F.A.Q.
1., How much of the story is canon?
Most of it! Except since this is 101 years before the existence of team RWBY, I am slightly~ amending the time between the Great War ending (which was just 10 years before RWBY) to make sense for the current plot I have in mind. I personally feel the industrialising of Remnant was a Bit Too Quick after the Great War to make sense for where RWBY currently is.

2., Will our characters have semblances?
Of course! In fact, it is required. You can absolutely have your character pull a Jaune and discover it during the process of attending the Academies, or out in the field, but a semblance must be had
3., What kind of faceclaims are we using?
I would preferably ask for a realistic and anime. I am not a massive fan of anime fc's I typically see for underage/freshly adult women in the rwby fandom, so I would prefer realistic but if it is super important to you to stay true to source material, you can use an anime fc additionally.

4., Why realistic and 18+?
Writing and reading is for escapism and realism. As RWBY itself is already an anime/cartoon, that is the escapism. I would like to add some realism to the story! The themes over the volumes have become darker and more serious, and while I know cartoons have that capacity, I think realistic themes for a mature audience would be interesting to delve into. 18+ as the characters will all be 18, and I am sorry but anyone under that age just doesn't get it. iykyk, you know?

5., The story seems very simple.
It is not the beginning is supposed to be very reminiscent of RWBY, the calm before the storm, the beginning before the end, the "let them be kids while they still have the chance." A lot of it will be Establishment. The true story begins after the tournament (and I swear, Act I will be faster than you think!) Maidens have a lot of involvement in the main story and that is all I will be saying.
