20:15|| The Living Room || w/ The Entire Gang plus a Stranger||"Survive" by SickPuppies

The lighthearted punch earned an irritated sneer form Dav, who immediately corrected himself with a light smirk. "You know, Jackie boy, I would rather be drunk than have to sit here and remind myself that we are resposible for whatever horror that happened last time we we're all; here." he said in a clipped tone, forcibly moving himself away from the guy. Davin was never particularly fond of the guy, but for some reason he was utterly repulsive now.

The sound of wind picked up loud enough to be heard from the inside of the Lodge. A storm wasn't forecast, but that seemed to be what they were getting. The lights flickered slightly, adding to the eeriness of the moment. A clap of thunder didn't help the situation at all.

"I mean, isn't that the huge, bloody elephant in the room? Everyone in present company, aside from Freddie, myself and whoever you are, were absolute jerks to a girl who wanted nothing more than to be our friend. I choose truth!" He turned his crazed gaze on the one with glasses. "Wasn't it you, who brought them here in the first place? What did you have in mind for poor Marie?" Stepping away from the group, he pointed toward the man. "We need someone to blame, right? Who made him bring them? And answer quickly." he said pointedly, looking at the red-hooded stranger from the corner of his eye.

"Someone dangerous might join the game." ...dangerous, indeed...

The guilt had been steadily glaring at them from afar, making them all anxious and agitated after the unexpected demise of Shauna and Marie. It had been a hideous night, filled with foolish actions and enough alcohol to make anyone cringe. To say that many of them regretted it would be an understatement and Davin was only telling the truth they had tried so hard to avoid.

Charlie placed a hand underneath her chin, observing the man in the red hoodie before scoffing in disbelief. "He is quite right, many of us are to fault for that night and pretending that it never occurred would be a foolish notion..it was imbecilic to pretend that we never once did them wrong. So much guilt and we're all covering it with alcohol and a slumber party..we deserve whatever should happen, we deserve what Shauna and Marie got."

Adam

For some damn reason davin decided to pick on the stranger right when he just asked for a goddamn name. He was also ticked off at the fact that davin blamed everyone of being a jerk to Marie.... Marie was a 18 year old girl who he never really got to know well, all he knew about her was that her dad was also in the military. They both talked for a couple hours and then she mentioned about never going to a shooting range, which was very odd. On that same night he snuck out and decided to construct one of his little shooting range. But by the time he came back to tell everyone.... She disappeared.

Adam got up from his seat and gave davin one hell of a glare. "Ok davin I think you guys have had enough." He took the whisky and settled on a glass table next him. "Ok look guys I know some of us you had pushed Marie alittle too far, which by the way guys I still don't know what you guys did on that night. We came here because we didn't want to separate, we came here because we had come back to remember the good time we had with marie.. For some of us at least." He felt that he was maybe feeling alittle to harsh but he just couldn't help it, he didn't just want his friends to just feel depressed and shit. So he decided to do the thing they never got to do last year. He takes a deep breath and walks around since he didn't like standing around to long, "So last year guys if you hadn't noticed I left the cabin to make something for Marie, she told me that she had always wanted to go and shoot at a shooting range.... So I had the thought of making one." He walks over to his case holding the rifle and unlocks it. He shows the gun and asked, "so does anyone wanna join or you just going to look depressed with a stranger you just met?"

Ros & Freddie Berti

Ros's eyes fell to the floor upon hearing Davin speak. That guilt that she had tried to suppress was now forthright. Then, Charlie said they all deserved whatever happened to them and her heart pounded in her ears. It had been all her fault. She had constructed the idea and convinced everyone to play it out, but she had never expected it to go the way it did. That was no excuse. She had been cruel that night. And now, she was sure she was going to pay.

She turned her now harsh gaze to Adam. "I don't think anyone wants to go to the shooting range right now, Adam," She told him, irritation clear in her tone. She pushed a hand through her hair before she shook her head. She hadn't been the one who invited them there, she had just devised the prank. She wasn't sure who had brought the two of them and had never bothered asking. It hadn't really mattered to her whether they were there or not. The only thing she really knew about Marie was that she had, had a crush on Adam and Ros had used that to her advantage.

Freddie frowned deeply as he watched Davin. There was definitely something wrong. It must have been the fall. Or, maybe the alcohol, but Freddie doubted that. He had seen Davin drink and he wasn't like this. All accusing and egregious as he flaunted himself about the room, in an emotional and mental way. His eyes moved to the stranger in the red hoodie, eyes narrowing quite a bit as he just watched quietly. He was surprised at the anger in his sister's tone and briefly turned his eyes to her. She was the one that seemed to take everything hardest. Any word about Marie or Shauna and she was upset, or on defense. Whichever went well with her mood.

His eyes moved around the room until they were back on Davin and he tried to assess how he should handle the situation. He exhaled deeply and tilted his head to the side slightly, that same frown now back on his face. What had happened when he fell? Had he done something to his brain that changed parts of his personality? What had happened to make him so eloquently accusing? Frederik was unable to answer any of these questions. He tried to wrack his brain around but nothing plausible surfaced itself. They would just have to wait and see, he guessed.

Red Hood

The man in the red hoodie watched silently, studying the people inside the cabin with him. At one point the girl who'd been tending to poor Mr Unconscious handed him a first aid kit. And then, without warning, Mr Unconscious just got up, as if he'd simply been sitting down on the floor, having a casual conversation with the bunch of depressed people that were milling about in here. He'd been right when he'd said that it wasn't exactly Happiness Central. It was like there was a storm cloud glued to the ceiling, constantly raining on everyone. The boy who had not moments ago been out cold on the floor ended up with a bottle of liquor, asking the room if anyone wanted to play truth or dare. He was strange, sort of eccentric but with a slightly more cynical edge. And as the game went on, he could tell that something wasn't right. Red Hood sat there, ignoring the people who tried to make conversation with him. They were boring. This boy, now he was interesting. And then he started talking about the year before.

Red Hood knew what had happened, of course, but seeing the guilt hanging over them as their faces gave them away gave him a new idea, a new subset of his plan. He could use this to his advantage. From what he'd seen, he'd pieced together the basic relationships between them all. The unconscious one, Davin, and the girl who'd been helping him, Ros, were friends, and her brother, Frederick, was the one who'd let him in. The others were all friends, but it seemed that the military one, and possibly the one who was talking about being attacked by a bear, weren't as close to the group as they thought they were.

Then the military one got a gun out. A rifle, nothing too serious, but it was a gun nonetheless, and it presented a threat to him. He'd have to deal with it, and that meant he had to reveal his true nature to the group. It was time to put his plan into action.

"I don't think anyone wants to go to the shooting range right now, Adam," Ros said to him, almost bitterly.

That was it.

He got up, the wound in his neck nothing but a dull ache now, and walked over to Adam slowly. He was facing the group, so Red Hood had the element of surprise. It had to be quick. He pulled out his gun and wrapped his other arm around Adam's neck, kicking his feet out from under him. He stayed that way until he was out, which only took a couple of seconds. And then he pointed his gun at Adam's head and laughed, a deep, echoing laugh that pierced the silence and made him sound insane - which he probably was.

"How stupid you all are." He remarked. "A random stranger, all the way up here, in a place with only one entrance and where nobody has any motivation to be, and you just let me in?" Another laugh. "Let's have some fun. Ros, it appears you have some quite deep connections to everyone here. I'm gonna ask you to listen to me very carefully, because what happens in the next few minutes will determine which of you live, and which do not. Now, I'll tell you what to do, and when I am finished, you will do it. If anyone apart from Ros moves, or if anyone tries to be brave, Adam here gets a bullet in his head. So, Ros. Like I said, deep connections here. So let's see just how deep they go. I want you to go and get a knife from the kitchen, a nice big, sharp one. Then, you will have a choice. Either you kill your brother, or you kill Davin. You have thirty seconds, or I'll shoot your dear old pal over here. Off you trot."

"What the fuck.." Jake muttered to himself, listening to the strangers words. "Kill your brother, or kill Davin." "Rose, you cant kill anybody!" He yelled at her. "This guy is just lying..hes just bluffing. Don't do it..." Jake tried to distract the stranger to look at him, and tried to signal Rose to go grab the phone. "Don't kill anyone Rose...just..get...the phone.."

Jackson

That was just about god damn enough. It was almost like half of them just broke out into stupidity... It's just- Just what he said that... Marie...

His chest knotted up as he just stared daggers at Davin. The god damn nerve! Adam started saying something but he didn't listen. When Rosalin snapped at him to be quiet, Jack made eye contact with Davin and opened his mouth to speak, his tremors becoming more prominent. He would kill him for making Charlie despair and ruin a time for healing their wounds and mistakes.

"I-" He didn't even start his sentence before it started. The red-hoodie (did he say ever say his name?) had walked over, seemingly joining the circle, but instead got Adam locked down with a gun on his head so fast he could only register what happened when he started shouting.

Wh-What the HELL..?

"How stupid you all are-" The man said with a snarl, laughing as he said it.

Jackson looked around the circle, locking eyes with those who weren't in complete shock from what just happened.
SO stupid! FUCK! FUCK FUCK! He was straight up shaking now. He was the closest to the two and he didn't know what compelled him, or how he even managed to do it, but he took a step closer.

"-If anyone apart from Ros moves, or if anyone tries to be brave, Adam here gets a bullet in his head." The psycho looked straight at him, and seemingly right through him, he looked as crazy as he sounded and Jack knew that at the moment, as painful as it was, doing nothing would be the right thing to do. "Oh Ros, no...." He mouthed.

"Rose!-" Oh no

As adam was talking to everyone he felt a cold metal touch the bottom of his chin while being held by his shoulder....Shit.. He looked around as everyone started to panick seeing the stranger holding adam hostage. Then before he realized, he blacked out with the sound of his dog barking behind him...

Ros & Freddie Berti

Ros stood, completely frozen in place as his words met her ears. It seemed as if time had slowed in that moment. Her eyes shifted to the unconscious man on the floor and then to the gun that was pointed at his head. Doing nothing should have been the choice, but she couldn't let him die while he was unable to put up a fight. Then it came down to Davin or her brother. The choice was obvious, it seemed, as she looked at the two of them. Her teeth drew blood from her cheeks as she bit down on them. She wanted to beg with the psychotic man, plead for him to just let them go but that wouldn't get them anywhere, and she knew it.

Time was ticking by. She took notice of Jake trying to distract the guy, so she could go for the phone, but she wasn't looking to die tonight. As cruel as it sounded, she was in survival mode and would do anything to get herself and her brother out alive. And that's when she took her first steps towards the kitchen. Her hands were visibly shaking and her chest had begun with that aching pain she got whenever stressed or under pressure. This would forever change her, her life and the way everyone viewed her. Her dominate hand wrapped around the black end of a long, carving knife and she pulled it from the knife holder. Her eyes fell on the gleam of the blade as it met the light before she made her way back into the living room.

She avoided eye contact with them all, including Freddie who sat with a horrified expression on his face, as she approached Davin. Her eyes couldn't meet his as she stood in front of him, knife clutched in her shaking hand.

"I'm sorry," She murmured.

Freddie would have moved when he watched the end of the blade sink into Davin's abdomen. Hell, he would have moved before that, but then two people would have been killed. He couldn't drag his eyes from the sight of the knife, embedded in Davin like an extra limb. He watched as his sister withdrew, with shaking, bloody hands. He watched then as she turned away and as she took a step forward, she fainted and slammed her head into the ground upon reaching it. Frederik so desperately wished any of them could move. Davin might be savable and his sister certainly was, but none of them were able to move. "You're fucking sick," Freddie murmured lowly, with a fresh glint of anger working at his eyes.

A fresh wave of guilt rolled over him. He had let this stranger in and put everyone in danger. That was directly against his job description as the caretaker of all of them. They were adults, but they still needed to be looked out for, and he had failed them at that. His heart was pounding in his ears as he stood, frozen in his place.

Red Hood

Red Hood clapped slowly, beaming at Ros. "Well done. That was very entertaining to watch. It appears you'd do anything to save your brother. And now Adam here gets to live."

He paused for a second.

"Or, at least, he would, if I were generous. Which I'm not."

And then, in one swift movement, he pointed the gun at his head, and pulled the trigger. The bang echoed around the room, leaving a ringing in his ears, but he was having way too much fun to care.

"Now then...let's have some fun! Who wants to go next?"

Eleanor decided to just lean on the wall near the door instead of sitting by someone. She definitely felt uneasy at the moment. Her gut told her to get out of here, but her mind told her body to stay put and just wait it out like a good girl. She knew that she was probably being paranoid. Being worried for absolute no reason. But her gut never rested still telling her to go. Leave the lodge and never come back. But, her mind. Oh her sweet little mind told her to stay put. Wait it out. Surely nothing would happen to her or her friends. But, she was oh so wrong. So wrong indeed. Listening to her gut would've been the best option to do before, but she was to stubborn. And, thought if everyone else came and stayed then I can to. She knew she should've left. She should've told everyone let's get out of here. Not to let the stranger in. But, she didn't. She stayed silent. She stayed put. Look where it's got her already. " Damn. " Were the only words that she could say, the only words her mouth would allow her to say. Every other word just got stuck in her mouth. To never be uttered. To just sit there on the top of her tongue.

Staring at scene in front of her, Eleanor already felt uneasy. Her stomach twisted in turned in ways that made her want to throw up. But she wouldn't. She couldn't. She'd have to deal with it. " Be a big girl, like you said you could be. " Those words had echoed in her mind, they were little to no comfort to her to say the least. Nothing could ease the guilt she felt at the moment. Taking yet another deep breath, the female tried to breath. It felt like this room was suffocating her. She wanted to leave. To get out yet again. But, she couldn't. She wouldn't. So, now she would just stand and wait with guilt covering her from head to toe.

20:47|| not him || not him||not him

Davin hunched a bit as the knife went into his gut. He could feel the blade hit his spine. His face drained of color as he pressed his hand to the blood-smeared hilt of the blade.

Red Hood was quick to give Adam something lead to think about. The blood spatter hit Davin's face and he could hear the body slump to the ground. he dropped to his knees, unthinkable noises coming from his chest. But they weren't cries of sorrow laced fear. He threw his head back in laughter, drawing the knife out of his center and licking it. "Wow, did you guys see his head. It went 'spoosh'." chuckled, making explosion gestures with his hands.

And, with no warning, the knife was wedged deep within the wood next to the murderer's head. "You can do so much better than that." he laughed sadistically, giving the man a seductive wink. Standing up, Davin's eyes slowly shifted from grey to a deep, pulsating yellow. His ashen skin was accentuated with little, blackened vein lines. Raising his hand up, the lights flickered with a whisper that was not only his voice.

"Run." he said, cocking his head in a way that was completely inhuman. RUN!

"What the hell?!" Jake looked at the..thought to be deceased Davin, in shock. Following his instructions, he ran out of the living room, into one of the bedrooms. He wasnt going in the wilderness again. "Shit. Shit Shit...Is that guy some sort of ghost or something?!" Jake grabbed a vase, and waited at the door to hit whoever came inside with it. "Okay..so someones..dead..and someones..a ghost?.." Suddenly, the door opened by itself and hit Jake in the face. He dropped the vase on his head, knocking himself out.

Red Hood

Well, wasn't this fun? A dead body on the floor, another one dying across the room, and now-

Now the body was laughing and licking the knife. Licking it. The knife with his blood on it. What the actual fuck was happening? Red Hood didn't know, but it sure as hell didn't look good. There was something very wrong with that boy, and he had a feeling he was about to find out what it was.

"Wow, did you guys see his head. It went 'spoosh'."

This wasn't just creepy anymore. This was fucked up. With no idea what was going on, he was beginning to see that this might not be so easy anymore. And as he stood there, dazed and confused, Davin launched the knife in his direction and it embedded itself in the wall behind him.

"You can do so much better than that."

Red Hood began to back away now, slightly disturbed by the sudden change of events. Things appeared to be turned against him now, although he assumed that this boy, whoever he was, wasn't exactly going to be friendly with the other either. Davin's eyes changed colour and as he raised his hand, the lights began to flicker.

"Run."

He turned to the stairs and did just that.

Jackson

He had no idea what just happened. Did he see what happened? Yes. Could he even begin to figure out what he saw though? The murder seemed, forgive him for saying this, to at least make sense! Davin was standing there with pale yellow eyes, just looking over the scene. "Run."

The Red Hood was the first one to go, dropping the body of a former friend and made for the stairs. AT LEAST SHOOT HIM! Jackson screamed at him in his head. He had to fucking move now. His first reaction was to grab his bag, which had a multi-tool, but he noticed the rifle by Adam's body. And the blood, how much was there? He didn't know the answer noticing how much there was on him. FOCUS JACK.

He turned and was ready to sprint for it but saw Ros crumpled on the floor. Freddie wasn't moving, just standing there, likely in fear so he made his decision- And he grabbed Ros. "THE GUN!" He barked at Charlie and Freddie and grabbed Rosalin underneath her arms and headed towards the theater, which had a path to the basement. He couldn't go up the stairs with her, but he could go down them. "Let's GO!"

Dragging her as fast as he could possibly go, he looked back one more time at the scene and rounded the corner. The situation finally hitting him, tears started to form behind his glasses as he started stammering curses, unable to stop. "F-fuck."

"You guys aren't running." He said, sounding a little hurt. Jack managed to get the picture and dragged Ros away from him. The killer ran up the stairs, not knowing that he'd forfeit his life by taking one of His victims. Even the new kid ran, whom he was gonna kill from the fact that he was such A FUCKING IDI--

"I'll get to them later." He reminded himself, planning on taking however long it would take on their poor, sweet litle bodies. They were all just bodies to Him. "I guess you need incentive." Snapping his fingers, the two sisters appeared from behind him. Slumping and hardly managing to keep upright, they were the very pictures of death--milky white eyes, hallowed cheeks and gray skin. "Girls..." He said in a purr, making them both stiffen up. Their blank gaze was edged by the look of complete and utter fury. "Now, unless you really do want to end up like these two chicka-dees, I suggest you scatter. Or don't. It won't matter anyway." Maria immediately launched into the dark places of the support beams, where as her sister strode over to the knife and began making her efforts to dislodge the blade.

"Except you Fredrick! Move, and I will skin your sister alive and make you eat her flesh!" He screamed, his voice doubling again. As He making his way to the large man, he brushed his fingers up and down the large panes of Freddie's back. "How ironic that neither of us can really have you the way that we want." He hissed, grimacing at the touch. release the hounds

Frederik & Rosalin Berti

Ros could faintly hear a gunshot and then shouting and a lot of commotion. She was conscious enough to feel arms loop under hers and then her body was dragged. Her head hurt, she was able to recognize that much, and bright flashes and then darkness kept meeting her closed gaze. Her chest still ached and she came to upon hearing her brother's name being screamed. She jolted forward and shook from Jackson's grasp. "What the fuck is going on," She asked, panting and quivering from the fright of the entire situation. She turned her gaze upward at the flickering lights before back at Jackson.

She took note of the tears behind the lens of his glasses. "We have to get out of here. We have to get Freddie," She told him and turned to go back the way he had dragged her. She had already lost her best friend, by her own hands, and she couldn't lose her brother too. They were all in this mess because of her. If she had never brought up that prank, they would be sitting around with Shauna and Marie, while drinking and fucking around with one another. She felt hands latch around the dip of her waist and pull her back. She struggled and let out a exasperated exhale, tears falling from her eyes.

Frederik stood frozen in place. He had just been about to make a hasty escape. Or as hasty as he could make it with his current ailment. The muscles of his back tensed when Davin's, or not Davin's, fingers came in contact and brushed the shirt covered flesh. He listened to his words carefully and his jaw tightened. What did he mean by that? He swallowed all of the fear he was feeling at the moment and decided to speak up. "What do you mean," He asked in a tight, emotionless voice. He found a point on the wall opposite of him to focus on. He could do nothing else. He wasn't going to risk his sister's life to move away from whoever this man was.

It certainly wasn't Davin, he gathered that much. Davin should have been dead by now, with the knife buried in his abdomen. His eyes flicked to Shauna's ghost/spirit as she worked at the knife and finally managed to free it from it's confinement in the wall. He'd never forget the look that was directed at him before she disappeared all together, more than likely going after the others.

The head that once hung low, filled with guilt as it stared at the floor was now looking somewhere else. Her eyes were directed at Davin. Could she even say that, that was even Davin. To be honest it seemed like a completely different person. Almost as if somewhere possessed his pale lifeless body. Eleanor wanted to say something but her mouth would only open and close with nothing coming out of it. By now, everyone had already left. They ran like he said they should've. But, Eleanor stayed put. She wanted to run, but her eyes stayed locked onto the scene that was in front of her. She oh so desperately help Fredrick but it looked like he would have to deal with this problem on his own. Eyes taking one last bit of the scene in front of her. Eleanor took a deep breath before she fled The Lodge and went outside in the cold.

The girl didn't know where she was going to say the least. Hell, she wished she had a map with her. But, sadly this wasn't the case. " Never would've expected to be in some type of Horror Movie scene. Hopefully, I don't trip. " The girl thought before she shook her head to shake off the thoughts. " This is no time for jokes Eleanor. " To say the least, Eleanor wanted to try and lighten her own mood with that horrible joke but it seemed like the other half of her wanted nothing to do with those jokes to say the least. Soon enough, Eleanor had the choice to go either left or right. " Very Horror Movie-esque. How great. " She muttered before face palming. " Enough with the jokes. " She thought answering herself. Looking at both paths, Eleanor decided to take the right path. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.

"What do you mean,"

Freddie asked, earning a flaccid snicker from the thing crawling in Davin's skin. "Dude, really? Come on. I'll give you a hint...the day you came out was the happiest day of his life because he didn't have to go around pretending anymore. And to think, he may have had a shot if your sister wasn't just the type of gal to give me a run for my money." He sighed, tearing away the last bits of the torn undershirt.

"You're probably wondering why my insides are still inside." He chuckled, wiping away all the dried blood. "Right now, if he dies then I die. Simple as that. But," He held a bloodied finger up to the man's lips. "If I claim the souls I need, he'll make it out ok. You do want him to live, don't you?"

The question seemed to linger in the air. They were alone now, and Fredrick would suffer just as much as the rest of them would--He'd make sure of it.

--

Slinking along the ceiling, the sister known as Marie descended upon the one who so foolishly knocked himself out. She cackled lightly as she used her teeth to tear open her paper-thin skin. Dark, sludge like blood oozed from the wound and she placed the wrist to the boy's throat. "Drink up." she said, reveling in the fact that his mind was about to go as dark as her soul now was. my pretty...

As she finished with her little struggle in the theater, he cleared his throat in an attempt to comfort her. "Something weird is happening, we all.... People are dying ok? We need to get away." They didn't make eye contact, and she still seemed reluctant. He could barely keep himself from panicking and he needed to keep at least her safe, so he tried his best to explain what happened. "Davin isn't dead, Ros." He started, not knowing where to go from there. "He's still fu- he's still alive and he's crazy. The psycho with the gun is there too! He- he killed Adam and he's still out there! We need to get somewhere safe." He changed his grip to something less personal, grabbing one of her hands. "We just need to get safe right now, the others will be fine." They needed to get off this floor.

With that, he started back towards the cellar door. His heart was pounding so hard that he thought it could've burst, but Ros was now being at least compliant, which was a plus. He beckoned her to pick up her pace as he swung the door open, revealing the concrete steps. They shared a glance as he closed the door behind him, cursing that the lock was on the other side. They needed to get a way to get help and a place where he can process everything that just happened.

"Everything is not going to be fine..."

Freddie's jaw tightened. Oh.

Oh.

The new revelation had blind sided him completely. He had never... Frederik glared back at the being that had taken over Davin's body. He had just opened his mouth to speak when a bloodied finger was pressed against his lips and that effectively shut him up for the moment. Once the finger was removed, he began to speak. "Of course I want him to live," He said without a second thought, his voice low with hatred. "Who's souls need to be claimed," He asked next, his eyes slightly wide as he waited for an answer.

This was obviously something to do with Marie and Shauna. He had called for them and they had appeared, ready to do his bidding. His lips pursed. "And what does me sister have to do with any of this," He questioned, tone defensive. If there was anyone he'd lay his life down for, it was her. Completely and willingly. He was still a bit shocked over the whole Davin...

Ros swallowed as she followed after him, her hand remaining firmly in his. It grounded her a bit more and kept her from turning back. "We can't just leave them all," She insisted quietly. "This is my fault. They don't deserve to die because of something stupid I came up with that hurt people," She told him. She knew the winding ways of the basement and knew where to go to get outside, but she wasn't dressed to be outside and would likely have more damaged caused out there than if she stayed inside. She thought for a moment, teeth worrying at her lower lip. "C'mon," She said.

She tugged him along with her as she made her way to a shelf full of cans and other food items. She pushed it out of the way and shifted the rug that it had been rested on. Beneath it was a wooden door with a black metal handle. She didn't have time to explain that her father had decided it would be good to be over-prepared for any situation that might present itself. Unfortunately, nothing he had done would help them now. She pulled open the trap door, flinching when it groaned loudly. She dropped down into it, finding herself in a stone hallway. She looked up at Jackson, waiting for him to drop down.

Everything rapidly spun out of control and soon Charlie had been contemplating her escape when Davin had risen up from his assumed demise and transmorphed into something truly horrid. This was why Charlie didn't keep companions, this was why she was truly alone.

Instantly she took off, her feet taking her towards the upstairs area before she practically glided up the steps. She kept on the balls of her feet so as not to produce any unwanted creaking, she scouted out the area before slinking into a room and closing the door. Grasping the doorknob, Charlie turned the lock before focusing on the large dresser which was settled in the corner and walking towards it.

It was exceedingly heavy and took all of her willpower to push but soon she had it directly in front of the door which barricaded someone temporarily. Charlie had seen monsters reside within this house and it was often the human ones which scared her, she glanced around before staring directly at the window. It was tiny but she could manage to squeeze through, she wouldn't be able to stay here for long seeing as that wasn't an option. Charlie crossed the distance before pulling upwards on the rusted pane and grunting as it reluctantly slid open.

She supported herself on the wall before reaching through and out into the crisp night air, Charlie managed to crawl out and instantly grabbed ahold of the ledge so she wouldn't fall off of the roof completely. She calculated the fall before allowing herself to make her way downwards and dropping to the ground below, the fall was tulmultous and she felt pain seep into her left leg.

Testing it out was even more unpleasant but adrenaline was rushing through the girl and she managed to limp into the forest, sparing a glance backward before taking a running start. It was problematic and she fell often, cursing quietly before continuing on.

She would not die weak.

Shauna's footsteps could be hear dragging, squeaking from Adam's blood. They'd suffer like she has. It was their fault, theirs! Nothing would quell the torment her soul was in. NOTHING! But a little blood and gore might help ease the pain...

"Now, if I told you that, whats keeping you from running away?" He replied, breaking his fingers and setting them back in place. "Tell me..." he said, twisting his index finger with a fresh 'snap', "Does it bother you at all that I'm crawling around in his meat? Would it sicken you to know I'll be using one of the people who loves you most in the world to kill the other? And all the sick things I'll do to her...you'll know it's me because he wouldn't even climb that tree."

His yellow eyes darted up and down Fredrik's body. "You know, he's crying right now." He sighed, tears involuntarily rolling down his cheek. "Because he knows why I'm doing all this. And he knows you'd never forgive him. Eat that food for thought."

Marie darted through the snow, knowing what to do. It would be easy--after all, she was the first to give into her Master. In a way, she was happy. They'd all be together in the end. ...can love remember how to get me home to you...

He sure was glad he chose to go to the basement, as he took a step on one of the rings, he could immediately feel the temperature drop. It was pitch black down there, but a couple of flashlights were visible where the light from above hit. Leaning down and nabbing one, he turned it on and put it between his teeth, reaching up and closing the ancient latch above them.
If only he could let the others know where they were. He knew the carpet probably looked strange above the latch, but he hoped no one would bother to investigate it.

Dropping the light back to his hands, he turned it to Ros, who had not surprisingly taken one up too. "You still holding up?" He noticed a glint from his flashlight and directed it towards one of the walls, holding several upright metal lockers in a row. "What kind of place is this?" He picked up the first item that he found on a shelf, it had a microphone looking tool that was connected by wire to a small box that held a meter of some sort. It was one of those radiation measurers.

"Why do you all have a Geiger counter?" He was moving down the wall before she could answer, going through cans, piping, a locked gun safe, tools and books. There was a surprisingly new looking coal-stove sitting against the back wall, with a shoot that had said-coal fall on the ground when he lifted the flap. "So, tell me, two things. What is a fallout shelter doing out on a mountain all the way out here, and how do we turn on the aux generator?"

Frederik's eyes narrowed and a whole new fire of fury pitted itself in his chest. The snapping of Davin's fingers made his stomach upset. "Don't you lay a fucking finger on her," He snapped, with a jaw and tone set and determined. "And let him go. Neither of them deserve any of this. None of them deserve any of this," He said. He didn't know what exactly had brought on this onslaught of supernatural beings, or what exactly this

thing

inside Davin was, but he wasn't about to back down due to the unknown. His stomach had lurched at his words and he watched as tears rolled from unfamiliar yellow eyes, where grey ones used to make their home.

"What the

fuck

happened that night," He asked after a moment of later, inhaling deeply as he worked to get a handle on himself. The last thing he needed was to break down in front of this

thing

. Even if it was all a facade and he had no resolve left, he'd keep it up. This

thing

was severely fucking with everything he knew, and he didn't like that at all. "And what the fuck are

you

," He asked next, his tone bitter and unpleasant as he stood there. His knee was throbbing with the prolonged vertical position.

"Dad is a bit of a freak when it comes to being prepared," She said simply, not really wanting to delve into more information on it. The situation was too dire. After Jackson had grabbed a flashlight, she grabbed her own and turned it on, pointing it down the tunnel/hall. "I have no idea. Last time Freddie and I were down here he was 17 and I was 15. Dad didn't like us going down here. 'It's not a place to play,'" She stated, mimicking her dad's tone in a bad way as she searched around. She wasn't looking for anything specific. She froze as her ears picked up on a noise that sent a shiver down her spine. They sounded like footsteps, squeaking and dragging on the ground. Her flashlight searched the surrounding area or the source of the sound and when she turned, the flashlight lit up a familiar grey figure.

"Jackson," She murmured, just loud enough for him to hear, as she began to back away from the spirit/ghost. "We need to go, now," She ordered in an urgent tone. She grabbed hold of his hand and tugged him the opposite way of the spirit. She called for him to go faster, even if he was directly behind her and her legs were pumping full force.
