Literal strength...like if you could punch a hole in a wall without powers, you still can. If you needed to use an ability to improve your muscles to do so, you can't...um is that clear?

Yes. So apart from strength, their durability and speed was reduced to normal human levels?

yes, the reason being if that the people who lived in the town were still there, they wouldn't be in THAT much danger. Or else all the new people would be able to slaughter them if they wanted. See?

temporary until everyone finds out how to fix it. People can try it alone, or do it in groups, the whole point is that this is arc one and will bring in a villian...who that is I will not tell yet >:3

Normally it would cause the bodies to become possessed by a Daemon on, but since his powers were weakened it's going to have less than desirable results. More specifically it's going to summon a simple group of Nurglings instead.
