THIS CHARACTER SHEET IS RATED E FOR ERMENGARD.

Duke Ermengard Falco

Age: 45.

Gender: Male.

Species/Race: Human.

Kingdom of Origin: Elysium.

Abilities:

Workhorse: Possessed of excellent stamina and energy unusual for his age, Ermengard can work day and night toiling away at any project until it reaches fruition. Whether he has to plan the strategies of battle or investigate the problems of a local town or chop some fifty trees a dozen paces away, this man is your man, pal. Younger men get tired just watching this man do his job.

Quick Reader: While not earth-shaking, it is still a quality worth noting. Ermengard can read a full page in less than five seconds, tops. In addition, he can remember each and every detail from a 50-page manual he just read a week ago without double-checking.

Administrator: Ermengard is a master at bureaucracy. Name any official, any single thing, from anywhere in the light kingdom and he knows what exactly it is and how he can get it for you at top speed. This allows Ermengard to organize any project with the speed of lightning.

Farmer: Ermengard ran a farm for a decade. He can tell you all about dirt, how to plant crops and how to take care of animals.

Amateur Schemer: With spies and informers at court and abroad, Ermengard maintains a silent presence in all corners of the world but he lacks the skill and knowledge to know what to do with it.

Above-Average Officer: Ermengard is a decent tactician and a good leader but is no better than that.

Expert Spearman: Ermengard found a favored weapon in the spear. A man can strike the enemy from afar with its iron sharp point yet smash him with the butt end of its wooden shaft if he got too close. It's an excellent throwing weapon, it can be used one-handed or two-handed and it can be used with a shield. The appeal of all these benefits won Ermengard over and soon he found himself training exclusively for the spear for as long as he can remember. He also has a neat ability to thrust his 8 ft spear full-length with just one hand and with speed, a feat that requires much strength and skill to accomplish.

Sword and Shield: When forced to fight up close Ermengard uses the sword and shield. While not as good with these weapons as like he is with a spear, he can wield them competently.

Horseman: With over four decades of experience under his belt, Ermengard knows how to handle a horse. He can tell what exactly the horse is feeling just by looking at it. He can cure common horse-related diseases. He is comfortable on the saddle, able to move left, right, forward, back and sideways with ease. It is hard to unhorse Ermengard, only with the greatest effort is it ever possible to dislodge him from the saddle. It is just as hard to scare Ermengard's horses for he always conditions them to the horrors of battle.

Personality: While Ermengard is a man of an extraordinary skill and discipline, he's just an ordinary man at the end of the day. He has a job that commands authority, being the Duke of Falcland is no easy task for sure. He commands armies. He fights wars. He writes laws. He hunts and hangs big-time criminals. Sometimes he reports to the king and attends council meetings. He says the right words at the right time at the right place. He follows the rules and never strays far from it. He has no true ambitions. He is content. End of story. The job ends. Ermengard punches the clock and its back to his family.

His oldest son is dead. The next oldest son is a maniac. He tries to keep that one under control and fails most of the time. His other two sons and his only daughter seem fine to him and he spends his free time with them. Whatever free time he has to spare, it is not much since he is a god among workaholics, but it will do. More often he will send them on errands at work, since that is a practical way to train them for nobility as well as to get them in touch with him. Sometimes, his wife will come to complain about how he could do a better job with the good job he's doing. He smiles, listens and hopes she'll go away. And in a sinister turn of events, he ignores her. Life moves on.

History/Bio:

When Ermengard came into this world the entire realm had been at war for more than three decades. As the son of Duke Cadwgan Falco, he was expected to lead men in battle one day. And so when the young lad learned how to walk, how to read and write he was given instruction in the art of war. For a time all seemed to go well, he demonstrated a genius level of competence in personal combat and learned battle tactics well enough. The trouble began one day when he confessed that he'd rather not fight at all. Instead, he suggested in plain language, maybe he should just stay back in the castle and run the estate. He had a passion for managing things, watching how things work and loved finding new ways to make things more efficient.

At first, Ermengard's wishes were gently turned down. But as the days became months and turned into years he kept insisting on this proposal. Soon, people began to suspect he didn't want to fight at all. It looked as if he was just going to run away at the first sight of blood. And so soon enough Ermengard was thought of as a coward, unfit to fight and unfit to be a Falco, the dynasty of great warriors. When Duke Cadwgan himself, his father, came to Ermengard with an ultimatum to join them in battle or be disowned. Ermengard chose to fight. And off they rode into battle, one that would decide the fate of the kingdom. But in the heat of combat, a melee filled with terrors abominable to the sight of men, Ermengard fled. He ran. Along with his men at a critical moment in time, he turned tail and ran like a madman across the open plain. This resulted in a humiliating defeat for the kingdom, a huge price that many had to pay with their very lives.

In the aftermath of that disaster, Ermengard was disowned in the most disgraceful manner possible for a Falco. At first, he was stripped of his titles, stripped of his weapons and armor, stripped of all the gold he carried and that was only the beginning. He was paraded like a prisoner through the streets, there he bare witness to the misery of the defeated people, the wives and children of the men who trusted in him. They threw stones and threw excrement at his face and body. They put him on a platform where they whipped his body until it was covered with blood and scars. Then he was released to the public who unleashed the full extent of their rage and sorrow day and night. And the weeks, months and years after. For the rest of his lifetime. Maybe even forever.

From that day on, Ermengard was known as the One Who Ran. No longer was he a Falco or a noble. He was known as a coward among cowards, the ultimate yellow-belly. On the street did the poor bastard lay, resolve broken, waiting to die. But he did not die. Hours passed. Miserable hours filled with complete pain. He longed for death, begged for it, but it did not come. He should have died in battle, at least that was an honorable way to go. For days, he did not stir from his agony, save for the time he spent drinking water from the rain. He could not resist the sweet water, it was like tasting heaven itself, a relief from all the hell that came with his suffering. He was dying yet death would not claim him. Death was so cruel. A week had passed and he still lived. His body still burned with that same searing pain yet Ermengard was strong enough to stand despite all odds. A miracle. A miracle he didn't waste, for he dragged himself across the stony streets, out into the grassy fields, near a flowing river with the intent to drown himself to end it all.

Ermengard nearly succeeded but his painstaking efforts were thwarted by a tomboy by the name of Ceri. She stopped him halfway then gave him an axe and told him to chop wood. And with a hint of vanity in her voice she said he better be grateful, for she was giving him a job. From the beginning, Ceri was a slavedriver, for she had no problem working a dying man to certain death. After all, she reasoned, if he was going to die anyway, he might as well be productive. He told her to go to hell. And so we bear witness to the start of an odd friendship, one where Ermengard did most of the work while Ceri offered her "sage" (insane) advice and encouragement. Ermengard thought Ceri was insane. She didn't listen to reason or clear instructions for that matter. She just went ahead to do whatever madness she was up to. (You have to see it to believe it.) She asked the most impossible things to do. It took the patience of a loving mother, the strength of a hero and the persistence of a prophet to deal with Ceri everyday. Yet for everything she's done, Ermengard still found himself stupid enough to follow her designs thus making him seem twice more foolish.

But for all her faults, Ceri was the first, and for a time the only one who stood up for Ermengard. When a man came up to Ceri and mocked her for living with the One Who Ran, she, with fury, punched him straight in the face and stepped on his balls. She looked at the man straight in the eyes and told him not to question her. Of course, when several men drew their knives Ermengard came to the rescue but he remains eternally grateful to Ceri for that. It was that moment that allowed Ermengard to believe in himself again.

For the first time in three years, he picked up a spear and practiced with it. He was out of shape, the muscle nearly gone out of him. And so he trained hard, taxing his body, calling upon the strength of his warrior spirit to awaken the Falco within him. When Ceri noticed Ermengard spending so many hours each day training with his spear, she asked him what he was up to. He answered that he simply loved the weapon ever since he was young. It took him back to a world where he still had everything. For a time, Ceri accepted this answer until Ermengard bought a horse with all sorts of arms and armor. This time, she demanded, what was Ermengard hiding. He said nothing. She said bullshit. What a fucking liar he was. He was obviously going off to fight a war!

Ceri broke down. Completely. She cried a river of tears. It was so unlike her to be like that. Never had Ermengard seen Ceri so sad, it shocked him to the core. She said, who would cut all the wood? Or do all the work? Or run the farm? Who would protect her when the bad men came? How could Ermengard be so thoughtless and so selfish? Ermengard was flabbergasted but he recovered in time to respond that he'd never leave her. He promised. Used the word "never". She didn't believe him and they fought and held each other. Then they kissed. Then they knew each other. Nine months later they had a son and named him Albrecht.

Life was happy. Unbelievably happy. It was like that for ten years. It made him forget the pain and the utter humiliation he suffered so much and for so long. And for a time, even the people around him forgot it too. Even the Falcos forgot he even existed, nobody wanted to remember a disgrace. War was still going on, raiders came onto their farm and Ermengard fought them off with the help of the local militia. Still, in spite of all odds, their farm was never disturbed by the main army of any kingdom. Ermengard considered himself exceedingly fortunate. People started calling him Erm or Ermen, instead of Ermengard, it was as if he was a different person now. He was. He was a peasant just like them after all. The life he led before was just another bad dream; a nightmare that was meant to be forgotten. He had another son, he named him Adamar, and boy he was a feisty one! He was just like his mother, always giving people trouble. But he was also as strong as a Falco, maybe even stronger than most Falcos, he had a gift that one. Life moved on, it continued as one big happy dream.

Until one day, a massive invasion took place, the number of the enemy was immense and their troops elite. Fearsome beyond belief, few thought the kingdom could withstand the onslaught of impending death. Every man in the realm was called to arms, even the boys and the elderly and even some of the older women were welcome into the ranks. Some contemplated bringing in the girls, perhaps even the babes, one joked. This time Ermengard had to leave for real, Ceri said she understood but Ermengard knew she didn't. So, he said this to her, he's not doing this for the past, he's not out to restore his honor or earn glory. He's not even doing this to save the realm, he's doing this to save her and her children and her still unborn child. Ermengard left, himself in utter disbelief, for if the rumors were true the enemy they were facing was unlike any other. It was as if it was the beginning of the end.

From day one, it was utter hell. Everyone knew who he was, he was the One Who Ran, the Coward, the Weak, the Disgrace, the Woman. They thought he wouldn't fight, everyone thought he was going to run like last time since he was the One Who Ran. After all, he was just the Coward. Nobody as Weak as him could fight. He is a Disgrace to the Falcos, no wonder they didn't want him as a son. He's not a man, he's a Woman. Hell, even the other women were more man than him. In that instant, the deep scars of his agonizing past burst open, the memories burned his mind all at once. The men who trusted him and died, the people he failed, the kingdom he destroyed, the family that loved him, the humiliation that followed overwhelmed him. He fell, sobbed, cried, and they laughed. Mocked him. And like the people he failed before, they threw excrement and stones at him, and then left him to rot on the ground.

A man came, his name was Erwin. A rather tall bloke, massive too, a little fat though. Erwin told Ermengard to get up, the army doesn't accept people that can't carry their own weight. If he couldn't even get on his feet, he was out. With his will to fight still not extinguished, Ermengard summoned all his courage to wipe away all the memories, the humiliation, the pity that weighed him down. Good, Erwin said, now I can respect you. And he said one thing that Ermengard will never forget, in life or even in the afterlife, that fear is makes us human but what makes us men is how we face it. Erwin said he did not care who Ermengard was before, but he better damn well show he could fight now. The kingdom needed all it could get, everyone, all men, even the women and children, and Erwin expected them to all fight. And from that day on, Ermengard became a soldier.

During training, Ermengard surpassed all expectations, even though they knew he was a Falco they didn't know he was this tough. They threw everything they got at him, they bashed him all over with a mace, they pelted him with blunt arrows from afar and hell they even threw the entire 50-man strong garrison at him. Ermengard just did not give up, he even beat them all at their own game by single-handedly routing the small army. All by himself. They thought it was a joke but no. This wasn't a man they were dealing with, this was something else. No longer did they think of him as a coward, instead they thought of him as a complete monster! Nobody wanted to mess with Ermengard; all feared for their lives when he stepped into a room full of well-armed guards. Ermengard thought it was a nice change of pace. Erwin couldn't believe this very recruit was sobbing like a newborn baby a few weeks back, he lived in an incredibly strange world.

And speaking of living in a strange world, a strange event happened. A recruiter by the name of Spencer Goodman came to Ermengard, telling him that Ermengard had been personally selected for the Dragon Guard, Elysium's infamous division known for fighting dangerous monsters. Ermengard immediately refused, telling the recruiter in question that he's fighting for Falcland, his home, not for the light kingdom. Disappointed, the recruiter said that if he ever changed his mind he was welcome to the Guard. There's more than one way to protect your home, Spencer said before he left.

After training, which was considerably shortened to three months, Ermengard was sent to the Army of Baron Coelho Canna for deployment. Here Ermengard stayed at the town of Cheverney (north of Kenelm), once the site of an ancient Loire city. Any moment now Elysium was expecting invasion and so was Falcland. In the meantime, Ermengard focused on training with his spear, working odd jobs for money and sometimes making friends.

There was a famous episode where Ermengard participated in a drunken brawl involving about 414 men, it was fought by the drunken Falclan soldiers, the visiting Elysian troops and the local Brithon garrison. It all started when a certain Elysian by the name of Chinon made one long rant about how Falcland would be so much better off with Luminosity. Chinon went on to talk about all the heathens still living in Falcland and what a damned nuisance they were. Always lying, thieving, concealing their true nature, they lied in wait for the chance to strike at Elysium. And yet when the Falclans fought against themselves they expected the Elysians to intervene. Chinon said the Falclans were ungrateful bastards, thieves, whores, pagans, pirates and barbarians and also greedy loan-sharks.

The Brithon garrison cheered in response to Chinon's little speech. But that was when the Army of Baron Coelho Canna lost their shit. Their anger requires a bit of explanation. Let's just say that things aren't so simple as they are on the surface. Everybody has their good reasons for being what they are. Everything said was true, but all that was left unsaid made it even more untrue. And so situations like these ought to be handled with care, not in the way that stupid Chinon said it all!

All the Falclan soldiers in the tavern stood as one, headed right for Chinon until they were stopped by the Elysians and Brithons. Insults were hurled, chairs were thrown, feelings were hurt and a massive brawl ensued. It lasted for an hour and spread wildly all across the town, with the local townsfolk joining in all sides of the fight. It was said that even a dwarf from Oshus got into the fight. His reason? He just wanted to get his blood running. The fight ended when the Graal knights just nearby were informed of the dispute and so they rode into town, crashing straight into the little drunken shits and rounding them all up. Ermengard was among them.

At dawn, their punishments were made known to them. Baron Rodrick Rochers, who was present at the time, said that the Army of Coelho Canna was to be decimated. That meant that their own army had to kill about a tenth of their men, with either their bare hands or whatever weapon they had. A horrifying conviction. And so, they selected one man for every ten of them. They made ready their daggers and knives. And just when they were about to strike a message from Duke Cadwgan Falco himself arrived by air, it said the the following words: These men are not to be harmed. Should any one of them be even touched, I will personally ride there with my army and kill everyone there. No exceptions.

And at the very bottom of the page was found the mark of the Falcos.

Stop! Cried Rochers. Knowing that the Duke Falco was serious in his threat, Baron Rochers ordered the release of all these men. Ermengard and his comrades felt an immense wave of relief. For the past two weeks, the soldiers were confined to their camp, not allowed to even go near Cheverney as they were banned by the mayor, Eglise, forever. Finally, news reached them, it seemed like the Duke of Falcland and the King of Elysium had a disagreement over the treatment of the brawlers. Duke Falco wanted to let them go at all costs while the King demanded a serious punishment. There were a lot of spats but it seemed that it was going nowhere, and it did go nowhere. They did find out what happened to Chinon, the Elysian soldiers and the Brithon garrison. Apparently, they were let go too, and so everything was fine as far as everyone was concerned.

Just when Ermengard and his brothers-in-arms thought they were out of trouble, they came right under the command of Count Rodrick Rochers himself. More armies, numbering 3000 in total, came to the plain of Cheverney and merged with Baron Coelho Canna's army. They were to practice battle formations together for the coming invasion. The Count did not go easy on Ermengard and his fellows, drilling them with the greatest intensity, to punish them for their arrogance. They were starved of rations, made to comply with the most grievous orders, and basically experienced a life of hellfire. This training did not make them model soldiers but it did accustom them to pain and the whole misery of army life. It broke some poor fellows who were cast aside to live out the rest of their lives as beggars, it seems. Lucky bastards, thought the rest of the army.

The invasion did take place and the Falclans were prepared for it. Or at least they thought they were. It turned out the enemy threw everything he had at Falcland, overwhelming most of the local defenses and militias. Nobody expected this, they thought the fortifications would hold out for months as they did in the past. Several other armies had engaged the enemy in battle but they were soundly defeated. Ermengard's army, the Army of Count Rochers, was to regroup with Duke Cadwgan Falco's army in the border near Elysium where they were to make their final stand. A forced march took place, where everybody had to walk, with no breaks at a crippling speed, one that left at least 20% of the men behind. There was simply no time left to waste before the invaders caught up to them. Word reached them that the enemy was literally right behind them just about 50 kilometers away. Those who failed to keep up pace had to hide somewhere or get captured. And capture, which was seen as dishonorable, meant punishment or death.

Under brutal conditions did the Army of Rochers reach the Ducal Army, where they gathered to stop the invaders from entering Elysium. Most of Falcland had already been overrun but resistance was intense as it had been since ancient times. This caused numerous delays for the speedy foe but also it sparked an equally huge number of reprisals, with thousands perishing by sword and fire. Immediately, the Duke Cadwgan Falco rode to Count Rochers and made them take place in the left wing of the main army, where they were to stay with troops from Auchindrain, Kenelm and Lahelein. It was a sight to see, the men of Auchaindrain were sturdy swordsmen and polearmsmen that traveled all over the world, the men of Kenelm good archers and slingers and the men of Lahelein some of the best ranged cavalry armed with bows, crossbows and even guns. On the right wing of the Ducal Army were the men from Bute and Evrawc. The men of Bute had a crushing cavalry charge while the men of Evrawc were great skirmishers and determined melee fighters. And in the center were the men of Avalonia, the duchy's best armed and trained infantry and cavalry. Several mercenary units also took part in the battle and they supplemented their numbers. Elysian mages were also present, ready to give aid. In the morning sky were winged angels, it was said, and several men flying in winged horses too. They acted as scouts, aerial reconnaissance.

When the invaders came, everyone knew what to do. They formed up in battle and just barely before the enemy pelted them with arrows and stones. The Ducal Army responded in kind with a barrage of arrows of their own and blasts of light magic. It had been like that for four hours, with nothing much else happening. Eventually, the Ducal Army retired to their fortified camp while the invading army constructed a camp of their own. Both sides played for time, waiting for an opportunity to strike, all the while making raids and firing volleys of arrows and magics at each other. In the next day, Lahelein's Dusk Riders made another daring raid against the invaders, cutting off their supply train but not without suffering plenty of casualties. This would force the enemy to fight, preferably under favorable conditions for the Ducal Army.

It was in second day that the enemy finally made their move. Under the cover of night the enemy skillfully made it past the sentries and attacked the main army as it lay sleeping in their fortified camp. Quickly all the men rose to battle and when they woke they saw all the enemy rushing towards them. Everyone reported to their units and were determined to make one final stand. The gates broke when a huge rock fell upon it, hordes of invaders poured in, Ermengard and his men fought to close the gap. An endless stream of foreign invaders came in, numerous, everywhere, all at once shouting war cries. Ermengard's formation stood firm in the face of the enemy and even pushed them back. But when huge stones fell upon them, crushing the armored soldiers, that was when Ermengard's unit started to show strain under all the pressure.

If that was not bad enough, the whole situation got worse when some of the walls got torn down as well, forcing other units to cover those gaps. Just when Ermengard's unit broke, slowly withdrawing back to the base as most of them were already slaughtering another friendly unit came to their aid. And when they were forced to retreat another came and another and another. Throughout the night then throughout the day and the next day the fighting was nonstop, the enemy was desperate to win for time was not on his side anymore. Huge casualties were sustained on both sides and now it was not a battle for victory or defeat anymore, it was just one fought for survival.

Ermengard, as the only surviving soldier showing tremendous capability, was promoted to captain of a company. Leadership of men was given to him as well as big responsibilities and headaches. Things he didn't want to face when he was younger. His first mission was to stage a major counterattack on an overrun position, he was assigned infantrymen, heavy cavalry, archers, slingers and mages. Ermengard applied the standard tactics, he bombarded the enemy with ranged weapons, smashed the enemy with an infantry charge and finished them off with a cavalry charge. And when he routed the enemy, they prepared a counterattacked and they fought just twenty minutes later. After slaying many enemies and somehow managing to stay alive, another counterattack came and it was just endless. Most of his men were wiped out, but they held firm, preferring to die an honorable death than living a life of shame. With only several of his men around, Ermengard held this position, determined to live to see his family again and not suffer death like his comrades.

He fought, his men died, he survived. More of the enemy came, he fought and he survived. Stones flew, arrows fell on him, impossible odds and yet he stood. The enemy gave up at last, the fight against Ermengard gave rise to a rumor of a monster in the Ducal Army that feasted on the flesh of both man and beast.

The battle still raged for two more days, with neither side showing signs of giving up. Already the corpses of men were beginning to stink so Ermengard used the last energy he had remaining to bury at least one of his comrades, Erwin, who believed in him since the start. Count Rochers noticed that Ermengard was exhausted, so he rotated his troops to the rear, where they were to guard the supply lines. But even there there was no rest, enemy cavalry attacked the supply wagons, forcing Ermengard to use a crossbow, a weapon he barely used. It was a short fight that barely lasted ten minutes, the enemy broke off again, leaving the rest of Ermengard's company to lick their wounds.

When Ermengard reached the front lines, an officer by the name of Saulie screamed at him, telling him to get in battle formation now. Dropping everything, they merged with the main army, only to find that the enemy crashed straight into them. The main battle had begun! All of the invaders were just in front of them, hacking away at their comrades. Ermengard was stationed in the rear of the line, they waited and waited for their turn, the line grew distressingly thinner until they were rotated to the front and it was their time to fight. For the rest of the morning, both sides held firm, the Falclans showing their great discipline and training that matched the enemy's great skill and magical power. Every now and then, a stone fell in the middle of the line, while a beam of light hit the enemy.

Eventually, the enemy started to crack in mid-day, finally having enough of the relentless pressure. The Falclans stood firm, again, neither advancing nor retreating, never giving an inch. When the entire enemy army started to flee that was when the Ducal Army gave chase, being constantly delayed by skirmishers that stayed to harass them. They were quickly dispatched by the Lahelein Dusk Riders, who made short work of them with their superior speed. News reached of them of another victory by the main Elysian army, which halted another invading army in its tracts, the tide of the war had changed.

For a month now, the Falclans watched as their territories were being taken away from them. Now they had to win it back. Falcland was mostly occupied and the enemy wanted to withdraw unscathed. Nobody was going to have any of it. The Falclans attacked, liberating their old territories, and with the help of the Elysians, they inflicted defeat after defeat upon the invaders, destroying enemy fortifications and armies.

There was a curious little event in the the recently liberated village of Conghail (located in Evrawc). The local villagers welcomed the Falclans with flowers, ladies kissing troops right in the mouth, spoiling them with tons of food and drink. It was one of the few times that the army was allowed to relax. Ermengard crashed straight into a big castle, the local magistrates making him feel home there, they were called the Rosens. One of their daughters, Elena Rosen, a young blond with a body to die for constantly flirted with Ermengard, teasing him, always drawing him to temptation. He was flattered of course, but a few times he felt his heart flutter. Ermengard always excused himself, running away when he thought things were going quite too far.

But there was one close call. In the middle of the night, when Ermengard was sleeping, he suddenly felt something nice beside him. Soft, gentle, heavenly, yet it was the strongest thing he felt in the universe. A surge of lightning flowed in him, it made him feel alive. When he turned to see who made him feel this way it was none other than Elena, stark naked, pale as a ghost yet mysteriously beautiful. She had the most golden hair. The most glowing blue eyes. And she kissed him but Ermengard would have NONE OF IT! He sprang to his feet and ran for the door but it was locked, LOCKED. He found the window shut. But it was no matter. Steeling himself for what was to come, he charged straight towards the window, all the while Elena was pressing herself against him (he pushed her back of course right in the tits) and fell three stories down. He rolled down with the greatest skill then crashed against a tree with his back and he lay injured for the better part of the week. Some thought Ermengard was going to die. They felt sorry for him, a man that had got cut all over, crushed with stones and all had to die all because of a little fall. But what wounds he sustained, Ermengard said, was better than giving in to sin and infidelity. So, in the face of a beautiful woman before him and the beast within him, he remained strong.

Ermengard called it the most dangerous time of his life, out of all the battles he fought, this one was the hardest.

But in the end, he survived.

If there was a second hardest battle he fought, it was the last battle he fought at the end of the invasion. He stood in the center of the Ducal Army, just beside Duke Cadwgan Falco himself, haven proven himself so many times in battle before. He fought until the end, until the end of so many other men, who died beside him, in front of him and behind him. All across there were so many bodies, of men who had families, of men who fought for Falcland and what it is. The enemy had finally learned what Falcland was, it was a beautiful land, a dangerous land, filled with beautiful and dangerous people that lived and died for it. And so they themselves, in a way, became Falclans. And they paid their full respects to this land by dying in battle themselves, in one final battle to end it all.

In the end, Ermengard redeemed himself. He lived when so many others died. He lived to show others that even a coward that ran away in battle could die like the rest of them. And so he inspired a generation of men, women and children, who didn't fight in that invasion, to fight them in future conflicts. His father, Duke Cadwgan Falco, escaped to Oceanius where he lives in exile with his surviving sons, daughters and grandchildren. For five years now, Elysium has appointed Ermengard the Duke of Falcland, he wields power and more importantly a great legacy, one that spans two thousand years, some say even further back than that.

Falcland, for all its violence is not a place where people die. It is a place where people live. Even in the midst of all wars, all battles, the constant threat of invasion, Falcland endures, where many die, many are born in their place. A Falclan, while determined to die an honorable death, is even more determined to live an honorable life. And so Falcland prospers, in a world that seeks to destroy them, for thousands of years they remain strong and will remain strong. Forever.

To the men, women and children who died in the invasion.
To honor your sacrifice.
We live for you.
And for the people who are to live in the future.
We die for you.
That is what it means to be a Falclan.
To live.
And to die.
Together.

Name: Alto Hamilton Une

Age: 14/15

Gender: Male

Species/Race: Mountain Fae

Kingdom of Origin: Oceanius Empire

Abilities:
Ice Manipulation - The ability to form, control, and manipulate ice. A higher level of focus is required compared to Water Manipulation.
Water Manipulation - The ability to control water and freely manipulate it into whatever shape or tool the mage can think up.
Enhanced strength - Perhaps a blessing passed down from the Primals, those of the Imperial Royal Family tend to have near superhuman levels of strength. Hamilton tends to break the wrists of people he finds repulsive by giving it a simple twist.
Bindfrost - A much more focused version of ice manipulation where the caster can freeze objects or living beings in place in a thin but steel-hard ice glaze. One touch is enough for Hamilton to freeze a person into place.
Whiteout - A form of weather manipulation, Hamilton is able to induce sudden snowfall and cause whiteout conditions. Effective for escaping and disorientating targets.
Soothing Waters - The standard spell used by healers. Imbudes a small amount of water with magic for healing purposes.
Ice Armour - Manifest a complete set of ice armour around the user. Thick enough to deflect projectiles and weapon strikes while being able to continuously repair damage using the surrounding moisture.
Skilled spearman - While his mother is a swordswoman first, Hamilton decided to focus on polearms when it comes to melee weaponry. His skill is almost on par with his instructor, Sir Bors, and he strives to surpass him one day.
Tactician - Much like his mother, Hamilton was tutored in the art of warfare. Being the Imperial Heir, it is a must for him to learn how to command his future army and ensure victory.
Omniglot - While Patricia is fluent in all the languages used within Oceanius (Anglo, Rylethian, Old Anglic), Hamilton went the extra mile to learn the language of other countries. Being able to be his own interpreter out of some justified paranoia.
Marksman - Skilled with bolters, bows, and even throwing knives. Hamilton extensively trained in marksmanship as a safety net and to better prepare himself for war.

Personality:
Hamilton is a quiet and observant person. Unlike his mother whose silence can be deafening and overwhelming, he exudes an aura of deliberation. A thinker and a natural explorer, he's also a bookish person whose curiosity leads him to wanting to know more. Even learning things he knows that he shouldn't. When it comes to interacting with others, he puts up a polite and neutral tone but he does visibly relax and lower his guard around family and trusted friends.

History/Bio:
The firstborn son of then Crown Princess Patricia, Hamilton was raised to be the heir to the throne even before his mother rose to the position of Empress. His early days was full of love and joy, surrounded by family and friends. The young Prince lived in the Wallachian Imperial Chateau for a significant portion of his early childhood prior to moving to the Imperial Palace in Markovia at the age of 10. It was then when he began his studies and training, being labled a genius for completing his studies within 6 months.

As he grew older, he was tutored on the fine details of running a country and fulfilling the needs of its people. In addition, he often went for incognito walks in the city in an attempt to see things from a different perspective. The walks all stopped when Patricia found out of course and he ended up going semi-incognito with the fact that he had Blackscales flanking his every move. Not that he minded as he started learning how to evade his own bodyguards. At his current age, Hamilton is approaching adulthood and will soon be given command of his first soldiers as a test.

One that might see his ambitions true.

Job: Crown Prince of Oceanius, Blackscale Overseer

Weapons/Armor:
Herja - Hamilton's personal polearm, a birthday gift from a family friend living in Ryleth. The wave-like pattern on its blade gives it a sense of elegence while the alloy used makes it a good conductor of water magic.
Mist - Hamilton's personal arbalest, fine-tuned to focus more on accuracy than fire rate. Its machined to be accurate up to 500m and its smaller than most arbalests, making it easy to use while on a hippogryph.

Other:
-Learned how to play the violin at a young age. Occasionally plays it on a whim or when relaxing with his family.
-Knows more about his family's secret history than he lets on. Such as the murder of his grandmother and the background of some of the family's retainers.
-Hamilton has a passion for painting and mostly paints landscapes. He has sketched portraits of his family and people he feels close to.
-His favorite food is honeycake while his favorite drink is coffee.

Charles Magnus Bertholdt-Wælcyrie
Hippogryph Whisperer
2.jpg

  • Age: 12/13

    Gender: M

    Species/Race: Halfling (Half-Elf and Half-Human)

    Kingdom of Origin: Oceanius

    Abilities:
Half-Elven Blood / Hippogryph Whisperer - Being born to a Half-elven and Human parents, his blood ties allow him to connect with nature, due to his fondness for Hippogryphs and training at a young age in due thanks to his father, he has able to grasp of knowledge on it and allows him to commune with the Hippogryphs.

Multilingual - Charles studied Anglo, Rylethian, Old Anglic when he was learning and currently he is studying Elysian through his mother and tutors that know the language.

Natural-born Hippogryph Rider - His introduction to Hippogryph riding at an early age helped him to be well accommodated to Hippogryph riding and his love for flying grew to the point his father believed that he was born to soar to the deep dark blue skies. This resulted in his rather natural Hippogryph Flying skills despite of his age.

Affinity for Lances - His training with the Hippogryph riding with his father allowed him to experiment with what kind of melee weapon he would pick, and he picked the Lance, training with it almost extensively along side with the Bolter.

Marksman - Just like his sister and his mother, Charles was a natural in using the bolter in ranged combat even in moving platforms such as the hovering stationary hippogryph or a moving one, he has managed to get the bolt of the bolter on target.

Extraordinary strength - Inherited from his mother, He sometimes think that this is a curse as he underestimate his strength from time to time and unknowingly causing some damage on some delicate work by even applying just a bit much force. However this strength he has helped him in riding Hippogryphs to withstand the Gs he gets from the agility of the Hippogryphs.

G-Force Tolerant - This stemmed from his extraordinary strength. Allowing him to withstand the forces that can be felt when maneuvering the Hippogryphs.

    Personality:
Charles is a sincere young man who seems like the embodiment of chivalry, but has a love for flying daredevil antics just like his father underneath his cheerful demeanor. Despite being a noble, he dislikes formality, preferring his friends to be frank. He has a strange sense of humor, which is evident by his fondness for Princess Jacelyn's jokes. By his own admission, he finds them humorous precisely because they are terrible. His personality is nearly identical to his father. He enjoys combat training, weapon repair, Hippogryph flying, Hippogryph bonding and long rides but dislikes fragile objects and delicate work as he is unable to control his prodigious strength.

He has a penchant of taming Hippogryphs and has a love for animals.

History/Bio: The first legitimate son of the Overseer Sigridrifa Wælcyrie of Schwarze Company, the young lad was introduced to Hippogryph riding at an early age by his father and supported by his mother, as a result Charles is one of the youngest of the Aerial Squires serving in Oceanius. He is also the childhood friend of Princess Jacelyn Une since the rescue of Jacelyn's little pet pygmy Hippogryph. Since then, the two has been inseparable since with Jacelyn constantly dragging him to the Rose Wing of the Royal Palace where they play, chat and relax.

Name: Atra Jacelyn Une

Age: 12/13

Gender: Female

Species/Race: Mountain Fae

Kingdom of Origin: Oceanius Empire

Abilities:
Ice Manipulation - The ability to form, control, and manipulate ice. A higher level of focus is required compared to Water Manipulation.
Water Manipulation - The ability to control water and freely manipulate it into whatever shape or tool the mage can think up.
Enhanced strength - Perhaps a blessing passed down from the Primals, those of the Imperial Royal Family tend to have near superhuman levels of strength. Jacelyn displays a preference for wielding poleaxes and swings them with the ease of swinging a stick.
Blackfrost - A rare form of ice manipulation. It allows the user to conjure black ice that doesn't melt from heat and inflicts a burning sensation on its targets. The drawback is the caster's limbs suffering from frostbite if overused. That and the presense of "A Voice" along with increased sociopathy and cruelty in its casters lead to Blackfrost being seen as a curse than a gift. Some scholars think this is due to a forgotten Curse from the people misusing Ice Magic. In Jacelyn's case, she's aware of her "other voice" but actively ignores it after it almost lead to her freezing her pet pygmy hippogryph to death.
Healing Spring - A larger scale version of a healer's Soothing Waters ability. Jacelyn is able to heal a group of casualties by summoning a pool of healing water. Much like her mother.
Healing Touch - A much more focused version of Soothing Waters, this directs all the healing magic onto one spot. Cuts heal almost immediately and broken bones mend themselves within minutes. Using the Healing Touch drained Jacelyn significantly to the point she can only do it 3 times before collapsing from exhaustion.
Pollaxe trained - Like most Nobles and Royals in Oceanius, Jacelyn learns a form of martial combat. While her mother is elegent with a sword and her brother is a prodigy with a spear, Jacelyn shows promise in the use of the pollaxe. Much to the surprise of almost everyone, she's shown to be rather skilled with one.
Eidetic memory - While her brother is hailed as a genius, Jacelyn is more known for remembering almost everything she learns. She has been able to recall readings and events that happened around her since the age of 3 with surprising clarity. Both good things and the more... unpleasant ones she had the misfortune of witnessing.

Personality:
Jacelyn is a bright, bubbly, and overall friendly girl. Typical for her age, her interests lie in whatever catches her fancy at that particular moment but she loves spending time with friends and loved ones the most. Despite the constant attention and how much she was basically spoiled by her family and friends, Jacelyn is still polite and generally well-behaved. This comes from her admiration and desire to emulate her "seemingly perfect" older brother. That and fearing any punishment coming from the Empress. On the other hand, she, like most born with the ability of the Blackfrost, is well-aware of the Other Voice and is constantly ignoring its malicious whispers with a bright smile.

History/Bio:
The secondborn child of then Crown Princess Patricia, Jacelyn was raised slightly differently from her brother. Being the 2nd in line to the throne, she wasn't raised as a potential heir but rather as an aide and a diplomat. Her early childhood days were spent mostly playing with her friends and pranking the servants. Even after moving to the Imperial Palace. Much like her brother, she began her studies at the age of 10 but unlike her brother, she took 2 years to complete it. Patricia was secretly relieved that she wasn't a genius when she noticed.

It was during her magic lessons that her ability to manifest the Blackfrost was discovered, awakening the Other Voice. Its whispers and suggestions interested the young girl at first, thinking it was another one of her imaginary friends. Then its suggestions turned into commands. It latched onto every negative experience she had and tried to push her to doing sadistic acts for its enjoyment. Jacelyn stopped listening after it almost caused an incident. Shaken by the experience, Jacelyn decided to keep it a secret and actively ignored the Voice. Almost a year has passed and Jacelyn has begun weapon training as part of ther Diplomacy training. With fresh spirits and an eagerness to improve, she strives to support her family and the Empire.

Only time will reveal if she stays on this path.

Job: 1st Princess of Oceanius, Potential Scholar and Diplomat

Appearance:
599.jpg

Weapons/Armor:
Liebeling - Jacelyn's personal training pollaxe. Made with the finest oak, cured in an armoury chimney for 2 years and finished with kraken oil. This shiny ebony training poleaxe is hard enough to resist blows from metal swords and can even dent simple plate armour. For training, the mock axe head is covered in wool and leather to cushion blows. It helps. A little.
Gnade - A finely crafted hunting dagger given to her on her 10th birthday. The blade is inscribed with her name on one side with the other side inscribed with the word "WILL" in Old Anglic text.

Other:
-Her favourite food are muffins and her favourite drink is black tea with honey.
-The Incident with the Other Voice almost lead to her harming her pet pygmy hippogryph. Its whispers have quietened ever since she started ignoring it.
-While her brother does painting and knows how to play the violin. Jacelyn picked up pottery and took singing lessons. While decent at singing, her pottery needs work before her teacher lets her use a klin.
-She keeps in touch with her old friends in Wallachia via messenger raven. Her personal raven is a somewhat clumsy female named Frisk.

Baron Adamar Falco
Heir to the Duchy of Falcland

Age: 18.

Gender: Male.

Species/Race: Human.

Kingdom of Origin: Elysium.

Abilities:

Warrior: Trained to fight with every weapon known to man, Adamar can crush his enemies with a hammer, stab them with a spear or dagger, slice them with a sword or an axe. He can break you with stones, he can fling arrows at you, he can even beat you to death with only his bare hands. He shows no preference for any weapon, he simply uses what he has. As an intelligent fighter, he knows well the angles of attack, he can dodge a blow or two and make a feint to distract his enemy. While he does not display a mastery of any martial art, he is still a fearsome opponent to face on the battlefield.

Wild Strength: Give Adamar a stone and he can crush it into fine dust. He can plow the soil as well as any horse and ox. He can punch your face with the force of a mace, break bones by stepping on your toes, push you aside by crashing straight into you. He can jump high, duck low, crawl fast all with swiftness of feet and strength of arm.

Novice Farmer: Like his father before him, he can plow the soil and plant crop as well as take care of farm animals. But his education in agriculture is incomplete and so he is prone to making many mistakes.

Decent Survivalist: Toss this man out in the wild for two weeks and he'll make himself feel like home. He knows what can be eaten, he knows how to hunt, fish, forage, plant crop and where to find all the food. He can construct simple shelters of wood, mud and straw, shielding him from the elements. And with a knife and axe, he can make fences, craft rafts and even make simple stone tools. Given enough time and with the proper equipment, Adamar can get used to life anywhere, having only trouble in wintertime and having a hell of a time living in the desert.

Inexperienced Officer: He is a complete newbie when it comes to leading the troops. Time will tell whether he is up to the task or if he will be another failure.

Personality:

Handling Adamar is much like handling fire. If you're not careful, Adamar can go wild and make things spiral out of control. He starts fights and ends them and gets into big trouble. He'll go on an adventure without telling anyone, arriving back home only days later, making everyone worried or furious. And woe to anyone that crosses him and his gang, for they are a group of boys that are quite strong, dumb and bored. A dangerous combination, as they will often invent any excuse to cause mischief, whether they get into a brawl or spend time mocking authority or explore the mysteries of the fairer sex they will do it with vigor. Because of this, Duke Ermengard is always strict with his boy Adamar, being ready to whack him with a stick or punch him in the gut the instant he gets out of line. Sometimes Ermengard's punishments even seem brutal to outside observers, but if you know Adamar, you know that what's being done is not enough.

In an attempt to keep Adamar preoccupied he is constantly assigned tasks that he must complete or be locked up in the dungeon. These tasks include finishing his military education, paying visits to the nobility or hosting events withing the Duchy. Sometimes, Adamar will even entertain foreign visitors that come to Llandogo. And every year, Adamar goes touring around Elysium, to see the country or take a trip to one of their cities. And occasionally, Ermengard will give Adamar one of those odd jobs, where he's supposed to take in secret messages and deliver them to the right people. Other times, Adamar is sent to learn falconing or farming or do anything the peasants do as Ermengard always always reminds Adamar to never forget his roots.

Not that Adamar ever forgot it. He still remembers his childhood as if it was only yesterday. When he was still a peasant kid, a nobody with no name, but free from responsibility. He can remember his old playmates, the boys and girls he called friends forever. He meets them often and talk with them, but its not the same now that he's the Duke's son. Adamar never forgot the people who helped him during the war and people never forgot what he did. When they fought against Oceanius everybody stood up for each other, that was how it worked. Those were terrible times to live in. Times that could come back anytime soon if another war came. And while Adamar will never admit it out in the open, he is scared as hell. So, to forget the terror he lived in the past, sometimes he has to do something stupid every once in a while. Just to relive his old childhood, a world without war.

History/Bio:

Imagine living in absolute freedom with nothing to worry about. You're free from responsibility yet in your hands you hold the whole world in your hands, the world is your oyster so to speak. The future, however bleak at times, is bright, shining bright, everything you could possibly ask for is already provided for you. And you don't want to ask for anything else. You're content. You're happy beyond belief.

Now imagine being placed at the center of the world's attention, with fear gripping your skin and heart, your every move watched by all and beyond. Your freedom replaced with great power and responsibility, an awesome thing to behold, yet it is something you only reluctantly accept. And suddenly the world, your little world, becomes vastly bigger to the point you can't quite comprehend what it is anymore. Now imagine that happening every second you breathe, imagine everything weighing you down, every mistake you make visible to all. The terror starts to sink in, that invisible thing that grips our hearts.

That's what it was like for Adamar Falco the first time he found out he was the son of Duke Ermengard Falco, the man who Adamar only knew as his father, the one that plowed the fields just like all the other farmers, followed orders like any other peasant, fought like any other soldier. Nobody in the family, except his mother Ceri, knew that Ermengard was nobility. The world had gone upside down. Suddenly, Adamar had tutors, day and night they drilled lessons into him, trying to make up for the lost time he spent as a peasant kid. Within four years, his hasty education was complete and his teachers were proud of the product they made, Adamar who knew every little thing a Falco should know.

In that time, his older brother Albrecht died in a carriage accident, it was the one death that shocked the whole family. The driver, who survived, was immediately imprisoned. The Falcos mourned deeply, for Albrecht was the one that stepped in father's big shoes when they needed filling. Now it was Adamar's turn to take responsibility, a heavy duty he didn't think he'd ever take. Sometimes, whenever the burden of being the heir to Falcland weighed heavily on Adamar, he'd look up and talk to his older brother Albrecht and complain. And cry. For this wasn't something he wanted or thought was capable of doing, Albrecht took care of everything, now Adamar had to clean after him. After all the times Adamar made a mess of things, Albrecht just had to have the last laugh, didn't he? Adamar missed his brother.

Time flew fast, his world was a blur, he could barely recall the troubles he caused. His teachers beat him with the birch frequently, for they believed in harsh discipline, and it worked on Adamar like a charm. In the late mornings or early afternoons he'd go out and practice with the soldiers in the training grounds, where they taught him how to use every weapon. Even showed him how to use a gun, those flintlock things Oshus and Akahdia made. Nobody knew how they built them though, the secret remained intact. Adamar's friends were none other than his father's bodyguard, Gervas and Gero Swifthand, both took the time to teach him how to fight. And they told stories of their own lives, but never talked about the war, everybody knew what the war was like but it wasn't something comfortable to remember. It was only brought up in a need-to-know basis.

On Adamar's 17th birthday he was up for a surprise, he was given two estates, two baronies to run for his father. That was one of the heaviest responsibilities one could take, for each barony was like a town that had an army of its own. It was like having to run two small countries. And that wasn't all, Adamar had to marry the daughter of a prominent noble family from Lahelein, a busybody named Eilish Haul. Adamar never got along with her, she screamed surprise and terror whenever her demands weren't met. She must have her own kingdom, so Adamar always called Eilish 'princess' or 'your highness' or when he was in a sour mood 'banshee' because she hated being called that. In spite of this, Adamar did manage to belt one in her on their wedding night, and so nine months later Adamar became a father of two girls, Wanda and Wilma.

Adamar is now 18, a baron of two estates, a father of two with a wife as loud as two people screaming at once. He has seen much in his life and will see more to come. If he dies, the responsibility of running the Duchy will fall to his younger brother, Arminius Falco, who takes things more seriously than Adamar. And if he too should die, Achim Falco, still a young kid, will inherit the Duchy. And if he too should die, the daughter, Albina Falco will take over. And if she too should die, the Duchy will pass on to their uncle and their children. And if they too should die, their next uncles and children. And if they too should die, their aunts and children will inherit. And if they too should die, their remaining relatives in Falcland will inherit. And if they too shall die, their relatives outside of Falcland will inherit. And if they too shall die, they shall determine who has the blood of a Falco in them, and let them run the Duchy. And if they too shall die, they will look into the bloodlines of the Old Falcos and let them run the Duchy. And if they too shall die, the Duchy will be inherited by the King and Queen of Elysium and their children and their children's children. The estimated number of Falcos around 800, if you add in their cadet branches you add 3000, while those carrying the blood of the Falcos number in the ten thousands.

Job: Baron of Mullach (Avalonia), Baron of Odhar (Bute).

Appearance:

Name:
Bella Rubdich De'Lexington

Reaper of Souls

Age:
19

Gender:
Female

Species/Race:
Archdemon

Kingdom of Origin:
The Broken Legion

Abilities:

Fire Manipulation - Bella is able to manipulate fire freely that is entirely created by herself. She can use this in multiple ways, to set areas like Villages, or Forests on fire. As well as use different sizes of flame to use as a projectile. Bella can also use fire to fly, due to her tattered wings she can use the flames to fill her wings and make them whole. Weapons can also be created from these flames, followed by armor. The intensity of the flames is all determined by Bella, the hotter it burns, the more energy it uses up.

Blazing presence- Bella can quickly heat the air to temperatures that can cause fainting, dehydration and even death in prolonged exposure. She can also flash heat the air and cause a heat stroke in most people.

Suntouched- With enough concentration and time, a touch can vaporize the average person. Leaving nothing behind in the process.

Ifrit - Bella can create a golem of flame that will take any command given.

Immolation- Bella can wreath herself in hellfire, making it almost impossible to look at her or approach. Bella's footsteps can melt the earth beneath her feet and all surroundings will begin to melt or combust (depending on material). This ability is used when she is cornered or trapped, due to the insanely high energy cost and possibility for self harm. A last resort ability.

Shadow Manipulation - Due to her father's abilities, she was able to gather some of her own, with these shadows, she's able to travel, create tendrils/chains/threads for binding, and hop into specific peoples shadows for easy killings. These abilities are used most for her assassinations. They prove quite useful.

Demon Lord's Will - Bella -Just like her father- is able to override other's will with her own. Forcing others around her to obey or make them stop what they are doing at that very moment. In order to avoid such power, having a strong sense of will resist the influence.

Shadow Artillery - This allows Bella to create a bow made of shadows. With enough power, she is able to have the most accurate and most preicioned shot she could have. The more power put into this ability, the further her shot can go, the more accurate she is.

Soul Corruption - Shadows emit from Bella's fingertips, making their way up to the enemy and infesting themselves in through the Nose, Mouth, and eyes. Destroying every vital organ from the inside out. Crushing and snapping anything within the body till they're nothing but a shriveled up corpse.

The Executioner - The blade of a scythe protrudes from both of her arms, allowing her to attack her enemy with swift and easy movement. These blades can both curve outward and inward at will. Giving her advantages such as holding a person hostage or beheading. Great for slicing and dicing!

Personality:
Bella's personality varies, depending what she's doing, who she's around. Around her family, she's very relaxed, daring, challenging, but also very loving and caring toward them. She's also the occasional rebel and likes to take Noblesse out to places she's never been. She loves to also go on adventures, especially with her older sister. Speaking of, with Noblesse, Bella is very open, girly, and shares a strong bond with her. She could never ask for a better sister. When it comes to being out in the public eye, Bella tries to be more Mysterious, Serious, as well as closed off. She does her best to hide her identity due to many wanting her head for executing their bosses, or something to that nature. While going on her missions, she's deadly, has no remorse, is severely focused on her objective. If anyone decides to step in, they either die, or they're put into a sleep for a little while. When it comes to love, its unexplored territory. Bella never thought to fall in love, she never experienced it. It's foreign to her, and something she did not want to experience due to the amount of weakness it could give her. She isnt sure if she could even love, being a killer and all.

History/Bio:
Bella is the product of Sophia and Deshwitat, two powerful demons to create a powerful child. Growing up as a child, she was taught how to control her powers, and grow up with her older sister, Noblesse. As a young demon, all Bella could do was follow Noblesse around like a little duck, always wondering what her older sister was doing. The personality she held was so happy, so bubbly, and was always so cheery. Nothing could get her down, no matter what. She saw the good in others and was always so pure and innocent. She had memories with her parents, but because she hung around her older sister, she had plenty. Like the one time she tried to bake with her, and managed to make a mess of the flour. Their goal was to make pastries and cookies, but due to them both being so young, it was difficult. They kind of burned some and made the kitchen an absolute mess. Without Sophia's help, the kitchen would have never been cleaned properly. Then another memory was when she played hide and seek with Noblesse, only to accidentally use her abilities and go into a shadow. Desh getting Bella out was definitely a silly task to do. The young demon had a decently nice life with her family. Growing up into a mature woman with her sister and picking up the skills of an assassin. Becoming both her father's personal assassin, as well as Noblesses protector and assassin. She may not be home as often, but she's creating a better life for herself, preparing herself for anything that comes her and her family's way. Gaining more skill and experience as time goes on.
