Walking. All Gregory and Freddy did was walk. They still had no idea what was going on, and being stuck on the island wasn't doing them any favors. Freddy often glanced over at the city. He could swear this was San Francisco, but it looked slightly different. In fact, the famous Golden Gate Bridge was replaced by a long stretch of train tracks that went into the city, a line of tracks connecting to the island. Gregory, on the other hand, was far more focused on finding something like a boat. Not that he was intending to sail out to the city with it's current condition, but instead, just wanted to go somewhere else.San Buena, California: 10:35 AM
"You know, I think this is the farthest from home I've been." Freddy broke the silence. "Thing is, I thought cities like this didn't change as drastically."
"Don't ask me." Gregory said. "I've never seen this place before."
"Perhaps we should ask around?" Freddy asked.
"Who are we going to ask? We've been walking for thirty minutes and no one has shown up." Gregory huffed. "Besides, we shouldn't be talking to anyone anyway."
"Don't be like that, Gregory." Freddy said. "We're not in the Pizzaplex anymore. I think we're more than OK if we ask around."
Gregory sighed as Freddy saw something approaching them. "Look. Someone's coming this way now. Excuse me, can you help us-"
WHAM!!!
Freddy is knocked away from a kangaroo kick attack. Gregory stepped back as he watched his friend hit the ground. "Freddy!"Out of nowhere, seven robots surrounded the boy. All of them looked the same, humanoid in shape, blocky, resembling a baseball player in his late 20's. They all swarmed the two like termites, laughing.
"Ey! Look at what we found, fellas!" One of the bots said. "Fresh meat for the beatin!"
They rest began to cheer, as if they were ready to throw an amazing birthday party.
"W-Wait!" Freddy sat up. "We just need some help, that's all..."
"Help! OOOOh ye! We can help ya!" One said. "HELP BEAT YA FRIGGIN BRAINS OUT!!!"
"Of course it's killer robots..." Gregory sighed.
One of the bots approached behind Gregory, holding up it's baseball bat to give him a good thwack. However, it's suddenly shot away by a bolt of yellow that swooped by Gregory's head. The other bots scramble in surprise.
From the rocks, a young girl came out of nowhere, a bow and arrow like weapon being fired at the bots. She pulls back on it's string, and it fires three arrow shaped blobs of ink toward the bots, knocking two of them down, missing one.
"YO! KILL THAT SHRINK!" One of the bots yell.
The remaining four charged at the girl. She quickly leaps off of the rocks, firing another shot, hitting one. She lands on top of one, causing another to tackle them and knock them both down. As she turns to face the other, she's grabbed by the wrist of one of them, causing her to drop her watch onto the floor. She struggles in it's grasp, growling as it lifts her up to it's face.
Then, from her back, a small creature crawled out and screeched at the bot. It seemed to startle the bot, and once it's grip was loose, the girl uses her own body weight to grab onto the bots arm, and by flipping her body, threw the bot into the sky. It falls back and smashes into the other two. She turns around, seeing the bots on the ground. She then looks over to Gregory and Freddy, who both become defensive.
"What....was that??" Freddy asked.
"WHO is that?" Gregory asked.
The girl lowers her weapon, realizing who it is. She has found their targets. She lifts her wrist up to her mouth to speak, but notices that her watch was gone. She frantically looks around for the watch. It's gone. Flat out gone. Gregory and Freddy watch in confusion. Freddy steps forward. "M-Miss? Did you lose something?"
"I think she lost her watch." Gregory said. "I saw it fall off her wrist."
She didn't respond, she spoke in a strange tongue, but obviously furious. Suddenly, a small thud was heard, and the girl took notice to it. The watch. She runs over to it and yoinks it off the ground. She connects it onto her wrist and sighs in relief. She turns back over to Gregory and Freddy. She opened her mouth to speak.
"Ꜿꝋ𐰜 トwꝋ. Ꜿꝋ𐰜 иƒƒʋ トꝋ ↄꝋγᚢƒ w⌶トξ γᚢƒ r⌶gξト иꝋw."
"...Huh?" Both Gregory and Freddy said.
The girl realized that she had to speak their native language. She presses a few buttons on her watch, and she speaks again.
"You...t-two. Need to come with me." She spoke. "I-I can help you."
"...No...No, NO!" Gregory stepped to the girl. "Who ARE you!"
The girl wasn't flinched by Gregory's outburst, but she did step away from him. "M-My name is A-Agent 3. I am with the Universe Correction Agency....You both are in danger."
"Uni- what?" Gregory asked.
"I don't think I've heard of that organization before." Freddy said. "Do you know what's happening?"
"No." Agent 3 said. "But, you don't need to worry about it. I can take you back to my base." She holds up her watch and presses a few buttons, summoning a portal....accept nothing pops up for her. She tries again, and...nothing. Confused, she tries to contact the HQ. "T-This is Agent 3. I found the targets. I'm trying to summon a portal back, but nothing's popping up..." No response.
She lowers her arm and sighs. "We need to go. If we take the next train, we can get as far away from the city as possible."
"Hold on." Gregory said. "Freddy, how are we supposed to trust her? I mean, she's talking into a watch, it looks like she hasn't changed that shirt in years, and she kind of smells."
"Well, you do it too, Superstar." Freddy responded. "Beside...with our current situation, what other choice do we have?"
Unbeknownst to the lot, during the battle, Agent 3's watch had been taken away by an unknown entity, and has infused itself inside. In fact, as we speak, Berserk is slowly creeping through CiMos' security systems.
San Buena, California: 10:46 AM
The train system was quite impressive. The train had no driver, and instead drove through the use of electricity and the internet, however the hell that works. Gregory, Freddy, and Three all sat beside each other. No one else was present on the train, instead it was just the three awaiting for the train to take them away. They didn't say a word, sitting in silence. However, Freddy broke the silence. "San...Buena....Huh. So this is a different universe...I wonder if there's another me....or someone like me.""I don't care." Gregory said. "I just want to get out of this place."
"Don't worry, Superstar." Freddy said. "You and I are going to get out, and go home, and go back to the Pizzaplex."
"So I can be alone again?" Gregory asked.
"Gregory, I know current situations seem bleak-"
"I'm ok going back to our...universe?...but I'm not going back to the Pizzaplex." Gregory folded his arms.
"You know I can't leave the Pizzaplex, Gregory..." Freddy spoke softly. "And I know that....well, you know."
"The other's will try to kill me if I go back?" Gregory hissed.
"Gregory, I'm still here with you." Freddy said. "I promise you, no matter what, I will be by your side."
Gregory looked away from Freddy. Three looked at the two, a look of empathy on her face. She looks down at her watch and presses a few buttons. Before her, a small portal opened, she sighs in relief knowing the Subspace Storage Pocket still worked for her. Gregory looks with curiosity. "What in the heck?"
"Subspace Storage Pocket." The Inkling said. "It lets me store items that I can't carry on me." She pulls out two bags of chips. "Hungry?"
Gregory looks at the chips, they weren't any brand he was familiar with, which is saying something. He takes the bag, looking at it.
"Gregory. What do we say when someone gives us something?" Freddy looks down at Gregory.
"Thank you." Gregory said. "I really- uuuuuUUUUUUAAAAAHHH!!! Freddy!" Gregory points outside the window.
Freddy, confused, looks out the window and gasps. The train wasn't heading away from the city, it was moving toward it. They could see the damaged buildings of the city, no human alive was near. Freddy was in awe at the destruction. Though, he did notice that there seemed to be large ships slowly approaching the city. The Army, perhaps? He didn't think much more as the train makes it's way into the city. The sun was obscured by he tall buildings, the train coming to a halt. The three looked outside to see the damage. It looked like something out of a Michael Bay film....whoever that is. Suddenly, the sound of the trains doors opening filled the threes ears. Gregory, Three, and Freddy all ducked into the chairs, Freddy trying his best to hide his large body.
The three could see more of those bots walking onto the train. Some of them scoffing in disappointment. "What the hell, guys? I thought there'd be some meatbags we could beat up 'ere!"
"Yeh! I was SO WANTING to kill somethin today!"
Realizing Freddy would have a harder time hiding, Three presses a button on her watch, sending an S.O.S to Fireteam Maverick and Samus, hoping they'd come and destroy these bots before they find them "Please work, please PLEASE work..."
All the while, many MANY more were gather in that location...
