Yeah, well - Then Erica is gonna have to protect him from himself. Can't have the adorable - self-conscious, servile little boy becoming too infatuated with the broody, unstable psychic boy, or the techy boy. Erica will make sure he is not abused or mistreated!

More so the background, her powers are lovely tbh. While I like and can appreciate the elements of racism(way you portrayed it, not the act, ew.) in her background, I'd like for it to line up a little better with the history of the rp. Maybe her uncle was a part of the Enlightenment before Magento lost control of it. Maybe his death and many others was part of the reason was established in the first place.athereal ok, I will read up on the lore and the other characters. Is it her powers that are the issue or was it more of personality or background. That way I know what I need to fix.

I was looking over the lore again and had a question. What year is it in the start of the rp? Also, even though the world is more accepting, small towns would hold prejudice against anything that is different. There would also be radical groups of hate, especially in small towns. I think this would be in any reality or universe, except of coarse perfect realities. Would you prefer I leave things like this out of her backstory though?

Start time in RP is the current year. I kinda fudged the years to keep things modern and a little easier to understand chronologically. It's less idyllic than the actual marvel comic universe, but it's a more accepting time in the means of minority groups. It wouldn't be as hard to pass off being a mutant now as it would be, say, in the 40s or 50s.
However, it's even more of a challenge because Charles Xavier was a pretty important bridge between those two worlds.
That's kinda the gist of the first Arc: accepting that Professor X isn't coming back and forging on for equality anyway.
Its the second Arc that actually deals with the ramifications of the Phoenix's actions and everything that comes with it.

I must admit I like the idea of Erica with a cigar and a whiskey, overlooking the grounds of an estate. It is strange how she is a free spirit that would never actually buy such a place due to the large responsibility one would have in order to maintain it... yet she fits into the "genre" of opulence and refinement perfectly. It is a nice contradiction in her personality. Something to explore.

Okay but if Erica is already gonna teach Marty about life I think elevating him from being a sewer dwelling former-morlock and teaching him about high-society stuff would be VERY GOOD.

Well, being that Davin hasn't interacted with anyone since he was a kid, it stands to reason that he abandoned table manners a long time ago. There should be courses on etiquette after Danger Room sessions.
I'll post a wrap up of the fight next. I'm feeling as if our group should retake the mansion, seeing as it is in pristine yet abandoned condition.
I'll also move some other world events into motion, as well as binging another Aware mutant into the fold for those who join the rp after this scene.
Sorry for the delays, there was a barbque and drama and I had to watch a few TEDtalks to refocus myself.

Oooooh. If Marty didn't see Sabretooth heal because of Cedric's interference, he'd definitely be very salty about it. If that's the sort of direction we want to take these characters at this juncture?
