Fantasy Tyranny of King Valerian - A Fantasy GroupRP (Closed and Over)

Tyr, after a long day of being kicked out of taverns for not being able to pay his tab, was looking for a place to set up a campsite for the night. But, he heard something coming from the brush near by. Must be wolves. I'll be sure to keep the fire lit, he thought as he started to turn away. But then he hears what seems to be a woman's voice. Bandits, Tyr thinks. Wasn't there some sorta reward for catching some of them? Hey, not my problem. More money, more booze. Tyr then enters a nearby bush and tries to listen in on their conversation.

"I have been hunted by you humans since before you two were even your parents privates. I know their intentions and have seen what they csn do. And people call me a mindless momster."She said said almost darkly before smirking when hearing the snakes speak. "I wouldn't call myself a snake master more... a distance cousin. "She said to the snakes sweetly."I suppose there is not much need for a disguise is there."She said letting the spell disipate and showing her true self. Her snake hair seemed still at first before stirring at the slumber, they were at first confused before they looked curiosly at the snake master and his snakes, unsure of what to make of them."Say hi to our new friends sweethearts don't be shy."She saI'd to them and they seemed to obey. Thalia turned her attention to the man."Try having your familiars attached to you... at least you can hsve skme space from them."She said knowingly before turning to the girl."You really are a curious one. Going against a king with an army on your own for creatures that would sooner kill you."
[QUOTE="Paint The Wind]"I don't care. They don't deserve to be killed. They haven't hurt him, a Minotaur child age 4 at most was just brutally murdered. I need to stop him. I don't care what they would do to me. I have nothing to live for, if I die I'm okay with it."

"The king, eh? He's quite the madman. You believe you can take him down alone?" Ari was intrigued by this girl talking of killing the king. Hell, if word got out, she's be killed just for saying it. She was either a dumbass or very brave. Either way though, she stood no chance against that guy

"I know the king well, and I know his methods. I will be able to fight him if I have enough people who will fight with me." she said. "I've been working against him since he came to power. I won't let him destroy the peaceful and wonderful world I knew when I was 17 and naive."

Still in the bush, Tyr tries to see what is happening. The king?! Who does this daft lass think she is? I mean, sure, everyone hates the king, but to take him down? I need to know more, Tyr thinks to himself.

Tyr continues to lean in, but due to him being preoccupied with the previous statements in his head, the stick he was leaning up against snapped, causing Tyr to fall out of the bush, into plain sight in the progress.

Arabelle stood and pointed her sword at the neck of the stranger and had the other one against his back so he couldn't move. "Who are you?" she asked coldly, her eyes steely and stern.

Tyr looks up from the ground, only for his gaze to meet the long blade pointed at him. Shocked, Tyr rolls out from underneath the sword and scrambles to his feet. Tyr then unsheathes his great sword and steps into battle stance.

"Who an I? I'm tha' one who's gonna claim yer bounty, bandit!"

Ari's snakes crawled up on Ari's arms, and at the end of his arms, they waited to strike. If Ari punched him, the snake would strike almost simultaneously. He looked to the newcomer

"Someone wants to die tonight, eh?"

"THIEF?! Oh, now you are just bein' cold. Who are you to speak you ban- wait, what?"

"You'd better explain what you're doing here or you'll get stabbed and poisoned by snakes. So, explain yourself." she said, her eyes narrow and cold.

Tyr looks at the three of them, and then thinks for a bit.

"Damn. Well, sorry for the inconvenience. I guess I'll just make my way back to me camp. Sorry to disturb you kids. I have got to make it to Toron tomorrow. Toodles."

"Oh no ya don't. You didn't quite answer the question."
The snakes rapidly headed to the entrance and placed themselves there, one on the ground at the entrance, one at the top of the entrance and the other stayed on Ari's arm

"Don't you know the rules of battle? I don't know where you're from, but here you draw your weapons making threats and you don't get to concede without paying a price. Be it with cash, property, limb, or life, you don't get to leave without giving something up. On top of that, you were spying, which ups that price."

Tyr stops in his tracks and reaches behind his back, griping the leather handle of his great sword.

"Lad," Tyr said in a low voice, the jovial nature drained out of him. "Do you mean to threaten me? I have no quarry with you, but if you wish to fight, so be it. I have killed many of Valerian's men in battle. One boy with a death wish will not rest my blade."

"Stop there, both of you, or you'll each lose a hand." Arabelle said coldly. "Now, tell me what you are doing here and what you were doing listening to us and maybe I'll consider not running you through with my sword." she said cooly.

Tyr explains that there was a bounty for a group of bandits in these woods and he mistook the group for them.

"There. Was that so hard?" she said tauntingly. "Now, you mentioned that you fought against the king. I'm doing the same, and I was wondering if you want to join me."

"I'm sorry lass, but I don't think that saying that would have got me point across, no?", Tyr says, as he takes a sip of his whiskey.

Thalia show the bandit and shook her her head, remaining silent as she took in her new group. "There is a best way? Just make your point. Like this: mistake was made, sorry."

"As if someone like you could ever defeat me. I've dropped entire forts alone at Valerian's pay." With his Basilisk's toxic breath and stone gaze, as well as almost impenetrable top-side armor, he ran through an entire fort in about 5 minutes. "You're one bite away from a 20 death."

"A group of bandits, eh?" He took out a drawn picture of the group. He had never gotten around to completing that bounty, now this fool was trying to take it from him. "Looks like I waited too long to get it done."

"Lad, this isn't your mark. Now, to please the young lass and hold your tongue before you say something you regret."

Ari scoffed. His snakes stayed at the entrance. "I don't regret a word that comes out of my mouth, or a target I kill."

"I got what I wanted, an answer. So, if you don't mind I'll be going on my way." Arabelle turned to the snake woman. "Try not to die." she said.

Ari had to kill the bandits in the forest. "I have a bounty to take. I'll be heading out."

Ari gathered the snakes and left to find the bandits from the bounty. He came across the group and destroyed them. The bounty was specifically on the leader's head. After dispatching the entire group, Ari went into the city to collect his fortune

"Well," Tyr says, as he looks around, "I guess I'll be off. I have to find Kugaal 'fore 'e can get to Toron. Toodles." And at that, Tyr walked out of the clearing.
