Hello. My name is Katie and I live in California. I have come here one, because fb messenger has stopped working and I can't rp with any of my partners, and two, I'm looking for devoted rpers who enjoying coming up with amazing fantasy worlds as much as I do. I'm fine with rp's of all ratings. I particularly love to do yaoi <3

'Allo, Katie.

I'm Spoon.

Welcome to RpNation!

@Xylin will be around some time in the future, as she has to sleep eventually and might be doing so now.

She has this nifty post with all sorts of informational goodies in it.

In the mean time, while I'm still conscious at least, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have!

I am still awake as I too, am in CA and though it is but two hours until the witching hour I have not yet managed to seek my bed. The dogs have, but alas, I have not. I will, however, as soon as I get clean sheets onto my bed. They get quite dirty when dogs decide they are going to go outside then come inside. Blasted dogs.

And here is my infamous welcoming post:

Greetings and salutations!

Welcome to RP Nation, where Roleplay is our business.

You've found us, congratulations for choosing the best RP site on the whole intertubes, we're glad you're here and a part of the expanding universe that is RP Nation. Also, now you're officially one of the cool kids.

Before you being your quest to becoming one of the old hats here at RPN, please do take a second and take a look at the site rules. You can find them here: INFO - Official Site Rules | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Once you've had a glance over the rules there's more information to be had here: Site Questions & Information | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum. You can find something there to answer just about any question you might have.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum

They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.

If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch with either the moderators of your forum (the genre), the Super moderators, or even the admin staff. You can do that here: Site Questions & Information

If you have any questions you need to address to me, please tag me in your comments as I don't always get to every single response in every welcome thread and I end up missing a lot of questions. You can do that by using the @ before my handle.

Again, welcome to RPN and happy RPing.

I have a 12 year old rat terrier and I am babysitting my aunt's two dogs who are not as well raised as my girl. There's a chihuahua mix Kai and a Mutt, Roxie who is a red-head. Kai is dumb as mud and twice as dense. Roxie, however, is smarter than the other two.

I'm the loving brother of my three dogs, Charlie, Boomer, and Erin.

Charlie is my bestest pal, a one-eyed Shih Tzu. Yep, he's got only one eye. I'm not saying he has only one good eye. Just one eye. We have no idea how it happened, 'cause it happened before we found him in an animal shelter. He was in pretty bad shape, but he's all better now. He's getting old though, we fear his vision may be failing a bit.

Boomer, however, is still young and energetic. But you have to expect that from a white labrador. He's got the most expressive eyebrows you've ever seen. No real tragic backstory for him, I think. Other than his previous owners abandoning him because he pooped and barked alot as a puppy. Some people, am I right? I personally didn't even know we were getting a dog that day. Mum an' Da just showed up one night with this huge energetic thing that sniffed and licked everything that moved.

Erin was a puppy when we got her, and we had no idea she'd grow as big as a house. She and Charlie have had some... aggressive disagreements. It's hardly a fair fight, she could eat him in two bites. Other than a few of her episodes, she's a big softie and sweet as honey tea. Got a problem with allergies though, keeps scratching her fur out. She's an Anatolian mix, can't recall what else she has got in her. Probably a bit of monster truck.

I love my doggies.

People can be horrible sometimes. And then you see videos of people risking their lives to save a dog in a flood; a dog that isn't even theirs. I love watching clips of people risking their lives to save animals because it shows that most people, no matter where they're from, are good. Some are evil bastards that deserve to be shot and sent to meet their maker, but most are good.

My Coopaducks belonged to my mother's coworker and his wife. They then got a divorce and the ex didn't want Cooper and he couldn't keep her so they put her in a kennel for 4 months. When she first saw me that was it; I was her human. She definitely chose me but it took me six months to accept her. It then took a year for us to establish dominance. She is definitely an alpha. Roxie belonged to my sister's former co-worker. She had had Roxie and then got two pitbulls who then began to abuse poor Roxie. The ex-coworker was more than happy to get rid of the dog she's had for years. Once she came into our family we changed her name from Baby to Roxie. And then Kai is the result of a purebred chihuahua who got into the mix with a neighbor boy dog. The owners were going to abort the puppies but my aunt said she'd take one of them if they didn't. So they didn't. I don't know what happened to the other two, but my aunt got Kai. She is the ugliest thing. She's so ugly she's cute. :)

It's a scientific fact that ugly dogs are the cutest.

Why else would we adore pugs so much?

Pugs are amazing.

Pugs are ugly dogs, I also think that they are an example of just how moronic people can be. Seriously? How exactly is having that nose good for a dog?

It isn't, I'm sure.

I've seen what happens when they get older and it ain't pretty.

But I'll be damned if they don't make me giggle at their hijinks.

My friend has pugs. I have a Siberian husky, 2 parrots, and a sugar glider. My sister has a black lab puppy, Jake, and a mutt, Koda. Koda and one of my parrots are rescues, who were both abused and abandoned. Rescues are the best.
