GABRIEL

He pulled the strap of his backpack in a tight fist as he held it closer to his back, a soft grunt emitting from his chest as he stepped off the bus that drove his sister, him, and their close friend Logan, to the base of the mountain. He wore jeans that were rather big, and a black sweater, His black hair gelled and spiked slightly. Carefully he stepped away from the bus, letting his heavy boots sink into the soft snow that covered the entire mountain, and Oregon in general due to the their usual freezing winter.

He looked back toward his sister, her tan skin rather pale now. He knew she was dreading coming back to the mountain, and he understood why. Kassidy had been unbelievable close to Veronica and her twin sister Jasmine, and when they went missing Kassidy refused to talk to anyone for months and months. He smiled at her lightly, and she forced a smile back, yet he knew she was upset, he could see it in her caramel colored eyes.

He sighed rather heavily, his breath flowing from his mouth in the form of condensation. Holding one strap of his back tightly in his fist, trying not to show his fear as he carefully took another step forward on the trail. "Better hurry, it won't stay bright for much longer." without waiting for Logan or Kassidy to reply, to continued forward. The pair trailed after their older friend, admiring the scenery silently.

LOGAN

He was hesitant to step off the bus, yet followed after Gabriel in mock confidence, showing the calm he didn't feel. Instead every ounce of him screamed for him to stay on the bus and to get back to Medford, back to the small town they are from, the small safe town. He heaves a sigh, stifling it slightly as he catches Kassidy's gaze, her eyes are sad, and her skin is not its usual glowing tan. He grits his teeth, feeling sadness clutch his stomach as well, and anger boiled inside him. He carefully walks after Gabriel, both of his hands holding onto his own backpack straps, allowing the bag to be held tightly against his back. His dark gray sweatshirt rubbed against his skin, and didn't quite shelter his body from the icy gust that blew lightly, carrying small flurries with it. Yet he work about three pairs of sweatpants, which was uncomfortable on the bus, yet worth it now. He exhales softly, watching his breath turn to white condensation and as it's carried high above them by the wind. That's when his gaze catches on figure perched high above them, hidden by darkness. "Hey Gabriel. Look" he looked toward his friend, yet when he looked back the figure was gone. He gasped softly, looking up at the other trees. Gabriel stepped up beside his friend, following his gaze, "What? you see some sort of ugly bird?" the larger teen chuckles, it was an insult not many would understand. Logan takes pictures of birds for his photography class, which Gabriel thinks is beyond lame. "Yeah.. yet it wasn't uglier than you." he retorts, before smirking. The pair chuckle, and shove for a moment, before carrying on up the path towards the cable car that will carry the trio towards the cabin.

KASSIDY

She follows after Gabriel, her older brother, and Logan, their goofy friend. She wears her dark pine colored snow jacket with a fox-fur hood, that her grand mother had bought her specially for this trip, her slightly torn blue jeans, and olive colored boots. Her beautiful, long brown hair is pulled back into a high, slicked back pony tail that is curled perfectly.

She stiffens as the icy wind flows over her body, yet she welcomes it after a few seconds. She can feel her cheeks become a light pink as the gust stings her warm face. She blinks a few times, as she hears Logan tell Gabriel to look up in the trees, yet she, and her brother see nothing. She watches the two spar slightly, and she smirks. She remembers back when this place wasn't riddled with fear, and everyone was excited to be up here for a good winter break.

Soon the trio reaches the cable car station. Gabriel and Logan walk rather quickly towards the rather run down station cabin, to which Kassidy follows slowly, not really wanting to leave the snow just yet.

They were the first here, apparently, as the door to the small station was locked. Gabriel grunts as he digs through his bags to get the key. Kassidy on the other hand happens to admire the dark mountains in the distance, the sun was already setting behind them, and the last few rays were stretching out across the sky as the sun was dragged down slowly.

Eventually they get the door open, to which the trio huddles inside and shuts the door tightly behind them, leaving it unlocked for their other friends. They then sit in the station, looking around for a bit while they wait for the cable car the reach them. It wasn't too far away, so it would only be a few minutes, Yet Kassidy was starting to get an eerie feeling and decided she will feel safer whenever the cable car arrives to take them to the trail that leads up toward the cabin.

LILY

The young blonde walks up the trail slowly, her backpack slung over one shoulder lightly, as she clutches her snow jacket tightly to her slender body. Her blonde hair ruffles as a gust of wind blows flurries in her face and she curse sunder her breath lightly as her face begins to sting from the cold. She walks rather quickly, leaving small prints in the snow behind her. She is walking carefully when she hears the bushes to her left rustle. She ignores it and continues on her way, when the bushes at her right rustle, this time louder. She swallows hard, walking faster now in fear of some sort of animal, or worse. She is speed walking when a massive blur of black shoots in front of her, a cry cuts from her throat as she stumbles back, and her foot slips on a rock that had iced over under her. She falls on her bum, her icy gaze wide in shock, yet her path is clear again, as if whatever had startled her, did it on purpose.

Susan

She sees the base of the mountain from the passenger side window of her father's car and butterflies fill her stomach. As the car comes to a halt at the base her anxiety only grows. It felt weird being back at this place after what happened last year she thinks solemnly, this place that once held many late night partying and laughs all around now just left an empty cold feeling in Susan. She leans over and kisses her father on the cheek. "Love you." She says opening the passenger side door. She opens the trunk and takes out a tiny pink suitcase filled with clothes and other miscallanious items which Susan found essential. She waves as her father's car pulls away down the road and she begins walking up the trail towards the lodge her white boots crunching in the soft snow. She flips her fishtail braid behind her shoulder and suddenly she gets the feeling that she is being watched. She looks around and a shiver makes it way up her spine. She sees a shadow move in the brush and she begins to walk faster. "Probably a stupid deer." She mutters as she makes her way up the trail. She sees the cable car station up ahead. She walks over and opens the door. Seeing Gabriel, Logan, and Kassidy. She sets down her suitcase and smiles. "How's everyone doing tonight?"

Creative, Considerate, and Rational

It was that time of year once again. The time of year where a group of friends enjoyed their winter break on the Black Mountain. Usually, there was enjoyment from just arriving at the location, but now it seemed a bit solemn-- at least in Noah's eyes. The year prior had probably taken a toll on mostly all of them. The deaths of Veronica and Jasmine still haunted Noah's mind. He never knew what to make out of the two sisters no longer being with them. In fact, he'd even considered on skipping out on the trip entirely a few times. But, alas, he had returned with the hope that this year's vacation pans out to be much better than the previous year.

"Are you positive that you want to come back on this vacation here, Noah? You don't have to come this year." Rowan, Noah's father, informed him of the actually opportunity for him to just forget about Black Mountain. But Noah did not want to stay at home with his family. His father would probably attempt to make Noah study over laws and ethics, which was something Noah definitely did not want to do.

"I'm-- I'm fine, Dad. Everyone knows that it's weird being here, I'm sure.." Noah responded as he stared out of the window of his father's vehicle, turning his attention to the snow-covered ground. His eyes searched around the environment, eventually spotting the base of the trail that he would have to travel. "Support from among each of us may be a good thing." The rational side of Noah came into play as he disagreed with his father.

Eventually, his father had given up on giving Noah the option to leave. Rowan figured that his son was being a headstrong, typical teenager in general. "Okay. If you think it will help to be here and find some consolation, then I will not stop you." Rowan stated as he reached his hand towards the driver's door and with a press of a button, the doors unlocked. And with that, Noah pulled on the handle on the passenger's door and opened the vehicles door.

The cold, wintertime air soon rushed into the car, Noah immediately covering his pale face with his gloved hands. Shortly afterwards, Noah stepped out of the vehicle and closed the passenger's door behind him. And after receiving his luggage pack from the backseat, Noah gave his father a farewell wave and turned towards the way of the path.

After a few moments, the onyx-colored luxury vehicle had begun to drive away down the the road. And for the while, Noah was entirely there by himself. But as he had his bag's strap slung diagonally over his shoulders, Noah begun to trek with his boots through the snow towards the path.

During the entire walk, Noah couldn't shake the eerie feeling. Perhaps it was just because it was extremely cold, and no one had been walking along with him during this point. He shifted his emerald eyes from side to side as he resumed walking towards his destination. And at this moment, Noah increased the pace of his walking speed.

After a few minutes had passed, Noah had made his way to the top of the path, being only a few yards from the station where they would wait for the lift to the cabin. A brief sigh of relief fell from Noah's breath as he headed towards the station's door and clasped his hand on the handle. Finally, he twisted the handle, and the door opened to reveal some familiar faces.

"
Gah. It's freezing out there-- Hey, guys." Noah greeted his peers who had already made it to the station and seemed to be waiting on the station lift. He immediately closed the door behind him and sat his luggage down on the floor near his feet. He looked around the room between Gabriel, Logan, and Susan, offering a simply smile to the three of them. But once his eyes spotted the brunette girl in the room, Noah's smile grew a bit wider, turning his head away to not seem so obvious.

GABRIEL

His gaze shifts up toward the door, from his seat on the warm radiator by the exit door. His gaze shifts over Susan, he welcomes her with a warm smile, then he looks to Noah. He nods slightly, before looking back down at his hands while he rubs a hand warmer in his pink palms to try and rid them of the cold. His mind wanders onto the night of when they were forced t leave so the investigators could search for Veronica and Jasmine.. Veronica and Gabriel had a tendency to argue more than often, due t them both being hard headed and never wanting to lose. Gabriel still remembers the look that took over Kassidy's face, and how he felt when they told the family they had found veronica, well.. her corpse that is. Rumors went around that it was so gruesome that one of the rescuers almost threw up because when they lifted her corpse, all her insides poured out onto the snow.

He clutches the hand warmer in a tight fist, and grits his teeth slightly. He rethinks a moment when he got suspended for nearly a month after he caught some kid calling Veronica a whore, so they got into a fight. Gabriel, being much older, and much larger than a kid, had beat him and thrown him into a locker, it took four teachers to hold him back from the kid, who was bleeding and sobbing on the floor. Gabriel had spit on him and called him garbage for making fun of those who were dead and couldn't defend themselves.

He sniffles silently, and he realizes his throat is stinging with tension. He swallows hard a few times to shove the sadness down deep in his chest.

LOGAN

He looks toward Susan and smiles warmly, "The same as always, freezing our asses off." he chuckles, as he scavenges through his bag for a granola bar. He finally finds one tucked under his shirts, as he has brought many, maybe too many of his favorite kind. Oatmeal and chocolate chip. He opens it and takes a bit of the chewy bar. He looks toward Noah and smiles a closed-mouth grin, as he had food in his mouth and found it may be disrespectful for them to see his granola-teeth. He swallows his bite, before smirking. "It's never cold up here, huh Noah?" Logan teases slightly, taking another bite before zipping up his bag and slinging it over his broad shoulders. He looks to Kassidy, noticing she had a granola bar also, and narrowed his gaze as he realized she had stole one of his, and he hadn't even noticed.

KASSIDY

The younger brunette gave Susan a weak-hearted wave when she entered, her dark eyes solemn. She looks back down at her phone, while she had no service this high up, she was still admiring her soft black and silver studded phone case, as she usually did when she was upset or didn't know what to say. When Noah entered, she felt her gaze snag his and her cheeks grew hot, her skin turning a lovely rosy pink. Carefully she walked beside Logan, before plucking a granola bar from his bag, and opening it. She looked toward him with mock irritation as he began to tease Noah. "It does feel colder this year." she retorts softly, her voice smooth and gentle. She takes a bite of the granola bar, and Logan looks to her as he realizes that she stole one of his, to which she smiles gently and he rolls his eyes slightly, before taking a seat on the bench beside him.

LILY

She shuffles up the path, her pants wet with snow. She pushes through the cabin door, nearly knock into Noah from behind. "Jesus, Watch out." she hisses softly under her breath. "Some of us are in a rush to escape the cold here, Noah. Not a good idea to stand in front of the door." she teases lightly, not noticing the harsh stare from Kassidy due to her obvious flirting. She rubs her gloved hands together gently and mutters under her breath as she struggles to regain feeling in her finger tips.

Susan takes a seat next to Gabriel and takes out her phone. She hopelessly tries to view the latest twitter feed and she eventually gives up as Noah enters through the lift door. "Why don't you sit by me and I'll warm you up." she says with a playful grin patting the empty bench space beside her. She then began scrolling through her photos picking out which ones she liked and disliked and she stopped when she saw a picture of her and Veronica from last year. She saw how happy she looked and she felt an overpowering sense of grief flow through her. Her and Veronica had been on the cheer squad together she remembers fondly walking into tryouts freshman year unsure of whether she was good enough and Veronica was the first girl whom she talked to. When they both found out they made the squad they could hardly contain their excitement and the rest was history. She puts her phone in her pocket and she looks to Gabriel. "It feels weird being back you know," she said looking around the tiny station,"I thought I would never come back here."

GABRIEL

He sighs heavily, placing his hands behind him as he leans back, feeling the warmth of the radiator flowing into his palms and up his fingers. He glances to Susan's phone, spotting the picture of her and veronica, and his dark gray eyes become sullen. He averts his gaze toward the Cable car, which was basically here now. he sighs softly, before looking towards Susan. "I don't think any of us expected to be back." Gabriel's mind drifts onto Vinny, who was first blamed for the murders due to the fact they happened at his cabin, yet the case was dropped shortly after due to the fact there was no evidence to support he was the killer. Plus the kid was one of Veronica's friends, and no one ever wanted to hurt her. Surprisingly, Gabriel was never the focus of the killer, despite the heated arguments Veronica and him used to get into while she was alive.

He gets to his feet, before stretching slightly. His muscles cold and slow due to the icy weather. "
Come on guys, the cable car is here." he says to the says to the small group entirely.

He opens the exit door, stepping onto the icy metal balcony just outside the station. He wraps his jacket around him tightly, as a gust of wind forces flurries onto the warm skin of his face. He opens the cable car door, it was roomy inside, made to fit many people at once, thankfully the group that had gathered wasn't too large. He hold the icy door open, allowing the others to enter before him.

LOGAN

He turns his gaze toward Susan after she gave an offer to warmth, "I'll take up that offer." he smirks as he puts the last of her granola bar in his mouth, and follows out behind Gabriel, stepping onto the surprisingly stable cable car, and taking a seat on the only slightly freezing bench. He takes off his bag and puts it between his feet on the ground, stuffing the wrapped of his snack into the side pocket gently, before taking out his phone to play a game that doesn't need wifi or service.

KASSIDY

She shoots Susan a harsh glare when she speaks to Noah, yet the slight hostility dissolves quickly. She hesitates to follow after Gabriel and Logan, she has always had an issue with the cable car. Her greatest fear was falling. He swallows hard, and looks down at her hands, before stuffing her phone into her jacket pocket. She steps out onto the metal balcony, her feet nearly slipping out from under her. She clutches the guide railing tightly, her breath coming out in frightened puffs of condensation as she looked down over the railing and she held her breath. A gust of wind blew a few strands of loose hair falling from her ponytail back, and she blushed brightly. She looks toward Logan and Gabriel who seemed almost oblivious to her panicking. She holds her breath for a moment, as she watches Lily climb into the cable car and it shakes softly. When the blonde turns to her and teases her, Kassidy's caramel colored eyes drop to the ground sullenly.

LILY

The young blonde walks past Kassidy, who seemed to be having her own little panic session. She steps one foot in, and looks to Kassidy, who was staring at her with wide eyes. "What's wrong, Kass?" the blonde taunts, "Kitty afraid of heights?" With a laugh she continues into the cable car to sit on the other bench across from Logan.

Kassidy was the youngest, and often the most teased due to her being the shortest, yet she is referred to as a kitty due to her feisty attitude, the attitude she hasn't shown since Veronica's death.

Susan

Susan smiles at Logan and scoots closer to him. "So what are you playing?" She asks curiously looking down at his phone. She has always thought Logan was cute, who knows maybe he could be her winter fling. Though looking at the other two boys she wonders if she could enjoy all threes company. She looks up at the setting sun almost completely set the last rays of twilight were casting and eerie shadow across the snow covered woods. She turns to Lily. "I love your outfit." She says admirinngly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tabitha and Ethan~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was quiet, to quiet for the two siblings to be normal. Or to quiet for Ethan anyway, who was always bursting with energy. But that once cheery smile, which was always spread across his face was completely gone, and while he slowly made his way up black mountain, his sister along side him. The tread up was in complete utter silence. But unlike everyone else, or at least Tabitha assumed everyone else. The two didn't get a full ride up the mountain, their parents being to scared to actually drive all the way up, fearing the car wouldn't handle the drive. They were booted out onto the curb of the road, and forced to walk the rest of the way up by themselves.
But really Tabitha didn't care about having to walk so far in the soon to be darkness, or the fact that they were going to be late. But instead, she was worried that the good time they came up here for was going to be canceled. Because whenever Tabitha and Ethan tried to do something together, to just spend some quality time. Maya always came tagging along like some lost puppy dog, trying to steal Ethan away. Making Tabitha glance over her shoulder every five seconds, fearing that Maya was just waiting to pop out from somewhere and ruin everything.
But no matter how many times she looked, Maya was nowhere to be seen. Giving Tabitha just a small glimpse of hope that they might have a peaceful time for once. But even if Maya wasn't there to ruin everything at the moment, how could the two have a peaceful time, how could anyone, knowing that someone they were once laughing with only a year ago, was killed on this very mountain, and they could have done something to help.
But even with the thousand of things racing through her mind, Tabitha didn't show any signs of worry, her face being concealed by the dark blue hoodie she never toke off. But unlike Tabitha, it was clearly visible that Ethan was uncomfortable, and troubled. But even Tabitha wasn't sure what to say to her little brother, who was usually always bouncing with energy and a smile. So instead the she just focused on getting up the mountain, while starring at the ground the entire way. Aside from the occasional shoulder glance, looking for Maya.
Ethan on the other hand though, couldn't plain focus on anything, not because of his short attention span. But because of the guilt that was eating away at him, he was so lost into thought and guilt about the death of Veronica, that he didn't even notice when his foot got caught on a rock hidden beneath the snow, and seconds later he was already face first with the freezing snow covered road.
But it didn't take very long for Tabitha to react, racing over to help her little brother, even though she was lost in her own thoughts as well. But seconds later Ethan was back up on his feet, and dusting snow off of his clothes, "Thanks" he simply muttered to Tabitha, who helped him up.
But soon a few moments after, the silence was quickly returning, since the two couldn't manage to find anything else to say. But only this time Ethan wasn't about to let the awkward silence return, as he scooped up a pile of snow. And patted it into a ball before launching it at his sister, which was a direct hit. Tabitha quickly brushed snow off the back of her head, before bolting after Ethan, who was now running up the mountain. "Oh you asked for it!" Tabitha yelled playfully, scooping up snow and making a snowball of her own.
Only to miss when Ethan dodged behind a tree, jumping out from his cover a few seconds later to stick his tongue out at his sister. Getting a mouthful of snow instead, before it was his turn to chase after Tabitha spitting out snow, while she laughed uncontrollably, snapping a picture with her phone. But the two were so caught up within their fight that they didn't notice the figure watching them, from higher ground. Or the fact that they strayed away from the road, and into the forest.
Creative, Considerate, and Rational
Whilst Logan poked fun at Noah for commenting about the coldness of the weather in the obvious winter season, Noah simply shook his head from side to side in as a bit of laughter escaped from his mouth. He'd learned to deal with their joking over time, and just accept whatever was handed to him. But when Kassidy spoke up and stated her observation, a small curvature of his lips grew upon his face. At least someone agreed with him about the weather. Though, to be frank, Noah just tried to make a conversation with absent awkwardness.
Suddenly, the door had swung open and nearly knocked into Noah. And when the person entered, Noah had recognized that it was Lily, who began to mildly scold Noah for standing near the door. His eyes just widened for a moment, but realizing she was just meddling him. "Sorry about that, Lily." Noah apologized, regardless of whether she was just joking or not.
And before Noah could even respond to Susan upon her offer for warmth, Logan had jumped at the opportunity. He allowed another minuscule laugh to slip from his mouth. Even though the last time on the mountain wasn't a pleasant one, it was nice to see that it hadn't change his friends for the worse.
Just as Noah was about to take a seat on a vacant spot, the cable car had arrived to the station. Picking up his luggage bag and once again placing the strap over his shoulder, Noah followed after his friends. He ended up behind Kassidy, awaiting for her to step onto the cable car. But her attempts were halted with Lily's teasing, and Noah didn't approve of the blonde's meddling at all. Instead, as he was behind Kassidy, he offered her words of encouragement, instead. "
You're fine, Kass. Lily's just trying to mess with you."
Gabriel turns his dark gray gaze onto Noah who was speaking to his obviously flustered younger sister. He feels his cheeks grown warm as he begins to notice the way Noah is looking at the younger girl, and he furrows his brow. He pushes the door open with his ankle slightly and he stuffs his hands in his pockets with slight frustartion. The last thing Gabriel wanted Kassidy to do was fall for a boy at this time, it's not what she needs. He glares toward Noah, before turning his gaze back to the others in the cable car.
Logan glances toward Susan, then back down at his phone. "I'm playing Plague, it's basically where you infect the entire world with some sort of virus or bacteria, then kill them off." the word 'kill' slips from his mouth, and he feels his ears become hot slightly when Gabriel glares toward him, then his gaze focuses on Noah and Kassidy. He quickly looks back down at his phone and continues to play.
Lily hugs her jacket closer and exhales a soft sigh that comes out as condensation. She looks toward Susan with a faint smile, "thank you." she says softly, rubbing her mitten hands together in an attempt to warm them.
Kassidy looks up toward Noah, her caramel eyes almost melting slightly at the sight of him. "I..I know.." her voice is smooth and sweet like honey. Her cheeks become rosy and she swallows hard. Swallowing her fear down like her mouth is full of nails and razors, she turns back to the cable car. Her gaze shifts toward Gabriel, who shoots her a warning glance, before looking away. She steps onto the cable car and quickly sits down on the bench Lily is sitting on, yet far away from her, leaving a spot between herself and Lily. She looks up at Noah with a soft,shy smile, before her attention onto her phone.
The tension in the room is almost tangible Susan thought after Logan mentioned killing in his game. "So Gabriel," Susan says trying to divert attention away from Logan's comment, "I heard you won your latest fight." Susan says with a grin. Susan nods at Lily. "Anytime." She says with a smile. She then looks over as Kassidy practically leaps onto an empty seat. "You okay?" Susan says with trying to stifle a laugh. She then opened a compartment in her little suitcase and took out lip gloss. Turning on her phones camera she then began applying it gently making sure that it looked proportional and giving a look of satisfaction put the lip gloss back into her suitcase and crossing her legs began to try for a signal.
Jasper blew out a breath of air in slight annoyance as he turned around and looked back down the path, folding his arms as he waited for his step-brother to catch up, "C'mon Gus...Don't be such a whiner. The snow isn't that bad." He sighed, rolling his eyes as his step brother came up next to his side, not waiting for the angry, or annoyed reply he was about to get.
August
caught up quickly, "I hate the snow. It's cold and it's wet." He grumbled, although really he wasn't annoyed with the snow right now. He didn't want to face the lodge again, and they both knew that was what was wrong. But August wasn't about to back about. Jasper wanted to go and if he wanted to go then that was alright with him. He could suck it up and handle himself. Besides, it would be good to see their friends again.
Jasper
stopped suddenly, and the older boy walked straight into his back, "What the hell Jazz? Can't we just--" Jasper cut out August with a quick sushing noise and a finger to his lips, "I think I hear something...." Both boys fell silent. The eeriness starting to take it's toll, and they were just about to move on when they heard it. Shouts. And then...a laugh? A happy laugh. Most definitely a girl's laugh.
August
and Jasper set down their suitcases on the side of the path, and, with August ahead of Jasper, they walked carefully into the woods. Looking around cautiously. Until a rush of relief spread through them as they spotted Tabitha and Ethan. "Tabitha! Ethan!" August called towards them, grinning widely now that he could relax, knowing what the noise had been.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tabitha and Ethan~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The two siblings were so busy taking part within their snow fight, that they didn't even notice when August called out to them. In fact it wasn't until Ethan tackled Tabitha into a snow mound, and the two were completely covered and soaked head to toe in snow, until they realized they weren't alone. Though Ethan was the first to notice the two boys watching them, before he quickly got up from the snow mound, frantically trying to dust the snow off of himself. Since he didn't want to look like a fool in front of his peers, but Tabitha couldn't help but let out a small chuckle watching her younger brother flail around helplessly, yet missing so many spots of snow he was trying so hard to shake off, "Ahem" Tabitha interrupted since she was almost buried now within the snow mound, before Ethan finally gave up his battle, since he was bound to get covered in more snow anyways. Turning around to help his sister up, before she looked like frosty the snowman. Once the two were both on their feet, they slowly made their way over to August and Jasper, while trying to wave to them, but instead stumbling a few times from roots and other objects buried beneath the snow. But Tabitha was the first to trip, or in this case, she tripped and fell right on top of August, before the two both came crashing into the snowy ground. But little did everyone know someone else was still watching them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Maya~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The perfectionist wasn't far to behind the two siblings, or in this case above them. For she was literately watching them the entire time, since she arrived quite awhile ago before everyone else did, though she knew if anyone saw her, she would have been called a freak or some sort of stalker. But really she didn't care, for Maya was planning to give Tabitha and Ethan a little scare. It was just going to be a small harmless prank after all, they couldn't hate her or hold anything against her for it, and they did come back to black mountain in the first place to enjoy themselves. And getting on peoples nerves was the one thing that Maya enjoyed the most. At this point though Maya was on the edge of dropping the plan entirely, and focusing on going back to making her way over to the lodge. Since watching Tabitha and Ethan play in the snow wasn't her kind of entertainment, or even sickening for her to watch. But when Maya noticed Jasper and August, she quickly had a change of plans.
"This could get interesting.." Maya muttered out loud to herself not really caring if anyone heard her, aside from her prey that she was about to scare the living daylight out of. But the exact moment Tabitha tripped and fell on top of August, Maya jumped to her, feet pulled out her phone, and snapped a picture, snickering about to send it to everyone else before a bitter sweet idea came into her mind. She could use the picture as blackmail with a simple editing out of Jasper and Ethan, meaning she could get either August or Tabitha to do her bidding, since it looked like the two were smooching it up. Before Maya slowly tucked her phone into her pocket, a wide smile growing on her face, since it meant one thing. Revenge on Tabitha.
August watched the two come towards them, grinning at their snow-covered selves. Then next thing he realized he was on the ground in the freezing snow, and was about to start yelling, when he noticed Tabitha was above him. Immediately not caring about the snow in the least, he grinned charmingly and settled his hands on her hips, "Hey sweetheart. You come here often?" He spoke, with a wink at the end of his sentence.
Jasper groaned at his brother, rubbing his hand over his face, "Really August?" He asked, rolling his eyes down at his older brother who merely shrugged, saying simply, "What? Can you blame me, Tab is cute." Jasper glared and looked at Ethan with his arms folded, "Sorry about my brother. He's an idiot."
