he looked at Rena as she turned around. He couldn't help but feel the attraction that acted like a magnet. She was beautiful and smart. She accepted him since they first knew each other, but as a leader, he knew he had to resist the urge.
 
The treehouse seemed to be one of the several trees of a small jungle in the center of the island. Where the jungle ended the beach began, and beyond that lay miles and miles of ocean. "Wherever we are, at least we don't have to worry about the zombies for a little while."
 
"Nagisa, you can really change a person, you know that right? Don't take that as a compliment." He decided to find an exit so he could look for food, and he found a trap door with a ladder heading down. "I'm going to see what i can find."
 
"You either want to be really close to me, or want to make sure I don't run away. Trust me, I should be fine." He knew there could be mutants surrounding the island. Not zombies, but far worse that will kill him instantly.
 
Nagisa giggled and sat in a corner, writing in her diary.


One day I think Ry- Rena and Adarian will have children, and will be happy. I hope. Rena reminds me of Ryou, a lot, and I try not to think about it but when I look at her I remember the day Ryou rode off with her family in that car, and the next day when I learned she had died. It makes me sad but I like to think about myself as the person who annoys the crap out of everyone and perhaps cheers them up, whatever works to distract them from this apocalypse. The truth is that when I entered that kitchen behind Savvy I was intending to get a knife and just end this all, but these people helped me realize what I had to fight for, my friends, them. I had to be sure that my friends lived peacefully before I could die, because if I died with my friends in trouble I would never forgive my self.


I have to live, for them.
 
"I'd really rather not let you go alone." Rena stated. "I know you're strong, but it's always a good idea to bring back up." She knew she was being persistent in the matter, but she really did not want anything to happen to him.
 
"Look, maybe they will wake up not knowing what the hell is going on. I will be back soon, besides, I survived 3 days by myself getting eaten by these corpses. If there is anything, it would have to be a cougar or something." Then Savvanah woke up. "See?"
 
Dan awoke with the same feeling as before, when they first came to the future. "Oh God, my head," He clutched the back of his head and propped himself up. "I'm never drinking again." Confused, he looked around, noticing the surroundings had changed dramatically--he knew he was no longer in the same house. "Uh, Rena? Nagisa? Savvanah? What happened? Where am I?"
 
"My little puppy! You are awake. I am sorry about what happened years ago, but... It isn't the time to speak and well, see ya." He was hopeful Rena would explain. He went down the rope ladder, knowing that he had at least his pocket knife in it's sheath on his right calf.
 
"Adarian is a magician now and teleported us here because he wanted too", Nagisa said with a shrug.


"I honestly think I'm high now, I took all my pills last nig-", she started, then looking over at Rena fearfully.
 
"N..Nothing!", Nagisa said aloud.


"Mommy, I said nothing!", Nagisa said, begging. An empty pill bottle fell from her right pocket.
 
"Rena I think Savvys going to steal Daddy, and I think Danny is going to cry because Savvy is cheating on him", Nagisa muttered.
 
Hoping Savvanah didn't hate him, he looked for some food. He found some blueberries and a banana tree, although they weren't ripe. He soon realized he didn't have any container to fit it into. He headed back preparing himself for the tornado known as Savvanah.
 
Dan listening to Nagisa and Rena go back and forth. "We could just have a good, old-fashioned orgy to ease the tensions," Dan began laughing at his joke but stopped once it made his head hurt.
