MaskyOrGhosty
Your Local Psychopath & Goddess of Death :3
(When I use the term mortal I’m not just referring to humans. The term mortal in this case is being used for all species except Gods/Goddesses.)
Gods/Goddess:
Chavah, the mother of the Gods/Goddesses, she created all other Gods and Goddesses and sent them to create what they felt was their hearts desire, and what seemed fit to be the world that they now currently called Earth. Originally Earth was called Erda. Gods and Goddesses of course had their disputes over the few million years, but over time they all had slowly and mainly came to peace. Chavah’s presence is unknown. Where did she go? Will she come back? Sadly, not. She had created a Numen(The closest thing I could find to a gender-neutral term for God) named Sheol. Sheol was created for one sole purpose and that was to bring the end of the world. Chavah was disappointed with the world that her children had made, and so she sent her youngest and newest to end it all. Why hadn’t Sheol ended the world then like they were so supposed to? As cheesy as it sounds they fell in love with a mortal. The mortal they fell in love with showed them the beauties of the world. Now knowing the beauties of the world and not just the darkness they saw they couldn’t bring themselves to do what they were created to do, so in response they created a prophecy of twelve young beings to be the true end of the world. Once Sheol had felt that they had made the right decision on whom they felt should be the ones they would give them the boost of power that they need for causing the Earth’s demise they grant them their abilities later on as they grow into what he believes the time they need to mature.
Daimons/Demons:
Ashmedai(Hell) and Daimons was created by the Goddess/God/Numen of Pain and Brutality. Ashmedai is not controlled by said Goddess/God/Numen rather the Daimon, Hel is in charge of the majority of Ashmedai. There are seven sections of Ashmedai. The main/first section is the Sramota section which stands for Pride. The second section is the Veliko section which stands for Greed. The third section is the Razo section which stands for Lust. The fourth section is the Umaza section which stands for Envy. The fifth section is the Ernost section which stands for Gluttony. The sixth section is the Sreca section which stands for Wrath. The seventh section is the Delavnost section which stands for sloth. There are several different types of daimons. Overall most of them have the same abilities as one another. The only daimons that are pretty much different are Dream Daimons, Succubi/Incubi Daimons, and Fiend Daimon. Dream Daimons have the abilities to manipulate your dreams/nightmares along with manipulating your emotions. Succubi/Incubi Daimons have the ability to puppeteer people for a short amount of time, and use them to their advantage on whatever they plan on doing. Fiend Daimons can manipulate people's thoughts, and make people have illness' physically and mentally. Other Daimons have the abilities of shapeshifting, superhuman strength, possessing individuals, creating illusions, telekinesis, and the power to spread lies and deception. Daimon’s weaknesses are iron, holy fire, holy water, and holy wood.
Angels:
Heaven and Angels was created by the Goddess/God/Numen of Peace and Purity. Heaven is not controlled by said Goddess/God/Numen rather the Angel, Michael is in charge of the operations of Heaven. Despite Angels being put in heavenly light most of the Angels are in their own corrupt system. Many of the Fallen Angels aren’t really that bad… you’d find that some are actually quite nice, and were trying to end the corrupt system that they have going on in Heaven. Angels have the ability of healing, resurrection, sedation, teleportation, telekinesis, prayer, flight, superhuman strength, dream walking, angelic possession, telepathy, and supernatural perception. Angels can heal themselves along with others. Despite the fact that they can resurrect the dead it is strictly forbidden to do so, and you can get in major trouble by the gods/goddesses for doing such a thing. This rule was made by the Goddess of Death so that way nobody can cheat death. Of course there are a few exceptions that have been made to cheat death, that she doesn’t approve of but can’t stop. Sedation is the ability where when angels touch an individual with their index and middle finger on the forehead they can make the individual become unconscious. Prayer is an angel's ability to sense a prayer that is either directed to them or just an angel in general, but if the prayer isn’t directed to a specific angel the only way one can sense the prayer is if they’re the closest nearby. Angels can only dream walk into someone's dream if given specific permission to do so, unlike dream demons who can just pop in whenever they like. Angelic possession is much like demon possession, but an angel needs permission by the being they wish to possess. Supernatural perception is the ability to sense when other supernatural beings are around. Fallen angels lose most of their abilities that they once had once they become fallen. Fallen angels no longer have the ability of healing, resurrection, sedation, telekinesis, flight, dream walking, and angelic possession. How does an Angel become a Fallen Angel? There are three ways. One way is if the “Heavenly Gates” find an Angel unworthy and cast them down. Another way is if an Angel breaks a rule that was created by one of the Gods/Goddesses, and so a God/Goddess can make them Fallen. A third way is if an Angel clips their wings or loses their wings. That can only happen if their wings get cut off by themselves or by the hands of an angelic blade. Angels weaknesses are angelic blades, holy fire, a stronger angel, and a god/goddess/numen.
Shapeshifters:
There are three types of shapeshifters. Weres, Impersonators, and Object Morphers. Weres have the ability to shapeshift into animals, Impersonators have the ability to shapeshift to other people, and Object Morphers have the ability to shapeshift into any object. There is another type of shapeshifters called Meta's though they are very very rare to find. They can shapeshift into anything that their hearts desires. Shapeshifters' weaknesses are decapitation and heart extraction.
Witches:
Witches aren't usually born human though there is a few rare chances that they are. Witches are born to where they don't have normal organs like humans, but they're born differently and there is a power source given to them at birth. Now those who aren't born as witches they have to use artifacts created by born witches. Covens are actually more rare as most witches like to work alone. Witches that are in covens aren't allowed to marry or have kids. Witches' weaknesses are decapitation and water. Water doesn’t kill them, but rather makes it more difficult to use their powers this is an issue for only born witches. That’s why born witches that handle water must be careful when they are in battle. Witches can do all types of magic, but most of it is banned by other Gods, Goddess', and Numen's. Some witches are born witches, but are unaware of it because doctors just believe they've been born with organ disorders. Luckily normal humans can't see the power source that's inside the witches heart.
Vrykolakas/Vampires:
Vrykolakas are made by the Goddess/God/Numen of Violence. There are different types of Vrykolakas! Daywalkers, Psychic Vrykolakas, Animalistic Vrykolakas, Hybrid Vrykolakas, Tribrid Vrykolakas, and just Vrykolakas. A daywalker is half human half vrykolakas. Vrykolakas can walk into the sunlight like Daywalkers, but the name Daywalkers originated from the first Half Vrykolakas Half Human having a family member who had sexual interactions with the God/Goddess/Neumen of the Sun. So Vrykolakas thought it would be funny to call them Daywalkers. Daywalkers have many similar attributes to Vrykolakas though a major difference is that Daywalkers don’t need blood to live like Vrykolakas, but as all the same powers as Vrykolakas but none of their weaknesses. Psychic Vrykolakas feed on souls rather than blood. Psychic Vrykolakas use the souls they suck up to fuel their strength, speed, sense, endurance, and agility otherwise they will grow weak and die. Animalistic Vrykolakas are a defective breed created when a human is bitten by several vrykolakas on the night of their transformation, or when a vrykolakas is starved, tortured, or subjected to holy items for too long. These are the most unstable Vrykolakas and is recommended highly that when you see one you need to stay away from it because once they become a Animalistic Vrykolakas there is no turning back. Animalistic Vrykolakas can’t control their mind nor what they do and they are most likely to go based off by their stomach. Hybrid Vrykolakas is a being that is Half Vrykolakas and Half Animal Shapeshifter. Tribrid Vrykolakas is a being that is Half Vrykolakas, Half Animal Shapeshifter, and Half Witch. A major special ability Tribrid Vrykolakas have is mind compulsion which is the ability to control minds, plague people’s dreams, and alter/erase human memories only if they are at least in a five feet radius. Vrykolakas have the abilities of hypnosis, super-strength, super speed, and mind reading.
Shallow-Hunters:
Shallow-Hunters also known in some places as Dark-Hunters or Shadow-Hunters. The age range for Shallow-Hunters is 20+ years old. Shallow-Hunter's are not allowed to marry or have children. Shallow-Hunters start off as humans but then gets "hired" by the Goddess/God/Numen of Hunting. Once a person becomes a Shallow-Hunter you cannot turn back. Shallow-Hunters cannot age or die unless killed. They also cannot retire, retiring is death in this case. If you are caught breaking any of the rules of the Shallow-Hunters you will get executed for your "crimes" against the Shallow-Hunter Community. The executer would be the God/Goddess/Numen of Hunting themselves.
Dragons:
Dragons was created by the God/Goddess/Numen of Climate. There are twelve types of dragons: fire, light, lightning, wind, sound, water, shadow, wood, earth, and metal. Dragons in general have the abilities of breathing their element, magic, flight, regenerative healing factor, enhanced agility, and superhuman strength. Fire dragons have a unique ability to set themselves on fire. Light dragons have the unique ability to freely manipulate light and colors. Lightning dragons have the unique ability to breathe streams of lightning, and they learn to fly faster than other dragon elements. Wind dragons have the unique ability to freely manipulate the wind. Sound dragons have the unique ability to control sound. Water dragons have strong swimming skills unlike other dragons and can breathe underwater unlike other dragons. Shadow dragons have the unique ability to create illusion/phantasm spells to confuse and misdirect their foes. Wood dragons have the unique skill to navigate through challenges with ease and grace, and they also have great flexibility and adaptability. Earth dragons have the unique ability to release a special gaseous breath weapon of poisonous carbon monoxide. Metal dragons tend to have body parts that are made of metals or are covered in mentals.
Mermaids:
Mermaids have the ability to mind-read and control nature. Freshwater Mermaids are the same as normal Mermaids but instead they can be in freshwater. Mermaids do not have the ability to turn into a human unlike in the stories that people have heard. Mermaids are also known as Sirens and most people think that’s an entirely different species, but in reality they are both the exact same. Mermaids can only affect their opposite gender unless they are unisex they can affect all genders. Mermaids are usually seen in groups up to having eight to fifteen mermaids at a time.
Boggart:
Boggart’s have the ability to shapeshift into other people’s fears. They usually get summoned by witches to be used to steal the thing that they choose.
Wendigo:
Wendigos have exceptionally sharp eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell as well as superhuman strength and speed. They're typically known to stay a good distance away from major cities. They like to go and be in tiny towns where hunting will be easy, and that way they have more forest to hide in than alleyways They are another species that can get summoned by witches, but usually don't because they are difficult to control and one slip up can get the summoner killed.
Qallupilluit:
Qallupilluit have two flippers, one is able to emit a shrill sound that paralyzes its victims. They also have the ability to alter their appearance. They usually live in icy areas but can be summoned by other beings. Qallupilluit will steal misbehaved children or children that are lost and take them in as their own. They can also be summoned by witches as well.
Banshees:
The Banshees, shrouded in mystique, have long been a part of Celtic folklore, their ethereal presence both feared and revered. Once regarded as part of the Fae by the ancient people of the Irish Isles, they were believed to foretell the death of family members through mournful wails and piercing screams. Over time, their image evolved from spectral omens into ghostly women, often thought to be the spirits of young girls who had died with unfulfilled love or lingering hatred. These spectral figures softened their lamentations into haunting songs when near those they cherished. Similar figures appear in Welsh and Gaelic traditions, and remarkably, tales of beings akin to Banshees stretch as far as India, suggesting a universal fascination with these enigmatic harbingers of death.
The true origins of the Banshees trace back to the Daimons of Ashmedai. Once a sub-species of Daimons, they shared some traits with Succubi. However, a great schism within the infernal realms drove the ancient Banshees to sever their ties with Hell. Their departure is cloaked in mystery; some legends claim they made a pact, others suggest they stole power, or perhaps swore an oath to the Goddess of Death herself. Whatever the truth, this event marked their transformation into the Banshees: an all-female, phantasmal race devoted to guiding lost souls and heralding death. Uniquely, while they must mate with other species to reproduce, all their offspring are born as pure Banshees, untouched by hybrid traits.
The Banshees have established a distinct matriarchal society governed by the Elder Banshee Courts, a revered council of their oldest and most powerful members, whose wisdom and strength command deep respect. Their hidden homeland lies within a secret grotto, concealed by powerful curses and illusions to deter intruders. On rare occasions, unwitting wanderers may find themselves in this enchanted realm, only to be gently redirected, scared away, or, if a Banshee is seeking companionship, invited as an honored guest.
Banshee culture is renowned for its artistry, particularly their exquisite perfumes. Each fragrance is crafted with meticulous care, intended as a gift for a beloved, and is said to be so enchanting that a single drop can captivate the senses and inspire creative genius. Despite their reputation for aloofness and emotional reserve, Banshees possess a profound respect for the balance of life and death. Beneath their often stoic exteriors, they display as much variety in personality as any other race—some are playful pranksters, others are warm and nurturing, dramatic storytellers, or deeply introspective.
Among their most poignant traditions is the use of magical bone whistles, instruments played to mourn the passing of prominent figures. These haunting melodies serve as both a tribute and a farewell, resonating with the deep reverence they hold for the departed. Their true names are considered sacred, protected by potent spells that punish those who misuse them, often with dire consequences. The voices of Banshees are among their most potent tools, as they can weave powerful spells through their words and songs.
While their magical abilities surpass those of most Daimons, Banshees lack the physical strength of their infernal kin, relying instead on their intellect, enchantments, and spiritual connections. As guardians of the dead and heralds of the beyond, the Banshees embody the delicate balance between life and death, standing as eternal bridges between the worlds of the living and the departed.
