lovely friend, care to enlighten me?" Sadie asked as a glitt of curiosity entered her eyes, pulling oit a small cloth she kept with her at all times since her change, she wipe her face free of blood, also her hand.

Serena sighed and nodded. "Anything's good, but I will say my performance underwater cannot be beaten, out of these people here, but I can fight on land, using the various potions and secret vials with me, not to mention my beauty," she tapped her satchel and motioned to the small vials hanging drom various body parts, the beauty was her spear.





"So Captain Pb, where are your bones taking us because at the moment, I'm bored sitting around and waiting for enjoyable things to happen, get your asses moving team, Sir's not gonna like it!" Serena had a small smile on he fcce as she turned on her heel to survey her team, not bad, a little of training won't hurt 'em, see thoight back to when she trained the Siren's a smile on her face, she's dead now though!


This thought floated through her mind as she wondered about ger devishly handsome l, heart stopping pirate. Zilch, nada, no, not the pirate love!

"What a marvellous display of violence!" Soul said with a joyful voice as he watched sadie kill neckros' doppelganger. He hovered around the dying body, eagerly waiting for the soul to attempt to pass on. It has been too long since he last munched on anything. "Say neckros, you have magic abilities, yes? Do you need this soul or could i.. Have it..?" Soul quickly dashed over to him stopping right in front of his skull face. "Nice symbols there on your head by the way. Want to compare our knowledge of the arcane..? We might learn something from each other!" The flying orb said ever so joyful, expecting to find a host AND get the soul.

"C'mon dude, it's around dinner time for me, hurry up." Steve said, trying to urge him towards their destination. No matter what, he would cause as much colateral damage as possible to gain additional points, maybe tear down a building or two in the process, who knows..?


Sadie was in the 'enemy team' after all, and a healthy competition was always good. Even for a relationship, he figured.
