Undead Apocalypse [Inactive]

"In all seriousness you two could save the human race by reproducing!", she said with a giggle, taking it a little too far. She then considered Adarian's words.

"I hope soon...", she said with a slight smile.

The tingling sensation had finally stopped but the loud ringing in his ears kept him from the present, unable to focus. Did I get blown up? He thought to himself. Then Daniel remembered the first room where he had stood alongside others bound for a trip to the future. He remembered the machine and when the tingling started.

Dazed, Dan took a look down at the cracked concrete floor. "This is the future...", he muttered to himself. Glancing around the decrepit warehouse he was standing in, he noticed the others he came with were already moving about and heading out the door--one in particular bounding to and from every corner of the warehouse in search of something. He remembered hearing the gunshots, and lurched forward to follow the others out the rusted door when his foot kicked a metal object--a pipe about two-and-a-half feet in length. It might come in handy. He picked up the pipe, stretched and set out after the others, but keeping a safe distance.

Rena had frozen at Nagisa's observation and quickly took an unnecessary step away. An unbidden fear crawled down her spine as memories threatened to emerge, but she pushed them away. She was thankful when Adarian pointed out that someone else had woken, successfully grabbing their attention. "You're right, someone's up."

Before Dan could get anywhere, the others were already back in the warehouse. "Is it really that bad out there?" He smirked.

"Hello, and who are you?" He looked at the man with an insecure look. There was no reason to feel different around him, but he still felt he must be cautious.

Nagisa didn't seem to pay mind to the new person, smiling and giggling.

"Did I embarrass you, Ryou?", she asked, laughing. "I remember when you had that crush on our neighbor...", she said with a smile, that faded away as she looked over at Dan.

"Maybe we could all reproduce and populate the Earth again.", she said with a serious look on her face, this was definitely a bit of her drug's side effects.

Greeted by the only other conscious male in the room, Dan held out his hand for a shake. "I'm Daniel. You can call me Dan." He looked at the others, one in particular going on about reproduction. "I guess I'm not going home with a hover-car today."

"Nagisa, tone it down a bit, will ya?" He didn't deny that thismay have to happen, but this wasn't the time to think about that.
"nope."

Rena made a mental note to check the dosage of Nagisa's medication later. She turned her attention to Dan. "I'm afraid not. I'm Rena, by the way." she introduced.

"I am Adarian. Nice to meet you. I'll give you a quick rundown on the, situation.... We are in an apocalypse full of man-eating dead corpses. Yay! I killed on earlier, I don't know how safe we are." He looked over at Nagisa. "Well, We should be fine..."

"Man-eating...corpses? I didn't know you found that out there. Nagisa and I didn't see any when we walked out." Rena noted, barely managing to keep the worry from her voice.

"... Adarian you shouldn't be happy", she said with a serious tone. "Your insane!", she said, turning her head with her eyes closed and a frown.

"I don't know how you could say yay... So Ryou, who do you choose to reproduce with?"

"Man. Eating. Zombies?" Dan took a minute to think before smiling at Rena. "Well, I guess it could always be worse." He paced, taking note of his surroundings. "So, I guess we have to figure out some kind of plan then?"

"We should play a game to see who gets eaten first", she says with a curious look on her face. "That's how it always works in those creepy old stories", she said with a frown.

"I hope I don't get eaten..."

"Look, I'm sorry. I don't want to be here any more than you do. I'm just a little frustrated. thats all."
He sighed and sat down in a lawn chair. "We are going to have to look for food, water, a bathroom, and possibly a better shelter soon."
"Don't talk like that, please." How are we supposed to survive with an attitude like this?

"It's alright." she said to Adarian before turning to look at Nagisa. "Don't worry, we'll make sure they don't get you." While that wasn't something that she could actually promise, Rena figured it was the best thing to say.

"Let's face it, I'm going to die by the end of this day, aren't I?", Nagisa said with a depressed look on her face, and suddenly started laughing, she got up.

"Well I think I wish you guys the best of luck, especially you, Ryou.", she said, gently wrapping and putting down the rest of her granola bar on to the ground.

"No, if anyone it'll be me. I can promise that." He came over and looked her into the eyes. "We will protect you. Now, stop thinking of those bad thoughts and try to catch some sleep if you can."

"If we stop worrying about who's dying or getting eaten, we might have more time to think about survival." Dan spoke with a smile on his face. "I think we need to get a better idea of what we're dealing with."

"I agree with Dan." Rena said. "Also, I noticed while I was looking around earlier that this place hasn't been completely ransacked yet. There might be some useful stuff around."

"Well a survivor was killed while being armed. it's obvious he knew a little about the situation. This is going to get tough." Adarian was happy in taking a leadership role. However, all of thier lives depend on him. One mistake...

"I think I'm going to run and scream..", she said with a serious look on her face. "I could drive them away from you guys..", she said, sighing. "Besides, one less person to worry about."
