Tsukiko awakes, looking around at her surroundings. She was in the middle of a forest, a small river not far away, judging by the sound of water. She spots several figures of other people around her, each one no longer completely human.


Ok, what have I gotten into now?


Something twitched on the top of her head and she reached up to see what it was. Her eyes widened when she realised what it was.


"Holy mother of Mew..."


She shook her head and sighed, Great...

Yato groans feeling like a Snorlax had laid on him. His vision was blurry at first before adjusting the scenery around he got to his knees a moaned. His head hurt like crazy for some reason not to mention it felt heavy. He brought a hand to his head and felt a large horn.


"What in the..." He thought feeling the structure of it, it felt familiar, the design...wait....


"Absol?" He murmured confused.

Eli coughed, straightening his back and rising to a stand. A Haze of amnesia hung over him like a cloud of gloom. He held out his wings in front of his face.


Still the same, I guess.


A Hand touched his shoulder and he jumped in fright. He heard a familiar voice speak to him.


"Aye, Aye, settle lad. You're okay now."


Eli spun his head to the voice, a sigh of relief escaped his lungs when he saw those familiar maroon eyes.


"Hey Tangle..." Eli dusted himself off and looked down at his companion. "What happened?"


"I dunnno." The snake shrugged. "Musta been something like an earthquake."


Eli saw his other friends rise around him. Relieved that no one was hurt, he ran over to them.


"Ember! Shine! Blue! You guys okay?"


There was a collective groan and a yes from the three. Eli was so caught up in the excitement that he forgot he was lost.


"Aye, Eli?.." Tangle said in an uneasy tone. "Where are we, eh?"


Eli looked at the dark looming forest around him. He didn't know.


Eli's ears swiveled and perked as he heard voices that weren't from his group. Ember lifted his head.


"Hey...Who is that?" Ember said, pointing towards a single solitary figure twenty feet away.

Yato stiffens at the sound of the other voices, he turned around blinking against the slight sting of sunlight. However hearing how the other was worried about their Pokémon he quickly patted his pockets feeling to six ball shaped lumps.


"Hey who are you guys?"


He asked seeing the two other gijinka.

Eli looked around, seeing the figure who seemed...human. But not entirely. From years dodging Pokeballs and evading capture, Eli knew if he saw a human, not to trust it. He had grown a immense grudge on Humans ever since he hatched, and the grudge stayed. He let out a low growl, signaling he wasn't to be tampered with.

Yato stepped back his eyes narrowed, he wasn't in the mood for a battle especially when he just woke up. Not to mention his head was killing him "Tsk..." Yato felt his pocket heat up and a single red beam shot out making the form of a Pokémon, when it faded an Arcanine emerged growling and snarling in a protective stance over Yato.

Eli turned his back and messed with something on his collar, most likely his necklace.


"What do you want, human?" He said in a snarling voice "I wish not to fight, but get too close, I'll screw you over bigtime." Eli made a gesture with his claw and walked back to Tangle.


"Hey Tangle, remember how we got here?"


Tangle lifted a skeptical brow, and curled his leaf tail.


"Dunno lad, I reckon something stole our memories, like one of those weird dream-eating Pokémon..."


Eli folded his arms\wings and looked disappointed.


"You guys all don't know what went down?"


Blue stopped messing with the spike on her chest and looked up.


"I bet no one here Remembers, Eli."

Tsukiko walked over to the two, standing not to far away, "It would not be wise to start a fight straight after waking up." She looked around, there were still people to wake up. Fighting around them was not an option.


"I think our first priority is to find out where we are."

Eli nodded. "Agreed, er...Human?" He looked at Tsukiko and studied her features,


"I don't know WHAT you are, but howdy?" He held out a claw, waiting for a response.

Kuro's head was killing him.


Never an easy sleeper, he awoke feeling as if he'd been hit by a ton of bricks. He groaned quietly and forced himself into a sitting position, glancing around him with a raised eyebrow. Where the heck was he, and what was going on? He tentatively got to his feet, swaying slightly. Around him, various figures were stood around. Kuro could hear them- they seemed to be arguing about something.


"Hey," he tried, but his voice came out worn and croaky. He coughed and made another attempt. "Hey. Who are you and where am I?"

Rie's sense slowly came back to her as she opened her eyes and found herself in completely darkness. Letting out a muffled groan, she realized that she was face down lying on the ground. She got up slowly and expected her surroundings. She didn't recognize where she was nor remember what happened to her before she had gone to sleep. A sharp pain the side of her head and she reached up rub it. She looked at the hand that she had used and saw that her clothes were different from they were before. Jerking back surprised, she then tested it around and realized that is was in fact hers. She stood up and look around and heard voiced coming from not too far away.


She began walking and found someone. It seemed he didn't know where they were either.


"You don't know where you are either?" She said out loud.

Kuro whirled around to face the newcomer, narrowing his eyes a little, attempting to peer through the inky dark. He tugged his bandana further over his mouth. He didn't recognise whoever this was, so he remained guarded. "No... I woke up here and... Well, my memory's a little hazy. I can't recall much." He paused briefly. "Except my name. I'm Kuro. Kuro Jin. And I think I was human. 'Was' being the key word. Uh." He paused again, fiddling with the zip on his bandana instinctively. "Who are you?"

"Well I guess that makes two of us. I don't remember anything either." She said. "But the name's Rie. Rie Takeshi." She looked at the strange outfit she was wearing. This really is weird... She thought to herself. "Maybe we should try to figure out where we are then?"

Kuro nodded slowly, glancing down at himself, trying to note any physical changes too. He sighed. "This is strange... I suppose we really ought to. Do you think somebody brought us here? ...maybe there will be some clues around?"

Tsukiko hesitantly hook the noiverns claw, "I have no idea what it is called but I guess I'm a combination between a zoroark and a human." She glanced at the other two talking to each other, "I don't think any of us know what we are."

"I'm...I think normal. I-I don't remember being able to talk..." Eli looked down troubled. "I still have my friends, at least. They can speak too." Eli gestured at the group of other Pokémon behind him. "Maybe something happened and it didn't affect us that much."

Tsukiko nodded, "Maybe... Or the effects haven't gotten to you yet. We have no idea what to expect."

Eli turned and coughed into his wing, wheezing hard. Tangle steadied him with his palm and patted Eli's back.


"Aye lad. We all feel like shit too, heh."


Tangle slithered back to Shine, who seemed to be sick to her stomach.

Tsukiko tilted her head, "You ok there?" A slight feeling of worry came over her. She shook her head to get rid of of it and took out a pokeball, turning away from the noivern.


She released what was inside, a Charizard. A very nervous one.


"Chase, can you check out the area above."


Chase nodded and flew upwards.

"My throat and chest burn like nothing else..." Eli gripped his collar and stood.


"Must be because I have new voval cords or something."

Tsukiko turned back to the noivern, "Possibly." She supposed it would not be a bad idea to tell them her name, right? She would be stuck with them for a while, "I'm Tsukiko Yoru, by the way."

The word sounded weird on Eli's new tongue. He tried his best to pronounce it, but he slipped and stuttered halfway through.


"Uh, my name is Eli. This is Tangle, Ember, Shine, and Blue. All of my freinds."

Tsukiko chuckled at the noiverns attempts then nodded at the other pokemon, "It's nice to meet all of you. Call me Tsuki if it's easier, or even Tsu, I don't mind." Her hand twitched, almost going to her pokeballs, "I'd introduce you to the gang but that would only introduce more confusion."
