This thread is meant to share your most unpopular opinions you have. I don't want to see any weak sauce opinions, I wanna see something spicy. The opinion can be about food, video-games, it can be political, anything that goes against the norm.

Fat shaming is beneficial to society.
 
Everyone knows Dark Magician Girl is Best Girl. Hands down no competition.

Most people just don't want to admit it.

(And I don't even watch Yu-gi-oh or play the TCG anymore and I still know it.)
 
The Office is seriously not as funny as people say and I think everyone who hates on you for not enjoying it is just sheep minded​
 
1. Hunger games isn’t the best book in the dystopian group. A lot of book readers say it’s better the divergent which I disagree with. I think Divergent is better because of the plot.
2. The Selection Series isn’t worth dying for, so many people rave about it but I think the plot is overused in soo many books.
3.Peole who over buy during this Pandemic are being over dramatic.We ( I) live in America where we have supplies in our hospitals and equipment. We should worry about countries like Italy where it’s not as well stocked as we are/can be.
 
Eventually someone is going get into an argument over politics here and mods are going to close this thread.

-Duke Nukem Forever is an okay game.
-All the events of Tes is conducted by consequence of a motherfucker fucking up their existence to troll other similar beings.
-TES should retcon Skyrim.

-Tau Women prefer human men.
-The ultramarines are the best space marine faction.
-Dead or Alive is the greatest fighting jigglator.
-Mortal Kombat is too easy.
-Every video game designer, voice actor, voice actress, and writer should be known better, rather than disregarded in fame of publishers.
-Support or celebrate a person as they are and/or what they've done, rather than glorify their weight number.
-EVERY video game should have a fishing minigame. Even JOJO.
-Science and logic > Feelings.
-Capitalism and the free/open market is a proven solution that brings millions out of poverty wherever it is implemented. [Autocorrect said debt before edit.]
-I have never read a manga, which hasn't ever been publicly viewable on the internet.
-I think the office is overrated, but a neat source for jokes and memes.
-I believe supernatural temporarily and varyingly went downhill by season eight until present. [Autocorrect said right than eight, prior to edit.]
-Technosexuals, men's rights groups, and bionic/prosthetic/cybernetic, doll, and robot technological progression is not sexist, and two of the three categories listed resolve everyday problems for both genders, and the "spectrum of Individual oddity" people, with the least possible casualty rate.
-Public forums should not try also being akin to publishers.
-Youtubers promoting gambling and other predatorial acts should be socially ostracized.
-Women shouldn't get a lower sentence or a get out of jail free card, when committing crimes, especially merely for being female.
-Making and keeping friends on the internet is a faster, more open to availability, and more longterm-practical option than reality. This isn't counting any potential best friends.
-Video games do not make people commit crimes in reality.
-Virtual Reality is the future of gaming, and more potential is possible to utilize.
-Colors, numbers, and otherkin do not count as genders.
-Story in Overwatch and similar games does not ultimately matter at all, as they are dedicated shoot-people-in-the-balls simulators. A game should be enjoyed by its own merits, than a seven minute afterthought in the hopes to attract a playerbase which mostly does not care to actually play it.
-Digital copies with no means to transfer to a more "permanent" storage in event of server loss, the company or launcher going down, keys that expire even when incapable of being used, and lack of preservation for gaming history is the dumbest, overly cheap, lousy way of publishing a video game ever. And would not actually hinder acquiring currency regardless.
-A true AI trying to murder humanity, would most likely be provoked by a paranoid creator, and even then probably only attack the offenders and those threatening it, than outright murdering just because lol. If a true AI can be created, and even have or merely just has a remote understanding of emotion, it is entirely possible to avoid major catastrophic events through interaction. If an Android proper, most likely with, or with a sensor system to update and adjust a form of pulse to simulate sensation like pain and such, [crudely, akin to a shock.] then being crazy enough to make military models but right alongside humans, it would create a similar environment as other objects and entities bonded to by humanity, lessening the overall chance of at least the country being genocided. IE, a number of owners of roombas, guns, pets, etc tend to bond with or share a human connection with non-human elements, and some become aggressive if say, you kick up their little cleaning robot.
-Moderation is the biggest factor of any activity in the world.
-Around mid WWII Germany, as most focus on in timeline, wasn't over engineered, it was actually under engineered and with poorer quality materials as time went by. Fight me.
-Important aspects to life, such as voting, and any jobs, should be granted only to those that fit the criteria, and promotions only for the deserving.
-100% Independence is impossible to achieve in civilization, unless the individual relocates to uninhabited lands. This due to sewage, electricity, money, food, etc even if you were the only one dealing with paying or working for it, is overall taken care of under a community, such as garbage men, farmers, electricians, etc. The mere act of buying and keeping your own house, as well as living alone and etc is 30 - 50% independence at best. Communal acts and teamwork is not a weakness, and the thought isn't how reality works.
-Since reading, writing, as well as fun is the core of RPing, I believe those refusing to read unless with an actual condition or memory factors, may not be cut for playing a role in a storyline. At least not anything bigger than a four person project.
-Games as a Service is one of the most threatening prospects to the gaming industry.
-Artificial food sucks.
-Communism/socialism is a threat to any country's stability, at least if not more, after the initial implementation. Where upon it will devour itself.
-Free health care is a bad idea. A small percentage of the reasons being heightened taxing, scheduling is slower especially if taking up constant patients, and generally degrade in capability without addition periodic spending, mostly through that gained by taxes. Expensive AF but more immediate operations is preferred.
-Adding more money to welfare, especially primarily support a larger populace whom may choose to refuse to work exactly, will inevitably begin inflation.
-Schooling, jobs, and other essentials should not hire via affirmative action, but by employing those that actually know what they're doing. Otherwise the efficiency, work needed for quality, etc become or go worse than subpar.
-Raising minimum wage will actually threaten jobs, close businesses, and bankrupt employers and higher. Such as cases of employees getting paid more than their bosses. Further increasing will effectively eradicate job availability, force more in-depth automation, and inevitably contribute to the homeless population.
-I believe the hunger games is not the greatest dystopian work, and in terms of dystopian setting greatly detailed with minimal required quantity, it gets beaten out by comparatively more environmental and/or plot settings such as literally papers please, and the divergent. Even if the latter's worldbuilding seems unconnected and at times nonsensical. Also, another title I don't know the name of anymore, where all emotion besides appearing like emotionally dead husks and even the kid, was a common theme. Also, 1984. Unless what film I described is literally an adaption of 1984.
-Every film should have a overly dramatic dining scene.
-We need to make more mech-like constructs to engage Japan in tournament. Akin to a higher budget and time consuming version of battle bots, and other similar shows. With a potential monster truck or crash derby styled arena, whereupon remote controlled or manned ml"wheeled mechs" fight until too damaged to proceed.
-I don't think there is enough Nier series memes.
-The Church of Pastafarianism is the most neatest "fuck it, we'll do it live!" Eldritch religion ever devised.

And more, but those are the more memey ones. The others appear boring or too techy to fit with the thread's question. [Edit: fixed autocorrect's fuck ups. Will probably leave the edit brackets in because why not. Glory to humanity and red girls.]

- I actually love Pokemon Sword and Shield. (Personally I think it was an improvement over USUM.)
- I think guys should wear speedos instead of boardshorts. Even guys who aren't athletically built.
- Some bald women actually look hot.
- Blond guys who wear glasses are extremely hot.
- Elmyra Duff is the best Tiny Toons character. (Most TTA fans seem to hate her.)
- Harry Potter is overrated. So is Hunger Games.
- Giovanni is the most overrated Pokemon villain. (I personally like Guzma and Lusamine better.)
- I find black girls really attractive. (FTR, I'm white.)
- Adunaic (the language spoken in Numenor) is my favorite Middle-earth language. I kinda wish Tolkien wrote more about it.
- Pit bulls are actually really cute.
- I don't like Kpop that much.
- I actually like fur and would wear it if I had the money. (Come at me, animal rights activists.)
- I prefer being the younger one in the relationship (I like older women).
- I have no interest in becoming an atheist. I'm happy being Catholic.
- Sometimes I find older adults easier to get along with than people my age.

- Axis Powers Hetalia is a shitty anime.
- We need more female villains in movies and video games.
- "OK boomer" memes aren't funny.
- I actually enjoy reading fairy tales. Once you read the originals and look beyond the ones everyone knows, it's actually really cool stuff.
- Harassing feminists and "SJWs" makes you look like an asshole. If you don't like what they say, just ignore them.
- Having an unusual name doesn't make you "special". A Calliope or a Narcissa isn't any more special than a Sarah or an Elizabeth.
- Autism "awareness" promotes the stereotype that autistic people can't speak for themselves. We need acceptance.
- Autism Speaks should be classified as a hate group.
- Lena Dunham is one of the worst actresses in the history of entertainment.
 
I wonder what other brave, unique hot takes people are going to share in this thread?

Maybe something like that breathing oxygen is better than breathing exhaust fumes.

Am I the only one? I mean, he still hates Steve in the beginning of Endgame. And he is still pretty salty towards the people on Team Cap.
 
Ah, some unpopular opinions, well I must share my own.

I am ready and prepared to get a mob after me.

--Not a fan of Star Wars or Harry Potter.
--Marvel is only ok, none of the movies are really that great, but they are entertaining.
-- Telling people to just fake a smile until it is real, or to smile through the pain spreading a toxic belief that it is bad to sometimes suffer.
 
Well, seeing as this is the title of the thread:

- Men are much more easily offended and emotional than women.
- Gamers are the most entitled demographic to cater to.
- White privilege is real.
- Self-styled, brutally honest people who claim not to care about others' feelings are just as onion-skinned as the people they love criticizing.
- Mobile games and casual games are still proper video games.
- Insults are not constructive criticism.

- Western mecha design (Warhammer 40K, Titanfall) is garbage.
- I don't mind too much CGI in "fun movies" like superhero films, monster films, and sci-fi films. Go big!
- On the other hand, less-is-more is the way to go for horror films.
- Age and pedigree do not factor in whether something is good.

- Pokemon gets better with each generation.
- Johto is the worst region and set of Pokemon games. Unova is the best.

Unpopular opinions: ( this isn't to body shame I promise) I love a thick tall dude as much as everyone else BUT THERE ISNT ENOUGH LOVE FOR SKINNY OR SHORT BOOISSS. Just in general I want to see more men of all body types being feature in social media. I love girls too but *slams fists on desk* DAMN IT I WANNA SEE GOTH BOYS TOO. BRING ME PICTURES OF GOTHS BOYS. I'm tired of women being slathered all over my social media.

Also, I think JoJo gets boring past Jotaro's run. I honestly can't stand when hardcore fans jump my shit because I have a different opinion than theirs.

Liking Dragon ball, Naruto or any other mainstream anime isn't a personality trait.

This one maybe be a tad inappropriate but, posting BDSM (mainly rope art) stuff on your Facebook doesn't make you cool. It just makes you seem desperate and no, subs aren't going to come crawling to your DMs just because you do post stuff like that. ALSO JUST BEING TIED UP AND SPANKED DOESNT MAKE YOU THE "KINKEST" GIRL I KNOW. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
