So dark, when you say fear is their trait, is that as in they are, themselves, very cowardly, or the type to instill fear in others/intimidating?

More or less that. They are about the unknown and seeing the fear in others. The Dark Celestial would prob enjoy pulling pranks and frightening others.

Current Taken Celestials are Time and Water.
Currently, Celestials that are Cs's being made (To my knowledge) Are POssibly Dark and Earth.
Light, Fire, Air, and Space are the open celestials.

The gender were given to keep a healthy balance between genders for celestials.

Sort of. It's more of since the lost of their protector / queen they hold a "war" everytime a new being worthy of them comes to life to see who will be the leader for the next period of time.
