Vampire manor rp zone

Cinn stood  and left the table, heading outside into the rain towards the ice chest and leaving the servants' door open.  Walking the short distance across the yard to the ice chest, he opened it and removed a couple bottles of milk, looking up at the clouds overhead as he closed the ice chest.   The servants took ice from the nearby river and put the ice here to keep their meats and drinks cold.   Turning, he walked back towards the house and made his way back to the kitchen.   Shutting the door behind him, Cinn walked back to the table and set a glass bottle in front of Ebony without a word before resuming his seat and opening his own bottle, taking a gulp of the white frothy liquid.  @mewbot5408

 The elf put the horses' reins on the seat and climbed down to stand beside the door of the carriage, his light  blue eyes watching the crowds beside him.  He'd been working with this team of horses' ever since they'd been born four years ago, the last team of horses having been old and unfit to pull their weight any longer, and they knew to stand still while waiting for his master to enter the carriage, sometimes with Sayuri.     The horses, two fine black steeds, didn't mind the rain though the flashes of lightning and the occasional roll of thunder in the sky above caused them to be nervous naturally, given that they were prey animals.  Aymer didn't say anything, other than to occasionally look up at the sky, his eyes most staying on his surroundings in front of him.  The elf wondered how the half-vampire would fair being the guard to one the male Sourceblood and how he'd deal with being expected to let their master feed on him on occasion.   He wasn't sure whether half-vampires were picky about having their blood taken or not, he knew that it didn't bother him or Sayuri to have their master and occasionally their mistress feed off of them.  Other vampires feeding on them weren't allowed by Anwar or Jinan.   Now that Jinan was awake, Aymer wondered if they would be traveling to India to see her.

"the maidservant that used to treat my wounds after I was beaten. she stayed at my parents' home after I left to live with that man. He had his servants treat me but none of them were as kind." Aria says closing her eyes, "I have forgotten what true kindness feels like. you know how it is in the world of nobles, deacon. Everyone lies, every smile is fake and every kind act is laced with ulterior motives."

"I know that all too well considering I'm very good at lies and manipulation" Deacon ran his fingers through her hair, smiling as he looked to Elaine. "I am still cruel and mean, but I don't think I've ever truly harmed you, would you like me to change that?" He asked as he kissed the top of her head.

"no I think I'd like to have fond memories of at least one person, if you don't mind." Aria looks up to him, "I hope this man you know is gentle but still know how to please a woman." she teases him. This moment feels like they had never been separated at all, she likes this feeling.

@Ceat6

"he has some experience, you really should pleased with him" Deacon looked up seeing his home. Leaning close to her ear "Be careful when we lay down, Elaine has her own spot next to me, she may try to kill you" he warned.

"may I teach her a lesson or two if she tries?" Aria laughs, "I wouldn't hurt her too badly." Aria takes a look at the house, "it is very you, Deacon."

The music had faded now and Sayuri had the fire mostly banked with earth, only enough flame remained to keep the porridge hot.    She stood, no longer hearing music from the ballroom and poked her head out of the door. There was the faint sound of voices by the door but as the voices were not her master she ignored them.   Standing she walked towards the sink and drew some water, using it to wash-up and remove the sweat from her forehead due to the heat of the fire.  Using the hem of her apron to dry her face off, Sayuri then went to a window and opened it enough to allow some fresh air into the kitchen as well as air out the heat from the oven and fire.   The neko maid made a second loaf of bread Anwar and placed it within the oven to cook and sat in one of the chairs around the table to wait.    Sayuri had learned as a child to never leave the kitchen when cooking a meal from her mother.  Sadly the race of nekos was nearly extinct with some nekos mating with other creatures, the pure nekos were even rarer.   She was lucky that her master had agreed to let her breed with another pure neko to keep the race alive if she desired.   Sayuri may only be a child still but she knew from her father that many masters wouldn't allow such a grace to their female servants. They were responsible for helping bear their master's children and could have no other.

Cinn lifted his head as he scented the air, detecting the stranger was still at the door to the Roussel manor.  "Stay here," he said to Ebony as he stood, carrying his bottle of milk with him.    Cinn left the kitchen and made his way through the first floor to the door where his mother was standing inside the manor with the stranger he had heard before when following Ebony downstairs to the kitchen.   As Cinn approached he saw a male at the door, carrying some type of bag.  A traveler then?   There seemed to be a lot of travelers coming to the manor these past few nights.   "Who are you and why are you here?" Cinn questioned, distrustful as ever of strangers appearing out of nowhere.  "Are you one of us?"  He had noticed that the other vampire named Deacon had apparently left the manor which relieved him for Ebony's sake.  At least he hadn't detected Deacon's scent anywhere within the manor.   The other vampire noble that had been admiring the roses  had been oddly absent but now there was this stranger.     Cinn figured it if were a werewolf, it would be dead and skinned by now, but it was best to be sure this person was in fact a vampire and not a werewolf or mage.   This stranger didn't seem like one of the hunters or mages from his childhood and didn't smell like he'd been in contact with Cinn's ex, though his ex would likely show up himself if he had a mind to do so.    The white haired vampire shook his head and focused his thoughts back on the stranger in front of the Roussel manor.   @JayOokami

Jayce turns to him and bows, "I am Jayce, I'm new in town and I was told about lady Octavia, I prefer not to step on another Vampire's toes, to much potential for fighting." he explains, leaving out his last name has become a habit at this point, "is my presence here a problem?" visually Jayce doesn't seem all that out of the ordinary, "up until now I've been a traveler, but the wonderment of it has decayed for me."

@eclipsehowls

The only other time Cinn could remember such a number of vampires in the manor, and granted this was a very small number, was at his father's funeral and his return from the hunters.  Though it had been mostly family, other vampires who had known his father had come to express their condolences to his mother for the loss of her husband.   His thoughts were wandering again weren't they?  He gave himself a mental shake and ducked beneath his mother's arm, stepping out to look the...vampire...over.   Despite the rain falling and the storm outside,  Cinn's sense of smell was well honed and was able to pick up the odd scent of the stranger.  The heir of the Roussel family walked around the stranger once he had determined this was in fact a vampire.   When he came to a stop in front of Jayce again, the heir looked back to his mother before sighing.  He couldn't think of anyone who would tell strangers about his mother or where their manor was.

"No problem I suppose," said Cinn, resigned to someone else staying within the manor.   "You'll be needing a room then I suppose.   Don't feed on the servants.  There's working girls and orphans for that...or the prison if you want a challenge," he said.   His mother moved away from the door and left to do whatever it is she did when she wasn't running businesses or shopping for dresses...unless she got Ethel to make all her dresses.  Cinn preferred not to know so didn't ask.   Cinn made his way towards the stairs, waving behind him for the stranger to follow him.    "Kindly shut the door," he said.   He'd find a servant to make a meal for the guest.    @JayOokami

"thank you, I'm glad that you think so" Deacon moved her next time exiting with Elaine in his arms. "I'm sorry, but I'll stop her and deal with her punishment, I don't allow anyone else to even touch her usually" Deacon brushes Elaine's hair from her face. "She's my daughter Aria"

Jayce shut the door and followed the person, "Lady Octavia already told me about the servants. I have already fed for the day anyway." Jayce informs him, "this mansion is wonderfully made aesthetically, a work of art almost." he says. he own parents' home was large but this seemed to dwarf it in comparison. Jayce glanced around the manor as they walked, he seemed calm but had his own degree of caution, as nice as these people seemed, he knew very little about them.

"is she? well that caught me by surprise." Aria walks beside him, "it has been quite sometime since I've last visited someone else's home, needless to say I don't have many I can consider friends." Aria tells Deacon, she was quite nervous but also excited, she felt like she was 30 years younger, meeting a new young man. She also fears what he might think later.

@Ceat6

Deacon opened the door stepping inside. "Make yourself at home, I'm going to go lay Elaine down, she's had a rough day of shopping" Deacon headed up a stairwell to his bedroom. Laying Elaine down he covered her up. Smiling as he tucked her in then headed back down to Aria. "She isn't my blood daughter, after her family was killed I took her in, changed her, and gave her a purpose for living"

@JayOokami

"and here I was worried you wanted to start a harem." Aria teases him as she moves to stand before him, "didn't I used to be taller than you?" she says looking up to him. Aria embraces him in yet another hug without warning.

"I, Logan Walker pledge to never attempt to betray, kill or steal from my master or mistress." He quickly brushed off his coat, then sheated his sword, "I, Logan Raymond Walker, willingly enter service of the Sourceblood, Anwar Tawfeeq,  and by extenstion Sourceblood, Jinan Shareef. I swear on my blood and life that I will not reveal the last names of who I work for, nor speak of thier true blood. I, Logan Raymond Walker, will serve with honor and dignity the duties of my position until death takes me. On my blood and life, as Lucifer and God watch, I swear." He finished. "Now I am ready to serve, master." He said, kneeling down. (That was hell to copy)

Cinn only paused to hear the sound of the door shutting behind Jayce.  "If you'd like history on the manor and who built it, you'll have to ask my mother," Cinn said.  "I've never concerned myself with the history of who built the manor."  Such details had never interested him before.     Grabbing a servant, he spoke in the maid's ear before sending the woman on her way.  "The guest wing is on the left, the resident wing is on the right.  Mother's sanctuary is the entire third floor, behind a door with a tapesty of a griffin.  Kindly don't enter the resident rooms, let alone my mother's."   Looking around to make sure his mother wasn't in hearing shot as he began climbing the stairs, Cinn spoke in a whisper.  "She's a rather scary woman when angered or interrupted.  At least two of the guest rooms are occupied, one guest moved out of the manor...thank Lucifer but you are welcome to any room that is unoccupied and suits your fancy."  After a moment he sighed again.  "I am Cinn Roussel, son of Octavia Roussel and Benjamin Atticus."  It was rare that the son of the domineering woman downstairs spoke his father's name in the manor, let alone to a guest.    @JayOokami

Aymer opened the door as the new servant pledged his life and blood the two Sourcebloods.   "Welcome Logan," said Aymer sincerely and with genuine happiness.  It would be nice to converse with someone other than Sayuri for a change.

Anwar listened to both oaths without interruption, watching for any signs of subterfuge but it appeared, like the rest of those who became the servants of the two Sourceblood, that this half-blood vampire was sincere in his oath.  The sheathing of sword was an ancient tradition of fealty and he was glad to see it had not been discarded with the passage of the centuries.  Anwar helped Logan to his feet, then waved a hand to the carriage, signaling for the guard to enter first and make himself comfortable. The pale gold light that wound itself like a thread around Logan's wrists while he was saying the oath assured the Egyptian.  It was a simple magical binding spell, created when the two Sourcebloods had been looking for a way to bind servants to them.  The High Priest had then been destroyed by the pair to protect themselves but the ancient magic couldn't be broken.   They'd ensured that.  He had conveniently forgotten to mention that lack of sincerity meant one's death.  Such a thing was necessary.  Without the Sourcebloods, the vampire race would go extinct.   "Questions will be answered, if you have them, when we are on our way.  For now, I and my maid are staying at the Roussel family manor while Aymer stays with the team and carriage in the livery."  @LoneSniper87

"I'll be more than happy to stay in whichever room, it really does not matter. as for entering anyone else's room I do not have any interest in it." Jayce Tells Cinn, "it is nice to meet you Mr. Cinn." he pulls out the book from his bag, "I have some reading to catch up on, it will surely keep me occupied." he did not really care about the history of the manor but he did not want to come off as rude, "I'm very thankful you are allowing me to be a guest in your home my....inheritance has began to run low." he pauses before Inheritance and puts strange emphasis on the word. it didn't really describe it properly but it would suffice.

"With all do respect, I find it if I am to be your gaurd I will stay with you at all reasonable times, so I will accompany you the Roussel family manor." He told Anwar as he stepped inside the carriage, moving across to sit at the far side. "I'm glad you decided to offer me such a once in a lifetime opprotunity, I knew the ring would catch up sooner or later." Logan looked out the window, to the slums, once his home, his stomping grounds, his kingdom, he had fame here. And now he would leave it behind to protect and serve two Sourcebloods, and serve by whatever else his new master may have as servants.

The vampire grimaced at being addressed by his first name with the title Mister in front of it.  "A maid will be by at some point to show you the dining room where a meal is being prepared," said Cinn.  He hummed as Jayce thanked him for staying within the manor and then spoke of his dwindling inheritance.   "If your inheritance is low, make a name for yourself within the world," said Cinn.  "There must be a useful talent you have that would allow the humans to hire you on as an employee.   Put yourself out there, work hard and save wisely. Diligence and perseverance are the keys to being successful."  Reaching the second floor, he moved to the right of the staircase and pointed a finger towards the left half of the second floor.  "Guest rooms are down there.  I'll leave you to your reading then."   With a bow, the Roussel heir began to make his way back downstairs.  @JayOokami

(Sorry about the oaths being a pain to write.)

Anwar hummed and gave a short nod, entering the carriage after Logan and took his usual seat.  The door closed behind him and Aymer climbed back onto the seat at the front of the carriage, picked up the reins and snapped them over the team's backs.  With a snort, the horses began to pull the carriage.   "It's a pleasure to have such an interesting person within my service and will be a new experience for myself as well," Anwar commented.   He'd never taken a half-vampire before as a servant and refused to do so with full vampires...unless of course the Sourcebloods were taking Chosen Guardians for themselves...humans turned into vampires by the Sourcebloods.   "That is fine.  I'm sure the young woman wouldn't mind my bringing a new servant into her home and you may have the room across from mine if you prefer.  To my knowledge it is empty.   Now, as I said your talents were wasted within the fighting ring but if that is what you enjoy, you're welcome to continue doing so.  You will be my guard and potentially my personal assassin as well, mostly killing wolves, hunters, rogue vampires and mages.  As for addressing other vampires of noble standing, you may refer to them as Sir or Ma'am.  You would only address Master to myself and Mistress to Jinan.   If you have questions, such as about your oath and the meaning of Sourceblood, you may ask.  General questions are fine as well if you'd prefer."   @JayOokami

"thank you again." Jayce says to Cin as he heads over to a room and looks around as he places his bag onto the bed.

"I have no questions at the moment, Master." He informed Anwar. He sat back and enjoyed the ride.(and its Logan.) He watched whatever blurred by, "So went frim disarming in the ring to killing in the field, not much of a difference except for a flick of my wrist, no?" He said with a grin. "And as I said before, I can use just about anything you require of me."

Cinn nodded in reply and continued down the stairs, heading back towards the kitchen where he'd left Ebony, enjoying the patter of the rain against the roof.

(Oops, I'll correct that.)

Anwar settled back against the seat as the carriage made its way through London and towards the manor.   "Mages are a powerful annoyance.  Wolves are generally difficult, though best to kill after the full moon when they're weakened by their transformation.   Depending on the age of the rogue vampire, they can range from being rather stupid to a challenge.  I classify newborns as those who have just been bitten until their tenth year of life as a vampire.   Your regular vampires from eleven up until 500 years when they hit the age of elder.  Very few making it to elder, rarer will you find a vampire who is ancient.  As long as you don't rush headlong into danger and take the time to know your prey's strengths and weaknesses, any allies they could call upon, you should do fine...given your experience it seems in the ring."   Feeling Jinan's annoyance in his mind, he chuckled and sent a teasing thought back to her which resulted in the woman's anger.  He could just picture Jinan storming off in a huff, whatever servants she had with her still hurrying after her.   The image produced a smile on the Sourceblood's face.  "Then you have a good skill.  Most can only wield one or two weapons I've found.  Very few are able to deal with a variety."  @LoneSniper87

Deacon blushed growling at her "is there anything wrong with wanting to start the ultimate harem?" He asked curiously as he hugged her back. "Want to join my harem?" He asked her trying to keep a straight face.

"why do you need a harem when you have me?" Aria asks completely serious, "some may call me a heartless monster but I still think I am quite the catch Deacon."  she loosens her grip but stays close, "howabout you give me a tour of your home? I'm sure there is a few interesting spot, right?"
