Under One Roof

Noel judged from the loud female voices downstairs that he definitely wasn't going to get any sleep, shrugging on some clothes he decided to search around the house and gain his bearings. Hands in pockets he went through the different rooms taking notes of what was here and what was there.

Fae shrugged. "I don't see why not, mate. It's a nice room." She set down Hansel's bags, thinking Dammit. I said "mate" again. Still not helping the Australian stereotypes.

She looked over to Ashlee. "And I'm Fae. Thanks for helping. Ya' need help with your stuff?" She asked, nodding towards Ashlee's things.

Hansel perked up and smiled at the two girls, seeing Noel coming out of his room out of the corner out her eye and decided not to comment, he wanted to be left alone obviously. He made eye contact with her and she quickly looked at Ashlee. "I'll help you too! I-If you need help I mean..." she muttered, grinning nervously and looking away.

"No problem," Ash said as she dropped the bag on the floor of Hansel's room. "Naw, I'm good, but thanks." Ashlee looked further down the hallway and saw the long-haired guy walking through the rooms. She walked down the hall and looked in different rooms. One of them had a high window over the wall against which lay a twin bed with bright red sheets covering it. A small dresser huddled in the opposite corner, and against the wall next to the door was a simple desk with a wooden chair. Looking back to Fae and Hansel, Ashlee asked, "Can I have this one? It's not taken yet, right?"

Fae nodded. "Don't need to ask me, mate. Just take it." She looked to both of the girls, smiling softly. She thumbed in the direction of her room. "My room's right there, if you need anything, I guess. You might want to ask Melly, though. This is HER house. She was downstairs on the couch, last time I saw her."

With that said, she went to her room and shut the door. Fae then proceeded to finish tuning her guitar, followed by the act of strumming and singing to herself softly. She didn't want to be too loud; although she had been told multiple times that she had an amazing singing voice, she didn't want to disturb anyone else.

Noel walked behind Fae and Ashlee, peering at the new person in front of him trying to decide if he had met her or not. He decided check and see if his smile was working, so with one grand quirk of his lips he flashed Ashlee his generic polite smile and said, "Hi Nice to meet you my name is Noel, what's yours?"

Hansel slunk back into her room, leaving the door open and started to unpack her clothes. She put her headphones in and started singing quietly to herself, dancing in a goofy fashion as she set up her room. She jerked to the left and banged her head on the dresser. Giving up once again, she laid on the floor and decided that was enough unpacking for a few hours....

Ash heard the male voice behind her and said, "O-oh, hi. I'm Ashlee." Then she nodded to acknowledge Fae before walking over to the bright red bed and dropping her backpack on it. She tucked a strand of wavy hair behind her ear and opened the window. A breeze ruffled the whitish curtains and Ashlee inhaled. She decided to look for other people and find out who she was going to be sharing a house with. Sticking her hands in her hoodie's front pocket, Ash exited her room and walked down the hallway the way opposite of Hansel's room.

Noel blinked at the back of Ashlee's head before giving up and searching for the kitchen, before deciding against cooking anything since this was not his house. Maybe there was a park or a shopping center close by, not that it mattered, because he was definitely not going out the house. Instead he settled for finding a vacuum and entertaining himself with keeping the house clean.

After glancing into several rooms self-consciously, not wanting to barge in on anyone, Ashlee settled on the objective of finding the bathroom. She was walking down the stairs when she saw Noel... vacuuming? "So. You like vacuuming, do you? Sorry, I kind of ignored you." Ashlee laughed quickly. "My name is Ashlee Connor, and I'm sixteen. Do you know who else lives in this house?"

Hansel regained her bearings and grabbed her purse. She was hungry and wasn't going to barge into someone's kitchen and cook. 'Plus it's not like i know how to cook anyway...' she thought. She bounded down the stair, holding on tightly to the railing. She decided it'd be polite to ask if anyone wanted something to eat. She bet she could find a McDonalds or something around. "Hey!" she called out to the two talking at the bottom of the stairs. "I'm going out for food if anyone wants to tag along?" She shuffled her feet, waiting for a reply. Then she blinked. "Oh gosh! Sorry for interrupting...i'm a bit impulsive a-and....um yeah..."

Noel glanced at Ashlee then at Hansel, before glancing back at Hansel, "My name is Noel Hawkins and I'm seventeen well I know this is... Mohawk-fall-down-the-stairs-girl... and the brunette chick, I don't know about the others..." he said, glancing Ashlee up and down, "And cleaning is a good way to get your mind off things... and sure Hansel, I'll tag along,"

Ash stifled a giggle and said, "Okay," to Noel before addressing Hansel: "No, no that's okay. Yeah I'll go with you! Let me grab some money first." With that she raced back up the stairs and into her room, where she dumped the contents of her backpack onto her bed. Searching through the clothes and electronics, Ash located a ten-dollar bill. She exited her room and called down the stairs, "Okay, I'm coming!" Being careful on the wooden floor, Ashlee raced down the stairs. However, she wasn't being careful enough and slipped on the second-to-last stair and stopped herself from faceplanting by grabbing onto the railing. But she still landed on her knees and slid a small way across the floor. Looking up at Hansel and Noel, she said, "Huh . . . The stairs are kind of slippery."

Noel squinted at Ashlee before reaching over and picking her up and then placing her on the ground, "Okay everyone's falling, when's it my turn?" he chuckled, shoving his hands in his pockets. Then he glanced back at Hansel, shooting her a grin.

Hansel reached out, trying to help her up but Noel got there first. She laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of her head. "So to my truck! And don't worry...I don't drive as badly as I walk!" she said, grinning at Noel and turning to bounce out to her car. "Do either of you know where there is to eat or are we just driving around?"

"Heh... thanks." Ashlee dusted herself off and laughed at Noel's comment. She then looked at Hansel and said, "Just driving around is fine for me," before smiling and stifling another giggle. Ash tucked her ten dollar bill into her jeans pocket and followed Hansel toward her truck.

Noel looked at Hansel's truck with obvious disapproval and curled a finger around a long strand of his hair. "D*** Hansel, a truck? You're whipping it aren't you?" he said, before looking back at Ashlee with a raised eyebrow, "And you certainly do giggle a lot,"

Ashlee immediately quieted down before saying, "You certainly don't . . . I guess you could say that I find a lot of things funny." She smiled briefly and lightheartedly and then turned to Hansel's truck. "Hey, it'll get us food, I'm not complaining!"

Hansel huffed. "It was my dad's fishing truck. He gave it to me before I left." She quickly jumped into the driver's side. "Come on in..." she muttered, leaning over to open the passenger door.

Noel grinned and gestured for Ashlee to get into the passenger side before, pulling himself into the back, resting his head on his arms. "Well Ashlee, there's nothing wrong with being giggly..." he said and then glanced at Hansel, "Your dad was a fisher?"

Hansel cleared her throat and started the car. "No, he used to do it on the weekends or whatever..." A loud meow from the back reminded her that she left her cat in the truck. "Oh that's Delilah." She said softly, pulling off from the curb. She glanced back through the rear view mirror to see her black cat with tiny white paws and big green eyes sitting on the seat next to Noel, looking up at him curiously. "She's really gentle...and only 3 months old."

Isaac sighed as he walked back into the house. He walked up to his room, neglecting to shut the door behind him. He put his glasses on and took out a book from his drawer. He then took out another cigarette, lit it, and let it in his mouth. He sat on the edge of his bed and began reading.

Fae was busy strumming away on her guitar, singing softly. Her guitar really soothed her nerves and made her feel happy to be alone, mostly because she liked the sound of her own singing voice. Fae figured that it was probably a selfish way to think, but she had been told so many times that her voice was beautiful that she had begun to take a liking to it herself. It was probably one of the very few things she liked about herself.

Isaac took his glasses off and put his book away. He stepped out of his room. He was going to walk down to the kitchen, but stopped himself when he heard a beautiful noise. He made his way toward the noise instead. He saw Fae playing her guitar and heard her soft, beautiful voice. "You're Fae right?" He took the cigarette out of his mouth and held it between his index and middle fingers.

(OOC: Sorry for not responding guys, I'm waiting for Hansel and Ashlee, in the meantime I guess Noel is just chilling in the car, xD )
