Undead Apocalypse [Inactive]

He teleported to her side, out of her grasp. "I am not a murderer. I did what I had to do to keep you safe, for christ sakes, girl. If it weren't for me now, not only would you be dead, I would have been rich. I turned down 1 billion dollars to keep you safe. I wouldn't have to be here right now, but I cared about you. Don't you understand?" He defended himself.

"I took you in, not letting the social services take you away. You were a daughter to me, does that mean anything to you?'

"BECAUSE I NEARLY DIED WHEN YOU LEFT!!!" Angry tears flowed down my cheeks freely. I crumbled to the floor. "They tried to kill me and you weren't there…"

"I-I went to jail. I was locked up, protecting you." He spoke more calmly. "I don't know if you found that out, but it certainly wasn't me trying to get away from you."

I glared up at him. "It was your fault." My eyes shifted between black and golden-green. "I could've died. And you wouldn'tve known. You wouldn'tve cared."

"Wouldn't care? You can hate me, want me dead, and even torture me to death, but I will not stand here allowing you to say I wouldn't care."

I scoffed and stood. "You're always trying to make yourself innocent, aren't you? God forbid that Adarian be bad!" I shout, waving my arms around. "Well, I suggest you wake up. Because you're nowhere near innocence."

I gave a harsh laugh. "Good intentions!? You killed government agents!!! You're a /murderer/. There is no good intentions behind that, Adarian!!"

"I was just trying to keep you safe and feel normal. But it doesn't matter. I am sorry I was wrong." With that he tried to leave the treehouse.

Dan lapsed back and forth between consciousness. "Where am I?" He couldn't get a grasp of his surrounding, nor the people who were around him. "Who are you people?"

"Wait a minute...," Dan took a second to collect his thoughts and suddenly remembered everything that had happened over the last few days. "My mate? ...Savvanah? What's going on?"

I looked at him, then away. My wolf side of me hated him endlessly, while another part of me still loved him and wanted him. I growled and held my head as I had a raging argument with myself. I slowly collapsed, crying out in pain.
