" Yes but I am afraid of being my mom " Jessy pushed away from him " I'm scared of being in a relationship OK! " she said a little louder then whispered " could you please let me go now "
Osto let Jessie go. "Sorry," he told her.

" Its not your fault... I've just been...distant, my whole life " Jessy said and moved back closer to shore where the water was up to her chest

Osto followed after Jessie, wading through the water to her. "Maybe you should stop being so distant," he told her. "I'm coming to grips with the fact that I have been missing so much of my life, and I have just now begun to regain it. Thanks to you." Osto grabbed Jessie's hand gently. "Jessie, I want to help you now."

Jessy looked to Osto's hand holding hers and she looked up at him she smiled a bit

Osto waded through the water to Jessie, feeling how cold it was, and stopped when he was right in front of her. He looked into her eyes, trying to show her how much he cared for her. "Please," he said, pleading, "let me help you in anyway I can, Jessie." Osto raised a hand to her face.

Jessy blushed a bit then nodded " Alright... " she stood up and glanced around " But first, you still need to teach me how to swim "

Osto came up, and placed his hands on Jessie's hips and stomach. "Okay," he said, "now move your arms back, as if you're pushing yourself backwards."

Jessy hesitated then did as he said pushing her arms back like he had said

"Good," Osto told Jessie, "that's a back stroke." Osto let Jessie continue the back stroke, and then yawned. He blinked. "I'm getting tired now. Shall I make a bed for us to sleep in?" He said the words carefully as he lifted Jessie up, and set her back down on her feet in the water.

Jessy looked up at him then nodded * Um sure " the breeze picked up and she shivered

Osto picked Jessie up, and carried her out of the water. He set her down once they got put of the water. "This won't take to long," he told Jessie. He concentrated hard. A massive amount of shoulder blades came out of his back, and fell to the ground as one. They were all interconnected to tleach other. Osto picked it up, and gave it a small shake. He was sweating a bit, but it didn't last long. He had the bone blanket to Jessie. "You can try it, I made so that the bones were smooth and soft. I'll get out clothes." Osto then ran off to do just that.

Jessy blinked and set the...bone blanket down....then wiped her hands off Ew Ew Ew gross not using that she thought and walked off to go get her bag where she had her clothes

Todd scratched under Mikhail's chest, absently watching the shifting scenery around him.

"Let's go on the boardwalk," he said, suddenly. "I want to check something."

Osto returned to find Jessie gone. He saw the bone blanket on the ground. He frowned, very confused. "Jessie? Where are you?" He called.

"Sure thing." I walked over to my scythe and bow and picked them up, stuffing my shoes into what little room there was in my quiver, and letting my clothing hang off of my scythe. "Let's go." I smiled. I didn't want to be too far away from my weapons if I needed them... plus, someone might steal my things.

Todd nodded, whistled for Mikail's attention, and started off to the boardwalk, arms behind his head.

The boardwalk was a typical fair: touristy, full of bright colors and sandy paths, umbrellas open in front of businesses to eat under, tacky souvenir shops open for business, and large boards advertising swimwear and other clothes. Todd rolled his eyes, and avoided a skating blonde girl.

"Well, food should be good here."

"Yeah, should be, hopefully... uh... only... um... I... uh... don't really have any money for this kind of stuff." I rubbed the back of my head, looking down. "S-Sorry." I mean, I did have some money, but I'd rather keep what little I had in the event of an emergency.

Mikhail shifted back into his usual form and got his pants back on before following Todd, catching up to him and putting one arm around him "Thank you, friend, I owe you one" He was still only in pants and Todd's collar as he didn't get his jacket back from Todd, but it didn't bother him as they walked along the boardwalk "I'm afraid to say i don't have any money either..."

Todd swiped the collar back from Mikhail and threw the jacket back at him, adjusting his vest, and handing some cash over to a vendor for some pretzels.

"Seriously, don't you guys have jobs?" he asked, munching. "I mean, even I have a-ooooh, music store!"

"Oh... well... we've only been on the island for a week, and Mr. Nakashima kind of takes up most of my time after school... so I haven't really been able to look for a job. Even if I found one, I doubt that I'd have as much time to do it. Sometimes Mr. Nakashima only keeps me for half an hour, or for the rest of the day depending on what we're doing." I rubbed the back of my head.

Mikhail caught his jacket and put it back on "Not many people hire wolves, the most i get is bounties from helping chase down those criminals that escaped. it isn't much though, and the last went into food for yesterday"

"Ooooohhh!"

"Goodbye my Coney Island, bayy beee"

"Farewell my own true love!"

The barber shot quartet sang in perfect tune at the edge of the boardwalk, as many people, despite the recent escape of many criminals, bustled about shopping, eating ice cream, and enjoying their day.

Just below them, Mikkish grinned as he applied sunscreen to the young blonde woman, who was likely 18 or 19. She was of course laying on her stomach, enjoying the half sunscreen application half message, while Mikkish was scoping a few other beach hotties.

But suddenly something else caught his eye. A large, dark figure appeared in the water...and it didn't look fish like. It looked like a massive half person half...animal.

And then the large, crimson, gory beast rose from the water, or rather, galloped. It stood twice as tall as the biggest Maniacles mercs seen on the island, and looked to be missing all it's skin, so the veins, bones, and organs were bare for all to see. Its upper body resembled the shape of a human, though the arms had no hands at the end; they just tapered to a bladed tip. The head was wider than a man's, and several eyes and small mouths covered it's face in random spots asymmetrically. The bottom half looked like an undead horse, though in place of a tail was four small tentacles.

And the people on the beach...the mages, well the didn't seem to notice, and some seemed to looke but not care. This didn't last long, however, as immediately this horror began sprinting through the sands of the beach, spearing and grabbing mages left and right.

I soon heard the screaming coming from the beach. "Todd, Mikhail, let's go!" I instinctively grabbed Todd's arm with my free hand and rushed toward the beach. What I saw made my blood turn cold and the bile churn in my stomach and rush to the back of my throat... some... thing was grabbing and spearing people left and right. "W-We... We gotta do something!"
