Taking his hand and giving it a firm, but not crushing, shake, Alex nodded. "Alright then. Just follow me..." She'd begin to walk in a different direction than the one you were heading in.

You arrived at what looked to be an abandoned building. The woman opening the front door of the multilevel complex and gesturing for you to enter. As you did, you were surprsied to see that it was surprisingly well kept. Electricity was running, the hallway before you was clean with the various doors lining either sides fully closed. The stairwell on the back end going both up and down didn't even seem foreboding as it should.

"In here." She instructed, leading you through a small door on the right. It was modest, but looked lived in. A small bed in the corner with a rug. Though there was something off about it. But you couldn't really figure it out before you heard the door shut behind you and the feeling of being grappled from behind. Soon, your head was yanked to the side as your neck was went for... but pure bliss followed as you sank unconscious.

Nodding, Allison would stare at the watch for a moment before holding out her other hand. A few moments passed before what looked to be an exact replica of the same watch appeared, telling time in sync.

Looking up she'd give him a sheepish smile, not speaking as she offered the new watch.

Mikael kept his eyes on the girl, curious as to what she was doing, the room eerily silent. He didn't look away, just watching as seemingly, out of nothing, the girl who he was eating dinner with created a watch in the middle of her palm. He tried to seem unsurprised but...he would surely fail. Instead he nearly jumped out of his chair, eyes wide as he looked at the girl, "Wait..wh...what the hell?" he asked as he took the watch out of her hand, examining it.

"That's amazing, how'd you do that?"

Angus followed, he had gone past here a few times for jobs but never before had he been inside of any of the buildings. He was curious as to how this warehouse was kept in such prestine condition but he didn’t want to ask, fearing it would break whatever blissful spell this was. When he was led to the room, he felt the hair on his arms raise, something that was odd since it only seemed to happen when something was off. As he felt someone grab him from behind and the bliss come to fill his thoughts he barely let out a soft “what th’ Fook ye dooin eh?”

"Magic." She'd respond with a smile, after a few moments. "Well... a type of magic. With some dedicated studying you could learn to do all sorts of things. And I thought that you might... be able to make use of it..." She would've glanced away from him as she said this, clearly embarrassed.

Magic? Being able to do that AND more yourself? It sounded too good to be true but she demonstrated it right before your eyes.

About to respond, you're unable to get a word out when Allison sits up and freezes. Glancing towards the door to your office she would immediately hiss "Get down!" before standing up. As soon as she got to the door someone else did as well. It wasn't someone you recognized, but they looked pissed.

"You fucking beast!" He shouts, taking whatever was in his hand and driving into Allison's chest as she tries to speak. The woman falls to the ground immediately. Not moving as he begins to kick and beat her form, shouting incoherent nonsense at her.

What the fuck is happening.
[/div][/div]

Mikael heard her speak about magic and he felt a knot form in his chest. He smiled as just the sheer thought of everything he'd be able to do with a power like that, and if she thought he could do something with it...what all could he do? Mikael couldn't seem to look away from the watch as he thought about all of the possibilities, there's no way his father wouldn't be proud of him with that power. He'd be Harry Fucking Potter.

But then he watched as the girl hissed at him, breaking him out of the slight trance as she walked to the door and he saw the figure in the doorway. "Excuse..." He tried to speak before watching as the man drove something through the girl's chest and he watched as her body fell down, limp on the ground.

All sounds around him seemed to descend into nothingness, his chance at magic gone, hell, even if that wasn't gone, there was a dead girl in his office. That would surely cause plenty of other problems. But Mikael did what Mik did best; he didn't listen. Instead he stood up from his desk, walking slowly, mindlessly over to the door, eyes on Allison's body as the man continued his assault on her.

"Who the fuck are you!?!?" He yelled, anger obvious in his voice.

The man looked up, a wild gleam in his eye as he took a step towards you. "Are you one of them too? One of those-"

He was cut off as Allison spoke up. "Leave." It was soft but commanding, the man instantly shutting up and complying.

Once he was gone, you had a clear view of the girl. She was leaning against the door frame, still on the floor. It looked to be a wooden pole sticking out of her chest. She taking a moment before gripping onto the end and slowly tugging it out. A dark blood coated the end that didn't flow like natural blood at all. In fact, the wound wasn't even bleeding.

If you were too get a better look at the wound it was clear it went deep. But as she grimaced and furrowed her brow for a moment, you could see the flesh begin to knit itself back together before your eyes.

It didn't fully heal, hardly so. And better yet she appeared exhausted afterwards, not looking up towards you as she was trying to stand with the help of the wall.

Mik looked at the man, seeing that blood thirst in his eyes as he questioned Mik's...allegiance? Blood type? Magical capability? He wasn't entirely sure but the boy tried to stand strong, not wanting to back down after seeing such a sight. But then he heard something he was not at all expecting, he heard Allison's voice and watched as the man walked away with no complaints.

Mik looked to the girl, watching as she tugged a wooden...something out of her chest, but all in all, she wasn't dead like he thought she was so that...that helped. But either way the boy moved forward, trying to put an arm around the slender girl, "I...I thought you were dead. He was...he was beating you so brutally" He said before looking back at the wound in her chest.

"How can I help?"

"Surprise!" She tried to respond weakly, leaning on you heavily as she inspected the various bruises now littering her body. "Help?...” She was clearly nervous about something, biting her lip as glanced away. As she had spoke, you swore you saw her in incisors extended unnaturally far.

“I-I think, ugh...” she would’ve leaned forward onto you, clearly having trouble standing.

“I’ll be fine...” Allison murmurs.

Your next feeling is an absolutely euphoric sensation, unable to notice the world going dark around you.
[/div][/div]

Mikael looked at the girl as she responded and he couldn't help but smile weakly, for some reason he had wanted her to be okay, more than just the typical, dead girl in his office problems. He wanted to know more about the magic, wanted to know why some man just came and stabbed her through the chest, he wanted to know so much from her and seeing her standing there, albeit weak, sent warmth through his body.

But he felt her lean onto him and he quickly moved his hands, catching the girl as he laughed. "What did you do to make that guy mad?" he asked with a laugh as he placed his hand on the small of her back. But before he knew it, he felt something so...amazing, spread over him. It was better than any high he had ever had, lights dancing and what seemed like angels singing, he couldn't help but laugh as this strange feeling consumed him.

Epiphany Epiphany
Slowly you blink your eyes open, feeling as if you’d been sleeping for days. Coming to you barely notice anything before something is shoved into your mouth. It was warm and coated in plastic, like someone had heated up a TV dinner but didn’t bother opening it all the way.

Then it began to leak into your mouth. And instead of, well, anything else you could’ve expected, a strangely wonderful taste replaced it. Eager swallowing and removing the contents from the bag, you grew more aware of what you were doing until you could remove it from you mouth yourself.

A blood bag. B+.

“Oh thank God you’re awake.” Matthew would sigh, standing beside the hospital bed he had once laid in, taking the bag from you and setting it aside. “We... need to be going. Preferable as soon as you feel well enough to walk. I can explain once we’re somewhere private.”

WetHawk WetHawk
The gangbanger’s scream is what jolts you conscious, but just in time to realize that you’re digging your teeth into his throat. It took effort to break the skin without anything sharp, but you managed. Drinking deeply. It was the best thing you had ever tasted, but short-lived as he quickly stopped moving beneath you.

“Sir?” The voice spoke up behind you, allowing you to remove yourself from the corpse and turn around. It was Joshua, blood drenching his mouth and uniform. As he saw you were responsive he took hold of his radio and spoke into it, saying everything was fine and that backup wasn’t necessary.

Finishing the kid would avert his gaze. “I, um... dammit I can explain I just... the paramedics weren’t going to be here in time a-and I know you have your daughter...” It was clear he was an emotional, unstable mess right now.

You’re back was a bit sore as you began to stir, trying to move but slowly learning you were being restrained. “Easy does it.” You heard a faint voice say, something reaching your lips. The edge of a glass. It’s contents are poured into your mouth, it being warm and sweet. Eagerly you drink until the glass is taken away, you unable to hide the slight disappointment it brought.

"There we go. How ya feeling?" Alex would ask, her hands on her hips as she stood beside you. You felt... strange. Tired, sore, and slightly hungry with an unfamiliar sensation in your chest. Of course you were also tied to the bed with some basic ropes...

Slowly you come to lying on the floor of your office, the first thing you hear would be the sound of your name with the weight of something in your mouth. "Mikael?" The word was weak, almost desperate sounding as Allison's face filled your vision. It was clear she was upset, though her tears didn't appear natural, but rather made of blood.

The weight was removed from your mouth, the taste left behind tempting and leaving you wanting more. Still you were able to divert your attention to the woman as she tried to help you sit up. "I'm sorry, oh god Mikael, I didn't mean it..." The words tumbled out of her mouth faster than she could process them.

While sitting up you got a better look at the woman, who was appearing much less wounded, but also an unconscious woman lying beside her. One you though you saw around human resources before but you weren't entirely certain.
[/div][/div]

MIk ran a hand through his hair as he looked up at the bright lights of his office, hearing Allison's voice before looking at her. The streaks of red running down her face only further confused the man as he tried to sit up and he ran a hand through his hair. Everything was confusing him, what was this taste in his mouth? It wasn't Chinese. He hadn't gone on a bender. And why did he want more? He was barely able to pay attention to Allison, hearing her apologize to him as he just looked around and finally noticed the lump body on the floor.

"Why is there another dead girl in my office?" He asked as he looked around, running a hand through his hair as he was finally up and sitting as he looked over the room, "I'm gonna get fired..."

I’m feelin’ a bit off but I could be worse.” Angus looked around himself, then he was hit by the events that caused him to fall unconscious “what’d ya do te me? What was ‘at brew I drank, why does ma chest feel off?” He groaned “why te restraints alex?”

Jeff dropped the body to the ground, hands trembling as he turned to Jonas in shock. “What... what the fuck? Where the hell did ya... when did I... did I just eat that bastard?”

Noticing Jonas’s current emotional state, Jeff knew he wasn’t going to get any straight answers out of the kid. He walked up to him and shock him firmly but gently to get his attention. “Listen to me, Jonesy... I have no idea what the fuck just happened... but thank you. Thank you for giving me another chance to be with my little girl.” Jeffrey turns around to look at the scene behind him and sighs. “I suppose that’s what matters most of all to me. I want some answers outta you, kid, but first we gotta take care of this situation here.”

Jeff put a hand to his mouth, feeling the warm sticky redness, and licking his lips. Since when did blood ever taste so good? He crouched to the ground to examine the body he had found himself consuming and looked back to Jonas. “Somethin’ tells me that what you did to me isn’t exactly legal... what the fuck are we going to do about this mess?”

Being an intern hadn't been that long ago. Kanika had worked 36 hour shifts where one didn't notice the taste, texture or edibility of whatever one could put in their mouth for raw fuel to keep functioning. So the plastic wasn't entirely offputting, especially when the flavor kicked in.

Once the flavor was gone, though, reason returned and sheer horror replaced the lingering satisfaction in her stomach. "What?" She shifted her gaze to Matthew, then pressed against her throat. Had she hallucinated being bitten? What the hell was going on?

"I'm sorry, what? What's going on here?" Kanika slid off the hospital bed without thinking, only realizing once she stood on her feet that she felt fine. Cold but fine. She parted the curtain around the bed enough to see most of the hospital activity was on the other side of the ER bay. This was already private enough, given he'd apparently knocked her out or whatever he'd done and no one had noticed. "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what just happened."

She held the empty blood bag in one hand. Only now noticing that she still did, Kanika shuddered in revulsion and tossed it in one of the biohazard containers.
