Max frowned as she listened to her and gave a heavy sigh "He had removed me from running the clubs. He yelled at Carmen because she was there. Ubbe showed up and pushed him away. Ivar felt betrayed, that Ubbe was picking her over family." She said shaking her head some "I'm not sure if he wants anything to do with family anymore."

Bjorn frowned more when he heard Ubbe yell Ivar and shook his head "They need to settle whatever this is...he needs to let Ivar go." He muttered looking at the floor and frowning when he saw something sticking out from under the couch. He picked it up and raised an eyebrow "Carmen. What is this?"

Aslaug just nodded and frowned, standing when they called his name and she took the lead, following his doctor. “I’m glad at least that he was brought here. How’s he doing?” She asked him. He’d been Ivars doctor for almost fifteen years now. The only reason Ivar was able to walk at all so she was glad he was in good hands at least.

Carmen frowned and shook her head. “I don’t know.” She muttered, looking at Ubbe again when he went silent, his blue eyes looking dull for the first time in his life. “Ubbe. Honey?” She murmured, squeezing his hand and just shook her head as he fell asleep. “I want to get him home.” She murres.

Max followed behind Aslaug frowning softly trying to hear what the doctor had to say but they were being quiet about "What is it? Is he okay?"

Bjorn frowned a bit and gave a small nod "I know...I know." He said quietly before he got up "I'm going to see what this might be....something doesn't seem right."

She frowned and nodded, sitting beside her husband, gently turning his head and began meticulously taking his braids out so he could be more comfortable, brushing through each section until she put it all in one large braid, wrapping it up to keep it out of the way, frowning at the nurse who had come in and was watching her do so. “He doesn’t like small tight braids when he’s sick.” She explained quietly.

Aslaug frowned and turned to look at her. “You’ll see the x-rays.” She muttered, following the doctor to Ivars room and stayed there for a short while before leaving max to privacy with him.

Ivar woke up in agony, not saying a word but just watched his fiancée, giving her hand a squeeze as much as he could. His one right arm felt okay but the rest of his body felt like it had shattered and he had been ground to dust. “Hey.” He mumbled over to max.

The nurse gave a small nod to her before looking him over "He will be okay." She said softly before leaving her by herself pulling out her phone and quickly texting her boyfriend that everything was going to plan.

Max looked up when she felt him squeeze her hand and smiled softly "Hello my love." She said softly kissing his hand gently "The doctor will be in soon to explain everything." She said softly before pressing the call button

She frowned but nodded and just curled up in the big arm chair keeping an eye on him

Ivar frowned some watching her. “You okay? You look upset.” He mumbled and gave her hand a squeeze again. “I’m pretty sure most of my body is broken.”

Bjorn came back in and frowned more taking a deep breath "I have the doctor looking at thr syringe I found, something tells me it should have never been there."

Max frowned softly and kissed his hand gently "I'm just worried about you Ivar, I'm hoping you are going to be okay." She whispered

She nodded and frowned “His lips have gone super dry.” She mumbled, pulling her Vaseline out her bag and gently rubbed it on so they didn’t get cracked. “How are the children?” She asked him quietly wanting to get her up mind off of losing her husband.

He smiled tiredly and watched her. “Broken bones will heal. I’ll be alright Max I promise.” He told her quietly, trying to get her to come closer until his doctor came in with his scans. “How bad is it doc?”

Max gave him a soft smile and nodded softly kissing cheek before the doctor came in. She took a deep breath as the doctor came in and sighed heavily as he placed the X-Rays on the screen gasping softly when she saw atleast 10 breaks on one side of his body.

Bjorn smiled some at her and pulled his phone out to show her pictures of them "They are very good, Gunhild is a great mother." He murmured happily "I never thought I would be a father. Could you imagine me from when we met a father?"

She smiled and shook her head a little. “Not with me I couldn’t. You’ve always needed someone who keeps you in line.” She told him. “You’ve done well though Bjorn.” She smiled a little.

he frowned some and just sighed. “How long for this one?” He asked his doctor. “And do I have to be here the whole time?”

Bjorn chuckled quietly and gave a small nod "Yeah I guess so, you'll both make it through this." He murmured

The doctor sighed heavily "Mr.Lothbrok you'll need to stay atleast 3 days, you'll need to use a wheelchair for this time period and take physio. We are going to look into your heart and vertigo issues over there next few days." He explained to them

He sighed but nodded and just waited til he left, looking over at max. “Where is my phone? I need to organise security. I don’t trust Ubbe not to try and pull something.” He muttered.

Carmen nodded a little and just stretched out, yawning some. “I’m gonna take a nap. Wake me if anything happens.” She mumbled.

Max frowned softly and gave him his phone sighing softly "Ivar, Ubbe is here...your mother says he isn't doing well at all. I doubt he is going to do anything to you." She said softly

Bjorn nodded some letting her put her feet in his lap taking a deep breath "I will." He murmured while he watched his younger half brother

Carmen mumbled a thank you, drifting off for a while, finally managing to get some sleep knowing someone she trusted was there with Ubbe as well.

Ivar frowned and looked at her. “I know he isn’t doing well. At least I should hope so. That means Ingrid is doing her job.” He muttered, as if it was obvious, making a phone call.

Max went wide eyed as he made the phone call. Once he hung up she shook her head some "Ivar you didn't! Ivar you can't do this!" She said pulling her hand away from his

Bjorn frowned as a doctor and nurse quickly rushed in to look him over once a few alarms went off "What is going on?"

His nurse shook her head. “We need you both to leave the room, hes not breathing on his own anymore.” She told him quickly

Ivar frowned looking over at her “What? I told you I would be taking over. I told you that this was going to get messy. I’m not the one doing it.” He muttered.

Bjorn frowned some and quickly shook Carmen awake and took her out of the room when she was barely coherent "He isn't breathing."

Max shook her head some taking a deep breath "Ivar you can't kill your own brother! This is not how you win!" She whisper yelled "Ivar this isn't you, you are not like this...." she said quietly letting a few tears fall when she saw a darkness flash through his eyes as he glared at her "Ivar you are not a man who murders his brother for something like this..."

She frowned and woke up properly hearing that. “What?! They were... he... shit.” She muttered, looking down the hall. “Why are Ivars guys here?” She questioned him.

He smirked. “Of course I am. He wants to fuck me over that bad. He’s an obstacle in the way. That’s all.” He muttered.

Bjorn frowned some and sighed heavily "Max was here earlier, I am guessing so is Ivar." He mumbled

Max frowned more shaking her head some "No he is not and you know it Ivar. He is your brother!" She said seriously

He grit his teeth and shook his head. “If this is getting too messy for you, there is the door. Welcome to my world proper.” He spat.

Carmen frowned shaking her head, trying to ignore it and just waiting to see Ubbe again when his main nurse came to talk to them about what they’d found out about that syringe.

Max frowned more as she watched him and gave a heavy sigh "Right.." she whispered before looking away from him.

The nurse sighed heavily shaking her head a bit "The syringe had a deadly poison in it, I'm not sure how this got in there but we are looking into this and trying to get the antidote as quickly as possible."

She frowned and looked over at Bjorn quickly. “He fucking didn’t.” She spat, walking straight down the hall and down to where Ivars men were , trying to push through and get into his room. “You bastard!” She screamed through the door. “You’re a coward!”

Ivar rolled his eyes but raised an eyebrow when he heard the screaming coming from just outside the door. “Oh. I think they know... good thing I got my guards here isn’t it?” He muttere.

Max frowned as she heard Carmen and gave a heavy sigh "Yeah...I guess so." She muttered before turning on the TV "We'll need to move our things to the downstairs room soon." She murmured softly

Bjorn frowned and followed her to Ivar's men pushing her aside "If you wish to live, I suggest you move." He told them seriously and smirked as they did so "Ivar, Ivar, Ivar....you will pay for this." He said before smirking at Max "You have a very lovely Fianceé, it would be a shame....if she were to...get hurt?"

Carmen frowned watching them all carefully. Not trusting a single person right now besides Bjorn.

Ivar was about to answer her when he saw his eldest brother walk in. “Don’t you fucking think about it. Ubbe deserves everything he gets and more. He doesn’t want to step down? Fine! I’ll make him step down.” He spat.

Bjorn glared at him and laughed darkly "Oh Ivar, stupud stupid Ivar, you will regret this." He said before leaving the room

Max frowned as Bjorn threatened her life "Ivar.....you don't think ...we need more protection here."
