Muse A is one of the first of a small group of humans to transfer in to a formerly all-vampire boarding school. Muse A and their human counterparts are selected to attend this school not only for their impressive GPAs but also because of their rare blood types. Tuition for the human students will be paid by means of bi-weekly blood draws administered by the school nurse; this blood will be rationed and used as nutrition for the predominantly-vampire student body. For the safety of the humans, vampire students are by no means allowed to drink directly from their classmates.. or at least they’re not supposed to.
Obviously this would PROBABLY work better as a group one with humans and vampires. I've always wanted to do this plot but never really had the balls to ask about it. I got it from http://plotsforall.tumblr.com/ if anyone was wondering

Like Ive got multiple settings in mind.
The first is similar to yours and the OG post.
My idea is that after a long "adjustment period" vampires and humans have been coexisting. Vampires once ruled the world from the shadows but humanity's never ending advance in tech have put them on a level playing field, forcing them to reconsider their option.
Vampires are a rarity making up only 5% of the population but they teach vampire courses at schools, some hold public office, and while things are still shaky, coexistance has been achieved. The elder vampire councils throughout the world have also integrated into the UN.
Vampires are not twilight vampires and are the natural predators of humans. They must feed on human blood or risk frenzy/death. Multiple means have been made to accomodate these cravings and like i said, A shaky coexistence.

Then we have also got a more medieval stand point. Knights and princesses still exist and ithats about as far as ive gone. I have a humans/vampire royal ball kind of vibe going on with this one havemt really solidified it.

Then ive got a set up similar to freezing where vampires and humans have been coexisting for awhile now and have been going to a type if military academy where vampires serve as the vanguard due to their superior phsyical abilities and humans serve as their magical counterparts. They work in pairs to take down a scourge. A different strain of vampire that are nothing more than mindless beasts, searching for their next kill.
Once partners have been chosen, vampires and humans are able to join senses by having the vampire partner exchange blood with the human one in something called a "insert name here". This doubles their combat capacity and blahblahblah cuz I havent worked out the details of this temporary union.
These military students die all of the time on the field and is a more serious tone than the first one when it comes to combat while maintaining all of the comedy silliness and romantic opportunities. A good blend of all 3 worlds in my opinion

It is normally a male, female pair and they are....normally very close so you arent too far off lmao. But normal partnerships exist.
