Undead Apocalypse [Inactive]

Dan couldn't stand idly by while Savvanah took on the behemoth by herself. He poked his head out from behind the sofa to have a look at the action when he noticed the monster's back was to him and a large wolf had latched onto it's head. Dan saw this as his opportunity and ran out, taking a heavy swing at the mutant, landing a blow on it's neck. However, Dan hadn't counted on the crowbar's hooked end to get stuck and was left trying to pull it from the beast's flesh.

Rather grateful that Nagisa didn't finish her sentence, Rena winced in sympathy when the creature was thrown into a wall. She pulled out her knife but hesitated; what could a little blade like this do against something that big? Suddenly, she saw Dan attack the mutant from behind, but was now stuck trying to get the weapon out.

Tightening her grip on the knife, Rena ran around to Dan, glad that the mutant was too distracted by the pain in its neck to notice her dash by. She leaped forward and sliced the rotting skin around the crowbar, freeing Dan's weapon, before jumping back.

"I must help too! STAAAAAAAAAARFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISH!"

Nagisa pulled out another star-shaped explosive, smiling. "Now, to activate this catastrophic device I simply press this big red button and run in five seconds... hmm.."

But Nagisa was kind of colorblind.

"Where's the big red button...there's just a big green button here..."

The tank ripped the wolf off its body and threw it aside. It looked over and noticed the man trying to tug his weapon free. It Swung its arm in an attempt to kill him. The moans of the dead filled the tanks ears as it turned its attention back to the wolf. (Hordes here in case I didn't make it clear)

With Rena's help, Dan's weapon was freed but he didn't have time to thank her. He fell backwards and rolled out of the way of the giant's swinging arm. Dan rolled directly into a wall, hitting his head with a loud thud. For a moment, the room was spinning and he was unable to focus, but he knew he had heard the unmistakable sounds of undead moans approaching.

Even though she had tried to dodge back, the edge of the tank's hand caught her and slammed her into a wall. Her breath was knocked out of her, leaving her to fall to her knees and gasp for a few moments to desperately get back her oxygen. To her dread, she noticed other regular zombies starting to head toward her and Dan.

After a few more large gulps of air, she picked up her knife and kit that had fallen from her hands from the earlier impact. She rushed over to Dan's side, noticing his temporary dizziness by the swimming in his eyes. "Come on, Dan. They're getting closer." she stated unnecessarily, hoping he would recover enough to help her fight as they approached.

Nagisa ran in front of Rena and started jabbing at some of the zombies.

"I couldn't figure out how to use the starfish so I'll just stab these things!", Nagisa yelled over the noise.

Dan did his best to stand, but found he was still a bit shaky. "W-what are we going to do? We can't fight all of them," He managed to mumble, his head still spinning and throbbing.

"We could die fighting or run", Nagisa suggested.

"I mean I prefer option two...", she said as she stabbed into the skull of a nearby zombie, penetrating through his skull into his brain, the knife got jammed inside in all the mush and Nagisa was struggling to free it.

Rena looked around. They were both right; with all of those zombies and the tank, they had no chance of winning. "We'll have to run. Nagisa, do you think you can help make a path through the zombies?" she asked, knowing that Dan would probably need some help. "Lean on me if you have to, Dan."

"I can make a path..", Nagisa said. Her knife was lost, but she had to figure out how to use that Starfish she had! Not to mention she took tons of the things from that warehouse.

She pressed the green button and threw it forwards, killing most of the normal zombies on their floor, yet everyone on the floor would either be burned or nearly burned.

"Ahh!"

Dan fell backwards from the shockwave of the explosion, but quickly tried to scramble back onto his feet. The portion of his arm that was exposed by his torn sleeve had been singed by the initial blast. As he gained his bearing, he did his best to push forward though in some degree of pain.

Rena fell to her hands and knees, biting back a gasp as flames licked and burned her ankle for a searing second. In a moment the explosion and its fire were gone, but the pain remained. She stood up, trying and failing to ignore the pain, and tried to help Dan up. She looked around as she did so for Nagisa, wondering how badly the other girl had been hurt.

The tank slammed its fist on the floor in challenge. Two seconds later it was pinned by a pieces of burning debris. It struggled arms and legs flaing allowing nothing near it. With each attemt to throw the debris off its self the house shook.

The shaking of the house finally righted Dan's head, "We've gotta' get out of here, before this whole house collapses on all of us." Dan took Rena's hand and made a run for it through the gap Nagisa had made for them with her 'starfish'.

I snarled as I got up, shaking myself off after being temporarily knocked out. Snapping my jaws, I ran at the beast for a killing shot.

Rena followed Dan, wincing every so often at the slight pain in her ankle. Hearing a sinister snarl, she turned to glance at the scene behind her. The hairy wolf-like creature had gotten back up and was about to attack the large mutant again. Just what was that wolf-like creature...?

Digging my claws into the monster's neck, I used my weight to snap it's neck, then promptly chew it's head off ferociously.

Rena put her hand over her mouth and tore her gaze away from the sickening sight of the creature devouring the mutant. Disgusted bile rose in her throat, but she swallowed it down. It was one thing to see a zombie with a knife or gun; it was completely different to actually watch something being chewed and eaten.

Dan kept running but the problem was that he had no idea where he was going or how far away he would need to get to be considered safe. He looked back at Rena and noticed a sickened look on her face, "Are you okay?"

She nodded, although a little shakily. "Y-yeah, um...yeah. Where are we heading, anyway?" she asked, trying to get her mind off of what she had seen.

Where am I going? He thought to himself. "I don't know, but we should get as far away from here as we can." He ran from the street then between houses, through backyards and over fences, doing his best to help Rena with the obstacles.
