Futuristic Urban Ice Age Apocalypse RP

Halluxenogen

Master Escapist
Inspired by Fallout, The Division, and The Last of Us.

The year is 2195.

Built-up pollution and climate change has sent the northern hemisphere millions of years early into the next Ice Age. No one has felt warmth since the 70's.

You, a survivor, make up the little .6% of people that's left in your city. With the authorities leaving their citizens for dead, marauders, hostile cultists, and arctic animals overran the metropolis. It's up to you to team up with others to scavenge and escape this apocalyptic hell-hole.

  1. This will be a detailed RP.
  2. I'm looking for about five other players, give or take. I don't want it to get too crowded.

So....who's down? Ask questions if you want. If enough people are interested, I will discuss plot and other details.

I love the idea, I have been looking for a good post-apocalyptic storyline, but am not sure I am up for a "detailed" RP just yet. May need to improve my skills first. I will watch this, however, to see where it leads. Rated- "Great Idea!"

I'm totally into this, since I'm a big fan of anything apocalyptic and there's not that many "Ice Age" apocalypses out there, so this would be a new idea. I only have one question: how detailed is it going to be? I'm not sure if my writing skills are up to par or not, as I can be pretty inconsistent sometimes. I personally would consider myself to be something in the lower-end of detailed.

Hmm..

Well I can say that I would like at least two paragraphs at the minimum. This rp that I'm doing right now is a good representation of what I expect. The first posts are always the longest, so ignore that. When you really get into it, the posts get shorter and shorter. I would like if the posts looked novel-esque...?

I'm not asking for uber professional writing and you don't have to spend paragraphs upon paragraphs describing how the character holds their gun or look towards the sky. To be honest, all I request is that you write what your character is feeling/thinking and give me some material and dialogue to respond to.

If that's not your thing, though, no hard feelings! :^)
