Fantasy Vampire Knight : A New Beginning

[Uasal]

Cross Academy, the most esteemed Academy in all of Europe. Truly a place of knowledge and learning. Yet it is here that a dark secret is kept from the public masses.


Vampires.That's right vampires are real , and they make up the night class of Cross Academy. These beings posses the bodies of models and the brains of ,well Bill Gates I suppose. Anyway the point is both Vampires and Humans attend this academy and both attend classes at different times.


Humans during the day and Vampires during the night. Well you probably guessed that yourself right.


Right let me answer a few of your questions ;


So How do these two races get along within the school grounds ? Well actually the Night Class are treated like celebrities here on campus. I'm telling you every one of them looks like a model !


Now how can you have vampires on campus without them killing the humans ? Well with blood pills. These pills provide the vampires with everything they need to live , they taste god awful and aren't to kind to the stomach but they work as they should.


What happens if the pills fail ? Well that's what the disciplinary committee is for. The committee is made up of two human students who know of the vampires secret and also know how to combat them. They are armed with an assortment of concealed , silver , arms to do so. However the committee also takes care of the human party as well , as I mentioned before they treat the night class like celebrities ! There mad !


Finally , What will happen this year at Cross academy ? Why don't you find out ?

Clair was laying upon one of the many Sofa's within the night Dorm , reading a book actually. You see Vampires didn't really need any sleep or rest for that matter , it was more of a leisure activity for them as opposed to a necessity. So as you'd expect things got pretty boring at times , therefore Clair fond herself reading quite a lot of books in her free time. These books weren't of any set genre but that was only because it kept things interesting , in fact if one were to enter her room both in the dorm and at 'home' , well they would find quite a lot high bookshelves stacked to the brim.


Anyway I'm getting sidetracked here ! Clair was laying upon a sofa reading a book and what sat on the table beside her was a wine glass filled with water , said water containing her soluble blood pill which had given the water a light red hum. After finishing her book she sat up and took a sip of the horrid concoction, gagging as she did "Honestly , I swear this tastes more horrid every time I try it...."

Kyo was currently drapped across a couch of his own. He too was reading a book, though not by choice. It was a rather dull tale, with weak character and predictable plot. Relieved to have anything other than the book to focus on he glanced up at the dorm president. "It does have a rather repulsive flavor." He sighed and dragged himself up into a sitting position before popping a tablet into his mouth. They were almost better dry, probably less nourshing but the taste was more managable. "You know," He began, shooting her a glance from the corner of his eye. "You could always have a drink of mine." He winked playfully.

Clair O'Reilly

Clair crossed her right leg over her left and then did the same with her arms once she had left her glass back down upon the table. Kyo's last line ,admittedly, prompted her to smile ever so slightly. Had she not have had the horrible taste in her mouth she probably would have smiled more at the jest. However What he had said was undoubtedly tempting , Clair hadn't had real blood in over three months now and it was starting to get to her on a subconscious level.


With the same soft smile she had worn before and with an even softer tone Clair replied to the boy "I'm so fed up with these pills I may actually take you up on your offer"

Kyo's eyebrows shot up in suprise, he set down his book. "That bad, huh?" He asked, leaning forward. He was actually a little concerned about the other pureblood. Naturally he couldn't actually let her have his blood, otherwise she'd find out about his actual identity. "You know that if you asked I wouldn't say no, but you could always go into town. When you're off campus the headmaster can't say anything." He stood and stretched, before plopping back down on the couch with a sigh.

Clair lay back into the couch with a sigh and thought on the idea for a few moments. Going into town certainly was a good way to get blood and a lot of it but with that being said if Clair done it every one else would follow suit and then there would be a blood bath. And a blood bath tends to be picked up quite quickly by both the hunters and the council which ,debatably, would be even worse. Nope going into town was a bust and Clair didn't just want to go around sucking the blood of Kyo for the rest of her time at Cross academy , she'd just have to make due with the dalm pills unfortunately. "No , that won't work. I'll just have to stick to these dalm pills for now. Besides the disciplinary committee have me pretty pinned as it is , if I were to go to town one of these nights I'd more than likely lose the right to leave the dorm."

Kyo was relieved, but he made sure not to show it. Instead he snorted at her comment, "I'd like to see them try." He murmered before standing up once more. "Do you know how much longer it is until class starts?" He asked, running his hands through his hair in an effort to fix it. It was rather sad, but Kyo was actually looking forward to class. It was something to do, albeit a boring something to do but something none the less.

Clair had to hand it to Kyo he defiantly had a sense of humor , either that or he was just out right stupid. either way it was a part of his personality that she liked "Really , rules are rules and even I must obey them. Silver hurts , nearly as much as lightning mind you". With a quick glace of her watch she answered Kyo's question and reminded herself of just how long she had left to drink the glass that sat before her "Thirty two minutes. We'll be leaving in twenty two". After answering Clair took the glass in her hand once again and attempted to drink it.

Kyo winced at the implication. He could only imagine what it would be like to get hit by her lightening. He quickly wiped his face clean of all emotion and nodded. He turned and made his way up the stairs towards him room. He had yet to change into his uniform. It was much too...white for his tastes. He'd rather the day class uniform if it weren't for the fact it was only for the humans. He sighed and pushed his door open. He breifly debated skipping and sleeping the day, or rather night, away. However, Clair probably wouldn't like it. With this in mind he quickly dressed before making his way back downstairs.

Clair had already been dressed for class when Kyo left to do so himself. While he was gone Clair had managed to down the rest of her water and had even tided it away in the kitchen before retaking her seat. Clair personally didn't like the hassle of getting to the night class , first of all there were hundreds of humans lined up ten feet away from her on both sides , combine that with the fact the pills were horrid and well you get quite the craving. That and these humans always wanted to get closer to the night class ! If they'd just stay behind the line things would be so much easier !


Clair was taken out of her thought when she heard Kyo return , with a quick look she noticed his tie was loose and instinctively moved to fix it. Her body coming extremely close to his as she did so , her face more so than any other part "Honestly one thousand years of age and you still can't tie a decent tie".

Genesis yawned lazily and prepared for the evening rush. She'd snuck out of class and spent most of the afternoon napping. Unfortunatly, she would have hell to pay once the teacher found her. She sighed and ran a hand through her tangled hair before climbing to her feet. She then strode out to the gates, where unsuprisingly girls were already waiting. God, this is so stupid. What is so great about the night class??!?! Genesis scowled darkly at the girls and began the long job of keeping them in line. There was nothing she hated more than fan girls.

Kyo smirked at her sudden closeness and he took a step forward, "Maybe it's because I want you to keep fixing it." He grinned, fully expecting to be whacked or at the very least reprimanded. The truth was that he'd never learned how to 'tie a decent tie'. No matter, there had always been someone around to fix it. "Or maybe it's cause the ladies think it's roguishly handsome." He winked playfully.

Alphonse had stayed in his room most of the day, and was rather bored. He was now dressed and ready for class, though truth be told he was thinking about skipping. He tiled his head side to side as he weighed his options and ultimately decided to attend. First though he took his horrid pill to help curve his hunger. Making his way down the hall, he spied Clair and Kyo together. 'It might be fun to interrupt whatever it was Kyo was trying to do.' He thought to himself and stepped towards the two "Really? I just think it's sloppy, but then I'm no lady." Alphonse chimed in having heard the last bit of conversation, with a small chuckle. Given what Clair was doing it was rather oblivious they were discussing something to do with his tie. "Speaking of ladies how is the lovely Clair, being helpful as always?" He asked though he expected to be told off and asked to leave.

Cedric wasn't really sure what all the hype about the night class was, sure they looked beautiful but he'd never had much interaction with any of them to know more than that. So since his curiosity had gotten the better of him he made his way to the gates to see if perhaps he could make a friend and discover what was so neat about the night class. He looked through the crowd of girls who seemed to be rather crazy, he was thankful that he could see some with their head on straight and maintaining some sort of order as he wasn't to thrilled by the screams and squeals the girls where making.

The girls were getting out of control. It was almost worse than usual. Genesis scowled darkly, "I get that they're attractive but is it worth all of this!" She muttered, trying to calm down the girls. She didn't want to think about how bad it would be once the night class actually made it outside. She took a deep breath to prepare herself and stepped forward. She attempted to push some of the girls back, to no avail. The girls surged forward and pushed her. Genesis tried to catch her ballance and failed. Rather she fell backwards onto someone else. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I just-"

Cedric had had about enough for the noise and wanted to go back to his quiet room. He was just about to leave when girl fell on top of him and he stumbled backwards himself. "It's okay." He replied to girl, "Are you okay?" Cedric asked curiously as he started to dust himself off. He wasn't hurt badly or anything ad since she was on top of him he hoped that she wasn't hurt to badly either. Cedric offered the girl his hand, "Here let me help you back up." He smiled.

Genesis sighed and took his hand. "I'm fine," She shot a dark look over at the girls. "Although they won't be when I get my hands on them." She muttered under her breath.Naturally the fan girls paid her no notice, and continued with their endless giggling and screaming. She waited several moments and let herself relax. She turned back towards him, "I don't think I know you. I'm Genesis, Genesis Mathews." She offered a hand to shake.

She walked into school ignoring the fangirls. She tossed her flaming red hair over her shoulder and sat in a corner and began to read. The book was good but she wasnt quite in the mood for it. Finally getting up Rose decided to pace the school. She plugged in her head phones and turned uo the hard rock music as loud as she could stand it. She hummed along and her heeled boots made clacking noises as she walked down the hall. Being just a human girl she knew she would not be noticed.

Clair had't quite noticed how close she was to Kyo until he took a step closer to her , somewhat taking her by surprise. Clair would have hit Kyo right there and then had Alphonse not chimed in with his own witty remark "Did I not just speak to you about silver and lightning Kyo ? Or is that you don't believe me ?". When she finished with the tie Clair took a few steps back and inspected her work , happy now with the alterations she decided to address the question posed by Alphonse "I am rather good this morning Alphonse , at least I am now that I managed to take that ghastly pill. How are you ? I don't believe you've left your room in quite some time."

Kyo sighed and leaned back against the wall behind him. He wasn't going to push it though, he'd rather not push her buttons. After all, he didn't want to be on the recieving end of her lightening. A purebloods power was not to be taken lightly, their attacks always had quite the sting. He pushed off of the wall and strode over to the couches again. He took a seat and picked up the book he'd left behind earlier. In a matter of seconds however he tossed it over his shoulder. He scowled and pulled out another blood tablet. He popped a few in his mouth, much like pills. It was incredibley hard living on a diet of the blood tablets. It was never quite enough for him and he often took several at a time. It probably wasn't healthy and tasted terrible, but it sated his hunger. If only temporarily.

Kyo's eyes shot up to her. He shut the tin tightly and slipped it back in his pocket before answering. "Four." He muttered, knowing that taking that many wouldn't be even remotly smart for an aristocrat to do. He would be fine, with a small stomachache tops. But since he'd been found out, he'd have to play the role of the aristocrat who couldn't control himself. He dropped his gaze to the floor, refusing to look at her. She was sure to reprimand him. All he could hope is she would soon forget and he wouldn't have to pace himself. The hunger truly was the hardest part of attending at this school.

Clair was taken by surprise when Kyo averted his gaze , she had been talking to him and he didn't have the manners to face her as she did so. Honestly this was disappointing behavior especially for Kyo , you know if you excluded his tendency to flirt with almost anything he could do so with. Had she gotten to soft ? Was this her doing in some roundabout way ? Well if it was that would cease right now !


With a firm tone and upright posture Clair spoke to Kyo "Kyo , you dare look away from me while I speak ? Have you forgotten whom it is that you are in the presence of ? Do I need remind you ?". Before the aristocrat had time to give his reply Clair had pinned him firmly to the wall ,by the neck, with her left hand. "I am ordering you not to take anymore blood tablets until I say otherwise , Is that understood !"

Kyo stared wide eyed at the pureblood. He'd expected to be reprimanded but nothing like this. Although he should have known she would react like this. It was almost ironic, the power she held over him simply because he was hiding his true nature. He couldn't even fight back. It was the punishment that would be truly difficult. Without blood tablets who knew how bad the hunger would get, and if he lost control... But he couldn't deny the other pureblood, it would make his own blood status all to obvious. "Y-yes" He gasped out. It would be fine, he'd just have to wait until she wasn't around.

Clair eased her grip on the boys neck and slowly let him slide back down to his feet , keeping eye contact the entire time she did so. Hopefully that would keep him in line , she didn't want to have to do something lie this again especially to an aristocrat. With a sharp sigh she turned back to face the door of the dorm , moving now at a normal pace towards it she announced "were leaving , fix your jacket and try to show some manners in front of the day class". @Taran @Love You to Death

Kyo sighed in relief. He took a deep breath and leaned back against the wall. He closed his eyes and reeled in his panic and anger. He was going to be fine, as soon as he had the chance he would get more tablets. Although he was beginning to sound like an addict, like he just needed another fix. No, he thought firmly, he was fine. He rolled his eyes and pushed off of the wall. After straightening his jacket he walked over towards the door and opened it with a flourish.


"Ladies first." He winked at Clair, regaining his former confidence. After all he had a show to put on, and he couldn't disapoint all of his fangirls just yet. Besides, it was common curtesey to open to doors for a lady. Expecially one who outranked him. It was best to stay on her goodside.
