HUNK grabbed Callie by her collar and ripped her away from the encroaching ink monsters, pulling her straight upwards. “He said get back!” he snapped at her, blasting the mutating Marie three more times. “Whatever that is, it’s not your cousin anymore. Now run… before you get infected, too.”

Aeon took the girl and performed a wall run to bypass the mass of blobs assailing the girl. She swiped a disinfectant wipe off the desk and cleaned off any remaining ink from Callie’s arms. Hopefully, it wasn’t too late already. “Come on. I’ll get you to safety,” she whispered before grasping her wrist. “HUNK, Croft, cover me.”

Lara could tell this wouldn’t be as easy as shooting the creatures and being done. She quickly peeked into each room, looking for flammable oxygen tanks—a perfect way to cause an explosion without bringing down the whole complex.

Storm managed to block several of the heavy blows, but Goret hit fast and hard. She was launched backwards from the impact. The temperature dropped sharply, the already cold water starting to freeze at the surface. A loud noise was soon audible from above as a funnel cloud spawned. Like a bomb, it was plummeting towards the lake.

"NO! LET GO OF ME! MARIIIIIEEE!!!!" Callie screamed as Aeon ran off with her, the ink had been wiped from her, but it seemed to already stain her skin. The splotches of ink gathered around Marie, who finally succumed to the hive mind, her entire body turning black, and becoming formless. They all gathered together, forming a giant black blob, with eyeballs surrounding it. Tentacles flapped around, aimlessly, even arms and legs of passed patients could be seen sticking out of it. The Knight watched in horror as the creature made itself absolute. Then, it lets out an ear piercing scream, a thousand voices crying out as the creature lunges at the lot. A massive tentacle almost striking the Knight as he dodges, swinging his broadsword to slice anything coming for him. Other parts of the creatue surrounding HUNK, one long tentacle with a visible mouth lunging at him.

Goret watched as the lake was smashed by the funneling cloud. He seemed almost indifferent about it. His eyes then light up, turning over to see Smaug, just watching too. "Hey! You!" Goret called to the dragon. "What's YOU'RE power level!?"

Gritting his teeth, he was at least thankful the shields held as the force of the SMG's rate of fire tore through the abomination's face like tissue paper; culminating in the creature releasing its hold as the Spartan took a few steps back. Quickly grabbing his second M7 off the ground, Jack growled as he looked up only to see a bench flying at his face. With microseconds to spare, the Spartan bent his knees, dipped his torso forward and to the right-

-and slapped the bench to the side with his forearm. The sudden impact caused much of the kinetic energy to be taken by the MJOLNIR's shields; causing a brilliant yellow flare that briefly illuminated the darkened interior of the mall corridor. The object itself was destroyed with a deafening crack; a hail of splintering wood, popping screws and the screech of twisting metal being the only sign of a direct hit. Still, however, Jack remained standing. It managed to throw him off for a fraction of a second, yet the Spartan quickly resumed to cover his own retreat back toward his squad; arms raised and SMG's firing in a full-auto spray toward the fast-moving assailant's location. "Incoming; scatter NOW!"

The remaining three Spartans who were engaged with the bigger of the two hellspawns saw the grey blips of inanimate objects moving quickly through the area and immediately took evasive action. Ellie immediately activated her Cloak and vanished from sight, while Hailey and Felix ran to the immediate right; taking cover in a nearby storefront. Once inside, Felix flicked two fingers toward the entryway as they stacked up on either side; with Hailey taking switching to her sniper rifle and scoping in to send a quick 'fuck you' anti-matieral round aimed right at the face of the gigantic Sonicoid.

The large Sonic let's out a loud roar, it's damaged eyeball exploding in a shower of sparks and a red kind of oil. It slams it's head down, opening it's mouth wide, and charges at the lot, aiming for Hailey. Before he can bite her, however, she reels back, and throws a hand toward her direction, either attempting to catch her, or squeeze her. All the while, the smaller Sonic leaped out at Lucia, his mouth expanding again, and latching onto her leg like a rabid dog.

"excellent, let's hope smaug goret and the rest of those fools take care of each other" zork sneered at the dragon, Saiyan, metahuman princess, French aristocrat, and ninja from the same species as meta knight and Kirby, and wind priestess, and octoling when the robots stepped out of the teleportation device with the Australium, "even better, the Australium is in the hands of the mighty zork! None will be able to stop my plans!" Zork bragged, it didn't seem to occur to him that there were other threats besides goret and frank, like kain, or Leo.

After Cooling off, Smaug then heads towards the Mall, ignoring Goret for now. He takes off with a mighty flap.

Hailey instinctively dove backward from the outstretched hand, moving further in the store. However, this thing was a fingertip away from touching the two Spartans, and something needed to happen fast? Heavy weapons were out of the question; the backsplash of either grenade rifle or rocket would kill them both. Hailey clung her sniper rifle to her chest; sliding the weapon over her figure to get it away from the thing's damaging embrace. Yet, they couldn't help but see a yellow blip suddenly materialize a few feet outside the storefront.

The shimmering air dissolved into form as Ellie broke into a dead sprint right at the back of the massive Sonic imitation; leaping into the air and landing upon its back as she knew she only had a few seconds to enact what she was planning to do. "Fire an EMP at me!" Ellie yelled into the comms; climbing up to the crest of the screeching, swiping mutant. Felix nearly paused in hesitation, yet did as he was told; angling his Grenade Rifle and launching a round straight at Ellie's form. Keeping the trigger depressed, the two watched as Ellie's right hand flew out to grab the charged grenade round, lean down, and slam the projectile into the wounded side of its head before kick-jumping off the front of the creature. "NOW!"

Not a second was an option to delay. Felix released the trigger of his weapon; detonating the grenade in a blue sphere of electromagnetic energy, fire and shrapnel. Consequently, the blast radius caught the Spartan as well; snapping her shields with a horrifically loud 'CRACK!' as she tucked into a recovery roll off of the creature; sprinting into the store. One-handing her Magnum, Hailey charged forward and opened up with a volley of semi-automatic pistol fire. Felix proceeded to quickly reload his weapon; doubling back and breaking open the breech to eject the spent round and chamber a fresh one.

Jack, however, swapped targets. Upon seeing Lucia become ensnared by the rabid doglike Sonic, he broke into a sprint and retrieved his knife in his left hand. Rushing up behind the blue bastard, he found the foe to be somewhat similar to an Unggoy- and decided that's how he was going to take it out. Grabbing it by several of its hairlike bundles; Jack attempted to yank a purchase onto the thing; pulling it back and away from Lucia before bringing the knife up and slamming downward; attempting to plunge the blade and bury it up to the hilt in the being's cranium.

As the battle ensued inside, a portal had been called outside, behind the dragon. From it, Soldier, Heavy, and Pyro leaped out of the portal, Soldier faceplanting on the ground, letting out a strange noise as he does. He stands, looking up at Smaug. "Alright, S'mores, let's start over!" He pulls out the crate of Australium once again, making Heavy look at him, confused.

"Wait, I thought we lost Australium?" Heavy questioned.

"THAT was 57 pounds worth of C4, maggot!" Soldier said. "It's going to explode in three....two..............Well, it's too far away to hear now, but whoever grabbed it is probably a pile of burnt limbs." Soldier holds up the crate, running across the asphalt. "Here I am, Merasmus! I got your drugs!"

Heavy reeled up his minigun, holding it at Smaug, and firing a barrage of bullets at him, a shower of sparks as they reflect from his hide.

Once zorks fit of premature gloating was finished the diabolical alien mastermind opened the crate of "Australium" and looked inside "what is this? This dosent look like Australium" zork said before a realization came to him and he tapped one of the clasps fastening a fancy collar and cape to his usual suit and it proceeded to project a low level force field that was strong enough to withstand the blast but not without severe injury "THIS LOOKS LIKE C4!" Was the last sentence zork uttered before it blew up, annihilating the robots before they could put their forcefields up and badly wounding the malevolent alien, who was thrown into a wall, his high collar and cape badly tattered by the blast, burns all over his body, and zorks face contorted into a look of pure hate and anger as he clutched his remaining hand into a fist "MARK MY WORDS FRANK! YOUR LITTLE MINIONS HAVE FAILED TO END ME! YOU HAVENT SEEN THE LAST OF ZORRRRRRRK!" Zork yelled, both physically and telepathically to anyone who could hear him, the alien had no idea that soldier had outwitted him without Frank's help, and without knowing about him,

Smaug looks at the 3 while the bullets bounce off his scales.
”Idiots, You can’t penetrate me, for my scales are like shields, and now, you shall know why my breath is… death…”
He then begins to charge up his fire breath, his whole underbelly glowing, and then fires the attack at Soldier, Pyro and Heavy.

The giant Sonic's body began to spasm as the electricity ran through it, it's own synthetic fur burning as it screamed, the entire bottom portion now fully exposed machinery. The bullets ripped the right side of it's face apart, sparks flying as the thing began to crawl toward the two, electricity surging through it. It then charges at Felix, opening it's mouth wide, it bites onto his body, right at the waist.

The creature thrashed it's arms at the Spartan, moving it's head to look at him as he plunges the blade into it's mouth, a groggy roar escaping it's mouth. The Spartan's strength ripping the fur to show more of it's crustaceous shell. Then, it's entire body went limp, becoming lifeless...or perhaps, it wasn't dead and it was just pretending? Or maybe it is dead?..I dunno, you did something to it.​

Bio Spark slammed the hammer into the nail once more, wiping sweat off of his head. "Phew. There, now we got the perfect machine to extract Goret with."

The machine in question looked like a large triangle, with three cylinders surrounded it. He looks up to see Goret looking into the storm that Storm had stormed up....storm.

"I have no idea what the hell you're cooking up, lady!" Goret shouted. "BUT IT BETTER TASTE GOOD!"

Bio Spark turned to the others. "Ok, me and Talim are going to go and try to distract Goret. Eight, Terra, and Siegfried will activate the trap when he gets close enough. Marina said this will zap a chunk of his power away."

Marina's voice comes over the comms. "Guys! I just got Raditz to come! He should be arriving shortly."

A portal opened, Raditz flew out of it with a stern face, looking at Goret. Raditz could see that he had transformed.

"I see. He's not even in his strongest form. No matter." Raditz clenches his fists, his power rising as he prepares to transform into a Super Saiyan 3-

WHAM!!!​

Raditz could feel a horrid pain in his gut, blood spewing out of his mouth as Goret looks him dead in the eye. Goret then grabs Raditz, and throws him at the others, slamming into Terra and Bio Spark. "No! NO MORE TRICKS!" He puts his hands together. "KAAAAAAA! MEEEEEEE! HAAAAA! MEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The knight ran around the beast, it's entire body making it hard to maneuver. Swinging his broadsword at the tentacles coming for him, he tries to find an escape rout to take. When he sees the area where Callie might have came from, he darts toward it, only to be swiped away by it's massive tentacles. He rams into the wall, his helmet falling off to show an aged man, with brown yet thin and old hair. He slowly stands, but is then grabbed by the beast, it's tentacles wrapping around his neck, choking him.

Soldier fires a rocket toward the ground, launching himself into the sky. He then fires a few rockets toward Smaug, two hitting in front of the dragon, one hitting his back. Heavy quickly ducks behind a broken concrete pillar, and Pyro, doing the same, holds out a chicken to be cooked.

While It was practially useles, it did remove two of Smaug‘s scales in the back, and removed 3 more scales around his first missing one, making his weak point a tad bit bigger.

Lucia let out a sharp yell as the smaller creature dug into her. She sank against the wall, struggling to think fast. That was when Jack stepped in to aid her in dislodging the beast. She swiftly configured her amulet with the Healing Heart, then activated her Devil Trigger. Now in her demon state, the bite wound began to heal. A blistering downward kick threatened to smash the creature. “We can never be too certain these monsters are dead,” she stated while returning to human form. “Thank you, by the way.”

“It’s not stopping him…!” Storm charged in to grab Goret from behind and restrain him, potentially delaying or thwarting his powerful attack. “Hurry! NOW!” Her arms locked around his, and although he was much stronger, the mutant mustered every ounce of strength. Was it enough, though?

With Aeon fleeing, Lara covered her exit. Bullets were doing minimal damage as expected, so she enacted her plan and grabbed an oxygen tank from one of the rooms. She then slid it across the floor to the creature’s base, but stopped as it grabbed the knight.

HUNK expertly ducked around its tentacles and, with his knife, sliced the one constricting the knight’s throat. In his other hand was the MP7, with which he sprayed the monster and its grotesque appendages. “Back up. Croft’s gonna blow it!” he announced.

"Welcome. We're goin-"

"We have a Spartan casualty! Two's been injured; get over here NOW!" Ellie's voice barked sharply across the general channel, prompting Jack to glance quickly at Lucia as he turned and promptly bolted in the direction of his team's NavMarkers on his HUD. Rounding the corner, Ellie and Hailey had already descended on the extracted body of the blue Spartan; holding the maw open as Felix rolled out and onto the tiled floor; sparkling yellow arcs of energy running across his armor and intermingling with the rivets of crimson that seeped from the triangular punctures at his torso. As Jack ran to adopt a crouch beside his squadmate, Hailey was already at work retrieving a bio foam canister and depressing the tip into the biofoam injector port above the wound. Squeezing the handle, the compressed medical foam shot into his trunk as the blood running freely from his armor was gradually replaced with the pale-white hardening substance that closed the wounds tightly shut. Felix emitted a gurgling cough, prompting Jack to remove his helmet. The man underneath was as pale as his expression was pissed, with a trail of blood seeping from his nose and trickling out the side of his mouth. "F-fuckin' got me good, Boss. Takes more than that to kill an Irishman, lemme tell you.."

Jack sighed, looking up and over as Ellie had climbed to the top of the giant Sonic and promptly magdumped her rifle into its exposed facial area. "Four, enough. Fall in." Responding with an irritated growl, the woman jumped off the monster and regrouped back to look over toward the downed Spartan as Jack shot a glance at Hailey. "Condition?"

"Bad, but stabilized for now. The sooner we get him MEDEVAC'd back to Headquarters, the better." Jack bit back a curse as he shook his head, proceeding to radio into the Agency Headquarters. "Command, we've got a Spartan down. Condition stable; I'm pulling them back to HQ along with Hailey to oversee treatment." With that, Jack aimed his watch-module a few feet away and shot a portal back to the Agency. Without another word exchanged, Felix gave a bloody, toothy smile and tapped Jack's breastplate; grabbing his helmet with his left hand as Hailey stood him up and helped him to the portal. The field collapsed and dissolved shortly after as Jack looked back to Ellie.

"They'll be fine. Let's regroup on Lucia and locate HUNK."

"On you." Ellie growled out. Jack nodded, heading back to Lucia's position- depending on if she decided to follow. If she did, he'd give her a glancing nod- only turning back to look at the small streaks of Felix's blood on the floor before continuing onward.

“Call Akira,” Leo ordered hastily, choosing not to elaborate on who this man was. “She’ll be our best help in this case.”

Yamato chuckled, pointing his X Baton at Leo. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Kain looked at what was happening and the unexpected events that occurred was gonna give Kain a headache, he saw how Kain stood in a defensive stance from the person in front. Ignoring the warning from Pepperjack, he also intervened. "You shouldn't either" Kain replied walking at Leo's side.

He didn't know what to do and he was still recovering from the fight earlier, he then mentally spoke to Leo, "Leo, what should we do, should I send us to the Mirror Dimension, teleport us away, attack them?" Kain said in a confused tone, he was confused by all of this and was still processing what the hell happened, but he knew that if they didn't do something, the person in front of them will.

Before they could leave, the man in black armor struck! He zipped forwards faster than the eye could track, his X baton alight with deadly electricity while he swung it right at Leo's face.

Yamato's expression was unreadable but his intentions to disable the party were very clear. As he swung at Leo, he activated his Legatus, summoning his Sword Legion to fly around the group in a pincer style attack, the demon driving its sword right at Kain's back.

Leo took the full brunt of the hit. He twisted around and reeled back. He swung his magic shield outward, catching the sword blow, then produced a purple gem. “Dogma!” he called at breakneck speed.



A ghastly spirit appeared and a violet-tinted mist blanketed the area around the party with supernatural poison. The remaining trees began to rot quickly and the area was obscured. This was Kain’s chance to act.

Kain gave Leo a firm nod, with the Sling Ring still in his hand, he was about the teleport everyone when the man in the black armor struck at them. It was so fast, Kain had thought they teleported, but Kain kept his composure. He didn't even notice when they summoned a robotic being to attack him, but Leo saved him and blocked the attack before it could hit him, grateful for the save he then saw Leo create a blanket of dark violet mist around them.

Kain then used the Sling Ring and teleported everyone, including himself to the HQ, with a circular portal surrounding everyone and teleported them away.
